Hey guys, thanks for all the support! I'm so surprised and happy people still want to read this story. I hope you enjoy this chapter! xx

Info:

Summary: After 4 years of homeschooling, Isabella Lily-Marie Snape, daughter of Severus Snape and Lily Potter (nee Evans), finally joins Hogwarts in her 5th Year. She is reunited with her half-brother, the famous Harry James Potter, after almost 13 years apart. She must earn the trust of Harry, who is unbeknownst to her existence, while struggling with the prejudices of being a Slytherin and the daughter of Snape.

Timeline: Please note my timeline is a bit off but this is the world of fanfiction so just let it happen. Bella was born on Friday 13th June 1980, and Harry was born 31 July 1981. I just needed Bella's birthday on a Friday the 13th, and she needs to be older than Harry but somehow they are still in the same academic year, so let's just make this work. Pretend Harry started a year early. Also, this Bella is most definitely a Gemini :P
Voldemort's attack date stays the same - 31 October 1981. Harry and Bella were last together in early 1982.

Pairing: Bella x Draco & Bella x Alice (later)

Disclaimer: I own nothing.

Chapter 4: Potions Class

Bella P.O.V

The next morning when I woke up Draco was gone, and I was cuddling a pillow. I sighed before getting out of bed and checking the time.

"Fuck."

Breakfast ends in 15 minutes.

I quickly jumped out of bed and cleaned myself up in literally 5 minutes. I pulled on my school uniform scruffily - one sock up, one sock down. I put on my serpentine gemstone necklace, and left my tie hanging loose around my neck. My skirt was way too short, but I couldn't be bothered. I grabbed my robe and satchel in one hand and put my wand in my right pocket. Once I had everything (at least I hope it was everything) I made a run for it out the door.

I strutted as fast as I could out the common room and to the Great Hall. I made it with 5 minutes to spare. As I ran into the Great Hall I just happened to bump into Harry. I gave him a small smile and opened my mouth to greet him, but he looked back at me awkwardly and quickly said "excuse me" before walking around me. My smile faded as I watched him walk away.

I then turned into the hall and looked around. There were barely any students at the tables, and the few people in the hall were walking towards the exit. l saw Draco by the Slytherin table talking with some other students - 2 burly boys with dumb expressions on their faces. Draco's back was turned towards me. I smiled as I quietly walked up behind him. I put my hands in front of his eyes and leaned up to whisper in his ear.

"Guess who".

I felt him shiver slightly. He swiftly used his hands to remove mine and turned around to look at me. His 2 friends looked shocked and confused but did not say anything. Draco looked into my eyes and smiled down at me. His hands still interlocked with mine.

"You missed breakfast," Draco reprimanded me.

"No, I didn't." I responded cheekily.

I smiled and let go of his one hand, reached onto the table and picked up a juicy green apple. I took a small and slow bite, never taking my eyes off his. I licked the juices off my lips and noticed Draco's eyes quickly dart down then back up.

Draco smirked in response.

Suddenly we heard a cough from one of his friends.

Draco's expression immediately turned mad. He dropped my hands and turned to glare.

"U-uh, it's time f-for class," the one said avoiding eye-contact.

Draco sighed then looked back at me. "We should get going. We've got Potions first."

I rolled my eyes then playfully smacked Draco's shoulder.

"Draco, where are your manners? You haven't introduced me to your little friends." I said in the most sickeningly annoying voice.

The one boy squinted his eyes at my use of the world 'little'.

Draco could see what I was doing and rolled his eyes.

I really could not care less if I were late to my fathers' class.

"Crabbe. Goyle." Draco simply gestured to each of them grumpily.

It was my turn to roll my eyes as I knew I wasn't going to get more out of him. I turned to Crabbe and Goyle with a smile and reached out my hand to shake.

"It's nice to meet you two. I'm Isabella," I said sweetly and they each hesitantly shook my hand, all the time glancing towards Draco.

"Now can we please get to class before Snape takes away my prefect badge?" Draco urged with a pointed look and started leading us out of the Great Hall.

I could not help but smile as I followed after him. It was kind of cute to see how Draco feared my dad. But I knew my dad would never take away Draco's prefect badge. I would kill him if he did.

We walked swiftly all the way to the dungeons, arriving 3 minutes late to potions class. I let Draco enter first. My father glared at us as we entered, it was clear he had already begun his introduction.

"Why are you late?" Sev asked in his intimidating eerie voice.

Draco visibly paled, while I just tried to stop myself from smirking. I answered before Draco could even open his mouth.

"Apologies professor, I was late for breakfast." I started in my fake sweet voice, "Draco was simply doing his job."

Sev squinted his eyes at me then directed us to take our seats. We took the last two seats available, sitting next to each other. I just so happened to be across the aisle from Harry and his red-haired friend. I did not bother looking towards him. I decided to talk to daddy about the situation later.

I took out a roll of parchment and quill from my satchel and placed it on the table in front of me. I realised I forgot my potions book so I just asked Draco if I could share with him. He tried warning me that my dad would not be too pleased, but I just shrugged it off.

After a few minutes of teaching, Sevvy noticed I was sharing a book with Draco. And indeed, he did not look too pleased.

"Isabella," he called my name in that eerie voice again. I resisted the urge to roll my eyes at him. "Where is your potions book?" he asked as he stood right in front of our desk.

"I must've forgotten it in my dorm," I said with a smile. "But it's not like it's a big deal anyway, since I've already done this class."

I heard a few gasps in the class, and everyone was staring between Snape and me.

He looked mad.

"It seems you are not familiar with the way things work here at Hogwarts." He said staring down at me. I was kinda surprised by how intimidating he was acting. "You will report here after dinner for detention."

I looked back at him in shock.

"Detention?! Seriously dad?" I exclaimed without really thinking.

Suddenly there were a lot of more surprised looks on peoples faces in the class. I swear I heard someone whisper "I knew it! Pay up."

Sev did not look happy. He turned to look towards Draco.

"Draco. You are to get Isabella acquainted with the rules of Hogwarts and how we do things in my class." he said staring down at Draco.

Draco nodded in response. "Yes professor."

Sev- err, I mean Professor Snape then turned back to me. I tried to read his eyes, but I could not tell if he was genuinely mad at me or just mad for appearance's sake. Either way, I decided to keep my mouth shut. Once he seemed satisfied that I was not going to say more, he turned back around to continue the class.

I turned towards Draco and mouthed "I'm sorry".

He gave me a small smile in response, then reached under the table to squeeze my hand in reassurance. I smiled back at him. Suddenly he quickly pulled back his hand and started making notes again. I looked up and noticed my dad staring at us. I bushed and looked back down and continued to make notes.
