Chapter 33

"MUSH! MUSH!"

Faster and faster they went. Tanso was smiling as he peered up as Noranso ran the dog sled he just finished. With the help of his brothers, they returned to the former school where they lived. There they were able to entertain Yuuji in peace. For the first while, they allowed him to play outside in the snow. The triplets and Choso were in charge of that. Tanso, Sanso and Eso were in the workshop as they made the sled. Sanso did all the metal parts out of his blood and curse energy. Eso made an outer part of the sled with various materials and YouTube tutorials. Tanso worked on the dogs.

He had a few wolves in his possession, many he found in that died in cruel traps left by hunters, but he wanted a few more for the sled. With that, he used his own blood and energy to make four more wolves. "Are you sure you want to use wolves? Aren't Huskies more traditional?" Eso asked offhandedly. "I remember Junpei saying something like that."

Tanso was confused. So was Sanso. "What's a husky?" Sanso asked.

"A breed of dog normally used for dogsleds."

'Wolves are fine, mine are very obedient' Tanso chimed in as his words appeared etched on his chest.

Eso nodded to him as he finished the main body of the sled. "Okay, now we reinforce it and add the blades to the bottom." He announced. Sanso got right to work as he enforced the sled. It took him no time to complete, the final thing they needed to make were harnesses and straps for the 'dogs'. Noranso and Sanso worked together on that as Tanso finished the last of the sled dogs. It took some of his energy, yet thanks to his growing power, not much of his blood.

The wolves were easy to set up in the harnesses and then connect to the sled, once it was taken out of the shop, the brothers had gathered and appeared rather surprised to it.

Yuuji was bouncing with excitement!

"You wanna go for a ride Yuuji?" Eso asked gently.

"Umph! Umph! Umph!" he said and bounced. Tanso was given the honor of holding him, He got set up in the sled as Choso gently tucked Yuuji into his arms. There was a blanket for extra warmth as Noranso took to driving the sled. "Okay, once around the forest, ready? MUSH!"

Nothing happened.

The wolves didn't move and appeared to be confused. Noranso sighed. "Big bro, can you explain to the wolves when I say mush, it means for them to go?" he asked gently.

Tanso nodded.

'Mush, means run,' he simply thought to his familiars. Suddenly, they perked and then…

WOOSH!

Noranso was nearly knocked off the sled as the wolves went into a full run! Yuuji giggled aloud as they raced through the forest, the snow was nothing to the familiars as they ran. It wasn't long until the pace slowed down, the wolves kept at a good clip, but they were able to enjoy the scenery a little more.

Peering down, Tanso smiled as Yuuji stared out into the world with bright and curious eyes. Everything was new to him, it was all a learning experience and Tanso knew he just became part of the moment in the mind of his little brother.

It took the wolves a half hour to do one lap. When they finished, they knew to return back home and come to a stop.

Yuuji was giggling and clapping to it all, it was a grand adventure and he enjoyed every minute of it! "Well done everyone, perhaps it is best we go inside and warm up for a while." Choso announced.

"I'll get the fire going!" called Shouoso.

"I'll get started on some hot chocolate" said Eso.

They retreated indoors, but paused to find that the fire was already made and there was already hot chocolate poured! Suiryu was sitting there, waiting along with Fushiguro. "Took you guys long enough, sit, they are going to get cold"

The brothers smirked as they all took a seat and savored their drinks. Fushiguro however peered outside to the dog sled. "That looks well made." He said offhandedly.

"I half a mind to make another and have you race your shikigami in one!" snickered Suiryu.

"They won't be used for something like that, I doubt the wolves would allow it."

"You never know…" Suiryu said in a teasing voice. "Shikigami know who they like, they like Yuuji…" he said offhandedly.

"You just want to see them race to compare who is faster and stronger…" muttered Sho.

"Damn, he saw right through that…" Suiryu said and snickered.

"So, what's going on at the school? Have the elders figured out…"

"Nope, as far as they are concerned, they killed him." Suiryu said with a twisted grin. "They are a little panicked right now, and it doesn't help that Kitsune's sisters are keeping a VERY close eye on them… it's hilarious!"

Suiryu chuckled at the notion. Fushiguro rolled his eyes to it all. "I don't quite get it, but at the same time, I feel that the elders and councilmen should sweat a little for what they put Itadori through." He said offhandedly. "But, how are we going to end this little prank of yours?"

Suiryu paused to consider the notion, if anything, the prank will end the moment Yuuji returns home and is seen. At the same time, it's only three in the afternoon, so they could sweat a little longer over it. "However long we have, I could care less when this ends. So…" he said and shrugged his shoulders.

Tanso smirked to it all, at the same time he wondered if his little brother was really safe where he is. He turned to Suiryu oddly and then cleared his throat, it was one the few ways he gets his brother's attention. Yet as he thought of what he wished to say, his words already appeared on his chest.

'I don't think it will be safe there much longer, my instinct is telling me this. Is there anywhere else we could go?'

The room paused to the question. "Tanso?" Choso whispered.

'I'm sorry, this has bothered me for a while…'

He looked about and saw his brothers were stunned, yet Suiryu appeared to be deep in thought to it all. "I have to agree with him,"

"Suiryu?" Fushiguro whispered.

"I feel like our time at the school is greatly numbered, Tanso has animal like instincts, and they know when a place they have called home is threatened, the urge to leave grows… you've had it for a while haven't you?"

He paused, but his head nodded.

"I don't blame you the least bit," Suiryu said. "However for the moment, we need to remain where we are. Besides… I already have another place where we can go… not a word Megumi," he said in a warning tone.

Fushiguro paused. "Wait, you've already…"

"I have one, it's a place Sukuna himself made… I already cleared the place out and set up buildings for everyone to live in, it's the size of a small city to be honest with you… hidden in the mountains."

No one moved.

Choso was the most stunned. "Will you take us there at least once, just so we know…"

"Yeah, I promise you I will," checking his watch, Suiryu sighed aloud. "We ought to head back, the council is going to get suspicious that everyone has left the grounds and entrusted them with a baby dragon."
