Today was seemingly a normal day for the everyday civilian in Sanjo City, the hometown of the D-Team. Families were out on walks. A couple of people were walking their dogs. Kids playing soccer in a nearby field. It was rather peaceful. Well, that's the kicker, was.

Everything seemingly turned dark as a large, flat ship blocked out the sun. The gigantic ship blocking the sky attracted the attention of many. Panic began to arise in all of the civilians below. The D-Team and the Alpha Gang looked up at the ship hovering above them.

"What is that?" Gabriel questioned.

"It's Seth!" Ursula pointed at the ship.

"And my Zeta Point!" Dr. Z growled.

"Wait," Gabriel started. "That's Zeta Point?"

"You missed a lot," Ren told her classmate. "We'll catch you up later."

Seth stood upon the ship known as Zeta Point looking down on the town below him. His Black T-Rex at the ready to terrorize the civilians of the city until he had achieved what he had come to accomplish. The sound of pedestrians shrieking in terror was music to his ears. Seth couldn't help but to chuckle to himself.

"If you thought that was good, watch this," Seth told the town, despite the fact that no one could hear him. "Destroy, Black T-Rex!" The black and orange-accented dinosaur waddled towards the edge of the ship. Upon seeing the monstrous creature upon the ship, civilians began to scatter into buildings or to their cars to drive away from the ship and the dinosaur that accompanied it. The Tyrannosaurus jumped from the ship and landed on the ground with a massive thud. Several cars had to swerve to avoid being squashed by the Tyrannosaurus Rex.

The D-Team and Alpha Gang were quick to decide to go and get a closer look at the Black T-Rex. The D-Team, plus Rod and Laura, took the jet that Rod and Laura had originally come in, and the rest of Alpha Gang took the one that they came in. Meanwhile, Gabriel took the private jet he stole from Seth. All three aircrafts had a radio system to keep in touch. It didn't take long for them to all catch up with the new dinosaur.

"Woah, look at it," Max commented from inside the jet that Rod was piloting.

"That's the one the scanner detected for sure," Rex added.

"It looks like a T-Rex, but it's enormous!" Zoe proclaimed.

"As far I know, Tyrannosaurus fossils as large as that one 'oughta be had never be found," Dr. Taylor enlightened. "So, this could be an amazing new discovery, but something tells me that isn't the case."

"Yeah, it looks like Seth did some major modifications to it to make it that big," Ren stated.

"That blasted Seth! He's the one behind this! That dinosaur has been obviously genetically modified in one of his evil experiments!" Dr. Z growled.

"Aren't you the one that's supposed to be doing evil experiments, Doctor?" Ursula asked the old scientist. Zander lowered the jet that he was piloting so Dr. Z, Ursula, and Ed could jump out. They ran up towards the ginormous Tyrannosaurus. Dr. Z looked up at Zeta Point.

"Seth, you give honest, hard-working evil scientists like me a bad name!" Dr. Z yelled. The Black T-Rex roared as it continued to smash windows and crush cars and destroy anything that was in its way.

Nearby, a news report was being broadcasted on gigantic screens throughout the city as civilians screamed below, "All citizens are urged to immediately take shelter from both the huge UFO and the vicious dinosaur that came from it now wreaking havoc over Sanjo City."

The D-Team was now on the ground near the Black T-Rex after their jet made a crash landing to narrowly avoid being hit by the dinosaur. All of the kids with their dino holders or stones in hand as they watched the dinosaur create a trail of destruction in its wake.

"Seth's gone too far this time," Rex scowled.

"Yeah, but we already know he could care less about the dinosaurs," Max stated.

"This time, we've got to stop this one from destroying the town," Zoe said.

"That's the only thing to do," Ren said. "So, we all know what comes next."

"Go! Dino slash!" The four kids called simultaneously as they turned their dinosaurs from their chibis to their cards and slashed or swiped their cards.

"Go, Triceratops! ROAR!" Max yelled.

"Spring up, Parasaurolophus!" Zoe cheered.

"Stegosaurus, let's rock and roll!" Ren called.

"Carnotaurus, blow them away!" Rex hollered. The Black T-Rex spotted the four new dinosaurs and hopped down from the roof of a building and began to challenge the D-Team's dinosaurs.

"It's not scared at all! It's going straight after them!" Zoe exclaimed.

"Let's go, Chomp," Max said as he held up his dino holder. His move cards displayed themselves in a fan from the top of the holder. A shining, yellow light lifted up one of Chomp's move cards and placed it in Max's hands. "Lightning Spear!"

Chomp roared ferociously before he charged at the large Tyrannosaurus. Sparks of electricity were beginning to generate between the Triceratops' top two horns as he ran. Chomp leaped into the air to attack the Black T-Rex, but the towering dinosaur shook the Triceratops off of him rather easily. Ebony, Ace, and Paris all had to dive out of the way to avoid Chomp landing on them. The Black T-Rex snorted at Chomp.

"Hey, I think that dinosaur's making fun of us!" Laura, who was now on the ground and out of the jet alongside Rod, Johnathan, and Dr. Taylor, pouted.

"Did you notice his size?" Rod asked. "When you're that big, you can be a jerk." Dr. Z, Gabriel, and the Alpha Gang soon joined them.

"Well, it's time that I show that traitor, Seth, just who he's dealing with here," Dr. Z furrowed his eyebrows as he held an Alpha Scanner.

"We'll never win if we fight like this," Rex pointed out to his teammates. "We need to all strike at once." A blinding, red light caught their attention as Dr. Z had summoned Terry to the battlefield. Terry roared fearsomely as he stood up tall. However, the looming giant above him made Terry hold his breath as he stared upwards and feared the beast that was in front of him.

"Yeah! So that T-Rex what you've got Terry! Volcano Burst!" Dr. Z cheered as he slashed the move card in the Alpha Scanner. Terry used the move and sent a blazing trail of fire hurdling towards the larger Tyrannosaurus. However, the Black T-Rex stood standing tall and firm.

"What's this? No effect?" Dr. Z frantically asked. Terry cowardly backed up from the T-Rex and got in a line with the D-Team's dinosaurs as they were backed up against a wall by the Black T-Rex. As the three-story tall dinosaur swung its tail at them, all five of the dinosaurs began to scatter before their respective owners called them back to their cards. The Black T-Rex's attack hit nothing.

"Gah, a bunch of cowards," Dr. Z grumbled.

"You called?" Ursula asked as she, Ed, and Zander trotted up to Dr. Z.

"Reporting for duty!" Ed chimed in. Rex ran up to Dr. Z and grabbed the scientist by the collar of his lab coat.

"Don't you get it?" the blonde boy asked. "None of us can beat that thing on our own!"

"I don't take orders from you," Dr. Z hissed.

"You're gonna have to, because this was all your fault in the first place!" Red scowled.

"I don't know what you're talking about," Dr. Z said.

"You're responsible for everything that's gone wrong here!" Rex screamed.

"Cut it out!" Gabriel intervened as he took Rex by the shoulders and shoved him off of Dr. Z. "What's your deal, kid? If we can't beat this on our own, this isn't the best way to go about making allies." Rex growled at Gabriel before Ren slithered in and separated the two boys.

"I agree, we need allies," Ren began. "But don't forget, Dallison, you're a part of the problem too," Ren growled at her classmate.

"Hey, I told you guys earlier, I had no idea this is what Seth was planning!" Gabriel defended.

"Everyone, calm down!" Zoe tried to mediate.

"I don't take orders from you either!" Dr. Z screeched.

"You just won't listen because you're a stubborn jerk!" Ren snapped.

Suddenly, Max and Zoe came and grabbed Rex and Ren's arms and pulled them away while the Alpha Gang trio, Rod, and Laura handled Gabriel and Dr. Z. Things were tense between the two parties.

"Grandpa, at least apologize to Ren and Rex for what you did to their mom and dad," Laura told Dr. Z.

"Apologize to the likes of them? Hmph. Never!" Dr. Z crossed his arms and turned his back. It was at this point that Dr. Z realized that Ren and Rex were the same kids as the two that were left behind that fateful day.

However, there were still bigger fish to fry. The Black Tryannosaurus Rex still loomed over them. Then, a hologram of Seth appeared before all of them. He was chuckling.

"Fighting amongst yourselves already? Ha!" Seth mocked.

"It's him!" Max gasped.

"What have you done?" Rod grimaced.

"You betrayed us all," growled Gabriel.

"Seth, when I get my hands on you, I'm going to crush you!" Dr. Z screeched.

"Ha!" Seth laughed. "But how? You've seen that you're no match for my new dinosaur. I've finally created my Black T-Rex!"

"So that's what he calls it," Zoe mumbled.

"This was your big plan all along, wasn't it?" Gabriel asked. "You used me!" Seth couldn't help back chuckle at the boy.

"Oh, Gabriel, so naive. Thinking you were on the right side of the line. All Dr. Z and I had to do was twist the story a bit, make the D-Team seem like the villains, and you were completely and blindly aboard our team," Seth told the boy. "However, I must say, I'm liking the new hair color." Gabriel didn't have any more words for Seth. He could do nothing but fume and steam silently.

"You creep!" Max went off. "Dinosaurs aren't objects! You have no right to treat them like that!" Seth glared down at Max for a few moments.

"If you want my Black T-Rex to stop destroying the city, I have a simple demand," Seth stated. "Surrender all the stones you have in your possession to me."

"What? Forget it!" Zoe hollered.

"He's after the stones," Ren concluded.

"No way!" Max roared. "We all know those stones hold the souls of the dinosaurs!"

"Yeah! There's no way you're ever getting your hands on them," Rex told Seth.

"Oh, really? You should never say never," Seth said. Suddenly, four Alpha Droids dropped out from the bottom of Zeta Point.

"Capture. Capture," They chanted as they charged at the D-Team. Rex dove under his and Max dodged to the side. However, Ren and Zoe weren't as lucky. Both girls were grabbed by one Alpha Droid, then secured in a capture by one of the two that missed the boys. There was no chance of them being able to wiggle out.

"Ren! Zoe!" Max and Rex called as they made a pitiful attempt at a ditch-effort rescue. The Alpha Droids took the girls back towards the Black T-Rex. The boys' rescue a failure.

"I'll ask one more time, hand over all the stones you have if you want the girls unharmed," Seth told the D-Team. Max and Rex were stunned that they were placed in an almost impossible predicament.

"Now you've gone too far!" Dr. Taylor scowled.

"Just now?" Gabriel raised an eyebrow.

"So, what will it be?" Seth asked Max and Rex.

"Ok," Rex caved.

"No, guys!" Zoe called. "If you give in now, it's all over!"

"Yeah, don't worry about us. We're tough," Ren added.

"The stones or your friends?" Seth asked in a harsher, strict tone.

"No choice," Rex told Max. "We have to give him the stones." Rex began to fish his dino holder out of his pocket.

"But Rex-" Max began.

"But what, Max?" Rex asked as he now had his dino holder in his hand. "Those are our friends, one of which is my sister, that he's threatening. There's no choice."

Max hated it, but he too began to dig into his pocket for his dino holder. The two boys opened the compartment of their dino holders to reveal the stones inside and held the devices out in front of them.

"No! Don't!" Ren screamed from the Alpha Droid. Smaller robots with extendable arms deployed from Zeta Point and whirled up to Max and Rex. The robots grabbed the dino holders from Max and Rex. The girls could only helplessly watch as the robots took the devices before they came over and pickpocketed Ren and Zoe for their dino holder and stone.

"Well, that's that," Seth ridiculed. The hologram of Seth then faded, and the Alpha Droids let Zoe and Ren go, by pushing the two girls on the ground before retreating. Even Black T-Rex was called back to its cards, stumping the Alpha Gang and the D-Team on what Seth's next move was going to be. A tractor beam was then sent down from the large ship to retrieve the robots, including the ones that had the D-Team's dino holders and stones.

"Ren! Zoe!" Rex called as he and Max ran up to the girls and helped them up.

"Are you two, okay?" Max asked the girls.

"Yeah, this isn't the first time we've been snatched by androids," Zoe replied.

"But still, Seth has the stones now," Ren pointed out.

"I wonder why he took back his Tyrannosaurus," Rex pondered.

"Since it's not here anymore we'll have a better chance at getting our dino holders and the stones back. Let's go," Max told the team.

"You two good to go?" Rex asked Ren and Zoe.

"Yup," Zoe nodded.

"Let's go show that scumbag why you don't mess with the D-Team," Ren said.

"Take me to Zeta Point," Dr. Z told Zander as he and the trio filed into their jet. "Seth is going to be very upset that he tried to take over my home." Just then, Rod and Laura climbed into the jet as well. "Hmm? What's this?"

"We want to come as well, Grandpa," Rod stated.

"It's our home too, and I left something important there!" Laura stated fueled by determination.

"Don't take off yet!" Dr. Taylor called to the Alpha Gang as he, Johnathan, and the kids rushed towards the jet while Gabriel was getting in his private jet. "We're all coming with you too!"

"That's right, so hold the plane!" Max told them.

"Impossible! Villains don't give the good guys a ride!" Dr. Z shrieked.

"Grandpa, it's bad enough that you wouldn't apologize to Ren and Rex. Now, let them aboard," Laura ordered the old scientist. Dr. Z hesitated. He loved his grandchildren, but was he really about to take orders from the youngest telling him to assist his enemies? Yes, yes, he was.

"Fine, but they have to buy the gas," Dr. Z complied. The D-Team with the addition of Dr. Taylor and Johnathan piled into the Alpha Gang jet. Soon, they were in the air and soaring off towards Zeta Point. There was just one problem, the jet was crammed.

"I'm calling the union," Zander huffed. "A pilot shouldn't have to fly in these conditions." A beeping on the control panel soon started to go off.

"Warning. Weight limit exceeded. Warning. Engine shutdown," an automated voice warned. Just as the jet was about to Zeta Point, the engines stopped, and the jet started to fall.

"Time to eject some of the cargo now!" Dr. Z ordered. "Anything worthless gets thrown overboard!" The crew scrambled to throw anything other than themselves, their cards, and the Alpha Scanners overboard, but the aircraft was still falling at a rapid pace.

"No good, we're still dropping like a rock!" Zander exclaimed.

"Weight limit still exceeded. Engine restart disabled," the automated warning voice told the passengers.

"We're going to crash!" Ren yelled.

"Not unless we lighten the ship even more," Dr. Z tried to think.

"But how? We've already tossed out anything worthless," Urusla told Dr. Z, who just looked at Ursula with a look that anyone could see meant no good.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" Urusla asked. Not long later, Ursula, Zander, and Ed were all booted from the jet with parachutes.

"How am I worthless? I was the pilot!" Zander screamed back at the aircraft.

"Weight standardized. Engines restarted," the automated voice said shortly after Dr. Z took the wheel. The smaller jet flew towards Zeta Point and aimed for a large hole in the top of the ship.

"Perfect. The taking back of Zeta Point begins now!" Dr. Z called.

Dr. Z landed the small aircraft inside of Zeta Point. There were Alpha Droid guards seemingly everywhere, but none of them were a threat to Johnathan, who could take down the droids with a single kick or punch.

"Woah. He's good," Max commented.

"I think Johnathan has then handled," Ren added. Gabriel then joined the group in watching Johnathan kick some Alpha Droid booty.

"Took you guys long enough. I saw you almost crashed," Gabriel said.

"Gabriel!" Rod exclaimed.

"Let's go. While he handles the Alpha Droids, we'll take the elevator up to the bridge," Dr. Z told the rest of the crew before he led the way. The team was just about to the bridge when a hoard of floating robots with eyeball-looking cameras on the front of them show up.

"Surveillance droids," Rex pointed out.

"Not good," Dr. Z added.

"This way!" Max ran off down a different hallway. Dr. Z looked at one of the camera droids, blew a raspberry, and ran off to join the others.

Max was leading the hodgepodge team down the new hallway when he suddenly stopped in his tracks. There were a cluster of Alpha Droids ahead of them and they were all headed their way.

"We have to go back!" Max told the others.

"More are coming from this way!" Dr. Taylor exclaimed upon turning around and spotting another group closing in on the team from behind.

"I am the master of this domain, and these Alpha Droids will listen to my command!" Dr. Z hollered at the incoming robots. Alas, none of them stopped moving. Just then, Zoe spotted another door nearby.

"Quick, guys! In here!" she alerted the others.

"Good eye, Zoe," Ren told her friend as she and the rest of the group filtered through the doorway. The team began to look around at the room inside. There were shelves upon shelves of metal and spare parts.

"So, what is this place?" Max asked.

"The warehouse that stores the androids' spare parts," Dr. Z said. Max walked up to a shelf full of Alpha Droid heads and looked at them. Ren soon joined him. She picked up one of the heads and looked it over. It was hollow on the inside. She looked to Max.

"Are you thinking what I'm thinking?" Ren asked.

"Oh yeah!" Max cheered.

The group soon left the room wearing the Alpha Droid helmets and breastplates to disguise themselves as Alpha Droids. They began to walk single file down the hallway with the dinosaurs, who were also wearing Alpha Droid helmets, trailing at the back of the line. The Alpha Droids that were hunting them watched this new batch of droids leave the warehouse with curiosity. A smaller surveillance-type droid rolled up to them.

"Halt! Where are your orders?" the small droid asked, successfully stopping the group in place. The group was silent. "What unit are you in?"

"Uh, we're new!" Max lied.

"You're new?" the droid asked. "Inspection!"

"Sir!" Max saluted and turned to face forward.

"Sir!" Rex followed Max's lead.

"Sir!" Ren copied.

"Sir!" Zoe added on.

"Sir!" Dr. Taylor played along.

"Sir!" Dr. Z leaned into.

"Sir!" Laura continued the line.

"Sir!" Gabriel carried the trend.

"Sir!" Rod finished up. Well, with the exception of the dinosaurs. All four of the dinosaurs barked, but without human speech, the D-Team was worried that their dinosaurs would have to be taken away because they would fail inspection.

"Hmmm, obviously not a well-built group. Obviously defective construction. Report to the scrap heap to be chunked," the smaller droid declared before moving on. The group sighed before they continued to march on. The smaller droid zoomed back to the group of actual Alpha Droids to continue the search.

Just when the group thought that their disguises were going to pull off, Dr. Z sneezed, and his helmet fell off of his head. The Alpha Droids and the smaller droid turned their attention towards the group, recognizing Dr. Z immediately. It was then that the group knew that the gig was up.

"Intruders! Intruders!" the smaller bot hollered. "Surround them!" The Alpha Droids circled the group and were able to capture them and take them to Rod and Laura's study room and lock it from the outside.

"Hey! Open this door!" Max ordered as he pounded on the door.

"This is a familiar situation, isn't it?" Ren asked with her back and one foot against a wall in a corner and Ebony in her arms. Rex, who was leaning against the intersecting wall next to Ren nodded with a small huff. Ace sat by his feet.

"I could've told you that wearing a bunch of droid suits wasn't going to work," Dr. Z sneered.

"What was that?" Max growled.

"At least he had a plan," Rod commented, which took Dr. Z by surprise.

"And it was actually working," Gabriel added.

"Until you had to sneeze and give the whole thing away, Grandpa!" Laura huffed. Dr. Z was taken back that his grandchildren weren't even standing by him in this. Because he couldn't make a snarky response, Dr. Z huffed, crossed his arms, and turned his nose away from everyone to face the wall. A holographic screen materialized into the room, and it showed Seth laughing at the contained group.

"Having another little spat?" Seth mocked.

"Seth!" Dr. Z hissed as he turned to face the screen.

"Let us out of here or else!" Gabriel growled as he ran up and tried to punch the holographic screen, but his arm phased straight through the visual and the boy ending up falling straight onto the floor. Seth just mused at Gabriel's attempt at a threat.

"Or else what? You can't hurt me as long as you're in there," Seth told the boy. "I've extracted the energy data from the stones. Next, I'm going to restore Zeta Point's time travel functions. So, where would you like to go? The Triassic Period? The Jurassic? Or just anywhere along the way I decided to toss you out? What do you say, Ren and Rex Ancient?"

Rex and Ren glared at Seth. Their blue eyes shone with distaste and fury.

"Yes, just like before when Dr. Z tossed out your parents!" Seth smirked at the siblings. Rex and Ren looked like they were about to follow in Gabriel's footsteps, but then both remembered that it was a hologram, so they couldn't do anything but have their blood boil.

"That was all your fault, Seth, and you know it! Somehow you were able to trick me into doing it!" Dr. Z retaliated.

"That's right! You're always trying to get others to do your dirty work for you!" Laura chimed in.

"Ok, someone has to fill me in," Gabriel told the others.

"I realize now that you were manipulating me all along! You just wanted the Ancients out of the picture, didn't you? Didn't you?" Dr. Z hollered. "You snake! After all I've taught you and all I've done for you, this is the thanks I get? It was my skills that got you to where you are today!"

"And my skills that got me the keys to the time machine," Seth said. "You see, the future belongs entirely to me, while useless, old buzzards like you are left in the dust."

Seth ended with a laugh before he deactivated the screen and it disappeared.

"No! Wait!" Max yelled as he ran towards where the screen was. "Hey! You can't just leave us in here! Give us back the stones!" Max demanded as he pounded on the wall closest to where the projection of the screen was.

"Now, calm down, Max," Dr. Taylor told his son.

"Seth isn't going to just give them back," Rod said.

"And it's not like you're going to break through that wall with your fist," Zoe commented. Just then, a crack appeared in the wall. Max stopped hitting the wall as he stepped back in astonishment. The wall continued to crack before it completely crumbled right in front of Max. Dust from the wall filled the air. When it cleared, none other than Helga stood on the other side.

"I'm back!" Helga cheered.

"It's Helga!" Rod and Laura chimed.

"And she's alright!" Dr. Z smiled. Johnathan appeared beside Helga.

"I was on my way here to try and rescue Mistress Ren and Master Rex and the rest of you when I found Helga in all sorts of pieces in the android storage room," Johnathan informed. "She was all strewn about like rubbish. So, I collected all her pieces and I reassembled her."

"Do your homework!" Helga ordered fiercely. Suddenly, she shifted with a smile at the group. "That's my usual line, but now there's bigger fish to fry. Everybody out before the droids come."

"You don't have to tell me twice," Dr. Z said before he scrambled out the hole in the wall. He was proceeded by Max, Zoe, Dr. Taylor, and Gabriel. Rex was about to head out before he noticed Ren was taking a while to get moving.

"Hey, are you okay?" Rex asked his sister.

"Yeah, I just can't believe that we're actually from the future and someone was cruel enough to throw out parents of two children that were on board, but then also the infant and the toddler as well, then use that against the kids later on in life. It's almost like black mail," Ren spat.

"I get that, Ren. I really do. But for now, we got to go. We'll show Seth and we'll make him pay for what he did to us," Rex said determinedly. Ren nodded and went to follow the others out of the room, but before the siblings left the room, they spotted the other pair of siblings looking at a device in Laura's hands.

"What are you going, guys?" Rex asked.

"I have to make sure to take this projector with us," Laura told Rex as she pressed play. A holographic video appeared just above the device with a couple waving. "It's a video of our mom and dad.

Seth was in his lab finishing up the final touches on getting the time machine system rebooted. The dino holders and Ren's stone were hooking up to the pillar in the center of the room that appeared to be the main component of the time machine. When it whirled to life, Seth laughed.

"It works," Seth told himself as he walked from the stones towards the pillar. "Now I can travel through time backwards or forwards." Seth did some more musing to himself. Suddenly, the machine slowed down and came to a halt. Seth stared at it full of questions. It was working just fine. What went wrong? He turned towards where he was keeping the items he had stolen from the D-Team to see them all in the possession of Dr. Taylor.

"You wouldn't happen to be looking for these now, would you?" Dr. Taylor asked as he held the three dino holders and Ren's stone in one hand.

"What? Impossible!" Seth hissed. With his other hand, Dr. Taylor pulled out his lasso and hooked it onto the rafters.

"Spike Taylor's the name, and sweet justice is my game!" Dr. Taylor cheered as he swung onto his lasso up to a platform where the D-Team were waiting.

"That'll teach you to steal!" Zoe sneered at the blue-haired scientist.

"How did you possibly get out of that room?" Seth asked.

"Now wouldn't you like to know?" Ren snarked.

"All that matters is that we did get out, so your evil plan isn't going to work anymore, and we got our dino holders back too," Max told Seth.

"Yeah, so don't even think about hurting the dinosaurs again," Rex added.

"That's the name of that tune. Let's go," Dr. Taylor told the kids. Dr. Taylor and the kids run down the runway from their second story platform to meet up again with the rest of the group.

"You think you beat me that easily? Well, you have another thing coming," Seth muttered.

The group was all know reunited, and planning to make their escape from Zeta Point, but they ran into some troubled when a prowling dinosaur intercepted their path.

"Saurophaganax!" Max exclaimed. The dinosaur roared fiercely, but its roar was cut short as a full-sized Terry attacked the Saurophaganax and used his jaws to push Saurophaganax away from the team by the neck.

"No!" Seth gasped upon arriving on the scene.

"Take that! I'm not able to let you take over my Zeta Point without a fight!" Dr. Z hollered.

"If it's a fight you want, it's a fight you'll get! Fire Scorcher!" Seth called as he slashed the move card. The same devastating, instant kill move knocked out Terry in a flash. The Tyrannosaurus transformed into a card and fluttered to the ground.

"That move again," Zoe whimpered.

"It's just too powerful," Rex commented.

"I don't care! There has to be some way to beat it!" Max declared as he pulled out his dino holder. "Dino slash! Go, Triceratops! ROAR!"

"Dino slash! Carnotaurus, blow them away!" Rex called.

"Dino swipe! Let's rock and roll, Stegosaurus!" Ren chimed in.

"Dino slash! Spring up, Parasaurolophus!" Zoe hollered. Just like that, all four of the D-Team's dinosaurs were ready to face the seemingly undefeatable Saurophaganax once more.

"Thunder Bazooka!" Max was the first one to use a move card. Chomp rushed in and jumped into the air. The Triceratops began to start spinning and electricity began to generate around him. Chomp made contact with the Saurophaganax. However, the larger dinosaur was able to just absorb the blow and toss Chomp aside like a ragdoll.

"Spike Arrow!" Ren decided that she would be the next one up to bat. Purple energy began to charge from Ebony's back spines and slowly move its way down towards her tail. The energy channeled itself into the Stegosaurus' tail spikes and Ebony took aim at the Saurophaganax and fired the arrow-like energy projections at the fire dinosaur. Saurophaganax blocked the attack with its tail by simply batting the energy arrows straight out of the air.

"Metal Wing!" Zoe declared as she slashed the move card. Three Pteranodons whirled out of seemingly nowhere to come to Paris' aid. They circled around the Saurphaganax but all three were easily taken down by the Saurophaganax thrashing about to knock the winged dinosaurs out of the air.

"Cyclone!" Rex called as he was the next person to try and use a move card. A gust of wind spiraled down around Ace and the quicker dinosaur used the momentum from the wind to speed up to the Saurophaganax's tail and grab it in his mouth. Ace swung the Saurophaganax around by the tail before throwing the larger dinosaur. The Saurophaganax hit the wall and fell to the ground. However, the Saurophagax got up from the ground unscathed.

"Even that didn't work," Rex gulped.

"Nothing did," Ren added.

"Try fusion moves!" Dr. Z ordered the kids

"A fusion move?" Zoe asked.

"You just slash the cards in synchronization! That causes the moves the fuse together. The resulting attack will have double the power!" Dr. Z told the kids.

"You expect us to believe what you say?" Rex scoffed at Dr. Z.

"Just like the attack Gabriel and Rod did in Kyoto! Remember how Odis' Thorn Whip attack got fused with Terry's Volcano Burst attack? That was a fusion move!" Ren exclaimed.

"Come on, Rex. Let's do a fusion move!" Max said.

"Fire Scorcher!" Seth called as he slashed the powerful attack once more. Ace ran out of the way and just narrowly avoided being hit by Fire Scorcher by using a tuck and roll dodge. Ace roared fiercely beside Chomp, who joined in on the roar.

"I think the dinosaurs are telling us to try it!" Rex told Max. "Together, Max!"

"Yeah!" Max said as he had his Thunder Bazooka move card in hand. "Thunder-"

"Storm," Rex added on has he had his Cyclone card in his.

"Bazooka!" both boys called. On the other side, Paris roared followed by Ebony.

"I think Paris and Ebony want to do one as well," Zoe pointed out to Ren.

"Then let's do it!" Ren smiled. Both girls pulled out their selected move cards.

"Wing-" Zoe started as she slashed her Metal Wing card.

"Spiker!" Ren added on and she slashed her Spike Arrow card alongside Zoe's Metal Wing.

Thunderstorm Bazooka started out with the pillar of wind surrounding Ace, giving him the speed boost as he ran towards the Saurophaganax. Chomp was close in tow. Chomp then connected to the speed boost provided by Ace's Cyclone attack as he leapt into the air and started to spin and generate electricity. The Triceratops' usual Thunder Bazooka attack was now at twice the speed and twice the power.

Wing Spiker began with the Pteranodons coming back onto the battlefield as the purple energy began to travel through Ebony's back spines towards her tail. The Pterandons landed on three of Ebony's tail spikes and those three were the only three spikes to get the purple energy channeled to them. The Pteranodons held onto spikes with their talons and outstretched their wings as Ebony aimed her tail at the Saurophaganax and fired. The Pteranodon's speed was inhanced by the fired arrows of Ebony's energy arrows and their power combined was doubled.

Both of the fusion moves made contact with the Saurophagnax, and the large dinosaur finally went down. Chomp landed smoothly on the ground as the fire dinosaur was transformed back into a card. With Saurophaganax turned back into its card, the dinosaur was the reclaimed by Max of the D-Team.

"Yes! Now we've got the Saurophaganax card!" Max cheered.

"Way to go, kids!" Dr. Taylor cheered. Even, Rod, Laura, and Gabriel were impressed by the fusion moves that the D-Team displayed. Seth growled in frustration.

"Time for you to surrender, Seth!" Dr. Z told his ex-lab assistant. "Leave Zeta Point and don't come back!"

Seth was silent for a few moments before he started to laugh manically.

"You'll be the ones leaving thanks to this!" Seth said as he exchanged his Alpha Scanner for a new device. One that was black and gold and kind of looked like-

"That looks like our dino holders," Max told the team.

"I copied the dino holder and the stones inside. Of course, my version is twenty times more powerful," Seth smirked.

"I thought the stones couldn't be copied," Rex said.

"Forget that," Ren said. "Why copy the stones if the Alpha Scanners don't even need them?"

"It may be because the dino holders run on the stones. If you copy the dino holders, the copied one needs a stone to work as well," Dr. Taylor theorized.

"Rise, Black T-Rex!" Seth called as he used the copied dino holder to summon his created dinosaur. The gigantic Tyrannosaurus appeared and was ready to destroy anything in its wake. "Tell me, who's the real Dinosaur King now?" Seth mocked. The black Tyrannosaurus began to walk closer to the crew.

"This is too dangerous; we have to get out!" Dr. Taylor said. He led the team away from the Black T-Rex. Everyone besides Dr. Z followed. Laura was the first to notice as she stopped and turned around.

"Oh, no! Granpa!" she called out to him.

"I'm not going to let some overgrown lizard force me out of my home!" Dr. Z yelled as the Black T-Rex leaned down towards the old scientist and breathed on him. "That's hot..."

"Are you blind? That thing's huge! There's no way you'll beat it!" Gabriel told Dr. Z.

"It's over, Doc!" Dr. Taylor told the old man. Just then, Ren noticed that her brother was no longer by her side. She looked and seen Rex running towards Dr. Z.

"Rex!" Ren called for him. The Black Tyrannosaurus was ready to make Dr. Z into a meal, but Rex tackled him and both barely dodged the Black T-Rex's jaws.

"You saved me," Dr. Z said blankly.

"Get up and run!" Rex ordered as he picked himself off of the ground. The rest of the group had already made it safely around a corner. However, the hallway that they ran into was nothing more than a dead end. Dr. Z and Rex soon joined them, both of them panting hard to catch their breaths.

"But why? Why would you do such a thing?" Dr. Z asked the blonde-haired boy.

"I... don't know. It just... seemed like the right thing to do, and that even... someone like you didn't deserve to be eaten up by a dinosaur," Rex replied.

"That's just the type of person Rex is. So you should thank him for risking himself to save your pathetic life," Ren huffed.

Dr. Z looked down to the ground, deep in thought, "Yeah about that. Listen up, because I'm not going to say this twice, both of you. Ren and Rex." The pair of siblings exchanged a glance before looking back to Dr. Z. "I'm so-... I'm sorry for what I did to you."

Ren and Rex were expecting a thanks for saving his life, but that apology wasn't something either of them expected to get from Dr. Z. They were stunned that he apologized. The Owen siblings could tell from the look of Dr. Z's face that he truly meant it. Rex and Ren looked at each other, then to Dr. Z, and both of them smiled.

However, the touching moment was soon spoiled by a rather large Tyrannosaurus roared as it approached from down the corridor. The Black T-Rex poked its snout around the corner.

"We're trapped, and if we don't find a way to take down that Black T-Rex, we'll never get out," Max thought.
