Happy early Halloween everyone! For the spookiest time of the year, I've decided to finally adapt one of my favorite arcs from season 5 of TMNT 2012 into this series. Hope you enjoy it!

Chapter 7: The Curse of Savanti Romero

Halloween night. The spookiest night of the year as some say. A night where the ghouls, ghosts, goblins, and monsters can come out to play. A time filled with terror and thriller…

… but also a time of giving and receiving.

Such was the case of trick-or-treating in New York City as jack-o-lanterns and Halloween ornaments hung from every brownstone stoop to every street lamp as children dressed in costume went around town with their parents, giggling happily with joy as they received candy from each door.

But it was not just small children who enjoyed the fun.

And amongst all this, April O'neil and Casey Jones strolled through the streets, taking in the sights as they continued trick-or-treating.

"Feels like ages since I've been out on Halloween." April said, adjusting the mohawk wig cap she was wearing for her costume as a punk. "After all the ninjas, robots, aliens, demons, super-mutants, warlords, and spirit warriors, fake monsters are a nice change."

"Ha! Gimmie real monsters any time." Casey laughed, dressed up in his normal vigilante gear with his face paint on. "Halloween is my favorite holiday. I go out every year!" He went up to the nearest brownstone, knocking on the door.

The door creaked open, with an old man standing behind it with a tired grumpy look on his face.

"Yo, yo, yo! Trick or treat, dawg!" Casey said, holding up his jack-o-lantern pail, only for the old man to slam the door in his face.

Casey growled. "Why you old stanky ol' creeper!" He grumbled indignantly.

April rolled her eyes. "Come on, Casey," She said, pulling her hockey-loving friend away from the door before he could go full goongala on the old man, "it's not worth it. Let's go meet the guys. They're always so excited for Halloween."

As April walked on, Casey stayed behind, brooding a bit from getting no candy from the grumpy old man.

Suddenly, Casey smirked as a wicked idea came to his head.

The doorbell to the same elderly man's home rang, causing him to grumpily get off the couch to go see who it was, no doubt some annoying teenagers like that punk kid with the hockey sticks.

As he opened the door, the old man was surprised to see no one was there before he looked down to see a lit jack-o-lantern on his doorstep, along with a strange fizzling sound that was coming from the pumpkin.

"Huh?" He mumbled before the jack-o-lantern suddenly exploded, splattering pumpkin innards all over him.

"You know, this is probably also gonna be Po, Tigress, Viper, Crane, Monkey, and Mantis' first Halloween!" April realized as she and Casey continued to stroll down the street. "Isn't that exciting?"

"Sure is." Casey agreed, tossing and catching a hockey puck in his hand. "It's too bad Karai, Shini, and the Mutanimals aren't here right now. It'd be great to introduce them."

April sighed. "Yeah, well, Karai and Shini are in Japan right now on a business trip, you know how it is being the leader of the Foot Clan and all. And the Mutanimals are taking care of something in Northampton so they probably won't be back for a while. But hey, at least we get to introduce some of our other friends to the spirit of Halloween."

"You got that right, Red." Casey grinned.

As they walked by, the two failed to notice a strange man with pale skin and a sharp black suit on watching them from behind the corner of an alley.

The man grinned in a sinister manner before disappearing into the shadows.

As April and Casey continued on trick-or-treating, they began to notice how the city had suddenly grown eerily quiet, quite unusual for the City that supposedly Never Sleeps.

To add onto that, they suddenly realized that the streets were suddenly rather vacant, not a soul in sight which only added to the creepiness as a light fog suddenly began to settle in like an eerie blanket.

April gazed around the empty streets tensely before she heard a small crunch and felt something break beneath her foot. She looked down to see a spilled candy bag, looking like it had been dropped in a hurry. And as she looked down the street, she noticed that there were several bags of candy littering the sidewalk and the road, which only added to the growing feeling of dread she was beginning to feel in the bottom of her stomach.

Suddenly, April and Casey heard a loud horrified scream before it suddenly faded away.

"You hear that, Red?" Casey asked as they both turned in the direction of the scream. "Didn't sound like a fake scream to me."

April furrowed her brow as she looked back down at the discarded bags of candy. "Something strange is going on..." She mused.

She and Casey then took off in the direction of the scream with the intent of investigating whatever caused it as they had a sneaking suspicion that this wasn't part of the holiday spirit.

As they rounded a corner, they heard the sounds of loud snarling growls, causing them to turn to the right.

Right there in front of them, from the shadows of the streets emerged three large black wolves. But these wolves looked much larger and more furry and aggressive than any regular wolf.

"Oh, snap!" Casey exclaimed while April gasped in shock. "Nice doggies. Cool doggies. Don't eat us, doggies!" He yelped as the three wolves lunged at them.

April used her powers to create a shield of psychic energy to block one of the wolves as it lunged at her. She then used her powers to shove the wolf back, sending it tumbling down the street.

Casey shoulder-checked one of the wolves, twirling his hockey stick as the last wolf lunged at him, Casey quickly using his taser glove to electrocute the wolf and knock it out.

With the wolves down, April and Casey made a break for it, trying to put as much distance as they could between themselves and the wolves.

As they came into a larger part of the street, April and Casey quickly noticed that they weren't the only ones who were having a wolf problem as people were running and screaming in the streets as wolves just like the ones April and Casey had seen chasing the people around.

They then noticed one of the wolves tackle a poor man who had been trying to get away, biting into his leg. The man let out a scream of pain before fur started to cover his body, his clothes shredding as his body grew larger, his features becoming more and more wolf-like before the transformation was complete, turning him into a large humanoid beast with a wolf-like face.

"Werewolves? Real werewolves ?" Casey exclaimed while April gasped in horror. "This is crazy, yo!"

April then heard a groan, forcing her to turn and see a man holding his head as he kneeled down to the ground, looking as though he were in pain.

"Sir? Are you alright?" She asked, reaching out to him out of concern.

The man seized up, glancing over his shoulder at her before he turned to her fully, his eyes glowing a pale blue as he let out an inhuman hiss at her, displaying a mouth of sharp fangs.

April yelped as she jumped back from the man. Casey quickly stood in front of her, brandishing his hockey stick at the man before a little girl suddenly jumped onto his shoulders from seemingly nowhere.

As Casey struggled to pull the girl off, April noticed the little girl had the same condition as the man, glowing pale blue eyes and sharp fangs instead of teeth.

Before April could try to help her friend, the little girl suddenly bit into Casey's neck, causing him to let out a scream of pain.

"CASEY!" April shrieked in horror.

Down in Ninja Turtles' sewer home, the Lair, the Turtles were already preparing for Halloween as they had hung up decorations all around the living room.

They had even taken the time to explain the holiday to Po and the Furious Five.

"So this Halloween is a holiday where you go out in disguise and demand candy from strangers or else you'll play a trick on them?" Tigress asked, trying to summarize everything the Turtles had told them.

Raph shrugged as he continued carving a jack-o-lantern. "Pretty much." He said.

"Although not quite as extreme as you may think." Donnie said. "The whole idea of Halloween is to hang out with friends, have fun, dress up as whatever you want, and eat all the candy you want."

Po practically salivated at the thought of eating all the candy he could get. "This sounds like an awesome holiday!" He then rushed over to the closet by the Turtles' rooms. "What would be a good costume? A king and a slave? Nah. A robot clown? Mmm, I don't know. Oh wait! What about…!"

As Po continued to scrounge around for ideas for his costume, Tigress rolled her eyes and smiled fondly at her panda.

"I think Po's right. This does sound like a fun holiday." Crane said positively.

"Yeah, it'll be fun to experience a new holiday." Viper smiled.

"Though you and Mantis may have to pose as props given that talking snakes and bugs aren't really a common thing in this dimension." Donnie said.

"Figures." Mantis grumbled before he smirked. "Though maybe Tigress could dress up as a scary witch doctor who loves snakes and bugs."

Viper giggled at the image while Tigress glared at the bug. "I think I'm fine the way I am." She said.

"Can't argue with that." Po said with a small smirk, taking a break from searching for a costume.

"Thanks, honey." Tigress smiled, giving Po a kiss on the cheek and getting her panda all flustered.

Down in the pit, Leo was preparing his costume while watching an episode of Space Heroes: The Next Generation.

In the show, Captain Ryan and Crankshaw Junior stood in the medbay as one their crew members lay on the bed, convulsing in pain.

"What's wrong with him, Mr, Gigabyte?" Captain Ryan asked the ship's doctor.

"Intriguing, Captain. Lieutenant LeTrois has been infected by a Xenowolf virus." Mr. Gigabyte reported gravely, typing the numbers on his data pad. "Unless we can stop the infection within the next star hour, by my calculations, his transformation will be… permanent!"

Captain Ryan cupped his chin in his hand in deep thought while Crankshaw Jr gasped.

"Captain, what are we going to do?!" Crankshaw Jr cried before Captain Ryan slapped him across the face.

"There's only one humane way to stop this virus and prevent him from turning into a space wolf." Captain Ryan said determinedly before he pulled out his blaster. "Lieutenant LeTrois must be destroyed!"

He then fired his blaster, vaporizing LeTrois all while Mr. Gigabyte yelped in the background.

Leo smiled as he watched the episode before going back to working on his costume. "Yes!" He grinned excitedly as he put the finishing touches on his costume. "This is gonna be perfect!"

"What's perfect?" Mikey bellowed in a low voice, wearing a creepy troll mask.

Leo yelped as he jumped away, the others laughing at Mikey's little prank.

"You should've seen your face!" Mikey chortled, taking off the mask.

"Boy, he got you good, Leo!" Monkey laughed as he and Mikey high-fived.

Leo cleared his throat, feeling a little embarrassed, but it wasn't enough to get him down. Not with the costume he had. "Ahem, uh, my costume is minty vintage," Leo said proudly, holding out his costume which was a blue sparkly shirt with Captain Ryan on it, "featuring Captain Ryan's rare B-uniform Captain's jacket from season three."

Raph coughed. "Nerd."

"I think that's great, Leo." Viper smiled kindly. "After all, you guys said this is the night where you get to be whoever you want to be."

Leo smiled back. "Thanks, Viper."

Donnie hummed as he took off his LARP wizard hat. "I can't decide if I should go as a zombie wizard, Albert Einstein, or…" he smirked, "Smooooth Donatello~!" He said, imagining himself wearing a white suit and hat, along with all the ladies he would get. He then turned to Po and the Five, "Have you guys picked your costumes yet?"

Po grinned, draping a white cloth over him. "I'll be going as a ghooooost! Ooooooo!" He said dramatically.

Tigress hummed, picking up Donnie's wizard hat and putting it, taking a liking to it. "I guess I could go as a witch." She said.

Monkey smirked as he grabbed a clown nose and put it on. "Eh? Eeeeeh?" He said, also putting on a clown hat.

Viper wrapped herself around Tigress' shoulders. "I could be the witch's beloved pet!" She said jokingly, earning a laugh from her feline sister.

Crane wore a piece of armor made of cardboard. "I figured I could go as a samurai janitor." He then picked up a wooden mop and playfully swung it around before swooping into the air.

Mantis shrugged. "Eh, I don't think I need a costume. I'm too small for that anyways."

Mikey turned to Raph, who was lounging on the couch. "What about you, Raph?" He asked his hotheaded brother.

Raph smirked. "I'm already in my costume." He said, jabbing his thumb into his chest. "This is the one night we can go out and people won't look at us like we're freaks!"

Mikey grinned cheekily. "You could always dress as a fairy princess~." He said slyly.

Ralph's widened before they narrowed dangerously. "That was ONE time!" He yelled before he got up and began chasing Mikey around the Lair while the others laughed.

As they laughed, Donnie suddenly felt his belt vibrate. Quickly realizing it was his T-phone, Donnie took it out of his belt to see who it was and saw the caller was April.

He answered the call. "Hey, April!" He said cheerfully to his girlfriend. "We were just getting ready-!"

"Donnie!" April's panicked voice came through the speaker, instantly getting his and the others' attention. "Casey's turned into a vampire and he's hunting me!"

"Ha! Classic Casey!" Mikey laughed through Ralph's strangling headlock.

"I'm serious!" April yelled. "There are monsters all over the city! You have to—!" The line suddenly went dead as April let out a terrified scream.

"April? April!" Donnie cried frantically into the T-phone, only to get no response, much to everyone's horror.

"Come on! Let's go!" Tigress ordered as they rushed towards the entrance of the Lair, ditching their costumes as they headed out.

April panted as she ran through the streets, adrenaline pumping through her veins as Casey chased after her, his eyes glowing a pale blue and his newly formed fangs flashing.

Desperate to get away, April used her powers to lift several dumpsters and trash cans and throw them into Casey, slowing him down and allowing her to gain some distance.

Once she was sure she had put enough distance between herself and her vampiric friend, April slowed down, giving herself a chance to breathe.

All the while, her eyes darted around the foggy streets frantically, her muscles tense and her heart racing as she made sure she was safe.

Nothing but silence filled the air as she realized she was alone.

April was tempted to breathe a sigh of relief, only to yelp as she saw Casey standing right in front of her.

Casey hissed as he began to approach her, April backing away from him as fast as she could.

"Casey, this isn't you! Please! Snap out of it!" April pleaded with her friend before sending out a blast of psychic energy, hoping to maybe snap Casey out whatever was doing this to him.

Casey, however, slapped the blast away like it was nothing. "Your dope mind tricks won't work on me, April!" He said.

Before April could run again, Casey grabbed her by the shoulders and kept her in place as he brandished his fangs.

April let out a scream as Casey moved to bite her, only for his fangs to meet the oak wood of Donnie's bo staff.

"Casey, what are you doing?!" Donnie exclaimed in astonishment as Leo, Raph, Tigress, and Po grabbed the vampiric vigilante while Viper, Mikey, Monkey, Crane, and Mantis tended to April.

Casey growled, grabbing Leo and throwing him off before shoving Tigress away while trying to break himself free of Raph and Po's hold.

"He's a lot stronger than he looks." Leo groaned as the others helped him and Tigress up.

"How is he even this strong? He's never shown this kind of strength before, has he?" Tigress said, to which the others shook their heads.

"Hey, you guys wanna give us a hand with this?!" Po yelled as Casey continued thrashing around in his and Raph's grip. "It's getting harder to hold him!"

Mikey's eyes then widened as an idea popped up. "I got it!" He exclaimed. "A vampire's worst enemy?" He then reached into his belt and pulled out a slice of pizza that was covered in anchovies and garlic. "Garlic anchovy pizza with extra garlic!"

Mikey then threw the slice at Casey, hitting him in the face and causing him to stumble back.

"Augh! Gross, dude!" Casey cried as he ripped the garlic pizza off of his face, gagging and looking like he was about to be sick.

With him distracted, the group all lunged at Casey, tackling him to the ground and quickly tying him up with Mikey's kusarigama chain, attaching the slice of garlic pizza for extra measure.

"Nice work, Mikey." Leo said, to which his baby brother grinned proudly.

"Yeah, that was some quick thinking on your part." Tigress added.

Casey hissed and thrashed in his chains, but couldn't break them as the garlic weakened him.

"I don't believe it! Casey really is a vampire?!" Raph said, unable to believe that his best friend had been turned into a monster.

"What are vampires?" Crane asked.

"Vampires are monsters that look like humans, only they have freaky powers like super strength, hypnosis, the ability to turn into a bat, and the power to turn into mist. They're immortal beings that have a thirst for blood and are overly sensitive to sunlight." Leo explained. "They can also transfer this condition through bites."

Po, Viper, Crane, Monkey, Mantis, and even Tigress looked pale at that information.

"You mean, if Casey were to bite us, we'd turn into vampires too?" Po asked fearfully, to which Leo nodded

"And it's not just Casey." April said. "The city's been overrun by monsters! Real monsters! Vampires, werewolves, you name it!"

Donnie kneeled down in front of Casey, holding his lip up and inspecting his fangs. "Whoa! You aren't kidding!" He gasped with wide eyes. "We gotta get him back to my lab."

"You think you can find a cure, Dee?" Monkey asked.

"Well, if it's biological, maybe." Donnie said. "But-"

Donnie was cut off as a man snuck up to them, and before any of them could react, the man bit into April's neck, causing her to let out a blood-curdling scream.

"April, NO!" Donnie cried in horror.

Raph quickly rushed forward and punched the man hard in the face, knocking him off of April and sending the man staggering back before Tigress hit the man with a hard kick to the gut, sending him sliding down the street.

As the man slid back, several people dropped down from the rooftops, all of them vampires as they all surrounded the group along with several werewolves.

"There's too many!" Po cried before he spotted a small opening into an alleyway. "Go, go, go!"

The group quickly made a mad dash (or in Crane's case, a mad fly) for the alley, dragging Casey with them.

Seeing the large crowd of vampires now trying to cut them off, Crane flew in front of the group and flapped his wings, sending a powerful gust of air that sent the vampires flying back, allowing the group to flee into the alley.

"Agh!" April cried as she held her shoulder where she had been bitten while Donnie helped her run. "It feels like my… blood is boiling!"

"Stay with us, April! You have to fight it! Try to concentrate." Donnie said, trying to cover the desperation in his voice with an encouraging exterior.

"We have to get off the streets! It's too dangerous down here!" Tigress said as they continued to run from the massive horde of vampires and werewolves after them.

"Come on! This way!" Leo said, turning a corner leaping onto a dumpster, using it as a stepping stone to leap onto a short rooftop.

The others quickly followed suit, and just in time too as the mob of vampires rounded the corner and went right on by.

Leo, Po, Tigress, Raph, Mikey, Viper, Crane, and Monkey took a moment to catch their breath while Donnie tended to April and made sure Casey was still chained up securely.

"This… has gotta be… one of the most terrifying experiences of my life so far." Po panted, out of breath.

"No arguments here." Monkey said nervously.

"Yeah, ditto." Crane agreed.

"Where are all these freaks coming from?!" Raph exclaimed in frustration.

Suddenly, the solid brick wall behind them exploded, sending the group stumbling back in shock. From the rubble emerged the silhouette of a humanoid man with sickly green skin and stitches and electrical machinery.

"Ahh! Frankenstein too?!" Mikey cried as the others began to flee, Raph having to drag his youngest brother by his mask tail to get him moving.

The group quickly dove into the alleyway below them, hoping to lose the monster, only to encounter the same problem as before as vampires began to slowly swarm them from the streets.

"Oh no. It's a dead end!" Mantis cried.

Knowing they would likely have to fight their way out of this, Leo, Raph, Donnie, and Mikey quickly drew their weapons while Po, Tigress, Viper, Crane, Monkey, and Mantis took their respective kung fu stances as they formed a protective circle.

April moved to take a combative position, only to feel a surge of pain running through her muscles, causing her to keel over holding her gut in pain.

"April…?" Donnie said worriedly, turning to her.

But his voice was only a faded blur as April felt her body beginning to heat up and she felt like she was going to be sick.

She felt thirsty. So very thirsty. She needed something to drink, she needed… she needed…

"April?" Donnie asked again, turning to reach out to her.

In response, April swung her arm, sending out a blast of psychic energy that sent the group flying out of the alley and tumbling into the street while also knocking off the garlic pizza on Casey's chains.

With the garlic removed, Casey easily broke out of the chains, quickly rushing over to April and the other vampires as they crowded around the Ninja Turtles, Po, and the Furious Five.

Donnie struggled to get up, devastated to see the girl of his dreams supposedly succumbing to her infection. "April, you can't do this! This isn't you! You have to fight it!" He pleaded desperately, trying anything to get through to his girlfriend.

April simply stood up, a smile beginning to spread on her lips as she tore off her mohawk cap, revealing her ginger hair and ponytail.

"But why would I fight it?" April asked, her eyes still closed, sounding as though she had never felt better than she ever had in her life. "I feel so… good."

April's eyes then opened, revealing them to be a glowing pale blue as she stared directly into Donnie's eyes, with a smirk on her face. "Come with me, Donnie…" She purred in a seductive tone as she extended her arm in a 'come hither' gesture. "... I can make all that fear go away…" She flashed her newly formed fangs with a grin. "... just one bite."

Donnie stared back into April's glowing eyes, unable to look away as everything seemed to fade into the background. His mind began to feel foggy as April's ideas rushed through his head.

Yes, he should go with April. He loved her, didn't he? She promised to make the fear he was feeling go away, and he knew he could trust her. He could…

Donnie was suddenly snapped out of his trance as Raph slapped him across the face, causing him to yelp as reality returned to him.

"Get it together, man!" Raph barked at him as he pulled his sais back out while the others formed a protective circle around each other.

April hissed at the opportunity to seduce her loved one passing. She would make Raphael pay dearly for that. But no matter, they had them surrounded now.

"There's too many of them!" Po cried as more and more vampires began to crowd around them. "Crane, can't you lift us all out of here?"

"No!" Crane replied. "It'd be too much weight for me to handle! Plus, I don't think I'll have enough time to gather all of you!"

"So what do we do?!" Viper cried fearfully.

As if in answer, a bright white light suddenly appeared in the sky above the group, almost like a miniature sun.

Before their eyes, the light expanded into a bright, glowing doorway, and out of it floated a young teenage woman in a dark blue leotard, cape, boots, and gloves, along with light blue leggings and sleeves. She had silver shoulder armor and wrist armor along with a metallic helmet shaped like gears on top of her head. To add onto that, she was holding a scepter with a large hourglass on one end in her hands.

As she floated out of the door, her foot caught on the edge, causing her to lightly trip mid-air and her cape to go over her head. "Jinkies!" She grumbled as she adjusted herself and her cape.

"Renet?" Leo questioned in surprise.

"You know her?" Tigress asked.

"Hang on!" Renet yelled before she held out the Time Scepter, with the hourglass part of it glowing a crackling gold.

Before any of them knew, Leo, Po, Tigress, Raph, Donnie, Mikey, Viper, Crane, Monkey, and Mantis suddenly began to float into the air away from the vampiric mob and towards the time mistress.

"Renet! My hero!" Mikey cheered, eyes sparkling.

Using the Time Scepter, Renet used it's cosmic energies to float herself, the Turtles, Po, and the Five all the way to a tall enough rooftop where the vampires and werewolves couldn't reach them before setting them down.

"Turtle Warriors! Yes! I was worried the Time Scepter wouldn't have enough power!" Renet exclaimed with relief.

"Renet!" Mikey exclaimed happily, wrapping his arms around her in a tight hug.

Renet chuckled. "It's good to see you too, Mikey." She said, patting his head.

"Okay, okay, slow down. Who are you?" Mantis questioned, hopping onto Mikey's shoulder.

"Yeah, and how'd you make us float like that? That was awesome!" Po said excitedly.

Renet turned to Po and the Five and her eyes widened. "Wow, the Dragon Warrior and the Furious Five!" She exclaimed in awe, much to Po, Tigress, Viper, Crane, Monkey, and Mantis' surprise. "Master Po, the Dragon Warrior! Master Tigress, the Unbreakable Warrior! Master Viper, the Dancer of Doom! Master Crane, the Flier of Grace! Master Monkey, the Prankster of Peril! And Master Mantis, the little Bug who hits Hard! This is so grocking cold!"

Po, Tigress, Viper, Crane, Monkey, and Mantis could only look completely surprised and even a bit shocked while the Turtles looked surprised as well.

"Okay, how do you know us?" Crane questioned.

"Because you guys are some of the greatest kung fu of all time!" Renet replied. "You guys are just as famous and well known in my time as the Turtle Warriors!"

"Whoa, that is awesome!" Po exclaimed.

"Wait, your time?" Viper asked in confusion.

"Okay, quick introductions, dudes." Mikey said, stepping in between Renet and the others. "Po, Tigress, Viper, Crane, Monkey, Mantis, this is Renet. She's a Time Master from the future!"

"Actually, I'm an assistant Time Master… in training." Renet sheepishly added. "Still, getting back to the matter at hand, thank goodness you're all okay!"

"All okay?" Donnie questioned rather incredulously. "But what about April?"

"Yeah! She and Casey got turned into blood-suckers!" Raph added.

Leo looked over the edge of the roof and down into the foggy streets below. "It's not just them." He said. "Look!"

The group all gathered at the edge of the roof as they watched people in the streets fleeing for their lives from vampires and werewolves, chaos and havoc reeking from the roads as cars crashed and property was destroyed.

"I don't understand." Leo said, more to himself than the others. "How could this happen? What the heck is going on?!"

"These monsters have to be coming from somewhere." Tigress mused. "But where?"

"It's Savanti Romero." Renet said. "He's behind it." She then tapped the Time Scepter, the hourglass part of it creating an image of the demonic mutant/evil Time Master.

"Who's Savanti?" Monkey asked.

"Basically an evil jerk lord who wants to rule all of time and space." Raph explained, folding his arms over his chest.

"But I thought we got rid of that ugly jerkface!" Mikey said.

"He escaped." Renet explained before she turned away guiltily. "And… it's kind of my fault. Let me give you the seven-eleven."

"You mean the four-one-one?" Raph corrected.

Renet ignored him. "My boss, Lord Simultaneous, wanted me to check up on Savanti where we banished him to the Cretaceous Period. He got the jump on me and stole my emergency back-up time jumper. All Time Masters have one in case we get stuck in the past. I was able to track him back here, but I was too late." She lowered her head shamefully.

Leo, Po, Tigress, Mikey, Viper, Crane, Monkey, and Mantis looked stunned at Renet's story while Donnie facepalmed in frustration and Raph shook his head in disappointment.

"Uh, where did he get all these monsters?" Leo asked upon regaining his composure.

"He somehow recruited them on his trip back through time so he can rule the world." Renet explained.

Raph grumbled before he strolled up to Renet. "You really are the worst time traveler ever. The worst!" He said angrily.

Mikey quickly came to Renet's defense, shoving Raph back. "Back off, bro! She needs our help!" He retorted before he turned to Renet and smiled. "Don't worry, girl. I got your back. And front."

Po, Crane, Monkey, and Mantis couldn't help but stare at Mikey for how he was acting.

"Does he have a thing for her?" Po asked.

"I think he does." Mantis replied.

Tigress lightly placed a hand on Raph's shoulder. "Raph, calm down. Getting angry isn't going to help anyone." She said patiently.

Reluctantly, Raph backed down.

"We have to find a way to stop this madness." Leo said determinedly.

"But… what about April and Casey?" Donnie questioned.

"If my plan succeeds, your friends will return to normal as if this never happened." Renet stated.

"We can do that?" Crane asked in surprise.

"You bet." Renet said. "All we have to do-"

"Ah, Renet."

The group froze before turning to the sky to see the evil demonic mutant Time Master himself hovering above them in all his terrible glory.

"That's Savanti Romero?" Viper questioned.

"Yep, that's him alright." Renet confirmed.

"I see you have found me, Renet! And I see you've recruited some new allies as well besides the Turtle Warriors." Savanti said with a tone of utter superiority before he gazed down at Po, Tigress, Viper, Crane, Monkey, and Mantis. "Ah, the Dragon Warrior and the Furious Five. Truly an honor to meet such high-esteemed and accomplished warriors such as yourselves." He gave them a mock bow. "But you must realize that it's too late! In only a matter of days, this entire city will be infected, becoming my monster slaves." He then pulled out Renet's emergency back-up time jumper. "Then the future will belong to monsters… monsters such as I, Savanti Romero!"

"Yeesh, this guy's got quite the ego, huh?" Mantis quietly mused.

Leo, Raph, Donnie, and Mikey drew their weapons while Po, Tigress, Viper, Crane, Monkey, and Mantis all took combative kung fu stances. "That's not gonna happen, lemonhead!" Leo said defiantly.

Leo, Po, Tigress, Raph, Donnie, Mikey, Viper, Crane, Monkey, and Mantis all jumped high into the air, lunging at Savanti with the intent of striking him down, but the evil Time Master used his futuristic gauntlet to create a shielding orb around himself, preventing any of their hits from landing.

"I must thank you for finding the Turtles. As well as the Dragon Warrior and the Furious Five." Savanti said to Renet before he thrust his hand out, sending the group flying back and crashing against the rooftop leaving only Renet. "Now I can destroy them and assure my future!"

Renet's eyes narrowed determinedly. "Not if I have anything to say about it!" She then raised the Time Scepter before slamming it down, causing it to flash brightly enough that Savanti was forced to shield his eyes.

When the brightness dimmed, she, along with the Turtles, Po, and the Five were gone.

Savanti let out a growl of anger. "Renet! I'll get you!"

Leo, Po, Tigress, Raph, Donnie, Mikey, Viper, Crane, Monkey, and Mantis all yelled in alarm as they tumbled through the time between time with Renet leading the way, the clouds all around them crackling with thunder and cosmic lightning before a large glowing doorway opened and the group fell out, landing on soft sandy ground.

They groaned as they sat up, immediately feeling the searing heat of the sun beating down upon them.

"What just happened?" Crane questioned, brushing his ruffled feathers.

Leo rubbed his head as his vision cleared and his eyes adjusted to the sudden brightness. "Where are we?"

Donnie lifted his head, scouring around before his eyes landed on one particular thing that made his eyes widen in realization. "We're in… Ancient Egypt?!" He exclaimed, causing the others to look up and see the Sphinx and the Egyptian Pyramids.

"Did we just… time travel?!" Viper questioned in shock.

"I… think we did." Tigress let out.

"Freaaaky." Mantis commented.

"More like awesome." Po said.

"Wow. The Egyptian Pyramids." Donnie breathed in amazement. "And the Sphinx! Look! It's still has it's nose!"

"Ooh, a nose!" Raph grumbled sarcastically. "Big deal! What are we doing here, Renet?"

"Yeah and what does this have to do with Savanti Romero?" Leo questioned. "And when are we, exactly?"

"The Nile Valley, in the Dark Ages, the late Fifth Century." Renet answered, checking the Time Scepter. "This was the first time and place Savanti arrived to start building his monster army." The light emitting from Scepter suddenly began blinking, indicating that it was low on power. "Oh grok! I should have known that all that time travel would drain the Scepter." She cursed.

"So we're stuck here? Forever?" Mantis questioned irritably.

"Don't worry, it still has enough power to get us back, but I'll have to conserve energy." Renet reassured them. "There won't be a place to plug it in for almost two millenia. Very not cold."

"Then we should get moving." Tigress stated. "Let's go."

Quickly the group headed down the sandy hill and towards the pyramid behind the Sphinx, coming upon a small entrance that was blocked up by large blocks of rubble. Once the group had removed the rubble, they were free to go inside, though they had to give Po an extra shove since he got stuck as soon as he tried to squeeze in.

"Savanti called upon an ancient Egyptian curse to raise the mummy of the Pharaoh." Renet explained as they crawled through the tunnels.

"Pharaoh?" Monkey asked.

"The ancient ruler of Egypt." Donnie explained.

"We have to get to the tomb before Savanti does." Renet said as they came out of the tunnel and into a larger room where they were able to stand up. "I'll zap him, reverse the curse, and send Savanti back to his time prison."

They briefly stopped in the room to catch their breath and take in everything around them, Donnie in particular looking at everything with a fascinated grin.

Mikey noticed the writings on the walls, looking at them with interest. "Whoa, what's with all that graffiti?" He asked.

"They're hieroglyphics." Donnie explained. "Egyptian writing was based on pictorial symbols that represented words rather than individual letters, sort of like Chinese characters or Japanese kanji. "

"Can you read it?" Viper asked.

Donnie smirked as he pulled out his T-phone. "With my nerd-approved custom translator app, you bet I can." He chuckled as he scanned the glyphs. "I knew this would come in handy one day." He then heard a small ping from his phone as the translation finished.

"So what does it say?" Crane asked.

"'If mortal flesh enters this tomb, the living shall die while death shall rise'." Donnie read the translation.

Po shivered while the others looked rather disturbed. "Yeah, that's not creepy or anything."

Mikey rather rudely slapped the T-phone out of Donnie's hands. "Oh, snap! A freaky curse, yo!"

"Don't worry, Mikey." Renet said. "Most tombs were inscribed with warnings not to disturb the dead, but it's just superstition."

"Um, cool." Raph said with a rather anxious smile. "If it's all the same, can you go first?" He gestured to a dark part of the room ahead of them. "Thanks."

Renet stepped forward, using the Time Scepter as a torch as it lit up the room in a bright glow.

The room itself was a small chamber with hieroglyphics and pictures covering the walls, adding to the ambience of the place.

"So grocking cold!" Renet exclaimed as she and Donnie looked around the room in excitement.

As they all explored the room, Po glanced at one of the walls and noticed a rather frightening picture of a human with a human's body, causing him to yelp in fright before realizing it was just a picture. "Oh, phew, thought it was one of Shen's wolves for a second." He said with relief.

"Hey, come look at this!" Tigress said, pointing to a wall on the other side of the room that was covered in hieroglyphics and pictures that were different from the ones on the other walls.

"What is it, some kind of riddle?" Leo questioned.

"Donnie, translation please!" Mantis said.

"Wait, a riddle? Like a booby trap?" Mikey questioned before fearfully clinging to Renet. "This is a bad idea, dudes!"

"Yeah, I'm not sure if we should be messing with the possibly haunted tomb of an ancient ruler." Po added nervously. "You know, house of the dead and all?"

Donnie scoffed as he brought up the translator app on his T-phone. "You guys watch too many horror movies. There are no booby traps in Egyptian pyramids." He then stepped forward to analyze the hieroglyphics more closely, only for his foot to land on a tile that clicked as soon as he put his weight on it.

Everyone gasped as the room began to shake and rumble. "I told you!" Both Mikey and Po exclaimed at the same time.

Slowly the ceiling began to descend down towards them, large sharp spikes slowly emerging as a large rock slab slammed over the entrance where they came in from, blocking their only way out.

"Uh, Donnie?! We could use that translation right now!" Crane exclaimed as the others began to panic, looking around desperately for another way out.

"If I'm reading this right, it says, 'Only a worthy protector shall enter'." Donnie answered, panicking as well. "Th-th-th-that could mean anything!"

"Well think fast!" Tigress said as the spikes came closer and closer. "Or else we're going to be full of holes!"

"Yeah, like swiss cheese!" Raph added.

"C'mon, Donnie, we can do this!" Leo said encouragingly, though it held a panicky undertone to it. "What would be considered a worthy protector for this place?"

Donnie placed his hand on his chin in deep thought as he forced himself to calm down. "Well, this is a tomb, so it's gotta be Anubis! He's the god of the dead." Donnie said, pointing over to the picture on the wall that had previously scared Po.

"No, wait!" Renet cried, but it was too late.

The smart turtle quickly rushed over to the picture, feeling for any sort of tile in the picture that he could push before he finally found it.

As soon as he pushed the tile, the ceiling came to a stop but for only a split-second before it started to lower again, much to everyone's horror.

"Good instincts, Donnie. Nice!" Raph said sarcastically as he, Leo, Tigress, and Po were now trying to hold the ceiling up.

"I tried to tell you, Anubis couldn't be a worthy guardian because he was only known in the First Dynasty and was replaced by Osiris in the Middle Kingdom!" Renet explained frantically. "We're in the New Kingdom timeline! It has to be a god from this time period we need to find!"

"Great, now you tell us!" Monkey remarked as they were now on their knees with the ceiling so low.

"Quickly, just pick one!" Leo shouted.

"But don't pick the wrong one!" Viper added. "Or we'll be crushed!"

As Donnie crawled around trying to find another deity to pick, the ceiling came lower to the point where the group was now completely on the floor.

"One thing's for sure, we're all gonna be a lot thinner!" Mantis remarked.

"I don't want to be thin! I'm a panda!" Po cried.

But just when they thought all was lost, Mikey spotted an ancient picture of an Egyptian crocodile. Curious, he used the chukon-bu part of his nunchuck to press the tile above the crocodile's head.

As soon as he pressed it, the ceiling immediately stopped it's descent. It was silent for a moment before the ceiling miraculously began to rise back up to it's original place, allowing the group to stand up and breathe one huge sigh of relief.

"Wow. Nice job, Mikey." Viper said.

"How did you know to pick the crocodile?" Donnie asked, smiling rather proudly at his youngest brother.

"He looks like Leatherhead, and he's the best protector a turtle could have!" Mikey replied happily, gesturing to the picture of the crocodile.

"Of course! That's Sobek. He was the protector of the king." Renet said in realization. She then gave Mikey a light peck on the cheek, causing a love-struck grin to spread on his face. "Mikey, you're the bee's fleas!"

Monkey snickered. "'Bee's fleas'?" He whispered to Mantis, who also chuckled, only for them to be silenced by a stern hiss from Viper.

Just then, the room rumbled as a part of the floor ahead of them slid open, revealing a stairway down into the darkened inner chambers of the tomb.

Going down the stairs, the group found themselves passing by several archways that had many mummies lying against them.

"Far out! It's very unusual to have so many mummies buried in one tomb." Renet said in amazement, getting a closer look at some of the mummies.

"Well, not necessarily." Donnie stated. "Often, families would reuse the same coffins and move the old mummies out."

"Yeah, yeah, yeah, very interesting." Mikey brushed off, waving a hand in his smart brother's face in a very curt manner. He then walked up to one of the mummies, getting into it's face with a small smirk. "They're not so scary, though. They're wrinkly, smelly, and have a terrible fashion sense."

Tigress frowned slightly as she grabbed Mikey by his mask tails, earning a yelp from him, before pulling him along. "And you have a terrible sense of tact." She said bluntly, not wishing for Mikey or anyone else to disrespect the dead.

"And the wrappings are part of the mummification process." Renet added as they continued down the stairs. "They preserved their bodies for the afterlife by removing the organs and wrapping-"

"Okay, we get it! Enough history lessons already, geez!" Raph said, sounding repulsed while some of the others like Viper, Monkey, and Crane looked grossed out.

As they continued down the stairs, Po shivered as he rubbed his arms together to keep warm. Not only was it rather cold in this place, but there was something about it that just didn't feel right. This place… this tomb… had this strange aura, like a sea of black water that was totally bottomless…

… an aura of death.

Just then, Po felt something tap him on the shoulder, causing him to look over, only to see nothing.

Po quickly brushed it off, it could have been any number of things; a pebble, a bug, or maybe just a simple muscle spasm.

But just when he had managed to trick himself into thinking he'd imagined it, Po felt another tap on his shoulder, this one he felt very clearly.

This time Po completely turned around, looking around the upper part of the room to see what had touched him, but once again he saw nothing. "There's someone poking me. Okay, who's touching me?" Po said aloud, causing the group to stop. "Mantis, is that you? 'Cause this isn't funny!"

"I'm right here, man." Mantis said, causing Po to turn back and see the little bug sitting on Raph's shoulder with an irritated look.

Now Po was confused beyond belief. If Mantis hadn't been the one touching him, then who had?

Just then he felt something grab his shoulder, causing him to look at…

… and his eyes widened in terror upon seeing the rotting disembodied hand grasping his arm.

"AHH!" Po screamed, freaking out as he grabbed the hand and pulled off his shoulder, throwing it away. "Mummy hand!"

The hand zoomed past the startled group, hitting the wall before falling to the ground. Then, before the group's very eyes, the hand crawled across the floor like a spider onto one of the mummies, reattaching itself to a mummy that had seemingly lost it's arm.

The mummies then all lurched to life as they lumbered towards the group, groaning horridly with their arms outstretched.

With a quick flash of his katana, Leo sliced several arms off of the mummies right in front of them, but that didn't seem to be enough. So he used his other sword to slash the mummies in half, which actually seemed to kill them.

Po yelped as one of the mummies lunged at him, quickly grabbing it by the shoulders as the mummy pushed him into the wall. Thinking fast, Po kicked the mummy in the knee, practically breaking it before swiping it off it's feet, grabbing it, and slamming it into the wall. "Sorry, Mr. Dead-Mummy-Guy!" Po said apologetically.

Tigress punched a mummy away before slashing at another one with her claws, slicing it's head off before she grabbed the body and threw it into another of mummies before she then kicked them away.

Mikey quickly batted one mummy in the head before extending the hidden blade in his nunchucks, using them to slice the arms and legs off of several mummies before throwing his kusarigama chain around one mummy and whipping it around like a wrecking ball, slamming into another group of mummies.

Donnie whipped out the hidden naginata blade in his staff as a mummy slid in behind him. He quickly turned around and yelped as he stumbled back, slicing off the mummy's arms as he bumped into Raph, the two stumbling down the stairs.

"Quickly! Down the stairs!" Renet said as the others rushed down, Raph impaling one of the mummies on his sais before throwing it into another mummy. One of the mummies then tried to grab him from behind, but Raph used his sais to grip the mummy's wrist and throw it over his shoulder.

Monkey drop-kicked one of the mummies into the wall before jumping and punching another mummy away. He then grabbed two mummies by their heads and flipped over them, slamming them into the ground and shattering them to bits.

Viper wrapped her tail around one of mummies wrists before she spun around and threw it at several of the mummies behind them. She then ducked under the mindless swing of one of the other mummies before she slithered up and wrapped herself around the mummy's arms, controlling him like a puppet as she forced him to punch several of the other mummies.

Mantis picked up one of the mummies by the foot and spun it around like a club, slamming into any mummies who dared come near him, and there were quite a lot who did. After releasing his hold on the mummy, Mantis then kicked another mummy in the chest, sending it into a group of mummies and knocking them over like bowling pins.

One of the mummies tried to swing it's arm at Donnie, but the purple clad turtle spun around the mummy, slamming his staff into it's gut, bopping it on the side of the neck, before finally slicing it in half with his naginata blade. He then impaled another mummy with his blade before ripping it out and spinning around, slicing another mummy behind him in half, with both halves landing on the other's body.

With the rest of the mummies behind them, the group quickly rushed down the steps towards the inner chambers when the stairs suddenly converted into a downward ramp, causing them all to yelp as they slid down with increasing speed as the bottom of the stairs opened up into a large pit.

Leo quickly pushed himself to his feet and used them to stop himself at the very edge of the pit, nearly losing his balance as he looked down into the pit, seeing four rolling spike-grinders that would no doubt lead to a quick and very painful death should he fall in.

He had just about regained his balance when the others suddenly slammed into him, knocking them all over the edge and sending them screaming into the pit.

Acting quickly, Leo pulled out his grappling hook and fired it up at the ceiling. The hook instantly pierced the rock and caught on, stopping Leo's descent as everyone else grabbed onto the line while Donnie stabbed his naginata blade into the wall to halt his fall.

They weren't given any chance to breathe though as the mummies began to come down towards them, with some of them even falling into the grinders and getting crushed to a pulp.

"Try reaching the other side!" Leo shouted.

Reaching into his belt, Donnie pulled out his grappling hook and fired it at the wall opposite of them before tying the rope around his staff, creating a tightrope.

"Crane! Take Po, Viper, and Mantis and get them to the other side, the rest of us go on the rope!" Leo ordered.

Crane nodded before letting go of the rope, using his wings to float above the spike-grinders. He then grabbed Po by the arms and lifted him up with all his strength while Viper wrapped herself around his neck and Mantis jumped onto his hat.

While Crane flew them to the other side, the others quickly crawled up the tightrope to the other side with Donnie going first, then Leo, the Tigress, then Raph, then Monkey, then Renet, and finally Mikey.

As Mikey crawled along the rope, several of the mummies came down onto the rope, grabbing Mikey and attempting to pull him down when Renet bashed their heads off with the Time Scepter and grabbed Mikey's hand, pulling him up while the rest of the mummies fell into the spike-grinders.

The group took a brief moment to rest as they were exhausted from this dangerous endeavor while Donnie pulled the grappling hooks up along with his staff.

"Well… that wasn't such a chore, now was it?" Po asked jokingly, only to get deadpanned looks and glares from the others. "Okay, not really."

"Guys, we're here." Renet said as they looked up towards the doorway in front of them. "The Pharaoh's chamber."

As the group entered the Pharaoh's tomb, the group couldn't help but around in amazement.

The chamber was huge, with Egyptian writing and pictures on every wall and even on the ceiling, and in the four corners of the room were four statues, each one of an important Egyptian deity. There was Osiris, Isis, Horus, and Set.

"Amazing, a completely undisturbed burial chamber of a Pharaoh." Donnie breathed in awe as he gazed up at the statue of Horus.

Something must have been triggered in the chamber as there was suddenly a soft clicking sound before the ceiling began to open up, allowing sunlight to shine in on the center of the chamber.

And in the light was revealed the Pharaoh's golden sarcophagus that sat in the middle of an altar. On the side of the sarcophagus were four Egyptian jars that held his organs, such as the stomach, the intestines, the liver, and the lungs.

"So… now what?" Monkey asked. "Did… did we do it?"

"Well, we made it here before Savanti did, so that has to mean we did it!" Renet said excitedly. "That is the cat's pajamas!"

"There's no way that chump is getting the mummy now!" Raph remarked with a smirk.

"Woo-hoo! We did it!" Po cheered, throwing his arms up in the air in victory.

"Yeah! Take that, lemonhead!" Mantis said with a grin.

"Booyakabunga!" Mikey cheered.

"Hold on, guys." Tigress said cautiously. "Aren't we forgetting something? You know, like… the mummy's curse?"

Just then, the sarcophagus began to lightly shake as the lid began to open, causing the group to gasp.

"Uh, what was that again about the living dying and the dead rising?" Leo asked, nervously reaching for his katana.

Renet winced as the realization sunk in. "We may have made a mistake entering the tomb." She said regretfully.

The lid to the sarcophagus was pushed over as the Pharaoh rose from his tomb, his flesh brown and rotting and his sockets without eyes as he wore withered white bandages all over his body along with a royal Egyptian Head Crown and a half-pleated kilt, all while holding an ankh staff in his hands.

The Turtles, Po, the Five, and Renet then heard the sound of laughter coming from behind them, forcing them to turn around and see none other than Savanti Romero standing behind them.

"Ah! I must thank you for doing all my hard work for me." Savanti said with a smug grin as the Pharaoh stepped out of his sarcophagus. "You led me right into the tomb and even stumbled into the curse. Now, the Mummy of the Pharaoh is mine to command!"

Savanti then strode past the Turtles, Po, the Five, and Renet, approaching the Pharaoh and bowing to him respectfully. "Great Pharaoh, Lord of the Nile, Ruler of Egypt, heed me!" He said. "These mortal infidels have disturbed your sacred tomb. Join me and destroy them, and the world will be ours!"

Leo, Raph, Donnie, and Mikey drew their weapons while Po, Tigress, Viper, Crane, Monkey, and Mantis all took their respective kung fu stances, all of them ready for a fight.

Renet, however, had a different idea in mind. "We're the ones who woke him up. Maybe we can reason with him." She said before she walked up to the altar.

Viper quickly grabbed Renet by the wrist with her tail and pulled her back. "No offense, Renet, but I don't think you'd be the right person to talk to him." She said apologetically. "Let me do the talking, as someone who's part of a noble family."

Viper then slithered onto the altar, up next to Savanti. "Oh great and noble Pharaoh, Ruler of Egypt, please heed my words!" She said in a very formal manner, bowing her head to him. "Please accept me and my companions' humblest apologies for disturbing your tomb and your slumber."

The Pharaoh stared at before he lowered his head closely as if to inspect her, causing Viper to pull her head back with a slight gulp as her sky blue eyes stared back at the Mummy's eyeless sockets.

"And… please return to your… resting place?" Viper finished nervously.

Several seconds passed by as the Pharaoh continued to stare at her before he scowled, indicating he had already made his decision.

Raising his ankh staff, the Pharaoh bright it down in the ground, creating a flash of golden light that blasted Leo, Po, Tigress, Raph, Donnie, Mikey, Viper, Crane, Monkey, and Mantis back.

"Well, it was worth a try." Po groaned as he struggled to sit up.

"I don't suppose you know ancient Sumerian?" Renet asked, to which Viper shook her head.

The Pharaoh then raised his arm towards him as his palm began to glow. Then, before the group's very eyes, several golden hawk apparitions looking like they were made out of sand flew out of his hand towards the group, forcing them to scatter across the room.

"Use your magic wand!" Raph told Renet.

"I can't! The Scepter is too low on power!" Renet said before she and Raph were forced to dodge out of the way of another sand-hawk.

The sand-hawks flew around the room, following the group like heat-seeking missiles, with the group barely managing to dodge them.

Getting an idea, Raph managed to capture the attention of one of the sand-hawks, leading it back over to the altar before he jumped onto the sarcophagus and flipped over the Pharaoh, causing the sand-hawk to hit the Mummey and supposedly weaken him.

Taking advantage of this, Raph lunged at the Pharaoh, landing several hard punches in his gut before aiming a kick at his head, but the Mummy didn't seem to be affected by any of that, instead backhanding Raph away like he was nothing more than an insect.

Tigress leapt onto the altar, hitting the Pharaoh in the head with a flying kick which seemed to stagger him. Landing in front of him, Tigress jumped into the air, unleashing a devastating spinning-kick on the Mummy before landing and punching him in the chest as hard as she could, sending the pharaoh sliding back.

As he recovered, Leo and Donnie jumped onto the altar as well, both flashing their respective weapons.

The Pharaoh turned towards them, summoning his crook and flail into his hands as he rushed towards them.

Leo clashed his twin katanas against the Pharaoh's crook and flail, but quickly found himself losing this contest of strength as the Mummy began to push him back.

Donnie leapt high into the air, and with a yell, brought his bo staff down on the Pharaoh's head, only for the Mummy to smack him away.

Then, using his crook, the Pharaoh snagged onto Donnie's ankle and slammed him into Leo, knocking them both off the altar.

Tigress then came in, back-kicking the Pharaoh and almost sending him off the altar, but the Mummy regained his balance as he clashed with the Master of Tiger Style. And this time, Tigress actually seemed to be evenly matched against the Pharaoh in terms of raw strength, with her gritting her teeth and snarling while the Mummy scowled and growled.

Crane flew in, trying to help as he flipped forward and landed a hard kick on the Pharaoh's head. But much like with Donnie, the Pharaoh threw him off and used his crook to snag Crane's leg, slamming him into Tigress and knocking the both off the altar.

Po then slammed into the Pharaoh like a freight train, sending them off the altar and crashing into the ground, with the panda squashing the Mummy under his weight. But despite how heavy he was, the Pharaoh quickly threw the Dragon Warrior off. Po quickly regained his balance as he took a combative stance. The Pharaoh then charged at him, swinging his crook and flail at him while Po quickly dodged and avoided each of his attacks before grabbing his arm, punching him in the face, and knocking him back with a hip bump.

Monkey came in from behind, snatching the crook from the Pharaoh's hands, swinging it at the Mummy and nailing him in the head, sending the Pharaoh staggering back.

The Pharaoh scowled at seeing one of his weapons stolen and attempted to rush at Monkey, only for simian to wrap his tail around his wrists and pin them together, allowing Monkey to land several kicks and punches on the Mummy. However, none of his hits seemed to do any damage as the Pharaoh quickly broke free and grabbed Monkey by the tail, slamming him into the wall before bringing him down onto the floor before then taking back his crook.

Before the Pharaoh could finish the simian off, Mantis dove in and punched the Mummy in the cheek with his pincers. He then grabbed the Pharaoh by his wrappings, lifted him up and slammed him into the ground, before landing on him with one final kick.

The Pharaoh, despite all this, quickly recovered as he batted Mantis away with his flail before he engaged the others.

Meanwhile, Mikey and Viper were both fighting Savanti as the orange clad turtle managed to get the evil Time Master in a headlock while Viper wrapped herself around his wrist and forced him to hit himself.

Eventually, Savanti had enough as he managed to grab both and throw them off of him.

Mikey landed on his feet while Viper landed on her belly, both of them glaring at Savanti. Mikey then took out one of his nunchucks, converting it into a kusarigama chain, before he and Viper lunged at Savanti.

The two hit him with a series of quick and rapid strikes which stunned Savanti as he was either hit by Mikey's blade or Viper's tail.

Mikey then threw his chain, wrapping it around Savanti's wrist, only for the evil Time Master to press a button on his wrist and create a golden shielding bubble as he yanked Mikey towards him, slamming the orange clad turtle into the shield.

As the shield faded, Viper leapt into the air and snapped her tail at Savanti, only for him to grab and swing her around before throwing Viper into a wall.

Savanti then began to chase after them, breathing fire from his mouth at them like a dragon and forcing them to run.

Renet, meanwhile, had opted to stay as far away from the fight as possible. She may be smart a lot of the time, but she knew she wasn't a fighter. That and she couldn't afford to waste anymore of the Time Scepter's energy, lest it would run out of power and then they would all be trapped in this time period for eternity.

Leo, Po, Tigress, Raph, Donnie, Crane, Monkey, and Mantis quickly regrouped to confront the Pharaoh yet again, this time looking at each other and nodding as they all unanimously agreed on the new plan they had formulated.

Po, Tigress, Raph, Donnie, Crane, Monkey, and Mantis all dashed towards the Pharaoh, dodging his sand-hawks while Leo was left behind.

Raph clashed his sai against the Pharaoh's flail before Donnie leapt in and threw down a smoke bomb, causing the area they were standing in to be filled with a thick purple mist.

Donnie slammed his staff against the Pharaoh's check, then twirling it above his head, before smacking him in the back of the neck. The Pharaoh attempted to retaliate, but by then, Donnie was already gone.

Raph and Tigress then slashed at the Pharaoh's sides before retreating into the mist before the Mummy could catch onto them.

Po, Monkey, Crane, and Mantis then suddenly emerged from the smoke, landing a four way drop-kick that sent the Pharaoh staggering back.

Having enough, the Pharaoh brandished his crook and flail to wave the smoke away, revealing Leo was standing right behind him.

Without a second of hesitation, Leo leapt into the air, pulled his katanas back…

… and completely decapitated the Pharaoh in one fell swoop.

The Pharaoh's head hit the ground as Leo landed, Po, Tigress, Raph, Donnie, Crane, Monkey, and Mantis smirking and cheering in victory before their faces faltered in confusion and surprise.

Before Leo could ask why they were looking like that, the Pharaoh's headless body slammed it's fist into Leo's shell, knocking him to the ground.

Groaning, Leo lifted himself up to see the Pharaoh's head roll towards him, a scowl still present on his face. Beyond freaked out, Leo frantically kicked the Mummy's head away, where it hit Po in the face before floating back to the Pharaoh's body, much to their shock and horror as he reattached his head like it was nothing.

"Oh come on!" Po groaned as the Pharaoh chased them across the room, sending sand-hawks after them.

"How do we stop this thing?!" Tigress questioned.

"Nothing we do seems to hurt him!" Monkey said as they retreated up onto the altar.

"Maybe I could try Wuxi-Finger-Holding him?" Po suggested.

"I don't think he's gonna give you the chance to do that, Po!" Crane said as he dodged an incoming sand-hawk.

"Is there any way to reverse the Mummy's curse?!" Leo questioned.

"Maybe the inscription of the sarcophagus!" Renet suggested. "That might hold the answers."

"On it!" Donnie said, already rushing up to the sarcophagus while the others held off the Pharaoh. He quickly pulled out his T-phone and turned on the translation app before holding it up to the inscription.

"How's that translation going, Don?" Mantis questioned as he, Leo, Po, Tigress, Raph, Crane, and Monkey continued to fight off the Pharaoh with varying degrees of success.

"All I can figure out is something about 'The Pharaoh must rest in this world to move on to the next'." Donnie said, reading the translation.

Raph jumped onto the Pharaoh, wrapping his legs around his neck and delivering several punches to the Mummy's head which seemed to have no effect as the Pharaoh quickly grabbed him and threw him off.

"Then let's get him back in his coffin!" Leo stated.

Leo, Po, Tigress, Raph, Crane, Monkey, and Mantis all rushed at the Pharaoh, grabbing him and trying with all their combined might to push him back towards the altar. But the Pharaoh barely budged as he quickly blasted them back with his sand-hawks.

The Pharaoh raised his hand as it began to glow again, about to finish them off when one of the jars containing his organs was smashed against his head.

He turned around and looked up to see Donnie standing atop the altar with another one of the Egyptian jars in his hands.

As the Pharaoh began to head up the altar towards Donnie, the others looked like they were about to attack when Tigress suddenly stopped them. Before any of them could ask aloud what she was doing, the feline pointed to one of the tall statues in the corner of the room. Quickly realizing what her plan was, the others quickly followed suit.

Donnie quickly rolled out of the way as the Pharaoh leapt up and tried to smash him by bringing his fists down on. Donnie quickly pulled out his staff and moved to attack when the Pharaoh threw his hands out, causing two large sand-snakes to appear and wrapping around Donnie, causing him to drop his weapon as his arms were pinned to his sides.

While the Pharaoh was preoccupied, Leo, Po, Tigress, Raph, Crane, Monkey, and Mantis quickly got behind the giant statue of Horus. And together, they began to push as hard as they could, causing it to become dislodged.

Meanwhile, Mikey, Viper, and Renet were still fighting Savanti when they noticed Donnie was in danger. Seeing this, the three looked to each and nodded before they dodged out of the way of Savanti's flames.

"The Scepter is mine!" Savanti yelled, rushing towards Renet with his arm outstretched, to which she threw the Scepter over his shoulder.

Blinded by his need for the Scepter, Savanti brazenly lunged for it, only Mikey's kusarigama chain to wrap around his hoof and pull him up.

"Cowabunga!" Mikey yelled as he jumped down and slung the chain around the statue of Set's arm, allowing him and Viper to swing down and slam Savanti in the stomach, knocking the wind out of him.

Savanti fell to the ground, groaning in pain as he tried to get up, only to be met by Renet and an energy knuckle to the face.

Using what power was left of the Time Scepter, Renet used it to levitate the lid of the sarcophagus and slam it on top of the Pharaoh, freeing Donnie so he could be caught by Viper while Mikey wrapped his kusarigama chains around the Mummy's knees, pulling them as hard as he could.

Leo, Po, Tigress, Raph, Crane, Monkey, and Mantis all yelled as they continued to push before the statue finally came loose and toppled over, where it landed on the Pharaoh and closed the sarcophagus over him as a huge cloud of dust and sand kicked up.

"Did… did it work?" Crane asked as the dust cleared.

"I think so." Mantis replied as they still stood on the collapsed statue.

"Yeah, we did it... again!" Po cheered as he hugged Tigress, who stiffened at first before she chuckled and lightly returned the hug.

"Now to send you back to your gross prehistory prison!" Renet said to Savanti as she held up the Time Scepter towards him.

Suddenly, Leo, Po, Tigress, Raph, Crane, Monkey, and Mantis felt the statue they were standing on shift as a small creaking sound came from the sarcophagus beneath them.

Savanti smirked darkly. "I don't think so."

Without warning the sarcophagus along with the statue of Horus exploded in a beam of golden light that sent Leo, Po, Tigress, Raph, Donnie, Mikey, Viper, Crane, Monkey, and Mantis flying back as the Pharaoh emerged from his coffin undeterred.

"See you in time!" Savanti laughed, pulling out the emergency back-up time jumper device he had stolen from Renet, using it to open a time gateway that he and Pharaoh walked through.

"No!" Leo cried as the gateway closed, leaving the group there in the tomb alone.

"We had him!" Donnie exclaimed.

"No fair!" Po said.

"Oh, grok! This is all my fault!" Renet said, sitting on her knees sadly while Mikey placed his hands on her shoulders in an attempt to comfort her.

"Don't say that, Renet." Viper said sympathetically. "Besides, blaming yourself isn't going to stop Savanti any sooner."

"We still have a chance to catch up to him, right?" Tigress asked.

"But if I mess up again, I don't know how many charges the Scepter will have left." Renet said, gazing doubtfully upon the scepter.

Leo gently placed a hand on her shoulder, forcing her to look up at him. "We won't give up, not now. Not when April, Casey, and the rest of our city is at stake." He said determinedly.

Feeling hopeful and inspired by his words, Renet jumped up and hugged Leo without warning, much to his surprise as he hesitantly returned the hug while Mikey scowled jealously.

"Thanks, Leo. You really are a totally tubular leader." Renet stated with a smile as she released him.

"So what now?" Crane asked.

"According to the Scepter, Savanti is traveling to the Middle Ages. It should have enough power for two more time-jumps… I hope." Renet explained.

"Then let's go." Tigress stated.

Renet nodded before using the Time Scepter to open a time-gateway in front of them.

"Aww, yeah! Middle Ages, here we come!" Mikey cheered excitedly.

"Yeah!" Leo, Po, Donnie, Viper, Crane, Monkey, and Mantis cheered as they leapt into the gateway.

"I hate time travel." Raph grumbled, to which Tigress quickly kicked him into the gateway before jumping in herself.

Now the only ones left were Mikey and Renet as the young Time Master in training offered her hand to the orange clad turtle.

Mikey eagerly accepted her hand as they jumped through the gateway together.

"Cowabunga!" Mikey cheered.

"Excelsior!" Renet shouted as well as they continued on their quest to stop Savanti and his growing monster army.
