Here is the next chapter! Sorry for any mistakes, I have a test tomorrow and don't have the time to go through the chapter.

Lucius Malfoy arrived at his manor quickly after he had spoken with his Lord. He located Narcissa in the green room, sipping on tea and responding to letters. Lucius was overjoyed with the news he had been given, it meant that his lord would finely be moving back to his original goal, and not the madness that had plagued him and his family for years. He no longer had to worry about Draco becoming a Death Eater as a punishment for his own failures.

"My love, what has you so excited about?" Narcissa asked, knowing her husband was in a good mood, despite not showing it.

"I have received good news from our lord today," Lucius said.

"Please tell me this is not about Draco, I thought that neither of us wanted to join our lord's league."

"It is not my love. Our Lord is having a child with another, and he wants you to be the midwife" Lucius said pacing slightly. Narcissa was shocked.

"He is having a child?"

"Yes, my love."

"And wants me to be responsible for his partner and child's wellbeing?"

"Yes, my love"

"Oh, Lucius, a child changes everything!"

"You should have seen our Lord today. I have never seen him in such a good mood before. I have hope for the future my love."

"I as well Lucius, this can only turn out for the best."

After their day out, Sunday was spent staying indoors at the apartment. It was the first of September and Harry was anxious as all of his friends, some so-called, were going back to Hogwarts. Harry didn't know if he should feel relieved at not returning, especially after the year he had.

Harry had even glanced at the newspaper that Tom was reading, the Ministry was still denying Tom's return, despite everything that happened. He supposed it was a good thing now, as whatever happened in the future, people would believe Voldemort was dead. Which, in a sense he was, Tom was back, and Voldemort was out.

Tom watched Harry as he anxious cleaned the apartment, he could have done that with magic, but he could see it was Harry's way of keeping busy. He had even watched as Harry reorganised the now shared wardrobe into colour coordination, at least most of his stuff was white or black, so he would find his stuff easily.

He was reading the latest newspaper out, and they were once again badmouthing Harry and Dumbledore, they had played off the whole duel at the ministry as experimentations gone wrong in one of the departments and arrested those who were found "trespassing" that night. Although they weren't in custody for long.

"Harry?" Tom called out.

"Yes?" Harry's head peeped into the lounge area; he had been tidying up the bookshelf.

"Can I have a look at the books you have to read this read?"

"Uh, sure, give me a moment." Harry eventually came through his books and the list of books for his 6th year. Tom looked them over, seeing how the school had worsened over the years. Harry sat next to Tom as he looked over everything.

"Charms, Transfigurations and The Defence Against Dark Arts all seem to have the correct books, but Potions is suspect, although I do believe Severus isn't teaching that subject this year. I cannot comment on The Care of Magical Creatures, as the subject has changed massively since I was in school. Divination is useless if you don't have a gift for it though, and looking at the other subjects that are available, it really is a wonder that school produces some amazing students.

"Now, from what I know, you didn't take Runes, Arithmancy, or Muggle studies and you didn't take any of the other electives, not that many do in the first place."

"How do you know what subjects I take?"

"Draco," Tom said like the one word explained everything. "Now, I feel like if you are going to be learning with me helping you out for the meantime. A new list of books is needed for some subjects, I also think it would be beneficial for you to study some other subjects on the side-line. For now, your Charms, Transfigurations and The Defence Against the Dark Arts books are all adequate so read of those, take your time with them, and if you get stuck, I will answer your questions. I will also look at getting you a second wand that doesn't have the tracking charm for underage magic on it, so you can practice all you like."

"A… Okay" Harry was taken back a bit. No one had ever cared what he studied or gave him any direction on what to do. He had also liked seeing Tom taking charge of what he should do. Not to say he liked people ruling over him, but seeing Tom acting like a teacher, made him feel hot on the inside.

"I'm not stepping over a boundary, am I?" Tom asked hesitantly over Harry's response.

"No, it's just that… I've never really had someone care about me or about my future." Harry wasn't going to admit the other part.

"Oh, So you're fine with me doing this?"

"Absolutely Tom. You're in a teaching mode and it's nice. I think you would have made a wonderful teacher." Harry said grabbing hold of Tom's Hands

"Harry, it means a lot to me that you said," Tom said, looking into Harry's eye, before leaning forward to place his lips slight against the others before moving away and pressing their foreheads together. "Harry, I know it hasn't been long, but ever since that night, I haven't been able to get you out of my head. Harry, I'm falling for you, and I don't know what to do with myself. I've never felt this way before, and I'm loath to admit it, but I'm scared about the future. I don't know whether I can be the person you need, or I can be the father our child needs. Harry I-"

"Tom. I also like you a lot, same as you. I'm also scared of the future, but I don't know why, but if it is with you. I know everything is going to be okay." Harry lent forward to kiss Tom. It was gentle, they were both afraid and new to these feelings that they had. Tom cupped Harry's face deepening the kiss. It didn't let further than kissing but the two lost themselves in each other for a few minutes. Harry pulled back, Tom following him slightly, the two were left gasping for breath.

"I will protect you Harry, as well as our child if the only thing I can do is to show you how I feel."

"Tom, I can only ask that you let me protect you as well." Harry smiled at him.

"I'll try."

The rest of the day was peaceful, Harry was still anxious but not as much as before. He lay with his head in Tom's lap as he read a book on old Irish rituals and runes. Harry glanced every now and then at the book and saw that most of the magic being mentioned in the book was about renewal and blessing things to come.

When Monday came around Harry woke up alone. He slowly made his way through into the kitchen to find a note from Tom saying he had gone to the manor early for a meeting with the contractors and would be back in the evening. The sun was still shinning despite Summer having ended. Harry took the opportunity to move the couch to be facing it full on. He pulled out one of Tom's books on Magical creatures and sat in the sun. Harry eventually fell asleep reading, the book sitting atop his chest as he had moved to lie down.

Tom came back late in the afternoon to find Harry asleep. Tom gently set down the Chinese take-out he had ordered onto the counter. He slowly walked over to Harry and petted his head to wake him up. Harry was startled awake before he realised what or who had woken him up. He smiled up at Tom when his heart had stopped racing.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to startle you. I got us some food before I came back. If you up to eating right now."

"No, it's alright, I'm just not used to waking up peacefully. What did you get?"

"I got a mixture of food, enough for there to be leftovers if you ever need. However, it mainly consists of chow mein and chow faan."

"Sounds good, I haven't had Chinese since I was little, and even then, it was the scraps, but it still tasted good," Harry said, unaware that Tom was making a mental list of everything Harry suffered. He would make sure that those who had intentionally harmed him would suffer a worse fate.

"I must admit it myself that I have only had it a handful of times, and only recently. However, I do enjoy it." Tom said going back into the kitchen to unpack everything as Harry followed him, yawning slightly as he walked. Tom kissed the top of Harry's head before handing him a container of food. Harry smiled up at him, before moving to sit on the counter.

"How did your meeting go?" Harry asked.

"It went well, we discussed the future plans for the manor. The manor itself will be changed to have a lighter interior so it doesn't feel so dark, as well as all the repairs that will be done. I have also decided to move the family wing from the west wing into the south wing. There will be major renovations done to the south wing, as I want them to be larger windows than what is already there, and the layout needs to change for the rooms. I am going to have a nursery put next to the master room, and the heir bedroom will be next to the nursery, as the nursery will have an unlockable door connected to the master room.

"And proper plumbing will have to be done in the wing, as most will have to be ripped out for newer versions. The west wing will then become the guest wing, so bedrooms will be made smaller, and all the runes and charms will need to be taken down, and when everything is finished, I will place up my own over the house and the family wing."

"How long is it going to take?"

"They will start in 2 weeks' time, once everyone is out, and the said it should be about a month the get the south wing done and main renovations, and then the west wing should take 2 weeks."

"What about all your followers that can't find somewhere to go?"

"I'm not sure." Tom hadn't thought about that yet, he hadn't wanted to either."

"Why don't you set up some camping grounds for them, and when the west wing is finished, they can stay there, if they haven't found a place to stay."

"I didn't think you would want to be around them."

"As long as it's not Bellatrix and Peter, then I don't really have any problems with the others," Harry said swinging his legs on the counter as if what he said wasn't a big deal to Tom.

"That will mean a lot to them and me, Harry, I will let them when I see them next."

"So tomorrow?"

"No, tomorrow I am taking you to see a doctor and then once we are back here, I will call over Narcissa, she is going to be your midwife."

"Narcissa Malfoy?"

"Yes, why do you have a problem with her?"

"No, I just didn't know that she was anything else than a lady of a house."

"You will find that most pureblood females will still be qualified in something, as they normally work before their first child, and some even continue doing so after having children if it is their passion."

"Oh, I never knew that. I assumed that because Mrs Weasley just stayed at home, that all other purebloods would do the same."

"Ah Molly Weasley, she is an exception to the pureblood society, in the lesser well-off houses need money then the female will also work, I have never understood why she hasn't gotten a job, considering the size of the family they have raised on a single income. That family does deify all logic when it comes to pureblood families, even if they are marked as blood traitors."

"Why are they blood traitors? I've always wanted to ask, but it felt rude to do so."

"I believe it happened before I was born. They broke a marriage contract with the Malfoy female to marry a lesser-known female. It's rare for the Malfoy's to birth a female, so when they do have one, people normally flock to marry them. A Weasley male had gone to school with her, and they had feelings for each other, but then he fooled around with others behind her back and fell for another woman and cancelled the contract a week before they were due to marry. And since then, they were labelled blood traitors. Now it isn't really a sound cause to label them that, but it was the Malfoy's they offended. All the other houses supported the Malfoy's over the Weasley's."

"Sounds difficult."

"It is. Thankfully marriage contracts aren't as in fashion as they used to be in the wizarding world."

They spent the rest of the evening eating and having small talk. Harry asked about the few creatures he had read about in the book, Tom said that most of them were endangered today, but there were reserves to help them breed and largen their numbers. Harry was nervous for the next day, he was excited to be seeing a doctor for the baby, but whenever he had something good, something went wrong. Lady Magic wouldn't allow that to happen, the child she had blessed them with, would never see a bad day, as long as she could help it.
