Thank you for reviewing and reading! In light of the fact that Haise's quality of life has declined since his raid on Corniculum, expect to see more of the Clowns; especially Roma, who will become an influence on Haise.

It was refreshing for me to write a less melodramatic and action-packed chapter. I honestly do enjoy writing less serious chapters where I can expand on characters and showcase them interacting with one another in fun scenarios.

The next major arc won't be until Haise's group arrives at Rushima Island, which I'm excited to write as well, due to that being the place where a bunch of characters are, such as Rize, Kanou, Juuzou, Amon, Akira Mado, Takizawa, and the other survivors of Aogiri Tree are.

The author's note will be at the end, I'll try to address the reviews from chapters 19 and 18. Anyways, thank you, and please enjoy!

Being able to function without the necessity of having to sleep greatly benefited Urie when it came to his recovery time.

The Oggai commanders, Hajime and Mayuzumi, had retrieved Urie after his body shut-down after his fight with Haise, due to him essentially being defeated, even after stabbing his ex-squad leader in the heart. From there, Hajime and Mayuzumi fled from Corniciulm in the midst of an all out battle with the United Front, before delivering the Black Reaper's dying body back to their temporary underground headquarters in the heart of the 24th Ward.

Having defected from CCG in order to join GOAT, as well as being close colleagues with Urie back when he first underwent the surgery to transition into a quinx, Dr. Shiba, the man who also happened to be responsible for pioneering the idea of the creation of quinxes, had been the one to perform life-saving surgery on the Black Reaper upon the Oggai twin's arrival.

Using the same technological-wonderments that Ihei had stolen during their Cochlea raid, Dr. Shiba's operating room and available medical equipment proved to be more than capable enough to allow him to perform the eight-hour long surgery needed to rescue Urie. Having only Dr. Kanou's notes to aid him in manipulating the experimental kakuja cells in the Black Reaper's body to replicate new organs, Dr. Shiba eventually managed to successfully recreate Urie's entire digestive system while restoring his quinque frame as well.

Without needing to sew up Urie's body, or even having to repair his Arata quinque that had been damaged from his fight with Haise, the operation had been a total success. Needing to clean up the mess he had created, Dr. Shiba wiped his brow while sipping on his iced coffee before beginning to bust out a mop and bucket.

Not even a minute passed after Dr. Shiba had finished mopping the floors of his makeshift operating room until Urie eerily rose up from the surgical table, like the Frankenstein-abomination he was. Looking around the room at the aged-tile walls of the dimly-lit room surrounding him, Urie took a few moments to ensure that his Arata quinque was still grafted onto his skin firmly before finally hopping off of the operating table to make his way over to the doctor that had saved his life.

Before Urie could even begin to express his gratitude, Dr. Shiba turned around to stare into the Black Reaper's newly obtained set of eyes that consisted of a black orb where his right eye had once been. "Before you try running off after giving me a quick 'thank you', allow me to express my worries to you..."

"What's there to worry about? I feel fine," Urie said dismissively, while still maintaining a level of respect for the doctor; despite the fact that he felt somewhat annoyed that the older man was able to predict his planned next course of action.

Unimpressed with Urie's lackadaisical response, Dr. Shiba lowered his eyeglasses down the bridge of his nose to stare at the young one-eyed ghoul's mismatching eyes before shaking his head at him. "You say that, but the tests I ran on you state otherwise, my friend," Dr. Shiba rebutted, before waving for Urie to follow behind him, as he made his way out of the operating room in favor of having a more comforting room to occupy. "Come, come… We have much to discuss about your health, and well… About what the One-Eyed King thinks is best for you."

Tossing and turning, Haise had been plagued with nightmares that ranged from having to watch Shirazu being crushed, to him relieving the memories he had of fighting the Black Reaper. The nightmares involving the dreaded Black Reaper were far worse than the ones Haise could vaguely remember having after being tortured by Yamori. At least in those nightmares, he could take solace in knowing that he defeated Yamori in real life, and it was easy for him to despise him.

The Black Reaper, on the other hand, was someone who Haise barely managed to fight off, and he had only survived his encounter with him out of pure luck. Unlike Yamori, the Black Reaper wasn't someone who he could hate, despite very much wanting to. Behind the mask, the Black Reaper was still the young man that Haise loved like a son.

In spite of his parental love he still harbored for Urie, the final nightmare involving him proved traumatic enough to finally awaken Haise. Before waking up, Haise dreamed of seeing Hinami tied up to a chair naked, and alone in an empty-auditorium similar to the room Jason had tortured him in years ago.

However, unlike his eleven-days of torture, the entire nightmare consiting of Haise being forced to watched as the Black Reaper brutally used his quinque to slaughter Hinami in the worst-excruciating way that the one-eyed ghoul could imagine. After having to witness the Black Reaper ripping Hinami's head off her beaten and bloodied body, Haise screamed as he woke up drenched in a cold sweat.

Expecting to awaken in a dark bedroom of some kind, or hopefully anywhere that would substitute as a peaceful place to allow him to calm down in, Haise was granted no such peace after immediately seeing the burning silhouette of the Black Reaper standing beside him.

Wide-eyed and feeling his heart beginning to beat painfully in his chest, Haise let out another panicked scream as he watched the burning one-eyed ghoul raise his quinque above him before suddenly plunging the blade down towards Haise's chest. Insticitly, Haise reached up and grabbed the handle of the quinque, in a desperate attempt to save himself from suffering the same fate he had faced at Corniculum.

In the midst of struggling to drive the blade away from his chest, Haise let out another terrified cry as he felt two pairs of hands clamp tightly down on his shoulders. Looking up to see who was pinning his shoulders down against the bed, Haise found it harder to breathe after being met with the haunting gaze of Hinami's phantom staring back down at him through a demented smile and blackened eyes.

In a matter of a few seconds after being shaken to his core, Haise suddenly heard the familiar sound of Matsumae's voice calling out to him from where the Black Reaper seemingly towered beside him. "SASAKI, THAT'S ENOUGH; STOP!" The woman shouted, as the hallucinations in Haise's mind began to fade away before his very eyes.

Unable to speak and with his heart physically hurting in his chest, Haise looked away from Matsumae's horrified eyes to see Roma behind his bedpost where Hinami's phantom had been moments ago.

Seeing her flash a pleasant smile at him, Haise was suddenly caught off guard after feeling Matsumae forcibly open his mouth, before shoving her fingers in there to place a small dissolvable tablet underneath his tongue.

"Calm down, Sasaki… It's okay, you're safe," Matsumae said reassuringly, as she carefully kept Haise's jaw closed, so that the medicine she had administered to him wouldn't fall out of his mouth. "Just relax and let the amiodarone do its job… It'll slow down the nerve activity of your heart, and it'll relax it so it'll stop hurting."

Laying on the bed with Roma still keeping him pinned against the mattress of the hospital bed, to prevent him from accidentally hurting himself, Haise stared up at the white ceiling of the Crescent Moon's medical bay as he felt the medicine working its magic.

After a minute of laying down, the acute pain he felt in his chest had finally subsided, and Haise eventually was able to once again fill his lungs with much needed oxygen. Still drenched in sweat while gasping for air, Haise's clammy hands reached out to grab a hold of anything he could use as leverage to prop himself.

Seeing her patient struggling to sit up, Matsuame ushered for Roma to help her as she grabbed onto Haise's arms to assist him, while Roma placed a pillow between his back and the mattress.

Sitting up in bed, Haise could still feel his heart beating normally while he scanned his eyes around the small-white room that he had been assigned to. Without any windows or clocks visible to him, Haise had no idea what time it was.

"… How long was I asleep for?" Haise asked anxiously, as he turned his head to stare back at the sympathetic expression awaiting for him on Matsumae's face. Having been a veteran of waking up from long-periods of sleep, Haise already knew that he wasn't going to like the answer he was about to be given.

"Sasaki, you… You've been asleep for four days; Christmas Eve just started… Ten minutes ago," Matsumae informed with a forced smile on her face, as she reached down to grab a hold of Haise's trembling hands. "… Don't worry, your friends are safe. They're staying at Yoshimura's apartment for the time being; I'm sure they'll be more than happy to know that you're awake."

Swallowing back the lump in his throat, Haise let out a sigh of relief before sinking back against the large pillow behind his back, before suddenly realizing what Matsumae had said. "Wait, you said Yoshimura's apartment… Why are they all staying in her apartment upstairs?"

Before Matsumae could delicately articulate the tragedy that had befallen on :re, Roma suddenly blurted out, "Silly boy, they're not staying at :re! They're staying at Yoshimura's old apartment, because the Black Reaper burned down your guys' coffee shop!" Roma said enthusiastically, as she leaned forward to stare down at Haise's shocked expression. "Don't worry sweetheart, I can take you home in the morning~!"

"... Thanks," Haise muttered with a deadpan expression on his face, as he took the news as well as one could while still trying to still come to terms with their tragic life. "Okay, erm... Listen, if it's all the same, I'll be getting up now," the one eyed-ghoul stated in a frustrated voice, before fighting against his sore limbs to swing his legs off of the mattress.

Grabbing onto the railing attached to the side of the hospital bed with one hand, Haise used his other hand to grab a handful of the blanket covering him, before tossing it aside so he could stagger off of the mattress. Flinching at how cold the white-tile felt underneath his bare feet, Haise took only a few steps forward before suddenly being blocked from leaving the room by Matsumae.

"S-Sasaki! I can understand being eager to stretch out your legs after being in bed for four days, but I can't have you can't leave like that!" The ghoul protested with flustered cheeks, as she stared back at the completely-naked young man with an outraged expression on her face. "B-Besides, I can't have you exploring the ship without a chaperone… I couldn't allow that while under a good conscience."

While Haise found Matsumae's insistence of her wanting him to put on some clothes before walking out of the medical bay to be reasonable, he found the idea of being escorted around the Crescent Moon to be bothersome; especially since he really wanted to be alone with his thoughts at the moment.

"... Look, I'm fine with putting on an outfit, I get that… But I'm not really in the mood to be in anyone's company at the moment; I have a lot of stuff on my mind, and I'd like to be by myself for a bit," Haise explained in a mildly annoyed voice, as he waited impatiently for the head servant to step out of his way.

Before Matsumae could further protest against Haise's persistence of wanting to be isolated, she was interrupted after catching a glimpse of Roma grabbing the orange pharmaceutical bottle containing Haise's newly prescribed heart medication. "Hoito, w-what are you-?"

"-Don't worry about it Matsumae! I'll be his 'partner-in-crime'!" The Clown leader declared proudly, before grabbing a hold of the discarded blanket to wrap it around Haise's naked body. "Come along 'autismo'; I'll be sure to turn that frown upside down~!"

Turning his head over his shoulder to stare bewilderingly at the grinning woman who had just casually jeered at him, Haise blinked a few times before finally gathering his wits enough to speak. "I'm sorry, what…? I… I don't think we've met before," Haise said as politely as he could, before recoiling as he felt Roma sliding her arm underneath his armpit.

"Name's Roma Hoito! I'm the one who dragged you out of Corniculum after we got our asses handed to us! I'm an 80's vinyl-record collecting aficionado, and I've been a Star Wars fan ever since I was a little girl...!" Roma said in an attempt to introduce herself, before pulling Haise closer to her so that they were side-by-side with their arms locked together. "... Oh, and I guess I'm the founder of the 'Clowns', but that's the least interesting aspect about me, in my opinion."

Processing what the eccentric woman was telling him, Haise gazed downward and took notice of Roma's circus-aesthetic outfit. "... I see," Haise said in a quiet and confused voice, while staring blankly at Roma's wide grin and sparkling eyes gazing up at him. "... Well, erm… Thank you for saving me, Roma; I'm in your debt."

"Oh, I like you~! And hell yeah, you better be thankful," Roma said happily with a can-do attitude that Haise found to be strangely infectious, after finding himself smirking a bit just by looking at the positive vibes Roma was giving him.

That changed after what Roma said next, however. "... Because we clowns stuck our necks out to rescue you and your little friends, the Black Reaper and his little group of friends decided to retaliate for our 'betrayal' by paying our last auction a 'visit'!" Roma said with a whimsical voice, before suddenly changing her expression to convey an emotion of hatred in her brown eyes.

"... And by 'visit', I mean he brought his new squad over to viciously slaughter all but three of my clowns, along with every bidder who attended that auction," Roma muttered bitterly with a resentful glare in her eyes, as she stared Haise dead in the eye before suddenly changing her expression to be once again happy and ditsy.

"But hey! That's alright! I was thinking about settling down soon anyways... Even a gal like me has gotta know when to hang up the gloves and move on to greener pastures; especially when all my paying customers are dead~!" Roma explained in an optimistic voice, before stuffing the bottle of pills in between the waistband of her rainbow skirt.

"... Anyways, that's neither here nor there… The point is, I'm planning on integrating what's left of the Clowns into the United Front, so you and I are going to be seeing each other a lot; so, we might as well get to know one another~!"

In the corner of his mind, Haise couldn't help but vaguely remember Touka mentioning that she wanted him to overtake the United Front, and betray Tsukiyama's trust in him in order to help integrate peace between ghouls and humans, all while achieving independence for Tokyo so that the city couldn't be exploited by Tsukiyama's family of profiteering elites.

Figuring that he'd be killing two birds with one stone by building a diplomatic tie between him and Roma, while also satisfying Matsumae's apparent need of him having to be in a buddy-system before he could leave the medical bay, Haise decided to accept the Clown leader's company for the time being.

"... Okay, that's… That's fine then," Haise said with a slight bit of hesitation in his voice, which didn't seem to bother Roma at all.

"Great! Come on, I'll catch you up on everything you missed while we walk… Say, I just got a great idea, Sasaki! Let's head up to my bedroom!" Roma said with a playful grin on her face, as she tightened her hold on Haise's arm. "I'll get you squared-away with a shower and some food, and then I'll show you a great time!"

While Haise wasn't necessarily as naive as he had been before, the one-eyed ghoul couldn't help but assume that Roma wasn't necessarily trying to get him alone for the sole purpose of wanting to engage in sexual activities with him. Perhaps it was the fact that Roma's youthful and colorful appearance made Haise figure that she wasn't the kind of woman who partook in such adult acts.

Again, the assumptions that Haise had quickly conjured up for Roma came crashing down after she waited for Matsumase to leave the room. Stepping a little closer to Haise, Roma got up on her tippy-toes to lean her grinning lips closer to his ear before whispering, "Hey Sasaki… Wanna take a few tokes outside with me, before we go into my bedroom...~?!" Roma inquired mischievously to him, before parting her shirt open to pull out a ziplock bag containing a freshly-wrapped blunt from her cleavage.

Laying on her own futon in the middle of her dimly-lit living room, Eto stared blankly at the overhung Christmas lights that she had strung across the ceiling of her apartment. Extremely thankful that her bank-account had only grown since her six-month absence, the newly reacquired wealth that Eto had access to once again meant that she had plenty to spare for decorating for the holidays.

With her memories intact, Eto somewhat wished she could revel in the same childhood fondness she had for Christmas, before her callus-adulthood filled with nihilism and bloodshed ruined her holiday spirit. Still, despite her mixed feelings about experiencing Christmas at the ripe old age of twenty-seven, Eto still felt a parental-obligation to ensure that her two sudo children and Touka could still take what little solace they could from the holiday.

Since :re's destruction, Yomo had decided to leave Eto with Touka, due to him wanting to regroup with Uta and Itori. As Itori had put it, it was 'time for their trio's reunion'. So with Touka isolating herself in Eto's old bedroom, the half-ghoul's role as a mother to Saiko and Mutsuki increased tenfold after they had been given the news of Shirazu's death from Haise's caregivers, Matsumae and Roma.

If things weren't bad enough for her children, Saiko had seemingly developed trust issues and had become even more of an introvert after Urie had beaten her from an inch of her life. According to what Saiko had told Eto, Urie waited for Shirazu to leave the coffee shop, after he had convinced him to assist him in his mission to capture Kurona and stop Haise's group, before attacking Saiko and burning :re down in order to tie up any loose ends.

The blue-haired quinx's newly developed post-traumatic stress disorder made her afraid of fire, and refused to be left alone. Saiko couldn't sleep without someone she trusted beside her, because of this, Eto had to buy a spare mattress to place on her living room floor so that the small woman would always be with either her or Mutsuki when it came time for bed.

Having attempted to sleep with her eyeglasses on, Eto's gaze shifted over to the Christmas tree that had been decorated by Saiko and herself, all without needing to squint. Recollecting back to the first morning that she and Haise were reunited after he had woken up from his six-month long coma, Eto couldn't help but think about just how empty and hollow supposably the 'most happiest time of the year' seemed without the man she had fallen in love with beside her.

Seeing the rainbow lights strung around the small evergreen tree blurring up by her teary eyes, Eto's lips quivered and felt her heart sinking into her chest, as she closed her eyelids shut to stop having to be reminded of that morning she spent with him.

Longing for Haise's company, Eto was considering the idea of crying herself to sleep, like the rest of the women who occupied her cramped apartment did, until suddenly being jolted awake by Mutsuki's cell phone vibrating on the surface of her coffee table.

Having presumably been experiencing a nightmare, the moment Saiko heard Mutsuki's cell phone going off was when she screamed bloody-murder, before thrashing around under her sheets. "S-STOP! YOU'RE HURTING-... O-Oh..." Saiko trailed off quietly, after waking up drenched in cold-sweat with a horrified expression on her face.

Although Saiko quickly became aware that she had only been experiencing a terrible dream, she still took a moment to lift her shirt up to make sure that there weren't really any stab wounds down along her abdomen. Letting out a shaking sigh of relief, Saiko quietly began to weep to herself, before feeling Eto wrapping her arms around her plus-sized frame.

"Shhh, it's okay dear, it's okay… You're safe," Eto cooed comfortingly to Saiko, while raising a hand up to begin gently combing her fingers through the quinx's thick lockets of blue hair.

While Eto was trying to comfort the triggered quinx in a loving way, Touka reacted completely differently to hearing Saiko scream. Slamming open the bedroom door with her solidified-kagune wrapped around her right arm like a firearm, Touka bursted into the living room like a woman on a mission.

Clenching her jaw and squinting her black and red eyes, Touka ignored Saiko and Eto's bewildered stares as she completed a tactical-sweep along the walls of the entire apartment; entering each room with the intent of killing any intruder that crossed paths with her. After inspecting practically almost every corner of each room of the apartment, including the hallway outside Eto's front door, Touka let out a sigh of relief before calmly returning to the living room.

"False alarm…" Touka muttered out in a tired voice, before dragging her feet behind her as she made her way to the futon. Sitting down beside Eto, Touka let out an exhausted sigh before patting her hand on top of Saiko's head. "... Sorry about that, Saiko."

"I-It's fine…!" Saiko mumbled in a shaken voice, as she did her best to calm herself down, all while gasping for breath and feeling her heart race inside of her chest.

Stirring up from her deep sleep after being awakened by Saiko's banshee-like screams and Touka slamming doors open like there was no tomorrow, Mutsuki groggily muttered vulgarities under her breath as she blindly reached her arm out to grab a hold of her vibrating cell phone. "... Son of a-?!" Mutsuki almost cursed aloud, before suddenly recoiling in shock after reading the contact number of the caller.

Sitting up right on her futon while still leaning forward to comfort Saiko, Eto suddenly became intrigued by the look of surprise and anxiousness on Mutsuki's face. "Hey sweetheart, who's calling?" Eto asked politely in an exhausted voice, while still watching as Mutsuki accepted the call before putting it on speaker for all four of them to hear.

As Mutsuki held the phone up to her lips, the three other women anxiousless awaited to hear the voice of whoever the midnight caller was. Clearing her throat, Mutsuki braced herself for whatever was about to happen as she mustered up the courage to speak timidly into the cell phone.

"H… Hello?"

"Hahaha, ah...! H-Hey Tooru! How's it going?! Pffffft... S-Sorry to be calling you this late, I just wanted to let y'all know that I'm back up on my feet! F-For the most part that is… I'll, uh… Uhhhh, ah shit, what I was going to s- Oh yeah, right! I'll be coming ashore sometime around six in the morning; don't worry about picking me up, I got someone to give me a ride, hehehe…!" Haise spoke apologetically into the phone, while slurring his words and giggling in between pauses.

While all four women exchanged shocked and excited looks with one another, Eto could vaguely hear Roma's voice in the background, along with the sound of Haise seemingly inhaling before coughing quietly. After waiting a few moments, Haise chuckled a bit before following up with, "Erm… Hello? Did I lose signal, or-?!"

"-SASAKI~!"

"-KANEK~I!"

"-SENSEI~!"

"-MAMAN~!"

Upon hearing all four voices of Eto, Mutsuki, Saiko, and Touka screaming into the speaker after rushing over to the phone, Haise let out a yelp on the other side of the line, before being bombarded with questions and endearing words that conveyed to him how much he was missed.

Leaping up with Saiko still in her arms, Eto's face lit up with enough radiance to rival the brightest of Christmas lights after hearing Haise's voice again. While she along with the other three women in her apartment rambled on-and-on to Haise without really giving him enough time to respond to any of their questions or sentences, Eto once again found herself catching herself staring longfully at the Christmas tree sitting in the corner of her living room.

Thinking it to be a trick of the mind at first, Eto couldn't help but take notice that the multicolor lights strung across the tree seemed brighter than before, and the star on top of the green pine-leafs seemed to glimmer and radiate light more than it ever had since she purchased it.

In that very moment, and in spite of the tragedies that they all had endured, Eto's childhood love for Christmas had returned, and all she could think about was spending it with Haise, and her friends that she considered to be her family.

Straight up, before I go on about the author's notes, let me know if you're all fine with Haise and Roma fucking. And if so, any ideas that you can recommend will be appreciative. Just know that Haise and Roma will both be high and drinking, while listening to her mixtape, talking to one another about nothing particularly serious or profound. Roma will probably ramble on about Star Wars at some point as well.

The idea of adding onto Roma's character by giving her a love for 80's era music and Star Wars stems from her age. She's canonically about fifty-five, despite looking no older than thirty, if that. So since she grew up envious of humans being able to live a life she couldn't live, I figured that she'd probably develop a fondness for the little things she could enjoy in her life.

Much like Eto, Roma was homeless and lived in poverty for most of her youth. According to the wiki, they're actually extremely similar, especially when it comes to power level.

Anyways...

From the dates of December 24 through December 30, there won't be any major conflicts such as those from the Corniculum arc or the Luna Eclipse Incident arc.

Let me know how you guys feel about there being a lemon written of Haise and Roma; I'm not sure if I want to have them casually fool around, or just have them hang out intoxicated while Roma shows Haise music from her era, while just bullshitting in general.

The reason behind adding Roma to Haise's group of friends was for several reasons, the biggest one being that I don't want Haise's life to be more depressing than it already is, so having Roma around will help offset the angst, and allow Haise to become the same optimistic person he was earlier.

That way, he can lighten the mood of the story and of the other characters as well.

Anyways, time to address some of the reviews I've gotten.

The dragon cells that are in Urie's body are a prototype product made by Kanou, who is currently missing. Hint, hint, he's stuck at Rushima Island. The dragon cells don't take over the consciousness of the host, they just consume their RC-cells until eventually having to extract nutrients from the other cells, before eventually the host is left as nothing but a dry husk.

Although Urie sacrificed his organs so he could have a chance against Haise's half-kakuja, he did end up having them re-made by Dr. Shiba. Unfortunately, what he did will cost his dwindling health dearly.

Reading the reviews for chapter eighteen that were answered in the following chapter made me realize that maybe I shouldn't skip going over the reviews anymore.

Thank you for the compliments Carla, and going as far as saying that the fight scenes were better than the anime. And I didn't even realize that Haise was the only one who had a gun to use to fulfill the connection I made about him and Urie being like gunslingers. Haise, for the most part, was able to remember his life way more than Eto did, before she was electrocuted twice, so his head injury will more or less just mean that he has headaches from time-to-time. Eto and Haise will be reconnected soon.

Writing lemons about Haise getting it on with Chie Horie and Kurona on separate occasions would be fun, so I might keep that in mind in future chapters!

Without the Barbatos suit that acted like Haise's training wheels for his very first raid ever since waking up, then yes, Haise would have died. As far as Shirazu dying, I'm on the fence about it myself. An idea I have for if I were to show Shirazu surviving being crushed would be having his body reconstructed with Ayato's kagune, similar to Urie's Arata quinque, but without the dragon cells.

Dragon cells, for now, are only in Urie's body; the reason behind that will be explained during the Rushima Island Landing arc.

Urie at full power is an SSS rate, while normally is an SS+ rate. Haise normally is an SS rate one-eyed ghoul, while Eto is S rate when she's not in her kakuja form; naturally, she's SSS when she's the One Eyed Owl. The major disadvantage Eto and Roma have against Urie is that he essentially cheats when he fights.

Urie's strategy isn't to overpower strong foes, it's to prevent them from fighting back so he can go in for the kill. However, as seen with his fight against Touka, Urie relies heavily on using his electrokinesis and the element of surprise to fight one-on-one matches, so when that's used against him he has a harder time fighting.

Out of everyone in Haise's group, Touka and Eto are best suited to go against Urie. The only reason why Eto lost was because, again, Urie waited to fight her when she was at her weakest. He's a filthy cheater.

Touka eventually will become an SSS rate ghoul once she develops a full-kakuja, and Haise and Urie were planning on killing each other.

CCG is going to be hurting a bit for money, that's for sure.

Urie's kill count as far as humans are mostly comprised of CCG investigators, but has been known to murder if he thinks he has to.

Currently, Mutsuki and Saiko are the only members of qunix who are still loyal to Haise. So yes, I'm 100% okay with writing a lemon of Haise and Saiko; more cushion for the pushing, as they say.

Haise's memories of Luna Eclipse will return, but it won't be splendid; it'll be when he's either drunk or high probably; or both.

Phantom Hinami isn't going anywhere, so long as Haise's either sober or has a sufficient amount of serotonin, dopamine, oxytocin, or endorphins. Stress and anxiety is what triggers Haise's hallucinations.

Now for chapter nineteen's reviews…

Haise and Roma getting it on would be kinda dope, to be honest. It'd be casual sex, with little romance involved, if any. But yes, she deserves something in return. As to why she saved Haise in the first place, it'll be explained in the next chapter.

Again, thank you for writing a review Carla. Eto's memories have returned, and her wealth is now her own again. For the time being, I doubt Touka will want to open up another coffee shop, not until GOAT, CCG, and the United Front no longer pose a threat to her future plans.

Haru is going to be sad once she learns what happened to Shirazu, but will more than likely find solace and peace in knowing that his sacrifice wasn't in vain.

Urie is a hypocrite, and really doesn't have a problem turning on people that no longer benefit his ambition. Let's just say that according to him, Ihei and Furuta are disposable. Urie's fighting style is to literally keep fighting until he either wins or drops; there's no inbetween for him. Tier 15 is over the horizon, my friend.

RIP Shirazu, indeed.

Eto, much like Haise, has a tendency to put others before herself. So it's not that she's giving up on her future, it's just that she got excited about being able to help those she considered to be her actual friends and family. Eto never really had a loving family, hence why she's protective of them and their future.

So don't worry, Eto is not suicidal.

I thought about Haise waking up to Roma doing something naughty to him, but it sadly didn't fit her style or made sense for the setting. It wouldn't be fun for Roma if Haise was asleep and unresponsive to her touch.

Touka should have gotten fire coverage. Her frugal lifestyle screwed her before Haise could.

Thank you for reviewing Reviewbruh! Urie was the one who burnt down the coffee shop, and he did leave Saiko a hot mess. Touka has a bank account, so she'll be mostly fine, and Eto being extremely wealthy will benefit her. Roma being a millionaire from saving up what she made from her auctions is a plus too, especially for Haise. I actually used your idea by the way, to have them stay at Eto's apartment lol, so thank you for that. And you bet your ass Roma's fascination with Haise causing so much chaos in Tokyo will eventually lead her to wanting to be more than just friends with him.

Some of you straight up talking trash about my boy Shirazu, smh. I laughed when I read them, like the one about Shirazu cracking his own nuts, but still, shame on you lmao.

Eto does need to get laid, and she will soon. Don't worry, Haise probably won't pull out when they do finally fuck.

Saiko and Urie are most definitely over, now that he tried to kill her.

Saiko going to a casino sounds like a fun chapter to write to be honest, I might use that idea lmao.

Can Shirazu survive being crushed by a two-thousand kilogram slab of concrete? Idk, maybe lol.
