"Today we acknowledge a really terrible loss. Cedric Diggory was as you all know exceptionally hard working, infinitely fair minded, and most importantly a fierce friend. Now I think therefore you have the right to know exactly how he died. You see Cedric Diggory was murdered by lord Voldemort! The Ministry of Magic does not wish me to tell you this. But not to do so I think would be an insult to his memory. Now the pain we all feel at this dreadful loss reminds me and reminds us that while we may come from different places and speak in different tongues our hearts beat as one. In light of recent events the bonds of friendship we've made this year will be more important than ever. Remember that and Cedric Diggory will not have died in vain. You remember that and we'll celebrate a boy who was kind and honest and brave and true right to the very end." Dumbledore says as the group is sitting in the great hall with everyone.

"Do you think we'll ever just have a quiet year at Hogwarts?" Ron asks as he is walking outside with Alexis, Harry, and Hermione.
"No." Hermione, Alexis, and Harry say in union.
"No I didn't think so. Oh well. What's life without a few dragons?" Ron asks as he, Alexis, and Harry look at Hermione.
"Everything's going to change now isn't it?" Hermione asks.
"Yes." Harry says as he puts a hand on Hermione's shoulder.
"But change isn't such a bad thing. Not all the time anyways. Besides we have each other no matter what happens. We'll face it together no matter what comes our way." Alexis says as Hermione smiles and nods before the group begin to walk.
"Promise you'll write this summer. All three of you." Hermione says.
"I won't. You know I won't." Ron says as he laughs slightly.
"I will Hermione." Alexis says happily.
"Harry what about you? You will won't you?" Hermione asks as she looks at Harry.
"Yeah. Every week." Harry says as the group watch the other schools leaving.
