"You awake, Zo?" a familiar voice woke up the redheaded girl. She rubbed her sleepy, green eyes and sat up and looked at the tall, handsome male - Edgar. She must have fell back asleep again. She smiled at him, happy to see him, her life was falling apart but at least she had him to give her company whilst it was falling apart.
"Morning" she replied, she looked down to see what she was wearing and remembered that he had let her borrow his t-shirt, it was huge on her but made her feel comfy, and in a way, loved.
"So, you gave it any thought yet?" Edgar asked her, she knew what he was talking about - her being expelled, her parents not knowing that she even left, Mr Burton...
"No" she simply said.
"Well if you need any help-"
"Edgar, I appreciate it, really, I do, but I'd rather just forget about it for now and focus on other things, just live life" Zoe smiled to her friend, Edgar nodded and leaned forward, giving her a kiss on the forehead. He then stood up and turned around and began walking to the door.
"Waffles?".
Zoe smiled and let out a giggle "Oh, definitely" she replied and got up from the bed to follow him through to the kitchen, making their favourite breakfast.
"Hey man" Bif walked into the bar room at Harrington House, Derby was in his red and black robe, looking down at a fireplace, he was in deep thought about something. He whipped around as soon as he heard his best friend - Bif was like a brother to him, he could never understand why they were friends though, Bif was a push around and weak whilst Derby was strong and had more of the brains in the friendship, actually, had most of the brains in the whole Preppy group.
"Bif, how are we today?" Derby walked over and firmly put his hand on Bif's shoulder, grabbing it slightly "No hangover?".
Bif chuckled "No hangover, how is... how is Pinky?" he stuttered to ask, since Derby now knew that Bif had a crush on his girlfriend it would be hard to talk about her around him, it made him feel awkward, but he couldn't hide his feelings. Derby noticed the look on his best friend's face and smirked.
"She's fine, she made it obvious to me how much she wanted me last night after the party, if you know what I mean" he lied, he wanted to see the look on Bif's face, and to make him sure to never come near his girl again. In fact, Pinky never stayed with Derby last night, and hardly spoke to him either. Derby let out a slight chuckle at his rude comment and Bif faked a laugh with him, trying not to make his feelings obvious. Derby let go of Bif's shoulder and moved to sit down at the fireplace, he gestured for Bif to sit in the armchair opposite him, which he did. "Now, I have a plan."
"A plan?" Bif questioned.
"To bring down the Greasers" Derby explained, crossing his legs over "That was an interesting comment the head cheerleader made last night - Lola sleeping with three of our mates, I knew she was a slut but that confirmed it right away."
"I mean, I'm not sure if we can do much, it looks like that greaseball forgave her, they were all over each other last night once they came back downstairs" Bif explained, it did seem that most couples made up last night.
"It would seem so" Derby said, rubbing his chin slightly in thought "Unless... we persuade Lola to get back with one of them, perhaps Gord, as he does fall for whores hard" Derby laughed at his own joke - he was disgusting, he didn't care for women, didn't care for anybody.
"But how? She's Johnny's girlfriend now."
"By dragging Johnny away - Mandy's sister is back in Bullworth, don't you remember that her and Johnny dated? If we could get Lola to see them two together, she would get the wrong idea and move to one of our boys" Derby explained.
"But Lola doesn't know about Johnny and Tiffany's past, does she?".
"Who is the biggest gossip in this school?"
Bif thought for a moment, "Christy."
Derby let out a clap and leaned back on his armchair "And there we go, Christy will end up telling Lola about their past, we make sure that Lola catches them both, she leaves Johnny for Gord, and then Johnny goes mental, and we're back on top of this school."
Bif agreed and leaned back - he knew it was nothing to do with the greasers, Derby just enjoyed torture and hurting others, he was almost as bad as that psychopath Gary Smith.
Damon and Angie left the carnival, Damon was finishing off his fizzy drink and Angie was eating her massive pink candyfloss that Damon had bought her, she also carried a huge brown teddy bear in her other arm. "Okay, I've not been on many dates, but that was the best one" Angie smiled at the jock - she was dressed in a short dark pink dress with canvas shoes, and had curled her black locks.
"Many dates?" Damon joked with her.
"Okay, shut up, I've never been on a date" she pushed him in a friendly way and took another bite of her candyfloss.
"I don't know why, you're honestly the nicest girl I've met in a long time, possibly ever" Damon smiled at her and put his arm around her shoulder as they began walking through the tunnel, back to Bullworth Academy. "Look, Ang, I just wanna apologise again for what happened before, I can absolutely promise you nothing happened between me and Mandy from the time I asked you out, it was months ago" he explained. Angie looked up at him and smiled back.
"I know, plus Ted gave you a black eye, so I guess that makes us even since I feel bad" Angie giggled and Damon rolled his eyes and laughed too "So did you guys sort it out? The three of you I mean?".
"Yeah, Mandy's sister Tiffany is back to visit her and kind of helped her clear the air with us, so we've all forgave each other, it might be a bit awkward for a while but we've all known each other for so long you know."
"Wait... Mandy's sister?" Angie asked, "Does Johnny know?".
Damon raised an eyebrow and then remembered why Angie would ask that "Oh shit, I didn't even think of that, she was Johnny's longest relationship right?".
"Johnny's only relationship, well besides from Lola" Angie explained.
"You have to come to this party tonight, you never know Zoe, you and Mandy might make up" Lola told the redhead on the phone. "Great, I might see you tonight then" she hung up.
"Hey, Lo!" Christy walked into the dorm room where Lola was sitting, she sat on the empty bed in front of hers which was once Zoe's. The perky redhead cheerleader was wearing her cheerleading uniform and had her shiny, long hair in a high ponytail.
"Lola" the greaser corrected her as she fixed her leather jacket and looked through her phone, smiling at messages that Johnny was sending her.
"Oops" Christy bit her bottom lip "So anyway, I hear that Mandy's sister Tiffany is here to visit, you met her yet? You know, Johnny's ex-girlfriend?" Christy asked, watching the greaser girl. Lola stopped typing halfway and looked up the perky cheerleader.
"What?" she asked, quite angrily.
"Oh my god, like, you know, nothing" Christy stood up off the bed, realizing what she had said, and began making her way to the door. Lola quickly stood up as well, closing the dorm room door "No, this is like kidnapping, let me out" the ditzy girl sighed and Lola leaned against the door.
"Johnny's ex? My Johnny has an ex? I thought he just banged girls and then left them" Lola questioned.
"I mean, yeah he does, but last year he went out with Tiffany Wiles but it's okay, she's not staying, she's just visiting Mandy, I mean she's probably left already and I'm sure he wouldn't talk to her at all" Christy smiled and tried to cheer up the auburn girl.
And with that, Lola left, to go find Johnny and confirm this information.
Lola marched into the Auto Shop and right up to Johnny, who was speaking with Hal and Lefty, she grabbed his shoulder to turn him around. "H-hey, baby, what's up?" he asked her, he could see that she was angry. Hal and Lefty quickly backed up and pretended that they needed to be somewhere else.
"You forget to tell me about this Tiffany bitch?" Lola crossed her arms, she was fuming. Johnny's eyes widened and he gulped - how did Lola find out about Tiffany?
"How... how did you find out about that?" Johnny whispered, trying not to get all the greasers attention on him.
"We're not keeping secrets from each other, huh?" Lola asked, her hands rolled into a fist out of anger as she looked up at the taller male. She knew Johnny for years, but not once did she take him for a hypocrite.
"Look, I was gonna tell you babe, yeah she's my ex but she's just visiting her sister, I promise I'll never talk to her ever again" Johnny explained, putting his hands on both the female's shoulders. Lola looked away and then back up at Johnny and nodded.
"Fine" she simply said and Johnny lightly pecked her red-glossed lips, smiling at her.
Mandy sat by herself at the long lunch table, there was no one else there other than a few non-clique students who she rarely spoke to. She sat with her face in her hands, stressing, she was stressing about Ted, about Damon and Johnny, what everyone would think of her. She just wanted to be popular. She looked down at the tray of food she had, she gulped and then immediately stood up and grabbed the tray, walking over to Edna the cook "If you're here to complain about the food again-" Edna started.
"I'd like some more please" Mandy sternly said, looking at the cook. Her request took Edna by surprise, no other student wanted more food than what they were given, in fact most of them never even ate at the lunch hall.
"Well sure, kid, there's tons leftover" Edna replied, giving her a slight smile as she filled up Mandy's tray with what could only be described as horrible grub. Mandy gave a slight smile back and whipped back round to sit at the table. She looked down at the plate of food and let out a sigh, she drank her full glass of water in the space of five seconds, and then began eating the food that was given to her, she quickly swallowed bits, rushing, not taking her time, she didn't even care if people were looking at her. She managed to finish her tray of food in less than 10 minutes and gosh, did she feel full. Mandy quickly stood up and grabbed her gym bag as she rushed out the lunch hall and hurried to the girls toilets. She stopped herself to look in the mirror, a tear falling down from her eye as she dropped her bag and walked into the toilet, slowly closing the door. She leaned down and stuck her two fingers at the back of her throat, forcing herself to be sick. She cried while doing it, but it helped her forget her stress and troubles.
Pinky pressed her lips together as she checked herself out in the mirror of the gyms toilets, her eyes were looking slightly tired due to the party over the weekend. She tried to focus on herself, get herself mentally prepared for cheerleading practice, but there was one person she couldn't stop thinking about - Bif. She sighed as she looked down at her outfit, all she could think about was if he was in these lockers with her, kissing her all over. Oh wow, she did like Bif. She snapped out of it, tied her trainers and left the toilets as she waited for the other girls.
"Pinky!" Angie smiled, she had just came back from her date with Damon, he still had his arm around her shoulder. Pinky smiled - she was happy for her friend. She ran to give the girl a hug "I gotta go get ready for practice" Angie said to Pinky and smiled, she then looked at Damon as he kissed her cheek, she skipped to the toilets to put on her outfit.
"She's so smitten by you Damon!" Pinky grinned and playfully hit Damon's upper arm.
"She is, ain't she?" Damon crossed his arms and smiled, thinking about their date.
"Soooo, how was the date?" Pinky asked, putting her hands behind her back and twirling slightly to get gossip from the jock.
"I'm sure Ang will fill you in" he smiled at the preppy.
Pinky giggled and then thought for a moment "Um... What do you think will happen between Ted and Mandy? They've not saw each other since the party, right?".
"I dunno, I mean he's forgave her but he'll still be hurt, they've been together since they were 14" Damon explained. Pinky nodded in agreement "And you and Ted are all good, yeah?".
"Yeah, definitely, we made up after that argument at the party, he's my bro" Damon replied, smiling at the brunette. Pinky smiled back and with that, Angie appeared from the toilets "There's my favourite cheerleader!" Damon smirked, giving her a peck on the lips.
"Excuse me!" Pinky demanded "Joint favourite I hope", the group laughed and headed off for practice.
Mandy stood out of the toilet and looked in the mirror, she wiped a bit of puke from the side of her face and washed her hands. Throwing water on her face, she looked in the mirror and applied some more makeup, tightening her ponytail and using some breath spray and chewing gum to clear the smell from her throat. She smiled in the mirror at herself, checking out her slim physique - she was the Queen Bee, and her next mission was to get back the quarterback, Ted Thompson. She grabbed her gym bag and swayed her hips as she left the bathroom, catching the eye of everyone in the school. "Yo Mandy - I hear you and that douchebag have split up, you looking for a new boyfriend baby?" she could hear a greaser, Ricky, say as he was throwing a nerd into one of the bins. She rolled her eyes and ignored him, walking by them all.
"Well, well, well, isn't it the head cheerleader herself" she looked over to see Gary Smith leaning against one of the lockers. Mandy stopped in her tracks to look at him, she breathed in a deep breath, he annoyed her, he was just... irritating.
"Piss off Gary, I'm heading over to practice where my friends are" Mandy snarked at him.
Gary smirked "Would you consider going back into those toilets with me where we can discuss our friendship?" he replied and moved closer to her, she looked around to see if anyone was watching her talk to this sociopath.
Mandy thought for a moment, God was he attractive "Sorry Gary" she sarcastically said, taking a step back "My list of friends don't include you, the list is mainly Pinky, Christy, Angie, Damon and -"
"Ted?!" Gary questioned and then chortled mockingly "Oh sorry sweetheart, but after your little fiasco with his best friend and the leader of the greaseballs, I doubt he'll be wanting to speak with you at all" he joked and walked past the head cheerleader, heading for the exit of the school as he pulled out a cigarette. Mandy tutted and quickly followed him out of the school, hurrying behind him as he lit his cigarette.
"What happened was a mistake, Ted knows that, and the whole school will know that, so I will be able to fix this" Mandy quickly explained, she hated when someone else was right apart from her, Gary scornfully sniggered "And anyway, you should be thanking me, because if the jocks knew about your little crush on me, I don't think you'd be laughing" she smiled at her own comment. Mandy knew she hit a nerve, as Gary stopped in his tracks and dropped his cigarette. He turned around and took Mandy's hand and quickly dragged her down a few steps around the side of the school, where the boiler room was.
"Or you should be thanking me, because as of right now, I'm the only guy in this place that gives you the time of day" he said as he pushed her against the door of the boiler room, both hands on the door, trapping her in "So you can keep up the bitchy remarks, but trust me once this place kicks off and I take over, you'll want to be on my side." Mandy wasn't threatened by him, she knew how to stick up for herself, especially around Gary Smith.
"I will never be thankful of you, all you've ever done since being here is torture people" Mandy replied to him, getting angrier by the minute "You know where you belong, Gary Smith?" she asked quietly.
"Where?" he whispered back, they were face to face, his dark eyes staring into her light ones, he knew what she was going to say, he just wanted to see if she had the guts to say it.
Mandy gave him a sweet smile "Happy Volts Asylum" she whispered in his ear.
He tried not to get angry at her, he bit the inside of his lip and cheek, trying to stay calm. "One of these days, you're gonna get hurt" he simply said and then dropped his arms to his side, backing away slightly from the frowning girl, he didn't threaten her, which was something he liked, everyone in this dump was afraid of him "This will be a good thought for late at night - pushing you up against a door" Gary smirked at Mandy, who simply rolled her eyes.
"Well erase the thought, because as far as I'm concerned me and Ted will be back together before you know it!" Mandy pushed past him and headed back up the stairs.
"I'll see you at your party tonight then, peachy" Gary replied to her, smirking.
"You were never invited" Mandy turned and barked back. Gary laughed, he was going to that party, whether she liked it or not.
Ted was finishing doing his stretches as Pinky, Angie and Christy walked over to him "Well, well, there's my cheerleaders" Ted joked, finishing off his stretch as he stood up straight to look at the three girls, the three of them giggled and looked at each other.
"Look, Ted, we're sorry about what happened with you and Mandy at the party" Pinky explained.
"Yeah, like you guys were so cute!" Christy exclaimed, putting on a sad face.
Ted sighed and crossed his arms "Where is this going?" he asked. The girls looked at each other and Pinky sighed.
"Okay, look, Mandy is my best friend, and I know how sorry she is, for everything Ted" Pinky started "It's her party tonight and I think she would really appreciate it if you would go, you guys have known each other for ages, it would be a shame if there wasn't at least a friendship out of this, right?".
Ted looked up at the ceiling and then back down at the cheerleader "Is no one understanding that my very first girlfriend slept with two different guys? Why is everyone just expecting me to forgive and forget, and get back with her?" he raised his voice at the girls, but they stayed quiet, he was right and they knew he was right "I might make an appearance, see how I'm feeling" he explained, but he knew he had a study date with a certain nerd tonight.
With that, Mandy walked into the main gym hall, the head looked around and then stopped in her tracks when she saw that the quarterback and her three minions were standing staring at her. She breathed in and fixed her ponytail as she confidently walked up to the group "Hey guys" she smiled, putting her hands on her hips. The other girls awkwardly looked at Ted and Mandy back and forth, as they greeted each other.
"Mandy" Ted greeted her and walked past to meet up with some of the other jocks.
"Well, did you ask him?" Mandy quickly turned around to the girls and Pinky nodded.
"Yeah, he said he might make an appearance, which means in guy terms, he will be coming to your party!" Christy squealed and jumped up as she hugged the head cheerleader. Mandy smirked to herself as she hugged the girl back.
"Tonight is gonna be so much fun" Mandy smiled "And I'll get my boyfriend back and make this right" she happily said, the other girls happily cheered and skipped as they grabbed their pompoms and made there way down to the football field.
"How's it going, Red?" Edgar asked, he was sitting on the couch watching TV as Zoe walked in from the room, she was wearing her new look - a blue denim skirt with flames, fishnet tights and a skull vest top with black knee-high boots. Edgar looked at her up and down, smiling "Damn, looking good" he told her, admiring her. Zoe rolled her eyes whilst chuckling as she noticed something on his face, she immediately walked over and sat on the couch next to him.
"Another fight?" she questioned, touching the cut on the side of his face, which was slowly forming into a bruise.
Edgar let out a chortle "Yeah, well, you should see the other guy" he simply said and took a drink out of his beer as he continued to admire her "So, where you off to?".
"Lola invited me to Mandy Wiles birthday party, this'll be fun" Zoe said.
Edgar raised an eyebrow and sat up a little, confused as he looked at Zoe "Eh, Mandy Wiles? You mean that bitch cheerleader that you were friends with? You guys made up?".
Zoe chuckled "Not a chance, that's why it'll be fun, I don't think she even knows I'm going" Zoe said, laughing as she stood up "Well, wish me luck" she smiled. Edgar stood up with the girl, he placed his beer down on the table as he came face to face with her, smiling as he looked down on her. Zoe's mouth opened slightly as she looked up at him, she felt nervous, but she didn't know if it was in a good way or a bad way. Before she knew it, Edgar planted a kiss on her lips, closing his eyes. Zoe couldn't close her eyes though, she kept them open and slightly backed away from the kiss. Edgar looked at her "Um, Edgar, look...". Edgar's eyes widened as he realized she didn't like it, he quickly backed up away from her.
"Shit, Red, I'm so sorry" he said, feeling the back of his neck out of awkwardness.
"I'm just sick of feeling like some sort of side chick to you, I mean I appreciate you taking me in but have you told anyone about me? I've not met any of your friends and I rarely get to leave this house" Zoe explained, crossing her arms in a huff.
"Nah, Zoe, it's just the guys, you know what they're like, if they find out I'm chilling with a Bullworth Academy girl-".
"Chilling?!" Zoe exclaimed and then scoffed "Just chilling? You have got to be fucking kidding me Edgar" she tried not to shout at him, she grabbed her black jacket and put it on, Edgar tried walking over to her to help calm her down "Don't touch me" she backed away and then picked up her bag and walked over to the door. "You know" she turned around, Edgar looked at her, a sad and guilty expression on his face, "Lola, the new girl, I told her about you on the first day I met her, and you can't even tell one of your friends that you've known for years?".
"Zoe-."
"Forget it, thanks for letting me stay but I can handle this expel on my own, I'll find somewhere else to stay" and with that she slammed the door, she put on her black pointed sunglasses and headed off for Bullworth Vale, where she'll be sure to find Mandy's party.
At around 7:58 PM, Ted heard a knock at his Boys Dorm window, he opened his curtains and smirked slightly to himself to see the blonde nerd standing outside. He opened the window and crossed his arms on the ledge, leaning over to look at her "Can I help you, nerd?" he asked, Beatrice smiled slightly at him.
"Yeah, heard your grades were slipping 'cause you're so dumb" Beatrice snapped back in a joke.
Ted breathed in through his mouth in a 'o' shape "Ooooh, that hurt Trudeau" he slid the window up to help the girl in. Beatrice looked around the dorm room, she had never been in a boys room before, never mind the boys dorm. Ted closed the window and curtains and then turned around, smiling as he noticed her admiring the room, trophies, posters of football stars and jock hoodies everywhere, she then noticed the bed opposite Ted's.
"Who do you share with?" Beatrice questioned, tilting her head slightly, she was worried in case someone found out that a jock and nerd were speaking with each other.
Ted tutted and sat down on his bed, making room for Beatrice to sit next to him "Gary Smith, unfortunately" he replied, "He's hardly here though, never really speaks with the boys apart from that Pete loser."
"Hey" Beatrice snapped back as she sat down, Ted turned to look at her as he started getting his books out "Pete's not that bad."
"What, is he your boyfriend?" Ted laughed, but it was a serious question. Beatrice's eyes widened slightly at the question - oh jeez, this was so embarrassing.
"Actually" she placed her hands on her thighs in awkwardness "No, I've um, never had a boyfriend" she admitted. Ted let out a slight laugh and then realized she was being serious.
"Oh shit" he said, and then looked around, trying to change the subject "So um, I take it you never got invited to Mandy's party tonight?" he questioned. Beatrice tilted her head at him, giving him eyes that indicated 'Duh.' "I might go later, I'm not too sure, I know she's a bitch but I can tell she feels sorry for what she done, her sister came and apologized earlier for her."
Beatrice shook her head in disbelief "Hold up - you're telling me that Mandy got her sister to apologize to you? Instead of her talking to you herself? And you forgave her?" she questioned.
"And what? I've bullied you for years and you're still helping me out, it's not any different from what she done" Ted explained, Beatrice could tell he was a good guy deep down. She simply stayed quiet, remembering the times that his friends picked on her and her friends over the years. Ted ruffled his hair and pushed it back "Look, I'm sorry Beatrice, it was a dick move, I'll stop it and I'll let the guys know to stop it as well." Beatrice looked up at him and smiled.
"Thanks Ted" she replied, they both looked at each other for a slight moment before Beatrice started to flip the pages of the book "Now, let's get studying."
"Hi! Thank you for coming! Happy birthday to me!" Mandy grinned at the people walking through the door. Her house was lavish, one of the biggest houses in Bullworth Vale, and tonight was going to be one of the biggest parties as well. Pinky and Derby walked through the door, Damon and Angie went up to greet the two of them.
"Wow, a lot of people are here" Pinky slightly bit her lip, looking around, most of the people she had no clue who they were, plus most of them were guys "I didn't know that Mandy knew so many guys."
"She doesn't, she just invited a bunch of random guys to make Ted jealous" Mandy's sister Tiffany appeared next to the group, they looked at her and smiled.
"Tiffany!" Pinky and Angie squealed as they gave the older girl a hug. The girls smiled at each other as they discussed their dresses, Bif came over as well and started to conversate with Damon and Derby. Mandy kept walking around, looking for Ted to see if he had arrived yet, she sighed and grabbed a glass of wine and made her way up to her bedroom, where she walked outside to her balcony and stood out, breathing in the fresh air. She wanted to eat, and then puke, but she tried to hold it in, until she heard a male's voice behind her. Gary was standing right behind her, his body pressed against hers, making her gasp a little.
"I've got an idea for a present" he whispered in her ear, Mandy rolled her eyes and then turned around, pushing him slightly away from her but he was a lot stronger anyway.
"You make me sick" Mandy sighed, turning back around to look outside, Gary stood next to her also leaning against the balcony looking out.
"What are you doing here by yourself? It's your birthday party" Gary asked, he was slightly concerned for her, but he didn't show that. Mandy turned slightly to face him and Gary done the same thing.
She let out a sigh "Ted still hasn't appeared yet, the girls were so sure he would be coming, he's never missed a birthday of mine, even when we were friends as kids." Gary let out a snarky laugh as he turned to lean against the balcony. Mandy's face turned into a smile "Ted still loves me" she said, Gary couldn't stop smiling out of laughter, this made Mandy's face drop "It doesn't matter what he is doing tonight, he will show up, he wouldn't miss my birthday, I bet you."
"Fine, if it's a bet you want" Gary started, turning back to her.
Mandy's eyes opened wider "No, no, that's not what I-."
"If Ted doesn't show up tonight, you spend the night with me" Gary smirked, tilting his head slightly at the brunette beauty.
"Absolutely not" Mandy pushed him away slightly as she noticed him getting closer to her.
"That means you're not 100% sure he'll show up then and get back together with you."
"You're gonna lose this bet, Gary, he still loves me" she gave him a smirk and walked past him. Gary smiled to himself and followed her as they exited her bedroom and stopped at the top of her stairs. Mandy looked down at the door entrance to see Johnny, Lola and... Zoe? entering the party. Mandy gasped, her eyes were locked on Zoe.
"You know what guys, I think this was a bad idea" Zoe stuttered slightly, everyone had their eyes on her, the girl who got expelled. Their eyes moved to Lola and Johnny, the girl who slept with three other guys and the guy who slept with the head cheerleader. Everyone was whispering.
Mandy let out a laugh as she looked at them "You have got to be kidding me."
"Yep, definitely a bad idea" Johnny replied to Zoe, but the three of them still entered anyway and headed through to the kitchen to get away from the crowd.
Gary smirked to himself and looked at Mandy "This will be a fun night."
Mandy rolled her eyes, she couldn't believe that the three of them dared to show up "I can't believe that Zoe came to this party, after the way she treated me, my supposed "best friend". And Lola... you know Johnny told me the only reason he got with me was because I look like my sister? He's obviously not over her" The two of them walked down the stairs. With that, Tiffany noticed Johnny walking into the kitchen and he noticed her too.
"Hey babe, give me five" he told Lola, kissing her forehead, the greaser girl smiled at him, not noticing Tiffany, and walked into the kitchen with Zoe. Johnny fixed his leather jacket and walked over to the bleach blonde girl "Tiff."
"What are you doing here, Johnny? My little sister's party, really?" Tiffany asked, crossing her arm as she took a sip from her drink.
Mandy watched from above.
"Look Tiffany, can we go to your room please? I just wanna talk to you" Johnny pleaded, Tiffany thought for a moment and then sighed and walked away from him to her bedroom, gesturing him to follow her. Mandy smirked to herself and concentrated on them, walking down the stairs as Gary followed her behind. Mandy thought for a moment and then reached the bottom of the stairs, she looked around - Angie and Damon were kissing in the corner, the Preppies were all chatting to each other and bitching about everyone, Christy was getting drunk with a few random guys. She looked towards the kitchen where the door was open, she could see Lola and Zoe having a drink and laughing together. Mandy thought for a moment and then turned to look at Gary, who turned and gave her a cheeky smile.
"Tiffany and Johnny just went into her bedroom together" Gary pointed out, and then looked towards the two friends chatting away in the kitchen "I think you know what you need to do to get under those girls' skin."
"And what's that?" Mandy asked, smiling at the smirking heathen.
"Get Lola to go and find those two together in her bedroom" Gary replied, smiling back at her. Mandy looked down, thinking to herself and pouting a little at her thoughts.
"You're a horrible person."
"Yes I am, and so are you, Wiles" he patted her on the shoulder, gesturing her to go into the kitchen "I'll be around, I can't wait for the show."
Mandy walked into the kitchen where it was noisy with multiple drunk groups chatting away and listening to music - she walked up to the townie and the greaser, smiling to them, they looked slightly confused. "What you guys drinking?" Mandy asked, looking down at their cups of alcohol.
"It's, um, vodka, I think" Zoe replied, gulping slightly, she was for sure that Mandy was going to start an argument, but she seemed so calm.
Mandy gave a fake smile to her ex-friend and then turned her attention to Lola "Lola, Johnny wanted me to let you know that he's waiting for you in the downstairs bedroom, I heard he's got something super dirty planned for yous... at least, I'm sure it was your name he asked for" Mandy lied, smiling at the greaser. Lola's mouth opened slightly as she looked at Mandy, then Zoe, then back at Mandy.
"Okay? I'll go see him" and with that, Lola left the kitchen.
Zoe shook her head "What are you doing Mandy?" she asked, looking down at the shorter girl, she knew she was playing some sort of game, but it was hard to guess with Mandy.
"I should be asking you the same question, Zo Zo" Mandy smiled, drinking her wine, Zo Zo was a nickname she gave Zoe when they first became friends "What are you doing at my party? We're not friends."
"And apparently neither is about 60% of the people you invited, Mandy" she snarked back at the cheerleader, "Look, I just wanna talk, please?" she questioned, she felt bored with the arguing and the hating each other, and for what?
Mandy thought for a moment, she looked away and then back up at Zoe "Alright, we can talk later."
"Why later?".
Lola pushed past everyone and made her way to the only other bedroom she could see, the door was shut closed, she smiled to herself and brushed down her leather skirt as she walked in and saw Johnny standing there "There's my man" Lola giggled and skipped over to him, grabbing his shoulders and kissing him.
"Wait, Lola, what are you doing here?" Johnny asked, stopping the kissing, he panicked as he knew that Tiffany was still in the room. Just then, Tiffany walked out of the en suite toilet, wiping her hands down as she looked over at Johnny and Lola in each other's arms.
"Johnny, is this Lola?" Tiffany asked, her eyes widened and Lola stood there in shock, looking at the blonde and then back at Johnny.
Lola started to walk towards Tiffany, angry as she squeezed her hands into fists "What the hell is she doing here?" she questioned, she knew right away this was Tiffany, she seemed like Johnny's type.
"Johnny asked me to come in here" Tiffany explained, looking down at her shoes in awkwardness.
"Just to talk, I swear" Johnny tried to explain to his furious girlfriend. Lola quickly turned her anger on him and stared at him, her eyebrows furrowed.
"You told me you'd never speak to that bitch again!" she shouted at him.
"Wow" Tiffany said in shock "You actually said that, Johnny? Why would you say that?".
"Because you spoke to him yesterday, when you knew he had a girlfriend, you clearly can't be trusted, I mean god don't you know girl code?" Lola shouted at the girl.
"It's not Tiffany's fault, babe" Johnny tried to stick up for her.
"Why are you defending her?" Lola questioned.
"I asked to talk to her, she didn't ask me."
"Oh, so even though you told me you wouldn't speak to her again, you still wanna talk to her?".
"Yes, to explain that I don't wanna talk to her ever again."
Lola rolled her eyes and tutted, looking at them both in disgust. They all turned to look at the door, as Mandy, Zoe, Pinky and Bif walked in "Sorry, are we interrupting something?" Mandy giggled, walking over to the three.
"You told me he was waiting here for me" Lola spat out at Mandy.
"Oops, must've got confused, sorry" Mandy gave a sad pout back at the girl.
"Ladies, can we all calm down?" Gary snarkled as he walked into the room. Zoe smiled at him and he smiled back, the two of them still remaining as friends even after she left.
"Exactly what we need, Gary Smith, the school's psychopath, you here to shit stir like what you were doing at Derby's party?" Johnny shouted at him, walking over towards Gary.
"Mandy, please, stop" Tiffany begged her younger sister as she walked over to her.
"Sorry sis" Mandy gave her an evil, mean-girl smile before turning to her ex-flame Johnny "You wanna tell your new girlfriend? The real reason why you decided to hook up with me?".
"You know?" Johnny asked, looking down at her, in shock.
"Guys, can we just stop fighting, please?" Pinky asked in desperation, standing next to Bif, she was over the arguments. Gary laughed and then walked in front of the preppy girl.
"And you need to stop acting so innocent, princess. Does Derby know about your little crush on Bif?" Gary asked, Pinky's eyes widened in shock.
"H-How- I don't! Why would you think that?" Pinky demanded.
"I saw you both holding hands at Derby's party" Gary smirked, taking a drink as they both stayed in silence.
"And Johnny, so you slept with me because I reminded you of my sister, and then you were flirting with her in the Auto Shop the other day, you should just admit to Lola you're not over Tiffany" Mandy smiled and shrugged, taking a drink.
Lola looked down and then back up at Johnny "Is... is that true?" she asked. Johnny didn't say anything, just stood there in an awkward silence, looking around.
"You know, Tiffany was the co-leader with Johnny of the greasers, well before she left, so no you weren't the first girl either" Gary explained to Lola, smirking.
"We just thought you should know" Mandy gave Lola another fake smile "Before you fall head over heels with the school's playboy, and anyway you weren't too innocent either Lola."
"Ah yes, I forgot, Gord, Tad and Chad - there's too many boys in this world for a slut like you, isn't there Lola?" Gary playfully asked. Johnny turned to look at Gary, he then walked up to him and punched at the side of his head, knocking him over. Some of their peers let out a chuckle, a few others looked in shock.
Everyone had walked out of the room by this point, Zoe came up to the Mandy "Mandy, that wasn't cool" she simply said, Mandy looked at her and rolled her eyes "So can we talk now?". Mandy nodded and the two girls went upstairs to her bedroom "Unless, of course, you just wanna have a bitching match with me again?". Mandy sighed as Zoe sat down on the bed, Mandy went over to her chest of drawers and opened them, she pulled out a box, it looked like a gift box, she went over and sat down on the bed next to Zoe "What is that?" Zoe asked.
Mandy took the lid off and it revealed a few photos of the two girls over the years and a letter "A box I keep, to remember our friendship, as cringe as that sounds" Mandy admitted, she took the letter out of the box and opened it up slowly "This letter... I wrote it for you a few months ago, but I never gave it to you because I thought you hated me."
Zoe looked at her in silence as Mandy started to read the letter.
"Dear Zoe,
I wish I could tell you this in person. Everything is falling apart and you're the only one that would understand.
My mum died last year and I couldn't tell anyone, I felt so angry and hurt, and to make the hurt feel better I started to hurt those around me, including Ted. I slept with Damon, and I've started sleeping with Johnny too.
My eating disorder got bad again, I've been throwing up nearly everyday, but I stop for a few days once I notice the acid staining my teeth.
I'm crying all the time because I don't have anyone to talk to.
You've started ignoring me, my mum is gone, I feel too guilty to speak to Ted.
What happened? Where is the best friend I once had? Why did you stop talking to me without a reason?
You're supposed to be my best friend, I miss you so much, and I hope one day we can fix this.
Love, Mandy"
Mandy looked up and could see that tears were forming in Zoe's eyes. "Mandy, why didn't you come and tell me? I would've-."
"You wouldn't have done anything Zoe, you completely shut me out of your life, that's why I turned into a complete bitch, because if the one person I trusted hated me, then it must've been something wrong with me, right?".
"I didn't know what to say to you... look" she gestured for Mandy to sit on the bed next to her "The reason I distanced myself from you, from everyone, was because..." she gulped as she tried not to cry "Mr Burton tried to touch me up, and for months I thought it was my fault" Zoe explained, Mandy's eyes widened as she too tried not to cry "After that happened, I changed, I didn't trust anyone and I knew if I told you, you'd leave the squad and I didn't want you doing that, that was your dream to be a cheerleader."
"I'm so sorry Zoe" Mandy let out a cry as she hugged her best friend.
"I'm sorry too" Zoe cried back, hugging her smaller friend tighter.
Pinky sighed as she walked through the party, pushing past people, she saw the new boy, Jimmy Hopkins, chatting with Pete and Gary, he must have started his first day today, she caught his eye and could see that he was checking her out up and down. She jumped at the feel of someone taking a light grip of her wrist "Pinky?" she turned to see who was holding her, it was Bif.
"Bif?" she asked, a flush of pink appeared on her cheeks as he looked down at her.
"Is it true? What Gary said? You went really quiet after he said-."
"Stop" Pinky told him "Look, Bif, you're a sweet guy, but I'm with Derby and, no, I don't have a crush on you" she lied, she tried not to look at him though as she could see that that hurt him. A lot. Bif rolled his eyes and let go of the girl, walking away from her. He gave up - why couldn't she just admit her feelings?
"Pinky, darling" she turned to see Derby walking up to her, he had noticed that Bif had just walked away "What did he want?" he questioned, his smile dropping from his face.
"Hey, hey" Pinky said softly, taking his face in her palms to look at her instead "It was nothing, he was just wanting to see if I knew where Parker was, that's all" she replied, giving him a kiss on the lips, he kissed her back more fierce and pulled her closer to him. Once the kiss broke, he smiled at her and grabbed her waist, his grip was so tight on her, it made her squeak out of pain a little as he dragged her to the middle of the Livingroom where other couples were dancing, he began dancing with her, she put her hand on his chest and the other hand on his shoulder, moving closer to him as she smiled. Derby closed his eyes, slow dancing as Pinky looked off in the distance where Bif was staring at her, he could only look for a moment though before leaving - Pinky's smile turned into a frown.
"Am I just a joke to you?!" Lola shouted at Johnny, Tiffany had left her bedroom to let the two greasers talk.
"Nah, Lola, it's complicated, me 'n her, we just have history, alright?" Johnny said, walking towards her and trying to hold her hands. Lola quickly jumped back, not letting him come near her.
"Me and you have history Johnny! We've known each other as kids! No you know what, you wanna play this game? I'll win" Lola snapped at him.
"What are you talking about? Lola, I love you babe" Johnny explained, trying to come closer to his girlfriend.
"I doubt Gord would treat me like this" she simply said - Johnny's heart crack, that hurt him.
"You're my girlfriend... you're my queen" Johnny said, his voice cracked, his heart felt ripped out. Lola looked at him in disgust and tutted, she walked past him, pushing him as she left the room - it was a misunderstanding, but Lola didn't see it that way, and when Lola wants revenge, she'll get it.
Mandy was lying on her bed, side facing as she stared out the window, she was happy to have made up with Zoe, who was now downstairs partying, but she still felt upset - Ted still hadn't showed up at her party, and it was now almost 11:30 PM. She sighed as tears fell down her eyes. She heard her bedroom door opening slowly and she looked down to see who it was - Gary Smith stood at the door, his hand on the handle, he looked at the crying girl for a few moments. Mandy slowly sat up to sit on her bed, wiping the tears "I'm not in the mood Gary, you were right, he didn't show up" she said, fixing her black, glittery dress as Gary walked in and closed the door behind him.
"There's no need to cry over that douchebag" he simply said, walking over to Mandy as he sat on the bed next to her, she could see that he was holding a small red box with a glittery black bow on top. She stared at the box, wondering what it was and wondering why he had brung it in here. "I have a gift for you" he simply said as he opened the small box, inside was a silver necklace, with a small silver butterfly attached, the butterfly had red speckles inside it, Mandy's favourite colour.
"That's the butterfly necklace from the Euphoria shop up town, I've wanted that for ages" Mandy said, startled as she looked at the piece of jewellery, she knew how expensive it was as well "H-How did you know?".
"I just saw it and it reminded me of you" Gary replied, taking the necklace out of the box. He held it on each side and put it around Mandy's neck, clipping it in place. Mandy looked down at it as Gary stroked the necklace a couple of times "It suits you."
Mandy smiled as she looked down, she realized that Ted hadn't ever bought her a gift before, never mind a necklace from her favourite jewellery shop "Thank you" she simply said, looking at Gary.
Gary looked at the ground and then back up at Mandy "I really am sorry" he told her, she looked at him slightly confused "Not just because Ted didn't show up, but for everything, for annoying you and trying to get under your skin" he said softly, looking into her eyes as she looked into his and then down at his lips. Gary took Mandy's hand and she intertwined her fingers in his, he gave her a kiss on the cheek which made her smile more.
Zoe had caught back up with Lola and a few of the others - Pinky, Angie, Christy, Derby and Damon. "Zoe, I'm like so sorry about what everyone is saying about you, and for Mandy as well!" Christy exclaimed, Zoe could tell that the fellow redhead was drunk.
"It's alright Christy, in fact, I made up with Mandy tonight" Zoe explained.
"Oh great, that means we can all hang out again" Pinky said happily and then turned to Lola "I mean, I'm not sure if you can ever make up with her Lola" Pinky questioned. Lola shrugged and took a drink - she couldn't stand the bitch. Zoe laughed at this and then looked at the door, she could see a farmiliar face walk in - Edgar. He took off his motorcycle helmet and noticed Zoe.
"Two minutes, guys" Zoe said and walked over to Edgar "What do you want?" she asked, crossing her arms and tapping her foot slightly.
Edgar chuckled "You were always so cute when you were mad" he replied, "Look, I'm sorry about before, okay? I thought about it and you were right, now me and my friends are having a party just now and I came all the way here to ask if you wanna come?".
Zoe thought for a moment and then smiled, finally he came to his senses. Edgar smiled back and passed her a helmet which she took, they began walking outside together, Zoe waved goodbye to the group of friends, but then she stopped "Oh wait, I gotta say goodbye to Mandy as well" she gestured a two to Edgar before walking back into the party and heading upstairs to Mandy's room. She could hear that there was people inside, so she quietly opened the door, making sure not to alert anyone.
Zoe's eyes opened wide as she saw Gary and Mandy with their tongues down each other's throats, practically dry humping on Mandy's bed. 'Oh my god' Zoe thought to herself, she quietly closed the door again and leaned against the frame, thinking to herself.
Mandy is one silly girl.
