"Seth, that traitor!" Dr. Z scowled as he walked with Gabriel and Rod in Zeta Point's hallways as the ship completely shed its island facade. "First, he betrays me, then he has the nerve to challenge me! There's no way he'll get away with this!"

"But he already kind has, Grandpa, and you didn't even know anything about it," Rod pointed out.

"I suppose that's true. I'm just too trusting," Dr. Z said in a lamenting tone before it turned into a growl, "And thanks for pointing that out to me, Rod!"

"You're not the only one. Seth played all of us," Gabriel pointed out. "I was working in the lab with him and I still didn't know what he was really planning."

"Dr. Z!" Ursula, Zander, and Ed called as they ran up to him.

"Hmm? So, what's he up to now?" Dr. Z asked the trio.

"He's in the lab playing around with that petrified Tyrannosaurus fossil that he seems to love so much," Ursula told Dr. Z. The trio had orders from Dr. Z to locate Seth and spy on him until they knew what he was up to.

"He was having so much fun in there, that I don't think he even noticed us spying on him," Ed added. Gabriel stared blankly at the floor.

"This is all my fault," Gabriel admitted. "I don't know what his plans are for that fossil, but I'm the one who went out and got it for him."

"Yeah, know that I think about it, why should we be trusting you?" Ursula asked Gabriel.

"I know I was like really close to Seth, but please believe me. I had no idea that this is what he was working on," Gabriel pleaded.

"But how do we know that's not a lie?" Zander asked.

"I joined you guys originally because I wanted to serve justice to those kids because I was told that they were stealing the cards from Dr. Z," Gabriel said. "Maybe that's not even true anymore. How do I know, I can trust you guys? I couldn't trust Seth. How can I trust you?"

"If you trust us, why don't you just leave?" Ursula rolled her eyes. Gabriel was shocked that she had actually suggested it. After some thinking Gabriel had a decisive look on his face.

"Maybe I just will," Gabriel said to Ursula in a heated moment of argument before turning and leaving. Nobody in the Alpha Gang even tried to stop him.

"That really just happened?" Zander asked.

"Yeah," Ed confirmed. Both boys sounding shocked that Gabriel just walked out on them.

"Anyways, Dr. Z. I think now would be the perfect time for an attack on Seth!" Zander told the scientist.

"Let's do it!" Dr. Z scowled. "He's about to find out what happens to someone who betrays Dr. Z!"

Meanwhile in his lab, Seth was working with the Tyrannosaurus fossil that Gabriel had recovered for him. He was laughing all maniacal-like.

"That's it, come to life!" Seth said aloud. "We'll go down in history together, the history of dinosaur evolution!" Suddenly, the door to his lab burst open with reveal Dr. Z, Ursula, Zander, Ed, Rod, and several Alpha Droids.

"You rotten traitor!" Dr. Z yelled. "Zeta Point is my island and I won't stand for what you had done one moment longer! You're going down!"

"You're going down!" Ursula, Zander, Ed, and Rod echoed. They went to make an advance towards Seth when the floor below them suddenly opened up and they all fell through. The group landed in piles of trash.

"What's this?" Dr. Z asked angrily.

"It's gross!" Rod replied. "We landed in the garbage chute!"

"Which fool said something about going down?" Dr. Z yelled at the others.

"Well, let me think," Ursula said with a bit of a condescending tone.

"With all to respect, I think it was someone with the last name of Z," Zander poked up from the garbage with a pencil stuck up his nose.

"Are you suggesting it was me?" Dr. Z hissed.

"It must've been Rod," Ursula, Zander, and Ed sighed.

Meanwhile at the D-Lab, Reese was trying to get communication to Zeta Point, but she was having no luck doing so. She turned to the D-Team, Dr. Taylor, and Laura.

"Once again, communication with Zeta Point is being blocked," she informed.

"Which makes tracking down a moving target that much more difficult," Dr. Taylor added.

"I hope Grandpa and the others are okay," Laura said with a sigh.

"You don't have to worry about that, Laura. They've got Rod with them, so they should be just fine," Max told the young girl.

"Yeah, you're probably right." Laura sighed.

"Protecting us? From what?" Rex's booming voice interrupted the other half of the room's conversation. So, they all started to be quiet so they could listen in.

"What did we need protecting from?" Ren asked in the same furious tone as Rex. Both siblings were addressing Johnathan. "We could've handled ourselves!"

"What are you saying Johnathan? How could you be protecting us when you don't even know who we are?" Rex questioned further.

"Rex? Ren? Are you two okay?" Max asked.

"Stop trying to be all mysterious, Johnathan! We want answers and we want them now," Ren hissed at the android. Johnathan simply blinked in response. Ren sighed in frustration.

"Now that I have my head on straight, it's coming back to me. I was a butler working for your parents," Johnathan stated. Rex and Ren exchanged glances. Parents as in, their actual parents? "That's right! And as their butler, I sent sent here under strict orders to find you and watch over you, Master Rex and Mistress Ren."

"Huh?" Ren asked.

"Watch over us?" Rex questioned.

"Can you remember any more than that, Johnathan?" Ren asked.

"I come from a time more than a hundred years from now," Johnathan said. "The fact is, I have been sent here from the future." The once again earned a glance of shared confusion between the Owen siblings. "And Miss Laura has come from the future as well," Johnathan stated before he turned and looked at the girl.

"No way!" Zoe exclaimed as everyone in the room then turned and looked at Laura.

"But how is that possible?" Dr. Taylor asked.

"We came here on a time machine," Laura admitted.

"What?" Max asked in astonishment.

"Is this some kind of joke?" Zoe asked.

"Zeta Point itself is really a time machine," Laura admitted further.

"What?" the entire D-Team, plus Dr. Taylor, all gasped.

"That island we were on?" Max asked.

"I can't believe it!" Dr. Taylor exclaimed. "From the future, but how can that be?" Max suddenly grabbed his head and wailed in agony.

"I don't get how any of this can be! It's just not possible!" Max said through his oncoming headache from trying to comprehend everything.

"Master Rex, Mistress Ren, your father is the preeminent expert on dinosaur research. His name is Dr. Ancient. He works with your mother, who is his coresearcher, Dr. Cretacia," Johnathan told the siblings.

"You're telling me that they were both paleontologists?" Rex asked.

"I want to know the coincidence behind that you still ended up with a paleontologist, and I ended up with a couple of real estate agents but still found a dinosaur," Ren commented.

"That's right, they were both paleontologists. It's all coming back to me now, so allow me to start from the beginning," Johnathan said. "And where this story begins is just before you were born, Master Rex. The year was 2126, Dr. Ancient and his team were working at an archeological dig from the Cretaceous period when they discovered something in the soil formation."

Dr. Ancient and Dr. Cretacia were digging in the soil, when all of a sudden, one of their shovels hit something hard. The two paleontologists brushed away some of the access dirt, and unearthed what are now known as the stones, complete with a center piece that hasn't been seen before.

"It's some sort of lithograph," Dr. Ancient told his wife.

"It turned out to be a discovery beyond their wildest imagining," Johnathan narrated.

Dr. Ancient and Dr. Cretacia took the stone tablet back to their lab to begin their research on their newest finding. They placed it in a machine that was able to generate a sphere in front of the two. Looking at the sphere, there were dinosaurs of all kinds huddled in together asking them for help. The Ancients could only blink in astonishment at their find.

"I bet it's the same voices we heard!" Max exclaimed.

"I'm sorry, what?" Ren asked Max.

"Right, you weren't there, and you kind of needed a dino holder anyways," Rex told his sister. "This was before we met you. Reese made a translator for the dino holder, but every time we tried to use it, all we heard was the dinosaurs asking and begging us for help."

"That's not creepy at all," Ren commented.

"Wait, you mean they found this?" Zoe asked as she took her stone out of her dino holder.

"Precisely, but that's just part of the stone tablet that the Ancients had found," Johnathan told Zoe. "The original stone consisted of parts that represent six different elements, and it had a centerpiece that would bind them all together."

"So, seven pieces altogether," Ren stated.

"Correct," Johnathan said.

"So, what's the purpose of the stone?" Rex asked Johnathan.

The Ancients continued to listen the to the cries for help from the dinosaurs inside the floating orb until one of the voices rang louder than the others, "We have suffered hardships for a very long time before finally settling on this earth and living in peace. And now, we are afraid once again." The orb shifted to show a meteor picking up pace and zooming towards Earth. "Something terrible is going to happen unless we do something about it. The sky, the ocean, the land, all life will perish. Please help us." The orb then showed the meteor crashing and Earth being blown into bits. "You have to help us, you have to. Please?" Suddenly, the orb vanished. At first, Dr. Ancient and Dr. Cretacia were shocked.

"Could they be dinosaurs?" Dr. Ancient asked his wife.

"I think so," Dr. Cretacia theorized. "It's possible that we were hearing what they were feeling as the neared extinction."

"They must be something we can do for them," Dr. Ancient stated.

"You're right," Dr. Cretacia agreed.

"They both agreed to do whatever was possible to help the dinosaurs, and took immediate action," Johnathan narrated.

"The power within that stone was beyond anything these two scientists could've anticipated," Johnathan told the D-Team. "After many tests, they learned that they could use that power to create a time machine, and then travel back and forth through time."

"What?" The D-Team asked in unison.

"They realized that if they could travel to the age of dinosaurs, then they might be able to rescue them," Johnathan continued to narrate the story. "They were excited about this idea and began work to build it. It was one year later on Christmas Day, that the time machine was completed and was ready to embark on its maiden journey. I packed my bags and helped the Ancients prepare for the trip. Involved in the project was their gifted assistant, Seth, along with another paleontologist, Dr. Z and his three assistants, Helga, their maid, and Dr. Z's two grandchildren who couldn't dare to be left out of such a spectacular voyage."

The ship the took off. Each person, besides Helga and Johnathan who were operating the machine, had their own tube to lay in for safe travelling through the time-space continuum.

"Filling with anticipation, we boarded the time machine, strapped ourselves in, and hoped for the best. And that is how we headed for the age of the dinosaurs." Johnathan once again narrated.

The ship flew off and disappeared into the sky as it began to travel through time.

"Wait a minute, hold on," Max interrupted. "What about Rex and Ren?"

"Oh, yes! Little Mistress Ren may have been too young to remember, but she too was on this fantastic voyage with us," Johnathan said. "Just being born just a few months prior to the journey."

"No way," Ren was astonished.

"So, what about Rex?" Zoe asked.

"She didn't know it at the time, but Dr. Cretacia, your mother, Master Rex, was carrying you inside her. You were not born yet," Johnathan told the boy.

"I can't believe it," Rex commented.

"So, you went to the dinosaur age?" Zoe asked.

"Yes, we reached there safely," Johnathan told the kids.

Zeta Point floated over dinosaurs that freely roamed the landed below. The Ancients have been able to cage an Allosaurus. The fearsome dinosaur roared at the Ancients for keeping it locked up. The Allosaurus glowed a light blue, reminiscent of wind elementals, before it transformed into a card.

"We stayed there while the scientists continued further research. Somehow, they succeeded into turning real life dinosaurs into cards. Meanwhile I was ordered to babysit Mistress Ren while her parents were busy with their work," Johnathan narrated further. A beam shone down on the Allosaurus card, and it returned back into its full-size self with a mighty roar.

"We've done it, Cretacia!" Dr. Ancient cheered.

"We sure have!" Dr. Cretacia smiled at her husband.

"With this technology, they hoped to transport the dinosaurs home in order to save their species from extinction. So, they turned dinosaurs from various ages into cards, but a problem arose," Johnathan once again narrated.

"Finally!" Dr. Z cheered with his new invention, stemmed from the Ancient's research about dinosaur cards. "My move card is now complete!" Ursula, Zander, and Ed all clapped for the old scientist.

"Let me be the first to congratulate you," Ursula told Dr. Z.

"Now the dinosaurs will be even more powerful! You're brilliant!" Zander exclaimed.

Dr. Z laughed as he stared at his new move card, "And Ancient's a fool!" The group now known as the Alpha Gang decided that they were going to see their new move card work as they found a wild Styracosaurus and Saltasaurus and made them battle. They cheered from the sidelines, and the noise attracted Dr. Ancient who was horrified that they were only interested in seeing dinosaurs fight for their own enjoyment.

"What's going on here?" Dr. Ancient asked. "I want it stopped immediately!"

"It's nothing, really!" Ursula piped up.

"Just an innocent, little scrimmage," Ed added.

"Could I interest you in some tea, Doctor?" Zander asked.

"No," Dr. Ancient started, but Zander put his hands put Dr. Ancient's shoulders and began to lead him back towards the ship. "Let me go!"

"Just wait until he sees what I'm really planning," Dr. Z scowled once Dr. Ancient was out of hearing range. "I'll turn all dinosaurs into cards, and then I'll create my own dinosaur kingdom! I will become Dinosaur King!"

"Dr. Z's diabolical plan severely delayed our work. Dr. Ancient and Dr. Z were at odds the whole time," Johnathan told the D-Team. "The card conversion was only supposed to talk two months, but after six months, we were only 10% completed. Thanks to Dr. Z's defiance, the delays brought upon us another unexpected issue."

"Like what?" Rex asked.

Dr. Cretacia dropped to her knees while holding her stomach. Dr. Ancient was quick to be by his wife's side. He was worried as he was not aware of what was going on.

"Cretacia, what's wrong?" Dr. Ancient asked. Dr. Cretacia just gave her husband a smile.

"It's the baby, sweetheart. I'm afraid it's going to come and soon," Dr. Cretacia replied.

"How soon?" Dr. Ancient asked in a shocked state of mind.

Rex gasped at this new bit of information. Johnathan couldn't help but give a lighthearted chuckle at the boy that was the new issue of the story.

"That's right, Rex. It was you! And apparently you wanted to come out and join us," the android told Rex. The rest of the D-Team gasped in awe of the story.

"Dr. Ancient and Cretacia were planning on heading back to the future for the baby's birth and to resume the project back home," Johnathan continued narrating once more. "But when they let the team know,"

"We are not going back to the future!" Dr. Z cried to Ursula, Zander, and Ed.

"We're not...?" Ursula asked Dr. Z with an unsure tone of voice.

"No, this spells trouble for us. Ancient wants us to return to the future, just so he can kick me off of the team," Dr. Z told his three assistants.

"Apparently we're not the only ones who find him annoying and distasteful," Zander whispered to Ursula. However, it wasn't silent enough for Dr. Z not to hear what he said.

"Excuse me? What was that?" Dr. Z screeched. Suddenly, Dr. Z hatched a diabolical plan. One that would ensure that they stayed in the past forever. "I got it! We can't go back if the time machine is broken." Ursula, Zander, and Ed just blinked at the old doctor, but Dr. Z was gone before they could say or do anything else.

Dr. Z ran straight into the room with the time machine, the part of Zeta Point that Seth had taken over as his own lab. Dr. Z picked up a wrench that was lying near the time machine and held it into the air. However, before he could swing down and destroy the machine, a hand stopped his arm.

"Hey," Dr. Z pouted.

"They'll know that you were responsible that way," Seth, the owner of the hand responsible for stopping Dr. Z, said.

"So, then what?" Dr. Z asked Seth. Seth casually walked over to some controls and began to type in some code. In no time, the lights in the room turned red and an automated voice rang out throughout the space.

"Alert. System Failure. Alert. Control Data has been deleted." Seth had sabotaged the controls of the time machine. He looked over his shoulder at the doctor with a smirk. Dr. Z was impressed and returned Seth's smirk.

"Seth!" Dr. Z cheered.

"Unbelievable!" Max exclaimed

"So, it was Seth and Dr. Z who destroyed their own time machine?" Zoe asked Johnathan.

"Yes, Zoe, and because of that, we were all trapped in the Cretaceous Period, which is where Master Rex was born," Johnathan replied. Rex could hardly believe what he was hearing. Born during the Cretaceous Period?

"You look good for being over 65 million years old, bro," Ren nudged her brother jokingly.

"Tell us more," Rex told Johnathan, ignoring his sister.

"Your mom and dad were very proud of you. They knew you would grow up loving dinosaurs, which is why they hung that ornament around your neck," Johnathan said as he pointed to the Tyrannosaurus tooth around Rex's neck.

"So that's where it came from," Rex said as he stared at it.

"Pfft, okay Mom and Dad, thanks for loving me and giving me something cool," Ren huffed.

"Your parents also loved you dearly, Mistress Ren. They spent as much time as they could with you both," Johnathan assured.

"I still can't believe you're the same people at Baby Ren and Rex!" Laura exclaimed.

"Ew, no, that just made me feel weird hearing you say that." Ren told Laura as she squirmed. "Because that means you're technically older than us."

"Ren, why'd you have to say that?" Rex complained.

"It was then after Rex's birth that the Ancients secretly summoned me," Johnathan said.

"At this point, they knew that they were in danger and needed me to protect Mistress Ren along now with Master Rex at all costs. They requested that I return with the children to their home world, in case of an emergency," Johnathan narrated once more. "And their concern became a frightening reality."

Dr. Ancient and Dr. Cretacia were working on repairs for the time machine so that they could get back to the future as soon as possible. Meanwhile, Dr. Z and Seth spied on them from the doorway.

"I'd wish that they would stop working so quickly on those repairs," Dr. Z told Seth. "Once that time machine is fixed, my plans are ruined."

"There's nothing to worry about, Doctor. I have a plan," Seth assured.

"Which turned out to be a dreadful plan," Johnathan narrated to the D-Team. "Once all the repairs were finished, we were taking the time machine through its final warp test."

While everyone was inside of their tubes, including the baby Rex and the infant Ren, Dr. Z woke up inside of his tube and opened it. Seth watched from his tube as Dr. Z got out of his tube and waltzed over to the Ancients. Little did Dr. Z know, there was another pair of eyes watching him come closer.

"I still have things to do in the age of the dinosaurs. So, if you want to go back, you can do so on your own!" Dr. Z hit a button that ejected Dr. Ancient and Dr. Cretacia into the time-space continuum. They woke up after it was already too late. Ren started crying loudly upon watching her parents disappear.

"What have you done?" Dr. Ancient asked, though Dr. Z was now too far away to hear him.

"Oh no! Ren and Rex are still in the ship!" Dr. Cretacia exclaimed. Because of Ren's crying, Rex also then started to cry along with her. At this point, Seth had gotten out of his tube and was about to eject the two babies when Johnathan came over and tackled Seth to prevent him from doing so.

"Get your hands away from them!" Johnathan told Seth. Seth and Johnathan then had a battle of strength with the sibling's fates as the end result.

"Hold onto him, Seth!" Dr. Z told his newest assistant. The old scientist went over to Ren and Rex and was about to eject them himself. Johnathan, however, broke free from Seth and body slammed into Dr. Z, causing the old scientist to bump into the console in the middle of the room holding the stone tablet. The tablet broke off into its separate parts and the two siblings ended up getting ejected from the ship.

"Mistress Ren! Master Rex!" Johnathan called as he held onto the two capsules, one under each arm. However, Johnathan wasn't strong enough and the two capsules with the kids slipped out of his grasp, each heading a different direction, while Johnathan got sucked up somewhere else. "No! Ren! Rex!" Johnathan called before the two capsules faded from his view and he ended up somewhere new.

Rex and Ren stared at Johnathan. Had their first early moments actually been that traumatic? Both siblings were lost for words. What do you even say to follow a story like that?

"Rex... Ren..." Max started. "This is all thanks to the Alpha Gang."

"It's terrible!" Zoe exclaimed.

"So, what happened to our parents?" Rex asked.

"Are they here somewhere? Like in this timeline?" Ren asked.

"I'm sorry," Johnathan said. "I don't know. My memory bank doesn't hold any more information than what I just told you."

"What?" Rex asked.

"No! There's more! There has to be more! Johnathan, tell me there's more," Ren told the android.

"I'm sorry, Mistress Ren. There's not," Johnathan told the girl.

"They're still alive. I know they are, you guys. We're going to help you find them!" Max said with determination.

"Max and I are here for you both, so don't you ever forget that!" Zoe told them.

"I promise you; I never knew that Grandpa and Seth did that!" Laura told Ren and Rex. "When we woke up, we were in this time period and on that island, and they never told us where your mom and dad went."

"You know, this is all very interesting. Rex was found about 12 years ago in New York City by Dr. Owen," Reese said.

"And my parents said that I was practically on their doorstep in California, also 12 years ago. Then again, their doorstep could've just been the beach because the first house I remember was right along the coastline," Ren said.

"You know, I just don't get it," Dr. Taylor said. "Seth, we know Dr. Z is a piece of work, but why was Seth involved with the plan?"

"I know why," Max growled. "It's because he was trying to reengineer all those dinosaurs. I think he wanted to create a new species."

"Possibly," Johnathan replied. "But the fact of the matter is, I don't know what Seth was thinking, and I doubt any of us did. Seth was incredible quiet and tended to keep to himself. He kept his distance from us and the Ancients."

"Yeah, and Dr. Ancient used to get mad about that!" Laura piped up. "He used to scold Seth all the time for going off and doing things on his own. I remember one time when they were arguing."

"How dare you try and manipulate dinosaur DNA behind my back!" Dr. Ancient scolded Seth as Laura snooped in from around the corner. "I did not approve this, it's immoral! We're talking about the history of evolution! There should never be human intervention."

Seth just merely chuckled at Dr. Ancient, and did not say anything back to the dinosaur scientist.

"I remember the coldness in his eyes," Laura narrated this time. "I should've known right then and there that Seth was up to no good!"

"It's okay, Laura," Rex told her.

"We know now. And because knew know now, Seth's going down!" Ren said. Suddenly, the automatic door to the D-Lab opened, making the entire group turn their heads towards the newcomer.

"Gabriel?" Max, Ren, Rex, Zoe, and Laura all exclaimed in unison. It was indeed Gabriel, but there was something new about him. He dyed his hair to be a dark brown.

"What are you doing here?" Max questioned.

"What's up with the new hair color?" Ren asked unamused.

"Look, I know I'm like one of the last people you probably want here but trust me I didn't come here for a fight," Gabriel told them.

"So why did you come here?" Zoe asked.

"I wanted to say that I'm...," Gabriel started but then trailed off with a pause. "Sorry. After looking back at everything, I now realize that I was maybe on the wrong side of things."

"Why should we trust you?" Rex asked Gabriel.

"Look kid, I'm being open and willing to give you guys a shot. Right now, Seth is our common enemy. I have information, are you going to take my help or not?" Gabriel asked.

Back on Zeta Point, Seth was doing some finishing touches on his research. In front of him was a black Tyrannosaurus with orange and yellow splotches all over it. All of a sudden, one of the walls burst open. As the smoke cleared, Dr. Z, Ursula, Zander, Ed, and Rod were standing there with Tank, who was the one who knocked down the wall.

"Way to go, Tank!" Rod cheered.

"I should've thought about this earlier," Zander admitted as he held the Alpha Scanner. "Well, better late than never."

"Yay," Ed cheered meekly.

"Let me know when you're done rubbing yourselves on the back!" Dr. Z yelled.

"Ok, we're done," Zander and Ed said quickly.

"Hey Seth!" Dr. Z hollered for the lab assistant. "Now you're going to pay even more for what you've done to me!"

"Tank, here we go again," Zander said. "Alpha slash! Saichainia, shake 'em up!" Tank appeared ready for battle against Seth. However, Seth summoned a dinosaur of his own, Saurophaganax.

"Destroy everything in your way, Saurophaganax," Seth told the fire dinosaur. Saurophaganax roared before it charged at Tank and flipped her over and sent the poor Saichainia straight into the nearest wall.

"Rod, use your card too!" Dr. Z told his grandson. Rod pulled out an Alpha Scanner and a dinosaur card.

"Alright. Alpha slash! Go, Allosaurus!" Rod called as he slashed the wind dinosaur. Allosaurus ran up to the Saurophaganax, who was about to attack Tank again, and kicked it on the side of its head. "Mayfly!" Rod called and he swiped the move card. The Allosaurus began to run around the Saurophaganax quickly, attacking it from all directions. The Allosaurus skidded to a halt and Saurophaganax fell over onto its side.

"We did it!" Dr. Z, Ursula, Zander, Ed, and Rod cheered.

"Fire Scorcher!" Seth called as he slashed his move card. Saurophaganax use the devastating move once again. The ball of hot fire and magma raced towards Tank and Allosaurus. The powerful move instantly defeated them both. "As you can see, Doctor, I will allow no one to stand in my way."

"That's what you think!" Dr. Z scowled at Seth. The Saurophaganax raced towards the group, but an Alpha Gang jet got in the way of them and the dinosaur. The top hatch lifted and flying the jet was none other than Helga.

"Get in," Helga ordered.

"Helga?" Dr. Z asked.

"Did you not hear me? I said get in," Helga ordered again. The android maid jumped from the jet onto the ground and walked over to the wall with the control panel for the door to the hangar for the jet to take off and punched it. Helga electrocuted herself to open the door as the Alpha Gang crawled into the jet.

"Come on, Helga!" Dr. Z called to her.

"Just save yourselves!" Helga responded. The Saurophaganax raced for the jet, but Zander started it up just in time to fly it away.

"We'll never forget you, Helga," Dr. Z said. "Now, can't this thing go any faster?" Helga gave the Alpha Gang a peace sign as they took off out of the hangar and made liftoff. Seth scowled at their escape.

Now flying through the air, the jet was pretty packed as it was with the five of them in there, but they were making it work. They weren't seen quite sure where they were going quite yet.

"I'm hungry," Dr. Z complained.

"It's dinnertime," Helga's voice through a recording said before a big plate of rice balls appeared before Dr. Z's eyes.

"You have stepped in my household for the last time! Now you will get what you deserve!" Helga roared at the Saurophaganax because she rushed at the dinosaur with nothing more than a soup ladle. Seth, very unamusedly, swipes his Fire Scorcher move card.

The Saurophaganax launched another one of its fiery magma balls at Helga. There was a loud boom on Zeta Point as a result.

"Zeta Point's just showed up on the radar!" Reese exclaimed to everyone else there.

"That's odd," Dr. Taylor stated.

"Wait, it that how you guys were able to track us?" Gabriel asked.

"Not unless there's a dinosaur present," Ren replied.

"On top of that, there's a flying object approaching," Reese informed.

"What?" The D-Team, Dr. Taylor, Laura, and Gabriel exclaiemd. They all headed outside to see an Alpha Gang jet making a landing just outside of the D-Lab.

"Too much excitement for one day," The Alpha Gang muttered upon their landing.

"I could use a shower and a nice, comfortable bed," Ursula groaned.

"Rod! Everyone okay?" Max asked upon spotted the dark-haired boy in the group.

"Grandpa!" Laura called joining Max by the jet.

"What do you think you're doing? Get back?" Dr. Z hissed at Max.

"No, Grandpa, you've got it all wrong," Rod tried to reason with his grandfather.

"I never remember asking for help from you brat. I don't need your help and I don't want it!" Dr. Z hollered. "All I want is to be left alone to create my dinosaur kingdom and become Dinosaur King!"

"You're still going on about that?" Max asked.

"Yes!" Dr. Z cheered.

"Wow, was that really the purpose I was fighting for?" Gabriel asked as he joined the others from the D-Lab. "I thought it was something filled with more justice than that."

"What's up with the new hair color? Never mind that, when did you dye your hair? Didn't we wait see you like an hour ago? How'd you even get here?" Ursula asked.

"I took one of the smaller, private jets from Seth's lab. I dyed my hair when I got home with some box color. I was planning on it for a while now, but today was an impulse decision. Decided that our common enemy was Seth, so I came here hoping to team up and like, you know, get the power in numbers," Gabriel replied.

"Who asked you anyway," Dr. Z huffed at Gabriel. "Let's go, Tank, Spiny!" Before Dr. Z could actually summon either dinosaur, Terry came up and latched his jaws onto Dr. Z's beard. "Let go Terry! I called for Tank and Spiny!"

"No way, Grandpa. You can't use them. Tank and Spiny are way too exhausted," Rod said as he looked at the two chibi dinosaurs.

"Grandpa, I heard about what you did," Laura huffed as she changed the subjects.

"Huh?" Dr. Z asked, thoroughly confused.

"The horrible things you did to Rex and Ren's mom and dad?" Laura told Dr. Z.

"What?" Dr. Z exclaimed.

"We'd like to hear what you have to say for yourself!" Laura told her grandpa.

"I'm confused, did I miss something?" Gabriel asked.

"It's a long story," Ren replied.

"Well, I uh," Dr. Z tried to come up with an excuse on the spot, but Ace walked over and chomped Dr. Z right on the behind. "Ah! Stop it! Get off of me! What do you think you're doing?" Dr. Z screamed in pain. As he was doing so, Rex's dino holder began to beep.

"A dinosaur's appeared!" Rex informed. Dr. Z suddenly stopped screaming at the news and looked to Rex.

"Alright, so where is it?" Dr. Z asked.

"I've finally done it. I finally made my Black T-Rex!" the scientist cheered to himself as Zeta Point continued moving towards mainland Japan.
