It was a peaceful day at Garreg Mach Monastery. The birds were singing, the flowers were blooming, Ingrid kicked down Bernadetta's door, the sound of fishing-wait what was that last part? "WHY?!"
"Because you can't just be in your room all day today. Now come on, we need to go."
Bernadetta's fear couldn't be more obvious. For today was a day that she dreaded more than anything else.
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!"
As everyone brought out a cake, Bernie just stood there. As though death itself had claimed her and made her an empty husk, "This is the end. I'm truly leaving this mortal plane."
Dorothea giggled, "Bernie, quit being so dramatic. I'm the performer here."
Bernadetta just looked down, "Why are you all doing this for me?"
Byleth poured her a cup of Albinean Berry Blend Tea, "Because we're all very proud of you. Your performance in that last mission was quite impressive."
Bernie shrunk down, "Professor…"
"Also, we wanted to give you some gifts."
Petra gave Bernadetta a box, "I am trustful that this present will be pleasing you."
Bernie opened the box…and saw a dead rabbit inside, "I hope it is to your enjoyment."
Bernie sheepishly put it aside, "Thanks."
Noticing how she reacted to the rabbit, Hubert looked at his own box and threw it out the window.
This was supposed to come out last week, so here's an extra thing for Dimitri
Dimitri was training with a practice dummy, "Hey boar!"
Dimitri turned around and saw Felix holding a box, "Felix, what are you doing here?"
Felix held out the box, "Shut up and take the gift."
Dimitri opened the box and took out a sword, "Wow. Felix. Thank you."
Felix smiled, but dropped it quickly, "Even wild boars deserve something."
He walked off as Dimitri continued to admire the sword. He decided to swing it around a little bit….then broke it immediately.
