Chapter 12: Traveling
My battle with Misty was amazing. It was water versus water and Kingdra, Gyarados, and Feraligatr had a blast. Misty's Starmie was amazing. Misty was honestly amazing. I didn't think there was another Kanto gym leader I didn't admire.
I was just treading water in the pool afterwards, my ass thoroughly whipped by the water master in her domain. "At least take me to dinner first," I laughed in dismay, my pokemon too exhausted to even carry me at this point.
She laughed and grinned at me. "Look at you actually having a personality! I'll treat you to lunch, sound good?"
I agreed, and swam over to the edge of the pool, pulling myself out. I was thankful I'd brought a pair of swim trunks, or I'd have been soaked. I wrang the water out on my hair, and immediately got blasted by a staryu.
"Oh, it's on."
"You and what army?" Misty taunted me back, referring to my fainted team.
"I don't need an army!" I splashed water in her general directing, and by this point I was scared she was going to drown with how hard she was laughing.
This time she tossed a towel at me instead after I wrang the water from my hair again. I thankfully dried myself off and headed towards the locker rooms to put on some dry clothes. I sighed in dismay to myself as Archen followed me like a second skin. The gym was mostly women, so we were the only two in there! "Do you mind?" I sighed in dismay; suddenly self-conscious I was just in a pair of swim trunks.
He flushed and turned his back to me at least. I rolled my eyes and quickly switched my wet trunks for my dry clothes. Honestly it was… kinda cold. Really not much to be seen.

"So, when is the wedding?" Misty asked teasingly. I flushed and she sighed gently. "It's been seven years. That's a pretty good run, Silver."
I just… huh… marriage. I'd never really even thought about that. Honestly… It didn't sound terrible. I didn't want a crazy formal celebration, but honestly… rings and vows were… kind of romantic. I was honestly just realizing Gold had never brought the idea up before.
"Meanwhile I'm turning into an old maid in my 30's…"
"Please," I huffed, "that's not even a little old. It's hard to find someone that can put up with all the time we spend training and battling."
Misty nodded glumly. "We pretty much have to date other trainers, and then it's awkward for me as a girl because a lot of men don't want a woman stronger than them."
"Their loss," I comforted her gently, and she beamed. Her personality reminded me a bit of Blue's, and I was finding conversation easy with her. I really never talked with the other gym leaders besides in passing at the occasional league meeting. Honestly, we were all too busy to really hang out anyway.
She glanced over at Archen, who hadn't uttered a word to her yet except a soft hello after I'd introduced them. "So, you got your eye on anyone, kid? I think Gold and Silver started to date when you guys were what, 16?"
"Around 17, I think. I don't really remember honestly."
Archen just gave a shy little shrug, and Misty grinned.
"Honestly, I was surprised when I found out you two were together. I didn't meet you until after you were a gym leader, but Gold had previously dated one of my friends. I remember he dated Whitney, too! Did you confess or him?"
"He confessed," I stated softly. I used to get offended when people brought up Gold's history with women, but it was what it was. There wasn't any helping it, and he'd been nothing but loyal to me minus a glance here and there and some empty flirting. "I actually rejected him because I figured there was no way he'd want to be with me considering I'm not exactly female. But he kept persisting."
Misty looked so smitten. Clearly, she loved a good romance story. "Obviously he's bi, are you, too?"
"I'm honestly not sure what I am," I admitted, "I don't really like anyone, male or female." At least that's what I stuck to. I knew I liked men, but it wasn't like I was interested in anyone but Gold.
"Sounds about right," she agreed without missing a beat, and I rolled my eyes. "I figured the same thing about Green, though. And look, he just had a kid!"
"With my sister," I said dryly.
Misty gasped, "No way! I didn't know that!"
And honestly, that's just how lunch went, general gossip and discussion. It was always sort of nice catching up with other gym leaders, we naturally just shared a certain bond. I honestly felt a little bad for my apprentice, he was so quiet and clearly too shy to say a word. But afterwards he admitted he'd learned a lot getting to watch me battle, and that our girly gossip hadn't been unbearable.
That's how my next four days went, too. I traveled around Kanto, beating up other gym leaders along the way. Truthfully, I got beaten more than I wanted to admit. I think my pokemon and I all had our pride hurt. The Viridian City Gym was supposed to be the strongest gym in the region. We were definitely ready to put our all into training on Mount Silver, the next stop.
"Did you need to stop by the research lab?" I asked Archen. I'd honestly kicked off my socks and shoes to enjoy the black sand under my feet after my battle with Blain and a meal with him, too. The ocean was beautiful, and my heart was aching for Gold to be beside me as the sun started to sink down. The sunset was breathtaking. Honestly, it was nice just to take a breath and relax sometimes.
"No," he stated quickly, "I already dropped off everything I needed to."
I shrugged and nodded. Fair enough. I guess it wasn't like he'd need to stop by and check on anything. "You should head back to our room for the night. I'm uh, I'm going to give Gold a call…"
I'd just learned to be blunt with Archen. He wouldn't leave of his own accord, so if I wanted some privacy, I had to tell him. It was amazing having to clarify that I wanted to take a leak alone. I'm just surprised he hadn't tried following me into the shower yet.
"I can't stay?" he asked a bit anxiously, "I can just head down over there."
I sighed in dismay. "No. Back to the room."
He finally sulked off, and I thankfully clicked Gold's name on my pokegear screen. He picked up after two rings. "So what have you been up to today?" he asked immediately.
"I fought Sabrina and Blain today. I lost to Sabrina, but I beat Blain."
"Ooo," Gold stated happily. "Tell me all about it."
And so, I launched into a jokingly dramatic recap of my epic battles, Gold's laughter making me smile. "I love you," I finished off shyly.
"I love you, too. Where are you staying tonight, the pokecenter?"
"Yeah. I'm going to leave for Mount Silver first thing tomorrow morning. I think we'll stay probably four or five days. How are you doing?"
"My body hurts. We're getting so old, Silver."
"Kind of," I chuckled softly. Even I'd been a bit sore not sleeping in my fancy expensive king-sized bed. God forbid I slept with a different pillow. I'd woken up with a sore neck pretty much every morning since I'd left home.
"But honestly, I've gotten used to the crap food and hard bed. Every day is flying by. I have not gotten used to sleeping without you. I can't wait to see you in a week and a half."
"I can't wait to see you, either. Gold… it's…" I sighed, and decided to just admit it, "I'm sitting on the beach in Cinnabar, and I just want you here… The sun is setting and… yeah…"
"Believe me, I'd hold your hand and definitely make out with you," he chucked lovingly. "Honestly, let's be fair, I'd probably try a bit more than that, too."
I sighed in dismay and nodded. "Honestly, I really wouldn't mind right now."
He gave a pleased hum. "You should really take care of yourself you know. I mean that way. Jerk off, Silver."
I rolled my eyes. "You know I don't like doing that…"
"Unless you're on my cock wanting to drive me nuts? By the way, it's fucking hot watching you touch yourself. It's not a big deal. It's perfectly healthy, even. I really wish you'd be nicer to yourself sometimes you know… I mean, come on, I've gotten off like two times since you got me off," he laughed. "Believe me. I still want you just as bad, but at least I don't want to kill myself."
"I'll be fine. Besides, I have Archen constantly on my heels anyway."
"Is he there now?" Gold uttered, sounding a bit panicked.
"No. I had to tell him to get lost."
"Ah. Good. Anyways, if you'd like, I wouldn't mind being on the phone with you as a little uh, encouragement, if you need a bit of help getting in the mood."
Wow. That really wasn't helping. My desire to just start flying to the Pokeathlon was rising. I'd even be flying with the sun, so I might beat visiting hours…
"On a side note, I found out we totally have a ton of sex."
"We do?" I didn't think we were that bad, it wasn't like we usually did it every day.
"Yeah. Totally. Most of the other couples were saying twice a week is tons. Once every two weeks isn't unusual after seven years of being together."
"What?" I uttered, honestly a bit surprised. I mean… usually we did it five times a week. We did anal less than that, but we usually at least used our mouths or hands… "Maybe they just mean like, penetration?" We usually did that like twice a week…
"Nah, that's including hand and blow jobs. Most of them admitted they jerk off a lot."
"Whoa."
"Right?! Turns out we have a ton of sex."
I laughed nervously, feeling a bit dumb honestly. "It's probably time for you to go get some dinner."
"Yeah, but we can talk longer if you want."
I smiled and sighed gently. "It's okay. Archen will probably come hunting me down in a minute if I don't. I love you, Gold… Night…"
"Night, Silver. Stay safe out there. Call me when you manage to get some reception."
I clicked off my device and let out a long sigh, sitting there in the dark in the black sand. The surf brushed my toes, and I felt at peace with the world. The salt on the air was so pleasant. I missed traveling around. I'd been in Viridian for so long… I'd never stayed in the same place long as a kid. I'd really seen some amazing sights, too.
"Silver…?"
I sighed weakly. "Hey, Archen."
"You didn't come back, and I was getting worried."
I just silently gazed out at the dark sea, and then gave up and pushed myself up onto my feet. "Just trying to calm down a bit after talking to my boyfriend."
He flushed, and I almost felt bad teasing the poor kid. I'd been confused and terribly frustrated about things around his age. Honestly, getting laid was probably one of the best things Gold could have done for me. Apparently, I'd really needed a stick up my ass… Although truthfully, being more confident and powerful had helped a ton, too. I didn't have to hide in fear, either.
"Why do you follow me around everywhere anyway?" I asked casually, just carrying my shoes as I walked down the road to the pokemon center. It was getting chilly out at night on the beach front, my tank top wasn't quite cutting it. Honestly the ground was nice and warm still.
Archen was silent for a bit, and I figured he wasn't going to answer. "I just feel like if I look away… you'll vanish. Sometimes you just don't feel real, Silver. Seeing you on TV since I was in junior high, and now seeing you here with me in person… it's amazing. You're beautiful. I mean, of course the magazine covers, and promotions, you're all air brushed and flawless, and you look amazing. But in person you just…"
I was pink at this point. Shit. The kid had a crush on me, a big one from the sounds of it. Honestly, I had no idea what to do. Should I send him back to the mansion? I just decided to ignore it as we stepped into our room. Honestly, it hadn't been awful traveling with him so far. It wasn't like he'd even tried anything inappropriate.
"I'm a real person, and believe me, I have enough flaws. So, don't idolize me," I stated softly. "I guess thanks for telling me, though. You should get some rest. We leave early in the morning."
"Y-Yeah," he choked out softly, and I stepped into the bathroom to get ready for bed. Thankfully I'd been wearing more than just boxers to bed!

Mount Silver was rougher than I remembered. I was even breathing hard as we worked our way up the steep incline, and honestly, I was in amazing shape. Gold and I usually hit the gym several times a week, and we were pretty toned. I'd been fighting off ridiculously strong pokemon, too.
I glanced back towards Archen, and the poor kid looked ready to drop.
"Let's take a break," I suggested, and he pretty much collapsed. I sighed gently. "Remember, part of being a trainer is training yourself, too. You probably want to start working out a bit."
"Okay," he pretty much gasped out.
Maybe it had been a bad idea to bring him out here. I mean, I could keep him safe from the pokemon, but honestly, the place was dangerous in and of itself. But once we were inside the mountain, terrain wise it should be better. Then the super scary pokemon would start.
I quickly noticed a pack of rapidash coming at us and I sighed, sending out Feraligatr. Honestly, even with the type advantage, my starter was barely standing after battling the flaming beasts.
"Damn," I uttered in dismay, grabbing a repel from my bag. Looked like I'd need it just to reach the super scary pokemon at this rate. Honestly, Archen just looked horrified amusingly enough.
"You're incredibly strong, Silver," he uttered in wonder.
"Believe me, it took a lot of work."
"Did anyone train you?" he asked curiously as I motioned him to continue on with me.
"Of course. Lance, Green, and my father all trained me. Honestly, Pryce did, too. Lance did a lot of it, though."
"He's the dragon champion," Archen recalled. "He's a bit of a mystery, though. I know he's strong."
"He's…" I sighed. I didn't exactly have any room to judge. "He doesn't like people much. At least now he wants to help the world in getting better. He used to want to destroy humans. So that was a thing." But he always made time for me. He'd told me once, softly in the dark, sharing a kiss of all things, that I'd restored a chunk of his faith in humanity.
I didn't deserve that. He seemed to think I hadn't been destroyed by all the darkness, but, truthfully, I found it difficult to barely hold on even now. I was just as twisted and cruel as my father… I'd killed several humans, using my pokemon of all things.
I took a deep breath and just focused on the burn in my calves. Each step was taking a stair, but without that flat surface to stand on. Archen had to break a few times, and he barely made it to the ledge I wanted to make camp at. Each break left us more vulnerable to the surrounding pokemon.
It was like a gym leader's pokemon had just been released all over the mountain. The crobat Weavile was fighting was huge! "Geez," I uttered in dismay, and Weavile agreed. He sent a worried look towards Archen, I just told him the kid would probably be fine.
I pretty much beat up random wild pokemon until it started to get late. That's what I'd come for. My team was already so exhausted after dealing with the gym leaders and all the wild pokemon, though. I didn't know how long we'd last up here.
I carefully placed a few repel incense around the area I'd designated as the camp, if only to give my pokemon a break. "I'll go get some water," Archen offered, and I nodded in agreement as I started on the tent.
I'd already finished setting it up and setting up a small fire by the time Archen returned, and I raised an eyebrow at him. At least he hadn't gotten killed. I really wouldn't enjoy filling out that paperwork. We ate some simple traveling rations, and then laid out our sleeping bags just to rest for a bit. I absently flipped through a booklet on the documented pokemon in the area, deciding what sounded fun to fight.
I yawned and stretched once we'd rested a bit, looking over at Archen. "Well, it's time for you to try fighting some of the local fauna." He looked at me in utter horror, and I just pointed out into the woods. "You don't get stronger if you don't get your ass kicked around a bit. It's important to know your limits, but when you're training, it's better to push them. Go on. I can back you up if you lose."
And fight he did! He didn't have much of a choice, it was fight or die. Honestly, he did pretty good. He certainly wasn't a weak trainer. There was a lot of potential in him. I nodded as his deerling was knocked out. I pointed Twister in the direction of the primeape that didn't look done fighting yet. I tossed a bag full of revives at Archen. "Again," I stated simply, and he paled.
"Nice," I stated proudly afterwards, my pokedex trained on Archen's… archen. "It has already gained 3 levels. The bird was at 35 now. "Your archen will probably evolve soon." I glanced at archeops, archen's evolved form, in my pokedex, raising an impressed eyebrow. That was a neat looking pokemon. It reminded me of a feathered rainbow aerodactyl. "Let's head back before it gets too dark."
Honestly… I was completely and utterly turned on, and I just wanted to curl into a ball in my sleeping bag. I'd barely been able to focus on Archen's fight, instead just trying to stop my mind from wandering to Gold and his hands sliding up my thigh… It'd come out of absolutely nowhere, too. One second, I'd been deciding that deerling needed to train its footing so it could put more power into its take down attack, and then the next second I had been very much aware of the tent I'd been pitching. It did not help that I was wearing light training pants… These particular pants did not have pockets, and I'd had to discreetly tuck my erection against the waistband of my boxers while Archen had been battling for his life.
"You okay, Silver? You look kind of… flushed."
"Fine," I answered, probably a bit too quickly and defensively.
"You're not, uh, horny, are you?"
I was going to kill this kid. Now he decided not to be shy. Or, geez, was it that freaking obvious? Honestly, Gold would usually pick up on it probably before even I did. I made sure to fix Archen with an annoyed look, but it wasn't like I could exactly deny it. Humans sucked at lying. Even I hadn't masted it. So, I wisely remained silent as we curled up by the small fire.
At least he didn't pester me about it further. I was just surprised the heat in my gut wasn't going away, if anything it was getting worse. Even my breathing was quick, and my heartrate was fast. Curled up in my sleeping bag, I couldn't sleep at all. I wanted Gold…
I wanted his teeth on my neck, his strong sun kissing hands grabbing my hips. Fuck… he was pressing his cock against my ass and grinding his palm gently over my cock. I moaned at the pressure in my gut, and the pleasure surging through my veins. I loved when he wrapped me in his arms like this, his hot chest pressed against my back. I just needed a little more…
