I thought I would just tell, but I have been imagining how Tom looks with how the actor Maxence Danet-Fauvel looks, he plays Tom Riddle in "The House of Gaunt" short film. He is very good looking. Also, I have been thinking of keeping to an upload schedule, my other book is for the middle and end of the month, so I thought of sticking to the 5th and 20th for this book.
I am also, still looking for a beta reader for this story.
Sitting in the Afternoon sun, the two watched as it slowly faded behind the landscape of London towers. The two didn't need to talk, enough had been said the day before. They just enjoyed each other's company for the rest of the day. It wasn't until the two were lying in bed that night, did they have any serious form of discussion.
"Tom?" Harry said softly lying on his looking at Tom who was lying in on his back.
"Hmm?" Tom said turning his head to look at Harry.
"What were you doing today? I mean if it was Death Eater stuff, I don't want to know then…" Harry said trailing off. Tom chuckled at Harry.
"While I did see them, I just told them that they have two weeks before I kicked them all out, so they better have something figured out by then."
"Why did you do that?"
"I don't want our child or you around them, and I'm going to be renovating the place so it's safer and will hopefully feel more homer than it does currently."
"I thought you were living in the Malfoy's manor though?" He asked confused.
"I was in the beginning, but one of my first and most loyal Death Eater left his manor to me in his will. He passed while I was otherwise indisposed, and with no magic or upkeeping, it deteriorated slightly. It's liveable, but I wouldn't even want any pregnant person to stay there. Tomorrow I'm meeting with Abbot's constructing to see what they can do."
"Oh, but isn't their daughter in Hufflepuff?"
"It's a side branch of the family, and the light or dark side doesn't matter when they are the best."
"Oh, okay." Harry was quiet for a little bit. "What am I going to do about schooling? I know I can't even think about going back to Hogwarts, but I don't just want to stop learning."
"Hmm, I'm not sure, you already have your books, right?"
"Yes."
"Then maybe for now you can go over them, and I can help you if you don't understand something, and once the manor is ready, we can look at getting tutors that will be under a secrecy oath. But we can decide later on when everything is ready."
"Okay, we can do that for now." Bringing his face closer to Tom's. Tom completely turned onto his and placed his on Harry's forehead giving it a soft kiss before pulling away and giving Harry a sift smile. This was new to him, he had never done affection before, and he would be lying if he said if he wasn't scared of the future. But he was going to try and let things flow naturally and not restrain himself as he had learnt to. He had never imagined having a family, he hadn't thought it would be possible for him. He was going to give his child everything that he had longed for and even more. And it started with having a good relationship with the person who had been so innocently dragged into this war. He would change his ways or at least try to not be so violent, some things would take a while to break the habit.
The two drifted off to into a peaceful sleep. It was in the early hours of the morning that Tom woke to Harry whimpering and restless movement. Tom pulled him into his chest and held him, not knowing how to comfort someone having a nightmare. Tom pulled Harry even closer to his chest when he started to feel spots forming on his chest. He rested his chin on the top of Harry's head and stroked his back. It was a while before Harry calmed and returned back to peaceful sleep, but tom didn't let go and drifted back to sleep.
Harry woke to find the sun streaming through the gaps of the curtains and lying half on top of Tom. His face was resting on top of his clothed chest, his hand was encased in Tom's and resting next to his face, and his legs were tangled up together with the others. He looked up at Tom, whose nose scrunched up from his hair tickling it as he moved. He noticed that Tom resembled that of himself in the diary, but he looked older, maybe in his early twenties. His jawline looked shaper than what he could remember, but not by much. His cheekbones held the aristocratic highness, and his long lashes fanned out over the top of them, hiding away his dark hazelnut eyes, which sometimes looked like pools of chocolate. Sometimes Harry thought he even noticed red hues around Tom's pupils.
Tom opened his eyes to find those Emerald green eyes he used hated with a passion looking at him, but now they gave him a sense of calm. Harry smiled up at him and leaned forward to press a light kiss against the side of his cheek.
"G'morning Tom," Harry said smiling.
"Good morning to you too." Tom Chuckled at the excitement going out of Harry. "What's got you in such a good mood."
"It's a Saturday, and that means you don't have anywhere to be. We can spend the day together, go out to eat, get to know each other better!"
"Ah! You're lucky then because I was planning on meeting some people today, but I guess it can wait."
"Who were you going to meet?" Harry asked, trying not to sound worried about it being something related to the war.
"A few doctors that I can trust, and someone who I know is a trained midwife and very good at it. But don't worry Harry, it can wait till Monday if that suits yes." Harry nodded his head eagerly. "So, what is it that you want to do today?" Harry sat up from lying on Tom and sat cross-legged.
"I want to Gringotts and get some of my money exchanged, so I can go buy some more clothes. I really don't have anything besides school uniform, and a few other things. Everything I had was old, oversized hand-me-downs."
"We can certainly do that, but you don't have to worry about going to Gringotts. I don't mind paying for your things." Tom said before lifting himself up to lean back on his arms.
"No, I appreciate it, but I want, need to buy something that is mine with my own money, and isn't school supplies!"
"Okay then, but in the future, I can spoil you right?"
"Certainly, plus you're going to be buying the groceries for the apartment, this baby is half yours but living in me." Harry laughed at the look on Tom's face.
"Just no strange combinations, please. I have seen the things pregnant women eat before and it is not something I could ever want."
"Who said you would be eating it, if and when I have any form of craving. Tom, I'm a firm believer of feeding the body what it wants." Harry said smugly.
"Oh, really?" Tom said with a smirk. "Even the things that aren't food, but rather your desire." He said moving forward to whisper in Harry's ear. He pulled away laughing at the blush that took over Harry's face and crept down his neck and under his shirt. "You're easy to tease you know that, right?" If it was even possible, Harry's face got even redder. "What else do you want to do today?" He said changing the topic.
"I was hoping we could go out to eat and try and get to know each other better. I just thought if we are going to be a family, we should at least try before the baby comes. I don't want us to be strangers to each other, and even though you have told me your story, I don't actually know who you are as a person. It goes both ways; I don't want to be dancing around each other, where sexual desires and our child is the only thing keeping us together."
"Are you sure you're 16?"
"Yes?" Harry was confused.
"You sound mature for your age is all I'm saying."
"Well, what do you expect with all the shit you and Dumbledore have put me through." Harry sounded a bit cross.
"I am sorry for that, I truly am, but at the same time it's led to this moment, and I wouldn't change the world if it meant starting a family with you. I don't think I would be willing to change for anyone but you Harry." Tom said gazing into Harry's eyes, making sure the other knew that he meant what he said. "Let's go out for lunch Harry, I know this quiet little muggle restaurant that does amazing food. We can even go do something else after that." Harry nodded his head before leaning forward to put all his weight onto Tom, forcing him to lie back down as Harry clung to him.
It was later in the morning and the two were walking into Gringotts hidden behind black cloaks. When Tom saw Lucius Malfoy in the crowd. He caught the others eye and Lucius froze in place.
"Harry, you go ahead, I saw someone I need to speak to," Tom said turning to Harry. Harry looked behind Tom and saw the blond hair belonging to a Malfoy. He looked at Tom with a questioning gaze before nodding his head. He would ask later in private. Harry headed inside the bank and Tom walked over to the Malfoy and with one gaze he was following Tom into the bookshop behind him. It wasn't until they were in the back hidden between shelves did Tom turn to look at Lucius.
"My Lord, what gives me the pleasure of meeting you today," Lucius said bowing his head.
"Lucius," Tom said looking at his follower.
"Yes, my Lord." He said head still lowered.
"Raise your head Lucius, we are in public."
"Yes, My lord." Lucius said raising his head but still not meeting his Lord's eyes.
"Lucius, I have no time for your games, look me in the eyes when we are speaking!" This made the others ice blue eyes snap to his Lord's brown ones. "I am correct in saying that your wife is a trained midwife and is good at her job?"
"Yes, my Lord, she has started her practice up again now that Draco is in school."
"Good, tell her I will be in need of her services soon." Tom saw the Malfoy mask fall from the man's face for a split second before it was up again.
"My Lord, are you expecting a child?"
"No, Lucius," Tom drawled, "my partner is expecting. By the blessing of Lady Magic this pregnancy has been allowed." Lucius knew exactly what his Lord meant, the child was not planned, welcome, but it was with a male and no spells or potions had been used.
"Yes, me Lord, I shall inform Narcissa that she will be expecting you to call on her. My Lord, may I tell of the news to my wife?"
"Yes, you may, Lucius, I know you two cannot keep secrets from each other. You may leave"
"Thank you, my Lord." Lucius said before disappearing. He hoped this good news would change his Lords approach in the war and go back to its original cause. His love was going to be excited over the news.
Tom met Harry outside the bank. He didn't have to wait long for the other, but when he saw Harry's face coming, his mood dropped. He didn't like the look on Harry's face.
"What is wrong, my dear?"
"My dear?" Harry asked in confusion.
"We are in public are we not? But what has happened to put you in a sour mood?"
"Dumbledore has placed his order everywhere to capture me, I was lucky enough to run into Mrs Weasley who is on my side, but she told me to be careful. Apparently, they are all working extra hours trying to track me down and had even tried to convince the goblins to alert him if I came in, but they refused, saying something about client confidentiality. So, I grabbed more than I need right now and converted a lot into muggle money. I don't think I should be appearing in the wizarding areas for a long time."
"Do not fear, I will keep you safe, I will strengthen the wards on the apartment and make sure that as soon as you can move into the manor, you even, even if the renovation is not complete."
"Thank you, Tom, it really means a lot."
"I would fight the entire world for you Harry." Tom said leaning down to kiss him, he pulled away to see the smile back on Harry's face.
"So, you would even fight your own followers for me?"
"Of course, you are far more important than them. Harry, I have never felt this connected to a person before and I will be damned if I let anyone take it away from me forcefully."
"And what about my feelings?"
"That is different, if you chose differently from what I want, then I will try my best to accept it, but I won't allow any third party to change us."
"Thank you, Tom."
"For what."
"For giving me a choice, no has ever allowed me to control my only life." Tom smiled at Harry and grabbed onto him before apparating them away. They spent the rest of the morning shopping for Harry, and Tom advised him on getting a few pieces of clothing that were larger, for when he started to show, and Harry did not like the sound of that. They stopped at the apartment to drop off everything before they walked to the nearby restaurant Tom had mentioned.
The two sat inside, tucked away in a corner. Hiding from the rest of the world. Harry sat there sipping a strawberry milkshake, and Tom had coffee. Neither knowing where to start. They would want to say something but would stop themselves not knowing if it was appropriate. It was Harry who eventually spoke up.
"Why don't we play 21 questions, I ask you something and then you ask me, and so on." Harry asked nervously, this was his first date ever.
"Sure, we can start there." Tom was relieved Harry had said something, he had never done something like this before.
"What's your favourite colour?" Harry asked one of the most basic questions.
"It was crimson but now I'm starting to think it's emerald-green, the more I look at your eyes, sometimes I even think they are more of a viridian green." Tom said watching Harry turn red, and he was being honest.
"Mine's indicolite blue." Harry remembers the ballgown he saw in a shop window and fell in love with the colour of it, he had sneaked away from Petunia and into the store to ask about its colour.
"That is a beautiful colour. Now, what's your favourite food to eat?" Tom asked
"Treacle tart," Harry said instantly. Tom laughed.
"Well, now I know what to stock up on. Don't let anyone know, but I've found that Pizza is my favourite." Harry burst out laughing.
"You can't be serious, the Dark Lord love pizza."
"I am very serious; I can even make a mean pizza," Tom said, a glint in his eyes.
"I'm holding you to it, you're going to have to make it for me one day." Harry thought for a while. "What do you enjoy doing in your free time?"
"Hmm, I do enjoy a good book, if it's learning something new or reading about someone's research. I also enjoy cooking; it was the first thing I learnt to do after finishing school."
"I enjoy flying and baking, not really cooking, I don't mind it, but after being forced to do it, I rather bake." The rest of their afternoon went peacefully, after their meals had arrived, they continued to ask the other questions before they eventually started talking about the little good memories they had as children. When they finished eating, they spent the evening walking the streets hand-in-hand and window shopping, never noticing the strange or disgust filled looks sent their way. Why would they care what Muggles thought when the wizarding world excepted relationships of all kinds.
Hope you enjoyed the chapter.
I'll put another reminder that I'm looking for a beta reader.
