Chapter 8: The Crypt of Dracula

The first thing Leonardo, Po, Tigress, Raphael, Donatello, Michelangelo, Viper, Crane, Monkey, Mantis, and Renet realized upon emerging from the time gateway was that they were falling.

They didn't really get much time to scream as they landed in a small body of water that mostly cushioned their fall.

Quickly, they re-emerged from the water soaking wet and rather irritable.

"Dumped in a swamp in the middle of nowhere? Thanks a lot, Renet." Raph said sarcastically, spitting out some of the swamp water as he looked around.

The area around them was a large swamp filled with dead trees and small patches of land. The moon above them was full in the dark gray night sky, giving the area a foreboding sense of dread.

Renet winced at Raph's ire. "Sorry, guys. I should've set the Time Scepter for drier ground." She said apologetically.

"Honestly, this isn't so bad." Po said as he lay on his back in the water, letting himself float in the muddy water peacefully. "This water's actually pretty nice."

"Po, it's a swamp." Tigress said, sternly pulling her panda onto his feet.

"Hey, uh, has anyone seen Mikey?" Donnie asked when he noticed that everyone else was present except for the party turtle.

"Whoo! Ha, ha, ha!" They turned to see Mikey swimming by them on his back in the water. "I'm kinda digging the swampiness dudes! We're turtles! Kinda feels like home."

"Yeah. In the sewers, maybe." Viper said, wringing out her two lotus flower clips before putting them back up on her head.

"So where and when the heck are we, Renet?" Leo questioned the young Time Master.

Renet turned to the Time Scepter, reading the time coordinates. "We're… Transylvania! In the year thirteen-hundred!" She said excitedly. "Isn't this super cold?!"

"You mean 'cool'." Donnie corrected. "And no, it is not cool, Transylvania at this time is a dangerous place to be."

Mikey then emerged from the water, startling Raph. "Transylvania? Isn't that next to New York?" He asked.

"That's Pennsylvania, dummy!" Raph said harshly, making Mikey wince.

Just then, the group heard a loud howl that sounded like it came from a wolf in the distance, which only added to their sense of unease as they got onto dry land.

They quickly dried themselves off, though they were wet again when Tigress got down on all fours and shook most of the water off of her, much to the others' irritation as they were forced to dry off again.

"Okay, before we go anywhere and hunt down Savanti, we better try and blend in a little." Renet said, carefully stabbing the Time Scepter into the mushy ground and leaving it where it stood as she moved to change her outfit.

Mikey hit the side of his head, trying to get swamp water out of his ear-holes when he came upon a stunning sight to him. "Huh?"

Renet took off her time helmet, along with her hood, revealing her short honey blond hair, some of which was tied up in braids resembling a crown.

Staring at her, Mikey couldn't help but briefly faint in amazement seeing how pretty she looked.

"Oh, heeey!" Mikey said flirtatiously, popping up in front of the young Time Master in training, even giving her a little air-smooch.

Renet looked startled at first, but smiled earnestly at the party turtle's attempts to flirt with her, a light blush even spread across her cheeks, though it was barely noticeable.

"Mikey!" Raph called out, grabbing the orange clad turtle by his mask tails and pulling him back.

"You guys better blend in too." Renet stated to Leo, Po, Tigress, Raph, Donnie, Mikey, Viper, Crane, Monkey, and Mantis. "And look the part as wicked groking monster slayers!" She then raised the Time Scepter and pressed a small button on it. "Woo!"

The Scepter created a bright flash of golden light, forcing the Turtles, Po, and the Five to shield their eyes from the brightness.

When it died down, they were astonished to find themselves wearing new and different clothes from the ones they wore before.

"Awesome! Aw, this is so rad!" Leo gasped before he began gushing in excitement. He wore a black open button coat and a wide brim black fedora, his katanas were strapped to his back on the outside of his coat as he held a rapid-fire crossbow in his hands. Around his neck he wore a pendant with a Jewish symbol on it and medallion with a red crystal at the center of it. "I feel like Van Helsing, but way cooler than him actually, way more rad than Van Helsing."

"So cool!" Po exclaimed as he felt around his outfit. His burlap pants had been replaced by dark blue overalls over a white undershirt and on his head he wore a large brown cowboy hat that fit onto his head rather snuggly, with little holes in the sides so that his ears could poke out. He wore a brown suit over his clothes with a gold and red Chinese dragon on the back, symbolizing him as the Dragon Warrior. In his coat were several stakes carved into knives.

"Not bad." Tigress mused as she observed her new clothes. She wore a dark red long-sleeved coat, black fishnet tights, a black V-neck shirt with skinny straps, dark brown leather gloves past her elbows, and a dark scarlet skirt slightly above her knees. She wore a holy water necklace and a cross. The belt under her coat held several knives laced with silver and wooden stakes.

Seeing his girlfriend in such a stunning outfit, Po couldn't help but ogle at Tigress a little, even drooling slightly. "Wow, you look… great." He said shyly, rubbing the back of his neck as a blush appeared on his cheeks.

Tigress turned towards Po, a light smile playing on her lips. "Hmm, you're not so bad yourself." She said rather flirtatiously, giving her panda a quick peck on the lips, which was enough to make him briefly faint.

"Ha, ha!' Raph laughed, feeling satisfied with his outfit. He wore a light brown trench coat on his person and a dark brown bowler hat on his head. On his belt which held his coat tightly to his waist were his sais along with a few wooden stakes carved into the shape of knives.

"Woah, check it out!" Mikey gasped in wonder. He wore a navy blue turncoat that went down to his ankles, a necklace of garlic cloves strung together along with some twine hanging around his neck. He wore a tall matching top hat on his head which fit nicely along with the rest of his outfit. On his right hand he wore a small brown glove with a miniature crossbow on it. Upon squeezing his hand into a fist and pressing the trigger, the crossbow fired… only for the miniature stake to hit Raph in the hat.

"Ow!" Raph cried in pain as the stake pierced his hat, even coming out of the other end.

"Oops." Mikey winced as he prepared to run away.

"Mikey!" Raph bellowed, chasing after his youngest brother in a fit of rage for almost shooting him in the head.

"Nice." Viper said as she wore a small brown coat went down to her lower body. She also wore a short brim slouch hat that had her lotus flower clips on top of it. "Feels very comfy."

"Oh, wow, thanks Renet." Crane said with a grin, observing his new dark brown sleeveless coat that he wore which was tucked into the purple sash that was tied around his waist. The sleeveless jacket allowed his wings to be free so could still fly. He still wore his straw hat from before, but he didn't seem to mind too much.

"Is this really necessary for me? I mean, I am a bug." Mantis said as he wore a tiny white undershirt that was his size along with a dark red vest, along with a black barrette on his head.

"I mean, I don't know about you, but this outfit looks spiffing!" Monkey said, excitedly. He wore a white undershirt with rolled up sleeves underneath a pair of brown overalls. On his head he wore a gray flat cap that fit rather well on him.

"Ooh, liking the hats." Donnie said with a small grin, feeling the brown fedora he wore on his head along with the open brown coat he wore. His shoulder strap also held a few stakes in it as well for extra weaponry. Even his staff had been augmented as it now had a golden rhombus piece with a shining red ruby at the center of it.

"I've also taken the liberty of granting you special weapons and items of protection for this mission." Renet explained. "For you Leo, I've granted you a special crossbow that'll rapidly fire stakes so you won't have to worry about reloading it. And your swords are now laced with silver, which should definitely help against wicked monsters and the like, yeah?"

Leo pulled out one of his katanas, noticing the silver gleam on the blade before putting it back. "Thanks, Renet."

"And for you, Donnie, your staff now has a mystical seal of protection. It'll keep both vampires and werewolves away from you, but only as long as you have faith in it." Renet said to the purple clad turtle.

"I have to believe in this little thing for it to protect me?" Donnie questioned rather skeptically. Yes, he and his brothers and friends were masters of chi and flowing with energy of the universe, but magic along with mysticism was still something that was a little hard for him to believe. "That seems a little archaic don't you think?"

"Trust me, it'll work." Renet reassured him. "The rest of you I've outfitted with specialized stakes and silver knives for your protection." Her face then turned grim. "You'll need these weapons, guys, because we have to find the next monster before Savanti Romero does. And that monster is none other than… Dracula."

Leo and Donnie both gasped in shock and even Raph and Mikey stopped fighting as soon as they heard what Renet said.

Po, Tigress, Viper, Crane, Monkey, and Mantis however looked confused.

"Who's Dracula?" Crane asked.

"The Lord of the Vampires." Renet stated with a serious glare, to which Po and the Five gasped in shock as well.

Just then, the group a loud scream, followed by the sounds of horses and wolves. "Flee this accursed place!" A panicked voice cried out.

"Come on!" Tigress yelled, to which the group sprinted off in the direction of the noise.

The group quickly tracked the sounds down to a large rock hill, where three knights on horseback were being surrounded by a group of large wolves.

"There's no way out!" One of the Knights cried, brandishing his broadsword, unaware of the wolves atop of the large hill, gazing down at them with hungry yellow eyes.

One of the wolves swooshed past the three Knights before disappearing into the bushes, startling the horses two of the Knights were riding on, causing them to flee in terror, leaving their other companion alone with the wolves.

The wolves let the two other Knights go, surrounding the lone one. As they closed in, the horse the Knight was riding on freaked out and ran off, bolting so fast that the Knight fell off his horse.

Now with no horse, the Knight found himself face to face with the snarling hungry faces of an entire pack of wolves surrounding him and ready to make him their next meal.

"Ahhhh! No, no, no!" The Knight screamed for his life. "Help me!"

That was when the group decided to act as Leo jumped down and shoulder-checked one of the wolves while Raph kicked another, knocking them away from the helpless Knight.

The others quickly jumped down two, forming a protective circle as the wolves surrounded.

"It is werewolves!" The Knight cried, standing up before running for his life screaming in terror and leaving the group to face the wolves.

"Renet, can't you use the Scepter to, I don't know, blast these guys away or something?" Po asked.

"It's running low on power!" Renet replied, shooting that idea down immediately. "I have to conserve!"

Without warning the wolves then lunged at the group, forcing them to scatter about the hill.

Leo backflipped away, flipping back as one of the wolves lunged at him. Acting fast, Leo performed a spinning kick that knocked the wolf away. Another wolf tried to lunge at him, only Leo to pull out one of his katanas and slash at it with his new silver blade, which cut down the wolf with ease.

Donnie found himself in the midst of a slight tug of war as one of the wolves had managed to grab the end of his staff, attempting to pull it away from him. However, Donnie proved to be stronger as he wrenched away his staff and smacked the wolf in the snout and quickly backflipped over a wolf that tried to lunge at him from behind.

Po and Tigress stood back-to-back as a group of wolves came at them from both sides. "Double Death Strike?" Po suggested.

"Yeah." Tigress replied, nodding in agreement before she spun around and grabbed Po's hands and lifted him up before swinging him at the wolves like a club.

Landing on his feet while still holding Tigress' paw, Po kicked away any more wolves that tried to climb up the hill towards them before Tigress jumped up above him, performing a split-kick on two wolves that tried to lunge at them before they landed.

One of the wolves slammed it's paw down on Viper's tail, attempting to pin her down. But Viper quickly wrapped her tail around the wolf's paw and spun in it the air before slamming it into the ground. "Down, boy!" Viper quipped.

Crane kicked one of the wolves away before using his wings to create a wave of wind that blasted several wolves back. One of the wolves then tried to tackle him, but Crane quickly took off into the air and dive-bombed into the wolf, slamming it into the ground.

"Bad doggies!" Mantis yelled, grabbing two of the wolves by their noses and spinning them around before throwing them away and kicking another wolf in the chest.

Mikey batted one of the wolves away with his nunchucks before another wolf tackled him to the ground, trying to bite his face off. "Off of me, fluffy!" He shouted, kicking the wolf off of him and into a nearby tree. Acting fast, Mikey spun around and fired his mini crossbow at the branch above the wolf, causing it to fall on the wolf and pin it down.

Raph kicked one of the wolves away before stabbing another one with a silver knife. He then used a branch above him to swing away from another wolf that lunged at him.

Landing on the top of the hill, Raph laughed as the red clad turtle tipped his bowler hat at the wolf below.

Just then, Raph heard a loud growl to his side, startling him as he nearly dropped his hat.

To his right, he spotted two wolves along with a third one who was unusually large and even stood on two legs with red glowing eyes, undoubtedly the alpha of the pack.

Raph softly gasped as he put his hat back on and slowly began to back away.

The alpha wolf growled at the two wolves beside him, and on his command, they charged at Raph.

Normally Raph was one to stand his ground and fight, but for some reason, he felt his fear overtake him as he ran away screaming for his life.

Raph ran as fast as he could, panting heavily as the wolves chased him, going farther and farther away from his brothers and friends.

He could feel that the wolves were gaining on him, he could hear their snarling and growling coming up right up behind along with their snorting breaths, causing him to look over his shoulder with a yelp.

But as he looked back, Raph's foot got caught on a rock that stuck out of the ground, causing him to trip and fall over.

Cursing himself for being so clumsy, Raph immediately got up on his knees and pulled out a pair of silver knives as he turned around, ready to fight for his life…

… only to be shocked to see that the two wolves chasing him had mysteriously vanished.

"What?" He muttered softly in confusion.

Raph looked around, wondering if the wolves were perhaps planning on going at him from a different angle, but found that he was indeed all alone as the silence stretched out.

Slowly, Raph stood back up and put away his silver knives. Something strange was going on, and he wasn't sticking around to find out. He had to get to the others before…

Suddenly Raph felt a sudden presence behind as a dark shadow loomed over him.

Raph turned around and let out a cry of horror at what he saw.

Standing there in the moonlight was the silhouette of a tall man with a long cape and glowing pale blue eyes.

The man suddenly vanished in a puff of smoke as a swarm of bats flew out from where he stood.

And as the bats swarmed him, Raphael could do nothing but scream as he felt someone grab him by the shoulders and sink their fangs into his neck.

Back with Leo, Po, Tigress, Donnie, Raph, Viper, Crane, Monkey, Mantis, and Renet, the group quickly found themselves being overwhelmed by the growing number of werewolves as they backed up against the hill.

Emerging from the shadows and into the moonlight, the alpha wolf snarled and roared as he stood up on his two hind legs. He was huge, standing much taller than both Donnie and Po with almost humanoid-like features as he wore a pair of tattered navy blue pants.

"A werewolf?! Holy creature double feature!" Leo exclaimed in shock as he armed his crossbow. "I thought we were supposed to be taking on Dracula!"

Tigress looked up towards the hill, seeing more wolves gathering around the top, completely surrounding them. "We're trapped!" She exclaimed.

Po cried out in a panic as he jumped into Tigress' arms. "What do we do?!" He cried.

"We gotta use silver!" Mikey exclaimed. "That's what they used in 'The Growling'!"

"This is not the time to bring up your horror movies, Mikey!" Crane stated. "Even if it's true."

The wolves all came closer as they got ready to pounce when a streak of light came over the horizon.

And just in time too as the sun began to rise in the morning sky, signifying a new day.

The wolves all hissed in the sunlight, as if burnt by it, before they ran off with their tails tucked between their legs.

"Look! Light's as good as silver!" Donnie exclaimed joyfully.

"Yeah! You better run!" Mantis called out to the fleeing wolves.

Tigress looked at Po, who was still sitting awkwardly in her arms, before she dropped him with a heavy thud.

"That was close." Viper said with relief.

"Yeah, too close." Monkey added.

Leo let out a tense breath he didn't know he had been holding as he did a quick headcount, only to realize a certain hot-headed turtle was missing. "Oh no, where's Raph?!" He exclaimed, looking around desperately for his younger brother. "RAPHAEL!"

Tigress sniffed the air lightly, turning her head towards the top of the hill. "I've got his scent!" She said before began climbing up the hill. "This way!"

Leo, Po, Donnie, Mikey, Viper, Crane, Monkey, Mantis, and Renet followed the striped feline up the hill before they quickly came across the red clad turtle, who was laying down on the ground groaning in pain.

"Raph!" Leo cried in a panic as they approached him.

"What happened to you, bro?" Donnie questioned in concern.

Raph tiredly opened his eyes. "I don't know." He said faintly, his head spinning. "Feel… woozy."

"C'mon, team." Leo said as he and Donnie helped Raph into his feet. "We've gotta find Dracula before Savanti does… and stake him through the heart!"

The group spent the next few hours of the day wandering rather through the swamp with Renet using the Time Scepter to guide them.

Eventually, they came across a staircase that led up onto a nice cobblestone road, and above it, a village.

As they came onto the road, they were surprised to find the village completely empty as a light fog covered it like a soft blanket.

"Woah! What happened here?" Donnie exclaimed in astonishment. "The whole village is… abandoned!"

Po waved a paw dismissively. "Nah, it can't be totally empty… right?"

Crane swooped into the air, using his wings to blow away the fog surrounding the village before flying around to scout for anybody living there.

When he returned to the group, he had a pale look on his face, as if he had seen a ghost. "There's nothing." Crane said breathlessly. "No people, no horses, nothing at all."

"So does that mean this is a… ghost town?" Mikey whimpered.

Before anyone could answer, they heard the sounds of horses coming towards them in the distance.

Out from the fog and pulled by two unruly looking horses was a red and black carriage.

The carriage pulled up to them, the horses stopping and neighing in front of Mikey, Po, and Monkey while kicking their feet up, startling them and causing them to fall to the ground.

"My friends, do not remain here." The man within the carriage spoke with a soft-spoken voice, the darkness inside the chariot making it hard for them to make him out.

He was a thin man with smooth black hair and pale white skin. He wore a nicely kept suit and cape as he peeked out from the chariot's window.

"This town was consumed by the plague." The man informed them. "I recommend going East."

"That… voice…" Raph murmured, shuffling a little closer to the carriage with an odd sense of familiarity.

Renet quickly stood between the red clad turtle and the carriage. "Thank you, sir. But we're going West, to Dracula's castle."

"Do not be foolish, child." The man shook his head with his eyes closed. "That way lies… death." His eyes then opened, and Leo and Tigress both could've sworn they saw the man's eyes glow silver.

"Yes… yes, we should go… East." Raph mumbled almost emotionlessly, much to Leo and Tigress' surprise.

With a snap of a whip, the carriage rode off down the road, disappearing into the fog.

"I don't trust that, man." Tigress said suspiciously.

"That makes two of us." Leo added.

Raph stumbled forward, looking down at the ground. "Not… not feelin' so…" He then collapsed onto his knees and threw up on the ground.

The Turtles, Po, the Five, and Renet all gasped as they crowded around the red clad turtle in concern.

"Raph? Are you okay?" Monkey asked worriedly.

Viper placed her tail on Raph's forehead, feeling that it was far warmer than what it should usually be. "He's burning up." She stated. "Looks like he's got a fever."

"Ugh. Ya think?" Raph weakly retorted.

Renet raised her brow as the Time Scepter began glowing, causing her to stand up and observe it curiously.

"What is it, Renet?" Tigress asked.

"Hmm, that's weird." Renet stated. "The Scepter can't diagnose it, but it says someone's nearby. Someone who emmenats kindness and compassion. Maybe they can help."

"Okay, I think we need to keep a list on what that thing can and can't do." Po said, a little befuddled on how the Time Scepter could read a person. He thought it was the magic time travel stick, not the magic heart-reading stick!

The group walked down the road for several minutes before they came across a Romanian man who looked to be in his late fifties to early sixties and un-skinning a potato in his hand. Next to him was a Romanian woman who looked to be in her late twenties and stirring some sort of soup over the campfire next to their carriage.

"Um, excuse us?" Renet called out, getting their attention.

Of course, upon seeing the Turtles, Po, and the Five, the man and the woman both stood up looking startled.

"What-what monsters are these?!" The man exclaimed in fright, bringing out his knife in defense.

Tigress bristled at being called a 'monster', with Po needing to put a hand on her shoulder to calm her down, while the others raised their hands defensively.

"Great disguises, Renet. We blend right in." Leo remarked sarcastically, folding his arms over his chest.

Renet ignored him. "Please, sir! Put away your blade!" She said, trying to reason with the man. "These are friendly spirits from the far realms! They are my guardians."

The woman noticed the sick-looking Raph as Mikey gently set him down. Feeling sympathy in her heart for the red-clad turtle, the woman slowly approached him.

"Esmeralda!" The man cried in a panic.

The young woman ignored him, kneeling down in front of Raph and placing her hand on his head. "Poor adorable creature." The woman named Esmeralda said soothingly. "Father, this one is not well."

"We must take care of ourselves first, Esmeralda." The man, who was Esmeralda's father, stated firmly.

"Will this help you, kind sir?" Renet asked, pulling out four gold coins from a high-tech purse in her hands.

The man's eyes widened in amazement as he smiled while Renet gave him the coins. "So much gold! I thank you, strangers!" He said, immediately changing his tune. "My name is Vulko, and this is my daughter, Esmeralda. We are… travelers, looking for work."

"I'm Renet, and these are the Ninja Tur-err… spirits. They're spirits." Renet said, laughing nervously.

Vulko laughed as well, slapping Renet on the back in a friendly manner. "Come, my new friends, let us hurry. We must reach our village before nightfall." He said, already heading towards his carriage.

"Wow, what kind of gadget is that, Renet?" Crane asked as he and Donnie looked curiously at the purse device in Renet's hand.

"It's a Chronus Wallet." Renet explained. "It can produce money from any time period."

"Whoa! Future tech is so rad!" Donnie exclaimed with an excited smile.

"Yeah, imagine how much cool stuff we could buy with that!" Po added.

"You can gush about future technology later." Tigress said as she and the others headed towards the carriage. "Right now, we've gotta move."

Moments later, the Leo, Po, Tigress, Raph, Donnie, Mikey, Viper, Crane, Monkey, Mantis, Renet, Vulko, and Esmeralda were gathered up in the carriage as they set off down the road, with Vulko sitting at the front and guiding the horses with Mikey and Po sitting next to him while the others were gathered inside the carriage and busy attending to Raph.

The ride was rather silent and tense as expected, with Po and Mikey gazing over to the abandoned village now fading into the distance.

"We must all be wary. Transylvania has become very dangerous over the years." Vulko spoke with utter seriousness, noticing the panda and the orange clad turtle's curiosity. "A great evil has come upon this land."

Meanwhile inside the carriage, Leo, Tigress, Donnie, Viper, Crane, Monkey, Mantis, Renet, and Esmeralda were gathered around the unconscious and sickly Raph.

"Can you figure out what's wrong with him, Esmeralda?" Viper asked.

Esmeralda felt Raph's forehead before opening his eye and inspecting it. She then looked down and noticed two small puncture wounds on the side of his neck "His paleness, his eyes, the marks on his neck. He's been bitten by the evil one!" She exclaimed.

Leo, Tigress, Donnie, Viper, Crane, Monkey, Mantis, and Renet all gasped in horror at that news, as did Po and Mikey upon hearing it as well.

"What?!" Vulko exclaimed, stopping the carriage completely. "He turns into a vampire?! And the sun is soon to set!"

"Is there anything we can do, Vulko?" Leo asked desperately.

"Perhaps." Vulko said unsurely. "But first and foremost, he must not bite anyone, or he will become a full vampire!"

"Oh, snap!" Mikey exclaimed.

"You got that right." Po agreed nervously.

Many hours later, the sun had already set and the full moon had risen into the night sky once more as it shone down on a certain Lord of the Vampire's castle home.

And it was there that Savanti Romero, along with the Mummy of the Pharaoh, opened the doors to the castle and walked in.

Walking in through the doors, the interior of the castle was almost like that of a church, only instead of worshiping God, this place seemed to worship a certain prince of darkness who stood at the other end of the room.

"Count Dracula." Savanti spoke aloud.

"So," Count Dracula said, turning around to face Savanti, still wearing the well-kept suit he wore when he had briefly greeted the Turtles, Po, the Five, and Renet, his skin now a pale white in the light of the moon, "after all these years, Diavol has come for me?"

The evil Time Master couldn't help but grin. "Yes, Drac, that's exactly who I am." Savanti said, playing along. "And if you do not obey me, I will take you back to the Netherworld, now and forever."

"Never! No-one commands Vlad Dracula, not even you." Dracula said defiantly, already moving to bite Savanti as he hissed, showing his fangs, only to be stopped by a bright purple light emitting from Savanti's left wristband. "Ah!"

"Ultraviolet light should be especially painful for you, vampire." Savanti smirked.

"Stop! Release me from your power, demon!" Dracula commanded, using his cape to protect himself even though his skin was burning and causing him to hiss in pain.

"Then you will obey me, Dracula. I am your master now!" Savanti laughed maniacally.

Meanwhile, the Ninja Turtles, Po, the Furious Five, Renet, Vulko, and Esmeralda continued on their journey through the night, now going along a ridgid cliffside, a large wall of rock next to them.

Leo, Po, Tigress, and Renet guided the horses out in front of the carriage while Donnie, Monkey, and Crane sat next to Vulko. Mikey, Viper, and Mantis were still inside the carriage keeping an eye on Raph.

"All right, once we get Vulko and Esmeralda to their village, we roll in and stake Dracula." Leo explained his plan.

"Yes, let's just hope Savanti hasn't gotten there first." Tigress said.

"Hey, c'mon, Tigress. It's us! We'll figure something out." Po said optimistically.

"No offense, Po, but that seems like pretty wishful thinking." Crane spoke up.

"Yeah, we're gonna lose Raph if this keeps up." Donnie said.

"Hey, Renet, can't you just take us back in time to before he was bitten?" Monkey asked.

"It doesn't work like that, Monkey." Renet said regretfully. "The fabric of space-time is delicate. If we traveled back in time to prevent Raph from being bitten, that would cause a paradox and it would destroy the timeline, and no doubt Lord Simultaneous will kill me for that. Besides, the Scepter only has one time-travel charge left. And we need it to get us all home to the future."

"Rats." Monkey grumbled as he, Donnie, and Crane tried to make themselves comfortable next to Vulko while they rode.

As they continued on, Donnie felt his eyes shifting to the mysterious purple and silver necklace around Vulko's neck.

Noticing the smart turtle's curiosity, Vulko decided there was no shame in telling him about it. "My necklace of wolfsbane keeps both vampires and werewolves away from me." He explained, getting Crane and Monkey's attention as well.

"Well that's convenient." Monkey remarked, only to get lightly elbowed by Crane.

Mikey peeked his head out from inside the carriage. "You got another one of those for me?" He asked.

"No." Vulko said flatly.

"Awwww…" Mikey sighed, retracting his head back into the carriage.

Meanwhile inside the carriage, Raph felt his eyes flutter open, his head still spinning as he felt the cool breeze of the night coming in.

Eyes shifting around the carriage, Raph felt his eyes land on the back of Mikey's neck where it was exposed.

It was also then that Raph realized he was thirsty. So very thirsty.

Silently, Raph leaned up into a sitting position behind Mikey with his arms folded over his chest. He opened his eyes fully, showing them to be glowing a pale blue while he opened his mouth, revealing some sharp newly grown fangs.

Hearing a strange hiss from behind them, Viper and Mantis turned around to see what it was and their eyes widened at what they saw.

"Uh, Mikey?" Viper spoke up nervously.

Raph then lunged forward and grabbed Mikey by the shoulders, causing the party turtle to scream as the carriage came to a stop. Raph then moved to bite his baby brother when Esmeralda threw a string of garlic around his neck.

"Huh?" The vampiric Raph murmured before he felt faint and flopped to the floor, passing out again.

Just then, the door to the back of the carriage burst open as Leo, Po, Tigress, and Renet came inside.

"What happened?" Leo questioned.

"Raph here just tried to bite Mikey!" Mantis exclaimed.

"Still, thank goodness for Esmeralda, or Mikey would've ended up as a vampire too!" Viper added.

"The neophyte vampire is not fully a vampire yet." Esmeralda stated.

Mikey raised a brow. "He's like a vampirette?"

"Something like that, Mikey." Tigress said.

"The garlic should keep him docile for now." Esmeralda said.

"That's great all, but, guys? I'm pretty sure we got bigger things to worry about, like that guy with the pumpkin head right behind us right now." Po said, pointing out the door behind them.

"What?" Tigress questioned as she, Leo, Mikey, Renet, and Esmeralda looked out the back.

And right outside behind the carriage was a red and black carriage, similar to the one they saw that strange man riding in earlier. The horses pulling the carriage seemed to emit an aura of darkness as blue flames spouted from their eyes and nostrils. The man guiding the horses was tall and lean, and even wearing the same suit and cape the group had seen on that same man earlier, and a fiery pumpkin for a head.

"The… the Headless Horseman?!" Esmeralda gasped in fear.

"The what?!" Leo, Po, Tigress, Donnie, Mikey, Viper, Crane, Monkey, and Mantis exclaimed.

"Hang on!" Vulko shouted, snapping the reins on the horses and allowing them to pick up speed as the Horseman gave chase.

Unfortunately, despite how fast they rode, the Horseman managed to match their pace as he continuously gained on them.

The high speeds made the carriage ride bumpy and terrifying, especially for Donnie, Crane, and Monkey as they were still sitting at the front with Vulko.

They rode the carriage along the edge of the cliff, nearly going over it as they were forced to make a sharp turn around a corner on the ledge. Donnie, Crane, and Monkey all clung to Vulko in a panic as the carriage leaned over, almost falling over before righting itself. Once the carriage had become balanced again, Donnie, Crane, and Monkey released Vulko and allowed him to see.

Vulko continuously snapped the reins, trying to get his horses to go faster. Meanwhile in the back, Leo, Po, Tigress, Mikey, Viper, Mantis, Renet, and Esmeralda could only watch as the Horseman continued to get closer and closer to them.

Then, suddenly, the Horseman began to slow. He stood up on his carriage, raised his hands to his pumpkin head, and to the group's shock, popped it clean off his shoulders.

The Horseman then drew back his arm and reeled back before stepping forward and hurling his flaming pumpkin head, the head cackling madly as it sailed towards them.

Leo, Po, Tigress, Mikey, Viper, Mantis, Renet, and Esmeralda could only scream in terror as the pumpkin head slammed into the carriage, knocking it over and sending it tumbling onto the ground.

Outside, Crane quickly grabbed Donnie and Monkey by their arms and pulled them off the carriage as it came to a sliding stop at the edge of the cliff.

Leo kicked the doors to the back of the carriage open, rolling out with his stake gun while Tigress followed him with a pair of silver knives in her hands.

Po, Mikey, Viper, and Mantis dizzily stumbled out of the carriage while dragging the unconscious Raph along with them.

Leo and Tigress checked the perimeter, waiting for the Headless Horseman to come in and attack them any second.

But they were surprised to find that the Horseman had vanished, carriage, horses, and all.

"Looks like he's gone." Tigress noticed, lowering her guard slightly.

"Is everyone okay?" Renet asked.

Crane gently landed with Donnie and Mikey, all three of them panting heavily. "We're fine." Crane said.

"Although I think my bruises have bruises." Monkey said, rubbing his sides.

"How is it even possible the Headless Horseman was here?" Donnie questioned. "He's from Sleepy Hollow, not Romania!"

"Wait, remember that carriage he was riding?" Leo said. "I feel like we've seen it from somewhere."

"We have." Tigress replied. "It belonged to that strange man we saw earlier today."

"Yeah, and did you guys see how Raph acted when we were near him?" Po asked. "It was like he recognized him."

"That must have been Dracula!" Renet realized in shock, as did the others.

"And he's been playing us this whole time!" Mantis said angrily.

Esmeralda looked around, noticing one of them was missing. "Where… where is my father?" She asked in a panic.

"Hey, he's gone!" Mikey also noticed.

The others look around for Vulko, trying to find the elderly man when Viper noticed something on the ground. "Look!" She exclaimed, picking it up. "His wolfsbane!" Viper then handed the wolfsbane to Esmeralda.

Just then, they heard the familiar sounds of howling, forcing them to look up and see a pack of wolves heading for Dracula's Castle which was just up ahead.

"Look! The wolves must have carried him off!" Donnie exclaimed.

"Oh, no. Father…" Esmeralda murmured, clutching the wolfsbane close to herself in distress.

Viper gently wrapped her tail around the woman's arm. "We'll get him back, Esmeralda. I promise." She said soothingly.

Esmeralda wiped her eyes with the back of her hand, sniffling slightly. "Thank you, friendly serpent."

"Looks like we're going to have to take the fight to Dracula himself." Tigress said grimly as she gazed up at the castle in the distance.

Meanwhile in Dracula's Castle, Savanti Romero continued to spy on the group thanks to his time gauntlet, with Dracula and the Pharaoh observing as well.

"What is that magic?" Dracula questioned irritably.

"This 'magic' tracks my enemies, Count Dracula." Savanti explained before he grinned evilly. "They are coming too close. But if I can recruit a werewolf to my cause…"

Dracula continued to glare at Savanti as the evil Time Master chuckled at the thought of his plans. How had he fallen so low in the span of a night. Being the Lord of the Undead, the Prince of Darkness, the King of Wallachia, and yet he found himself being forced to serve this moronic, egotistical demon against his will.

Dracula knew he couldn't just attack Savanti directly, or he would use that special light on his gauntlet to weaken him.

No, he would have to bid his time, wait for things to turn in his favor.

Then would the Lord of the Vampires strike.

A thick fog rose up as the Ninja Turtles, Po, the Furious Five, Renet, and Esmeralda crossed the long bridge towards Dracula's Castle, following the footsteps of the wolves.

As they approached the castle, Po couldn't help but stop and admire it.

It was a large castle with pink stained glass windows, it had cobwebs and creaky bits of wood and cracked bricks everywhere on it and yet it also looked like it was in pristine condition.

And as lighting cracked across the sky above it, the panda couldn't help but say, "Well, points for pageantry." Only for Tigress to come back and grab his paw before pulling him along.

"The tracks curve back to another part of the castle." Leo observed, following the wolf tracks ahead of them.

As Mikey carried the unconscious Raph, a swarm of bats swooped out from under the bridge, flying over the group and startling Mikey, who fell back with a scream.

Once the bats had fully passed by, Mikey got up, readjusting his grip on Raph before running to catch up with the others.

As they got closer to the castle, they spotted the same carriage that had been used by Dracula and the Headless Horseman, just sitting outside the doors to the castle as if waiting for them.

Slowly, the group cautiously approached the carriaget, Leo holding his stake gun, Donnie pulling out his staff with the mystic seal, Mikey readying the miniature crossbow on his glove while Po, Tigress, Viper, Crane, Monkey, and Mantis drew either a stake or a silver knife.

Leo and Donnie took point as they stood on either side of the carriage, before peeking in through the openings in the side doors.

Unfortunately, the seats inside were empty.

But just when they started to relax, they heard the chains rustle on the carriage followed by a faint growl from above, causing them to look up.

It was then that a massive werewolf landed on top of the carriage before letting out a long howl. And this was not just any werewolf, it was the Alpha Werewolf, the one they had seen with the pack the other night.

"Oh no! Not him again!" Renet exclaimed fearfully.

Leo, Po, Tigress, Donnie, Mikey (still carrying Raph), Viper, Crane, Monkey, and Mantis quickly fell back as the Werewolf jumped down from the carriage and began to chase Renet.

"Quick! Use the chains!" Tigress yelled, pointing to the chains hanging from the castle entrance.

With a plan in mind, Mikey stayed behind on the carriage to keep an eye on Raph while Leo, Po, Tigress, Donnie, Viper, Crane, Monkey, and Mantis quickly grabbed the chains hanging from the castle entrance.

Using the chains, they quickly managed to ensnare the Werewolf as he attempted to lunge at Renet, actually managing to hold him despite how much the Werewolf thrashed and roared.

But no matter how much the Werewolf tried to break free, the chains held firm and Leo, Po, Tigress, Donnie, Viper, Crane, Monkey, and Mantis stood their ground.

"Bad doggy! Bad doggy! Sit! Sit!" Po yelled, pulling on the chain as hard as he could.

"Now, Mikey! Take the shot!" Tigress shouted.

Mikey quickly grabbed Leo's stake gun, jumping on top of the carriage as he aimed it carefully at the restrained Werewolf's heart.

But before he could pull the trigger, Esmeralda suddenly dashed in front of him, blocking him off. "Wait! Don't hurt him!" She exclaimed desperately.

"Esmeralda, what are you doing?!" Viper questioned.

"That werewolf, it's… it's..." Esmeralda struggled to speak.

Leo suddenly gasped as the realization came to him. "It's Vulko! Your father!"

"Huh?" Mikey, Donnie, Po, and Monkey gasped.

"What?!" Tigress, Viper, Crane, and Mantis all exclaimed.

"Why didn't you tell us?!" Tigress demanded.

"I had to do it to protect him, and those around us." Esmeralda explained shamefully. "That is why my father wore the wolfsbane, not just to repel vampires and werewolves, but to stop his transformation."

Mikey wracked his brain for a possible solution before he suddenly remembered something from horror comics back home. "I need a silver coin from your future wallet, Renet!" Mikey said, leaning over the roof of the cart. "Quick!"

"No problem, daddy-o!" Renet said, opening her Chronus Wallet and throwing a silver quarter into the air.

"Take your silver chill pill!" Mikey yelled at Vulko, using Leo's stake gun like a baseball bat and hitting directly into Vulko's open mouth.

As soon as Vulko swallowed the coin, the werewolf slowly began to revert back into his human form as his snout scrunched up and his teeth grew dull, his fur and claws retracting until seconds later he was completely human once more.

Vulko groaned as he fell to the ground, Leo, Po, Tigress, Donnie, Viper, Crane, Monkey, and Mantis letting go of the chains as they relaxed.

"It worked!" Po exclaimed. "Nice aim, Mikey!"

"Papa! Papa, your back!" Esmeralda cried joyfully, rushing up to him and kneeling down to hug him.

"Where… where am I?" Vulko asked dazedly, as if he were waking up from a bad dream.

"Oh, thank you, my friends." Esmeralda said to the group as Leo and Donnie unchained Vulko. "You are very wise, Michelangelo. Silver can harm a werewolf, or cure them."

"That's right!" Mikey cheered, jumping down from the top of the carriage.

"How did you know that would work?" Tigress asked him curiously.

"Ancient lore and a movie I saw." Mikey answered simply.

"Gotta say, Mikey. Renet was right about you, you are the bee's fleas!" Po complimented him, throwing his arm around Mikey's shoulder.

"You bet I am!" Mikey said gleefully. "Booyakasha-na-na-na-na!"

However, as if to interrupt their celebrations, the carriage doors suddenly opened and a swarm of bats came pouring out, much to the surprise of everyone as the bats managed to pull Esmeralda away towards the front of the castle.

As the bats pushed her to the steps of the castle, the bats suddenly formed into a fog, a mist that quickly dissipated, revealing a sharply dressed man in his place.

"Good evening, my dear." The man spoke with a laugh, revealing his fangs on full display.

And Leo, Po, Tigress, Donnie, Mikey, Viper, Crane, Monkey, Mantis, and Renet all collectively gasped upon recognizing who this man was.

Right there in front of them stood none other than Count Vladimir Dracula, the Lord of the Vampires himself, holding Esmeralda in his grip.

"Man, I hope this symbol of protection thing is good for something!" Donnie spoke aloud, holding out the seal on his staff towards Dracula, only for it to have no effect.

Dracula scoffed. "You have to have faith for that work on me, goblin."

"Let her go!" Tigress shouted, arming herself with two silver knives.

"You are in no position to make demands!" Dracula retorted.

Still holding Esmeralda in place, Dracula put his hand on her head, exposing her neck as his fangs extended and his skin turned pale.

Esmeralda could only let out a muffled scream as Dracula's fangs brushed the skin of her neck, only for Dracula to feel instant pain as Vulko managed to grab a wooden stake off the ground and stab it into the vampire's foot.

Dracula let out a yell of pain as he let go of Esmeralda, Vulko quickly grabbing her and escorting her over to the others.

Knowing they wouldn't get any other chance, Leo quickly took back his stake gun from Mikey and aimed it at Dracula's heart while the vampire was still reeling in pain and trying to pull the stake out of his foot.

With his aim true, Leo fired his stake gun, the stake shooting out from the gun barrel and sailing towards Dracula at great speed, about to hit the King of the Vampires and end his undead life…

… when a flash of green and red suddenly snatched the stake out of the air, landing on the ground as everyone gasped in shock.

It was Raphael, the garlic no longer around his neck, as he had caught the wooden stake in his mouth. His eyes glowing the same pale blue as he crushed the stake in jaws before spitting it out, revealing his newly formed fangs which gleamed in the moonlight.

The newly vampiric Raph then hissed as he and Dracula transformed into a pair of bats in a puff of smoke before they flew towards the castle, the doors opening wide as they flew inside.

"Raphael!" Leo cried as he and the others gave chase, rushing into the castle and chasing after the two bats.

As they rounded a corner, they saw the two bats go through a small doorway that closed behind them. Quickly rushing over to it, Leo quickly opened the door, allowing the group to go down a narrow staircase, Renet using the Time Scepter to light up the dark hallway.

"They must be downstairs in the crypt." Donnie said grimly.

"Um, crypt?" Crane asked nervously.

Eventually, the group got to the bottom of the stairs, entering the crypt of Dracula's castle. However, as soon as they entered the room, the candles lining the room suddenly lit up the room in a bright orange glow.

They then heard a loud thump from behind them, forcing them to turn around and see Savanti Romero standing above them, his arms folded over his chest with a smug grin.

"So glad you could join us." Savanti said.

"Savanti." Renet scowled. "Give it up. Your plan is never gonna work! It's over. Finished!"

"Finished, am I?" Savanti said, still smirking as he raised a brow. "Indeed, almost finished with my preparations to destroy the future as you know it!" He then spread his arms outward. "Meet my allies!"

As if on cue, two bats flew into the room, and in a puff of smoke, transformed back into Dracula and the vampiric Raph, much to the Turtles, Po, and the Five's horror.

To make things worse, the Pharaoh then emerged from the lower part of the crypt before he slammed his ankh staff into the ground, sending out a golden sand shockwave that blasted all of them back, sending them tumbling down into the lower part of the crypt.

Renet, however, had managed to use the Time Scepter to create a special time bubble to protect herself from the blast, leaving her standing alone to confront Savanti as she fired several darts from her wrist.

Meanwhile, down in the lower parts of the crypt, Mikey began to stir as he raised his and opened his eyes, only for them to widen upon seeing an actual human skull sitting in front of him.

Mikey let out a scream as he jumped back while Leo, Po, Tigress, Donnie, Viper, Crane, Monkey, and Mantis got back up.

"Give me Michelangelo!" The vampiric Raph stated as he and Dracula came down into the lower part of the crypt. "I want to suck his blood!"

"Gah!" Mikey shrieked, scooting back. "No-one's sucking me! No way! No how!"

"Raph, snap out of it, man!" Po cried, trying to reach out to the red clad turtle. "We're your friends! Not Mr. Blood-sucker over here!"

Raph hissed, baring his fangs as he looked ready to lunge at the panda, but Dracula raised his hand, signaling for him to stop.

Dracula then slowly began to rise into the air above them, his skin turning pale and his ears turning bat-like and his eyes turned blood-shot. "You tried to destroy me, demons!" He said. "Now you will suffer!"

With a loud hiss, Dracula then swooped down towards them like a large bat.

Leo quickly aimed and fired his stake gun while Po threw a silver knife into the air, both of which the Lord of the Vampires dodged before grabbing Leo and Po by the shoulders and tackling them to the ground.

As Dracula moved to bite one of them, Tigress leapt into the air with a flying kick aimed at the vampire, only for Dracula to catch her foot. "You'll have to do better than that, my dear." He said before he spun her around and threw her into Crane and Monkey, knocking them down.

Mikey then tried to shoot him with his mini crossbow, only for Dracula to fade into mist before the arrow hit him. He then apparated behind Mikey, swatting him away with the back of his hand.

Viper leaped into the air on Dracula's left, spinning herself with her tail while Mantis aimed a flying kick on Dracula's right, only for the vampire to duck underneath them, much to their shock as they collided into each other. "Clumsy." Dracula scoffed, lightly brushing off his suit.

Finally, Donnie tried to take a swing at Dracula, only for the vampire lord to grab his staff. "Too slow." He then threw Donnie over his shoulder, sending him flying across the room.

Mikey groaned as he leaned up against one of the coffins in the crypt, rubbing the back of his sore head.

"Join us, Michelangelo." He heard a familiar voice from behind him, causing Mikey to skitter away with a yelp as he saw Raph approaching him. "Join us and drink deep."

Mikey ran as fast as he could down the hallways of the crypt, panting heavily and occasionally peeking over his shoulder to see if his vampiric brother was behind him.

As he looked over his shoulder to see if Raph was behind him, Mikey felt his foot get caught, causing him to trip and fall into a massive pit where he landed with a loud crunch.

Sitting up, Mikey gasped in horror upon seeing the pit was filled with the bones of Dracula's many unfortunate victims, their bodies laying all around him and only serving to freak him out even more.

And it was from the piles of bones that Raph emerged, his fangs glistening and his eyes glowing in the dark as he grinned and hissed, forcing Mikey to flee once more.

Meanwhile, back with the others, a familiar fog began to fill the crypt like a thin blanket while Leo, Po, Tigress, Viper, Crane, Monkey, and Mantis were still unconscious, but slowly began to stir.

Donnie, meanwhile, was able to wake himself up as he leaned against the wall. "Gotta try this 'faith' thing." He said to himself, gazing upon the mystical seal on his staff. "I gotta believe in this. The way I believe in my brothers and my friends!"

He stood up on his feet, a new-found feeling of determination filling him to the brim, he turned around, ready to face Dracula again and ready to believe…

… only to freeze upon seeing the Lord of the Vampires standing right behind him.

Before Donnie could react, Dracula grabbed him by the shoulders and slammed him to the wall all while baring his fangs as he prepared to bite him.

Donnie could only hold out the seal in front of Dracula, trying his hardest to believe as it was the only means of saving himself at this point.

Dracula laughed at the seal as it seemed to have virtually no effect on him.

Knowing he would be doomed if he didn't do something now, Donnie closed his eyes and concentrated as hard as he could, focusing all of his faith and willpower into the seal.

Suddenly, the red ruby at the center of the seal began to glow, much to Dracula's shock and horror and Donnie's surprise, as it glowed a bright white light almost like a miniature sun.

Taking advantage of the vampire's astonishment, Donnie pushed back and slammed the seal into Dracula's forehead.

Dracula let out a screech of pain as if the seal was burning him, forcing him to let go of Donnie as he held his forehead in pain.

Feeling more confident, Donnie stood back up and walked forward with the seal on his staff held out in front of him, with Dracula forced back under its bright light.

"Now you will be enslaved to the master!" Raph exclaimed, having managed to corner Mikey, and was about to move to bite him when Donnie shined the seal in his direction, causing him to hiss and back off alongside Dracula, the two vampires trying to get as far away as they could from the seal.

"Alright!" Donnie exclaimed with a grin, having the two vampires cornered.

"Thanks for the save, Don!" Mikey said with relief while Leo, Po, Tigress, Viper, Crane, Monkey, and Mantis got up.

"We've got them now!" Mantis said confidently while the others smiled in victory.

Unfortunately, all was not well in the crypt as on the other side of the ghastly room, Vulko and Esmeralda hid behind one of the stone coffins as the Pharaoh stalked them like a predator hunting it's prey.

Vulko and Esmeralda held their breath as the Pharaoh came closer to their hiding space, even peering over the coffin with a growl as he looked around, only to seemingly not notice them as he walked away.

For a brief moment, it was quiet. And Vulko and Esmeralda breathed a sigh of relief as they relaxed. But it did not last as Vulko suddenly felt an invisible force grasp his body and yank him out from behind the stone coffin as the Pharaoh levitated him in place.

"Father!" Esmeralda cried, rushing over to help her father, only for the Pharaoh to blast her back with his staff.

"Esmeralda! No!" Vulko cried before his eyes shifted back to the Pharaoh, who had his rotting hand raised and aiming for Vulko's mouth.

Vulko's eyes widened as he realized what the Mummy was intending to do. "No! No, NO!" He cried, unable to move as he was kept in place.

The Pharaoh, of course, ignored him as he thrust his hand into Vulko's mouth and forcibly pushed it down his throat and into his gullet as if he were searching for something.

Eventually, the Pharaoh pulled his hand out of Vulko's throat, and in his hands was the silver coin that Mikey had made him ingest. With the coin removed, the Pharaoh released his hold on Vulko, letting him fall to the ground.

Vulko coughed as his throat felt sore, still reeling in shock at what just happened before he felt the curse beginning to take effect once again. He growled, snarled, and even roared as his teeth grew sharper and fur began to spread over his body and his features began to turn more wolf-like.

Once his transformation was complete, Vulko let out a loud roar that echoed throughout the chamber.

And as they heard the roar, Leo, Po, Tigress, Donnie, Mikey, Viper, Crane, Monkey, and Mantis all collectively froze in silent horror, a growing sense of dread filling the room while Dracula and Raph smirked darkly.

Before any of them could react, Vulko leapt over to where they were and landed a hard punch on Donnie, knocking him into Crane and Po, sending them tumbling across the room.

Leo and Tigress both tried to attack, but Vulko grabbed them and slammed them both into a nearby stone coffin before throwing them into Mikey, Viper, Monkey, and Mantis before he leapt atop one of the coffins and roared.

Meanwhile, up above the lower part of the crypt, Renet fired several darts from her wrist device at Savanti, only for the evil Time Master to create an energy bubble around him that protected him from the darts.

Savanti then expanded the bubble into a full sized blast, catching Renet off guard and blasting her back.

"Fools." Savanti said as he and his monsters; Dracula, the Pharaoh, Vulko, and Raphael, regrouped. "I have who I came for and more." He then pulled out the emergency back-up time jumper device and used it to open another time gateway. "Let us go, my monsters!"

"No!" Leo cried as he, Po, Tigress, Donnie, Mikey, Viper, Crane, Monkey, Mantis, and Esmeralda rushed up towards them in a last ditch effort to stop them, but they were too late as Savanti, Dracula, the Pharaoh, Vulko, and Raph went through the time gateway as it closed behind them.

"They… they took Raph!" Mikey exclaimed, almost not willing to believe it.

"And my father." Esmeralda added, sounding like she was on the verge of tears.

"And now Savanti has two more monsters!" Crane pointed out.

"We have to go after them." Tigress stated determinedly.

Renet looked down at the Time Scepter, noting that it was almost completely out of power before she narrowed her eyes. "This will completely depower the Time Scepter, but we've gotta stop Savanti, for good."

She then raised the Time Scepter and thrust it forward, creating another time gateway.

"Don't worry, Esmeralda, we'll save your dad." Mikey said before jumping through the gateway.

"Yeah, no matter what." Donnie added before he jumped through the gateway as well.

"We promise." Viper said finally as she, Monkey, Crane, and Mantis jumped through the portal.

"Oh, thank you, friendly spirits." Esmeralda said with a small sad smile. "Please, please hurry."

Leo, Po, Tigress, and Renet were the last ones to go through, waving goodbye before they jumped into the gateway as it closed behind them, leaving Esmeralda all alone in the castle.

Emerald clasped her hands together almost like in a prayer. "Bring him back to me." She begged, whether it was to the Turtles, Po, the Five, and Renet or the Lord himself above, that would remain to be seen.

After floating through the time stream for some time, eventually, the group came out of the gateway and landed in a large forest, the soft earth almost cushioning their fall.

"Alright, where are we now, Renet?" Leo asked as they got, with him brushing the dirt off of his coat.

Renet looked at the Time Scepter, trying to figure out their exact time coordinates. "We're in Germany, in the year eighteen-eighteen." She then looked out into the distance, spotting a large castle in the distance at the edge of a large hill.

"Oh, not another castle!" Mantis groaned, having already had enough of castles since Shen's palace and Dracula's own castle.

"So is that where we're going next?" Po asked, pointing to the castle.

"It is, Po. Because that's not just any castle…" Renet answered as lightning flashed across the sky, followed by the loud roar of thunder.

"... that's Frankenstein's castle."
