Hi, sorry for not updating for a long time, university got hectic and then I had exams, and just as I started writing and planning stuff I lost power for 4 days, so I had to catch up on some stuff this weekend, and while this chapter is about a thousand words short of what I normally like to get out, I'm busy planning the house and it's layout and furnishings because I need some reference with that, otherwise I will forget what half the manor looks like, so I'm busy doing that on the sims at the moment.
But I am alive and will be updating hopefully more often as I am on holiday until the end of February and I honestly don't have much planned with covid and all.
Waking up in Tom's arms Harry flushed as he remembers the events of the previous night. Tom was still asleep, tired from the warding he had done the previous day. Knowing Tom, he probably warded the house to the nines and even further. Letting Tom sleep Harry slipped from his arms and pulled on one of Tom's shirts and some underwear, he went into the living area of the apartment to prepare some breakfast for the two of them.
Today was moving day, and he was sure Tom would be busy today as well, so Harry wanted to make something to keep them both going. He went about making breakfast as quietly as he could, but ten minutes later Tom came through smelling breakfast. He wrapped his arms around Harry's waist and kissed his cheek.
"Morning my love," Tom said kissing Harry's cheek one more time before taking an apple from the fruit basket and sitting down at the counter.
"Morning Tom. I hope I didn't wake you." Harry said with a smile and blush covered face.
"I'm a light sleeper, I was awake the second you started wriggling out of my arms this morning," Tom said watching as Harry's face flushed even.
"Sorry about that."
"Don't be. I am just surprised that you were up and about before me, especially after last night." Tom was starting to think that his new favourite hobby was making Harry blush. Harry turned around and continued to cook while listening to Tom's soft laughs.
They ate breakfast relatively quickly before Tom quickly packed up the items, they would be taking with him. Seeing as how he owned the apartment. He would leave it how it was previously for whenever they needed an escape. There wasn't much to pack up as it was mainly clothing that was being packed up and the rest of Harry's belonging.
Harry didn't feel like getting dressed and Tom said that it should be fine as no one should be in the manor anyways. He was excited to see the manor for the first time, Tom had tried to describe it to him, but he had gotten confused after he had explained the south wing, which was now the family wing, well the second floor was the family wing. He knew there was a west wing and then the ballroom that sound to the east and was made of two floors. But otherwise, he was going in blind to the new house.
By late morning what was needed to go with them was packed and the apartment was looking void of human interaction again. Tom had all their belongings gathered together and he was in the process of shrinking everything and placing the miniaturised boxes into a small box.
"You ready to go love?" Tom asked having finished up with the boxes.
"Yup," Harry said popping the p, he was sitting on the kitchen counter. Tom placed the box under his arm and went towards Harry. He leant forward and grabbed Harry's lips into his warping his free arm around Harry's waist. Harry wrapped his arms around Tom's neck, smiling into the kiss when he felt the familiar tuck at his navel, and he felt like he was being sucked through a tube before he landed on his feet. Tom was holding tight onto him.
"You evil man," Harry said trying not to vomit right then and there. Tom just laughed at him patting his back. When he wasn't busy trying to not puke, he realised he was standing on a large, paved road. Looking up he was meant by the large manor that was a dusty grey colour with black roofing. The lower half was made up of grey bricks while the upper half had been painted a similar, but lighter shade to the bricks. He stood facing the entrance which was the diagonal part of the house that cut across the two main parts of the manor.
"Tom, it's beautiful!"
"But not as beautiful as you, my love." Harry blushed at the comment and chose to look around rather than look at Tom. He noticed the large fountain that stood in the middle of the paved entranceway, it was one big, glorified driveway, but Harry assumed it was for carriages, instead of cars. The fountain sat perfectly in the middle, the centre had a cluster of pixies flying out in different directions and from it was a small child, who was a witch if the wand was anything to go by, dancing admits the pixies, and from the tip of her wand which was held in an outspread arm, the water flowed out.
"Come here for a moment Harry," Tom called to Harry who had been making his way to the fountain. "I just want to add you into the wards so nothing terrible happens to you by accident."
Tom placed his forehead against Harry's and reached out to the wards and added Harry's presence as well as their child's presence to the wards. Harry felt a warm wave of magic pass over him as if welcoming him into the house before he felt a similar yet slightly softer and almost playful warm pass over his abdomen. Tom removed his forehead and the warm feelings left him. With his eyes still closed he felt Tom's lips brush over his.
"Now you can go explore my love unless you want me to show you around?"
"Can you show me around?"
"It would be my pleasure to, love." Grabbing Harry's hand, Tom started to lead Harry through the house tour that would probably take a decent amount of time, given the size of the house and the few secrets it had within it.
Hope you enjoyed the chapter and look forward to the next one, which will probably have a decent amount in it.
Hope you all enjoy your December and just remember that even though it's a stressful season, and times may be tough, it's rather about the people you want to be with and not the materialistic things in life.
