Aye Merry Christmas. What did you get?

Chapter 9

The boat rocked to the side a tiny bit. My stomach lurched. I continued to bury my face in my hands, like I had been doing the whole ride. Yes. Yes I do have a fear of boats even though I'm a freaking ninja. Don't judge. It's not like I know how to water walk, and what if there's fish that bite in the water. I shuddered at the mere thought.

The complete and awkward silence made everything scarier. Nobody else seemed to think the silence was awkward, though. Naruto was at the bow, vibrating with excitement, mainly because it was his first time seeing the ocean, and partly because he was excited at the though of fighting. Sachi sat to my left leaning onto the boat lazily. Kakashi-sensei and Tauzuna sat in front of us, while his friend sat behind rowing the boat with an old wooden oar.

I would say we should just assassin Gato, but Zabuza and Haku could be guarding him at any moment, then there's just the trouble of going through the rest of his guards. As Shika what would say, troublesome.

The fog was so thick that the only reason I could see Naruto was because of his bright orange jumpsuit. I still question to this day why his parents would let him wear that on a mission. Whatever, it's none of my business anyway.

As we got closer to land, we could see the shadow of the massive bridge looming over us. Naruto, Sachi stared up at it in awe, while I stared up at it like it was normal. I mean, it kind of was to me. The sky scrapers in Tokyo are taller than the buildings in Ame, I think. I've seen plenty of bridges just as big as this. But, I really was impressed because this world didn't have as much advanced technology, and the fact that they built this huge bridge, just wow. Awesome!

The boat tipped slightly to the side again. I threw up in my mouth. It tasted gross, I just thought you should know. :D

Before we got to the pier, Sensei questioned Tauzuna more about Gato and why he was after him and other stuff. I don't remember much else. I was scared of falling out the boat, which caused me to cling to the person nearest to me, Sachi, like a leach, and probably ruin the pride of the Uchiha clan, while he awkwardly patted my back. May my ancestors weep in sorrow. I never really saw the point in clan pride anyway. Just pull the sticks out of your butts and talk it out whenever you have problems. We could have avoided many wars if people would just talk.

I leapt out of the boat and crashed onto the ground, ignoring the weirded out looks from my Sachi and Sensei. If anything, they should be used to my weirdness by now.

"I've been taking living on land for granted this whole time." I whispered to nobody in particular, wide eyed and stroking the ground as I looked at it lovingly.

"Okay I think that's enough craziness for now," Naruto chirped as he pulled me up into a standing position, shooting me an annoyed look as I slumped onto his side. He pushed me off him in return.

"You're no fun." I pouted, as I got back in my spot to guard the bridge builder again.

"And you're insane," he retorted, smirking.

"Touché."

Wow. Roasted.

We survived Zabuza.

Believe it.

It didn't go exactly like cannon. But we still made it. Sachi was included in the plan. We were surrounded by clones while Sensei was caught up in the water ball jutsu, Naruto went with his own plan and threw the huge shuriken thingy while Sachi and I covered for him and held off the clones. There were a hella lot of clones too.

I mean I'm honestly kind of jealous how they can make that many clones, but I have a bloodline. If I ever awaken it. Actually never mind I don't want to faint after every time I use it, like Sensei. As far as I can tell, the amount of chakra I have is average and Naruto has over a hundred times more than I do.

I watched in amazement as Sachi healed Sensei, replenishing a good third of his chakra and healing the rest of his injuries a little bit, bright green eyes narrowed in concentration while pastel pink strands of hair fell in his face.

Sachi sighed in relief as the chakra faded away when he pulled his hands away.

"Is he going to be ok?" I asked frowning slightly at the obvious signs of exhaustion on Sachi's face.

'It must have taken almost all of his chakra to heal him.'

"He'll be fine." He beamed, a gentle smile on his face. I grinned back.

So sorry for the short chapter. It took me a really long time to write this, as I was busy with school.

Also I haven't really described how the characters looked in this story yet.

Naruto looks the same as canon but a few inches taller (since he wasn't living off only ramen) and his hair is a tiny bit longer.

Satomi has long spiky hair that she likes to keep in a ponytail. She usually just wears a shirt and sweatpants when she isn't on a mission.

Sachi has slightly spiky/wave pastel pink hair with a few darker pink streaks. His hair is around the same length as Minato's hair. He wears a red t-shirt with the Haruno clan symbol on the back, with jounin pants and black sandals. His strengths are high intelligence, strategy, chakra control, taijutsu, and a little bit of medical ninjutsu.

As for pairings, I've thought about it a lot and I'm not sure who to pair, I'll leave it up to you. Tell me what you think in your review and Thank you for reading and stay safe!

Ja Ne!
