Chapter 28
The weather became far colder than before.
Incidentally, as Kitsune stated, Yuuji cannot withstand temperatures below 0 degrees. So, everyone got creative to ensure Yuuji kept warm. When Satoru had him, he tucked Yuuji into his jacket, and yet allowed him to peek out over the collar. It was rather silly to see him with a baby in his jacket, but he appeared to love it!
Gojo that is, Yuuji just went with it and made it fun for himself.
Fushiguro had also gotten something similar. A sweater with a built in pouch within. He could tuck Itadori in there and wonder about without much care. Nobara would wrap him up in a USB charged heated blanket. She monitored the time carefully to ensure it had a charge and kept the heat.
Who had become his favorite heating buddy is Panda! Panda is careful with him and yet, more often than not, if Yuuji locks eyes on him, he wants to go to him over everyone else… even Choso!
Still, if he is kept warm that is all that matters.
Suiryu did the same thing as Gojo. Merely tucking him into his jacket or sweater and letting him peer out over the collar.
Yet it was odd, after the meeting that Kitsune called for to ensure Yuuji would be looked after, Suiryu went to see D'angelo and explained he was late due to a family meeting. "Little bro needs some new threads apparently. However, they have to be warm. The stuff made theses days are not good enough for him and he is extremely cold sensitive." He explained.
There came an interested look over D'angelo's face. "Really? Is it like a cold allergy?" he asked curiously.
"All I know is that if he is exposed to 0 degree weather for more than twenty minutes without proper protection… it will kill him. Needless to say I am going to be stretching out a lot of sweaters…" he said and snickered.
He paused for a moment as he swore D'angelo twitched his hand below his waist, as if signaling something or someone. Suiryu didn't think much of it and continued on the conversation. "I take it your little brother has to have special made clothing. The stuff in the stores probably won't do…" he said offhandedly.
"Needless to say, the doc says he doesn't generate enough body heat."
Suddenly, he appeared.
A rather built fellow Suiryu sees all the time, but this guy is usually altering his clothing so it fits him like a glove. "Oh, I forgot to introduce you… I have to introduce you to a lot of people around here. This is our garment manager… also designer. Archie!" he explained.
Archie smiled to him. "Finally get a chance to talk, normally when I work, I am in a zone and cannot be spoken to."
"No shit, I've tried to have a conversation with you and you appear to ignore me… I thought I offended you or something…"
D'angelo laughed. "It's how he is, when something needs to be done, fixed, made… there is no breaking him out of that focus until he is done! Trust me sweetie, I've been there too."
He smirked at the notion until Archie held up a rather nice little snowsuit. "Huh? What's this?"
"For your brother, I think this will fit him." D'angelo explained. "We got some very high ended materials, this is a special snowsuit that will generate its own heat!" he said proudly. "Archie made him with some assistance from the others. This will DEFINATLY keep your brother nice and toasty!" he said proudly.
Suiryu was stunned. "Uh… thanks?" he said in an uncertain tone.
Wait, how did they know his 'little brother' he just spoke of was this small? Why hasn't D'angelo mentioned the 'son' he had with Nobara?
Something wasn't adding up here.
"Thank you very much for the offer. I will be certain he wears this," yet he didn't know if Yuuji could. What materials were used in this? How could it keep him warm? He didn't know but he knew better than to refuse the gift.
He worked for the rest of the day, when it was all said and done, he gave his thanks once more and headed back to the school. All the while he tried to figure out the little snowsuit he was given. Curious, he put his hand into it, at first he didn't feel any heat, until it suddenly warmed up! "Huh, my hand doesn't generate that kind of heat unless I summon fire… I didn't do any of that…"
Curiouser still. But for the moment, he will keep it, perhaps it will help them out in the long run.

"What the hell…"
By the time he returned back home, he found Gojo wearing that damn dragon costume he used to teach Yuuji how to fly in, but he had altered it to include a kangaroo like pouch, but more up onto his chest. Yuuji slept in it rather blissfully before Satoru turned with a proud smile. "He likes it," he whispered to him. "I think I may make another one…"
He used the wings like a blanket, taking the mechanics out of them, they became malleable and brought them down and over Yuuji protectively. "Sometimes, I can't believe you would go such lengths to do something… then again I keep forgetting you're Satoru Gojo and tend to go such lengths anyway if it's different, interesting or annoying to those around you."
No argument came from Satoru. Suiryu rolled his eyes to it all. He wanted to take Yuuji back, but he was out cold, snuggled up like a bug in a rug. He didn't have the heart to move him.
With a defeated sigh, Suiryu said. "When he wakes up, I got to take him back…" he warned.
Gojo merely nodded. With that, he left for the time being, but, he wanted to see what this little snowsuit was made of…
