"For the past few months, we've discovered many things about this peculiar creature, very strange things, some of which even we can't be too sure to confirm.
Titanus Pythia can emit and release vapours from her body, not unlike how certain species of frog among other animals would have embedded toxins in ward off any potential threats and predators. She would normally give off about three to four hundred volumes of this particular gas every so often. However, we would soon find out, rather accidentally I might add, that these vapours aren't exactly poisonous or toxic. At least as far as we know, when just yesterday, the containment somehow got breached and some of the gas leaked through our attempted quarantine.
All of us managed to escape back a bit, and by that I mean all but one, as the vapours got to one of our younger scientists and personnel, Kelsey Craig, just aged 30 last month. Without a gas mask of any kind, she banged on the door, begging to be let out, but as much as we wanted to, we all knew doing so could potentially risk another spread and outbreak. I recalled how apparently, about fifteen years ago, a very similar circumstance happened with a nuclear physicist and how he lost his wife in the M.U.T.O. attack in the Janjira power plant.
With drenched eyes and both hands tightly covering her mouth, Kelsey was helpless as the gas slowly enveloped her. Even I feared that she wouldn't be able to last long in there. She just stood, slightly shaking as she waited for death to take her. However, it didn't came, for after at least a minute or two, when she finally gave in and let the vapours enter her, something else happened to her.
To say what happened immediately after was weird would be quite an absolute understatement. Let's just say that the result was more like a mystical acid trip, except none of us took any, I assume anyway. I and a few others were able to look through the glass door and window, and it was like watching into a whole other world or dimension.
Her eyes, her whole face, suddenly went blank. The dim lights' reflection bouncing off her red hair, pale skin and white labcoat gave her an almost alien or phantom-like appearance, as if she were descending into the uncanny valley. Her body stiffened for one second before flowing elegantly, like a ballet dancer on ecstasy. She was then pulled and pushed around across the floor as if that vapour was some kind of spirit or demon possessing her and commanding her every moves like a puppet and its master.
For nearly a second, I could've sworn she was being lifted, levitating, before falling back down and slumping hard to the ground. We were all at a loss of words when we saw it ourselves, and I feel I still am now. It was something you had to definitely see to believe.
After what felt like an infinity passing by at the speed of light, the smokey gases seemed to clear gradually and we soon lifted the brief lockdown. Our team eventually cleared away the escaped vapours and carried off Kelsey, who currently seems to be in some sort of catatonic state due to the exposure and inhalation. As I speak, she's in a personal cell, being tested and observed for any other short-term or long-term effects.
I really hope she'll get back to normal soon from her daze, if she even does..."
