I just sprayed a shit ton of wasp spray in my room and am now inhaling toxic fumes. *sigh* It's the third one this month! Where the hell are the wasps coming from?! Ah well, you probably don't care about that so on with the story. Sorry for taking so long. (Nobody told me school would be so hard!) -_-

Chapter 6

I rolled over and stared at my new alarm clock. It read 7:20. Maybe, everything was blurry because my eyes are always teary when I wake up. I looked down at my little brother, who had his face buried into my side with his silky long hair across his face. I don't know why he wanted long hair but I didn't really care. It's his hair which means he should do what he wants with it.

I shrugged and slowly closed my eyes. Wait, why was it so bright? I sat up quickly, almost falling off the bed. The clock read 11:34. I franticly jumped out of bed and put the covers back over Haru. He didn't have school today so he could sleep in all he wants. Lucky. I ran into the bathroom and smoothed down my hair with some water. It looked horrible but I didn't really care at the moment. I then threw on a baggy long-sleeve shirt and sweatpants, it actually looked like I was drowning in the fabric. They were Nii-san's old clothes from before that happened.

I tied my weapon pouch around my leg and dashed at full speed to training ground three.

'Wait.' I thought, suddenly stopping and almost falling off the roof I jumped on. 'I didn't have breakfast yet.' I looked around the block I was in from the roof and spotted a empty dango shop across from me. Perfect. I'm already late so what's the harm done?

I chewed happily on my breakfast while casually walking into the training grounds like nothing happened and I wasn't late. Kakashi-sensei was already there, waiting with my teammates who looked downright pissed.

'Oh shit. Please protect me ramen gods.'

"Yo!" I waved casually with a eye-smile, "Sorry I'm late, my goldfish died so I had to bury it, then on my way here I noticed there was a bird stuck in a tree so I put it in a pond."

"..."

"You don't have a goldfish. Thanks for wasting our time." Naruto mouthed at me, glaring. I shrugged in return.

Kakashi's eye twitched before he eye smiled at me with minor killing intent. "That's a perfectly acceptable excuse, Satomi-chan."

I nodded in agreement pretending I didn't see his eye twitch in annoyance again. It was an acceptable excuse, I worked hard on making than one up.

Sensei cleared his throat gaining my other teammates attention who were still glaring at me. Kakashi-sensei pulled two bells and an alarm clock out of his pocket and set the clock on a tree stump.

"The timer is set for two hours. All you need to do is steal these bells from me." The bells clanked together. "If you fail to get a bell within two hours of this exercise, you will get tied to the tree stump and get no lunch. You will also be sent back to the academy." On cue my teammate's stomachs growled. They both scowled at each other and stared anxiously at the bells. Foolish mortals. Wait, I was a mortal too, foolish me.

I sighed before waving my hand lazily and walking away.

"Quitting already?" Sensei taunted with a eye smile.

"I'd rather be sent back to the academy then be the trash who abandons my comrades." I drawled while continuing to walk leisurely towards the exit of the training ground. I turned around to face my new team, with a wide grin on my face. Kakashi was looking at me in shock.

"After all, while it may be true that those who break the rules are trash, those who break the rules are worse than trash." I droned.

Kakashi blinked before eye smiling at us, scratching the back of his head.

"Maa, you guys pass."

"WHAT?!"

This isn't the best writing I've done and I'm considering rewriting this chapter, but I wanted to update this since it's been so long. I'm just stressed out with schoolwork and shit. Happy Halloween!

Tell me what you were for Halloween!

I was myself. (lol)

Stay safe.

Ja ne!
