Hey guys! I just wanted to say I'm glad to see you all again and glad that I am writing again because I haven't had access to the internet for a while because I've been out of the country with my family, specifically my house down in Mexico where there is no Wifi and in the middle of nowhere... which meant I couldn't write for a fuck long time, but it did give me time to plan out more of my stories!
Now how I address some Reviews:
Guest: We'll just have to see...
.
ferpaez99: Oh they are definitely going to know each other better!
.
Jim Darney The Weird Fictionis: That's where I got the title and a bit of inspiration from but It's also a bit of a warning for something I have planned a little later
.
and with that said let's get on with the story!
Chapter 4: On My Own...

The rest of the month went on as normal but with slight changes of course. One of these changes, of course, a big changed involved Taylor and Lincolns relationship. At school, Taylor resumed her usual routine of bullying other kids but didn't bully Lincoln as much, and Lincoln just resumed his life with his friends and family but when no one looked he would wave at Taylor who would give him a wave back half of the time. So despite what she said before, they had slowly become friends and even learned more about the other.
For example, Lincoln actually learned that Taylor really enjoys old anime shows and movies, like Evangelion, Cowboy Bebop, Akira, Perfect Blue, Sailor Moon, The Girl who lept through time, Ponyo, and Princess Mononoke.
But when not at school, both Taylor and Lincoln took their siblings to the park and talked as if they were actual friends that hung out every minute of the day.
Even exchanging numbers to text each other so their both they and Lily and Mikey could make plans for playdates and they even talked about how their day was and how they were doing in school and sometimes how their homes lives were going, which Taylor never wanted to get into detail about.
However, the day was now March 3rd and Taylor was now at the Park with Mikey waiting for the playdate that the two younger siblings had planned out with their older siblings, however, she noticed that Lincoln and Lily were late for their play date. She looked around for a minute as Mikey just played on the playground.
Taylor kept looking around until finally, she had caught a glimpse of Lily walking up to the park alone. For Taylor to see Lily alone was a bit concerning because usually, she was with Lincoln on these little playdates. She watched as Lily walked over to them and when she was close enough and Taylor walked up to Lily and once she looked at the young girl, Taylor noticed that something was bothering the young girl emotionally.
"Hey Lily" Taylor greeted her softly
Lily looked to Taylor and her expression lightened up a little and smiled at Taylor but she still looked a little troubled, "Hi Taylor!" Lily said with a smile
Taylor smiled at her softly, "Where's your Brother?" Taylor asked
At her question, Lily's expression returned to its troubled look as she looked to the ground, "Lincoln's having his nightmares again" Lily said
"again?" Taylor thought to herself "What does that mean? Does he usually have nightmares?"
"Sometimes... He gets nightmares a lot during this month for some reason" Lily said "Lisa said she might know the reason but she never tells me what it is when I ask"
Taylor found this strange, learning that for some reason Lincoln got nightmares during this month, while she wasn't that close to him and only really got to know him for half a month, it had worried her because from what she had learned even if it was small, Lincoln apparently got nightmares for a while every time March rolled around, but the question was why?
Taylor took herself out of her thoughts and looked to Lily, "Why don't you just go to play with Mikey, and don't worry I'm sure Lincoln is fine" Taylor said, "And how about after you two are done playing I'll get you guys something from the store on the way home?"
Lily smiled brightly and nodded and she ran to go play with Mikey. Taylor just smiled and then went to go sit on a nearby bench. Once she sat down she pulled out her phone and decided she would text Lincoln to see if he was ok.
Something was just bothering her, telling her that there was more to his nightmares than even he knew, and it didn't help that her thoughts were somewhat backed up when lily said that one of her other sisters, Lisa, might know what was wrong with him but wasn't doing anything about it. She opened her phone and went to Lincoln's contact and texted him not wanting him to know that she knew the reason why she was really texted him, she wanted to see if he would tell her himself
{Hey, Are you ok? Why aren't you here with Lily?} She texted
She waited for a few seconds but there was no response. She waited a few more seconds but there was still nothing. She sighed, turned off her phone, and pocketed it, and just waited for a response to her text.
She really wanted to know, why Lincoln apparently had these nightmares during March and has had it happen to him multiple times... she just really wanted to know how bad these nightmares were, what effect did they have on him and why every March, and most importantly, why hasn't anyone helped him?
It just really irked her for some reason that something terrible might be going on with Lincoln and no one helped him.

"Please! Let me come back inside! I'm cold!" Lincoln cried
Rain fell hard from the sky and it soaked Lincoln's clothes, and the wind blew hard causing him to get extremely cold. He couldn't recognize where he was but all he could see was his house's front door, he slammed his fist on it as hard as he could hoping to get someone's attention for some reason.
"Guys... p-please let m-me in... I'm c-cold" Lincoln whined
He heard dogs bark and saw that he was no longer in front of his house's front door only to find himself hiding atop a branch from stray dogs. They barked and jumped up at him trying to bite him and Lincoln felt his heart beat faster due to the amount of terror he was feeling. He still felt the cold chill and what was even worse was then the dog's barks were not the only thing he began to hear, he also heard voices around him and almost like they were right next to him and talking into his ear.
"GET OUT!"
"WE DON'T WANT YOU HERE LINCOLN!"
"IT'S YOUR FAULT I LOST!"
"GET AWAY FROM US!"
"LEAVE US ALONE! WE DON'T WANT YOU AROUND US!"
"YOUR BAD LUCK!"
"BAD LUCK! BAD LUCK! BAD LUCK! BAD LUCK! BAD LUCK! BAD LUCK!"
Suddenly there was a loud sound of thunder in his dreams and he felt that feeling of falling
Lincoln then woke up with a jolt as it felt like he had actually fallen, but he looked in front of him and saw his room wall, and then he looked around as he breathed heavily in and out in order to calm his heart rate and saw that he was truly back in his room and he removed his blanket from over him and sat in his bed and looked across his room to see his desk where his phone was charging and he got up and walked over to his desk and picked up his phone and removed it from the charger and he pressed the power button and saw a few notifications on his screen and saw a message icon on his screen.
He opened the phone and went to the message icon and saw that it was a message from Taylor and saw that she had apparently texted him about 30 minutes ago. He sighed and looked at her text.
{Hey, Are you ok? Why aren't you here with Lily?}
Lincoln sighed again, he didn't want to bother her with his nightmares. She didn't need to know and he quickly texted her back
{I Just wasn't feeling good} Lincoln replied
He waited a few minutes and another text from Taylor appeared
{You sick or something?} She asked
Lincoln typed a response once he finished reading the message, {Yeah Pretty much} he texted back. He then added another response telling Taylor that he felt bad that he couldn't walk with Lily to the park. He waited another few minutes and another text from Taylor appeared.
{You sure you're ok?} She asked before she texted again {lily seemed pretty worried about you, is there something else going on?}
Lincoln just closed his eyes and a small amount of frustration rose up in him, 'I really hope Lily didn't say anything to her about my bad dreams' He told himself, he then texted her back yet again. {I'm Fine, trust me} He responded
He waited for another response from Taylor but there was no response. He waited a little longer but there was still no reply from her. He turned off the phone and headed downstairs to get something to snack on or to drink.
As he headed downstairs he couldn't help but think about his nightmare.
For him, this happened a lot during the month of March but he never really knew why and that really made him a bit depressed and a bit angry cause he didn't know why this kept happening to him, which sucks even more because this had been going on since he was 12 and it had caused him to always dread the month of March and just waited for the nightmares to be over.
He finally arrived downstairs and headed to the kitchen. He got a can of soda and then headed back to his room, and as he walked he opened the can of soda and took a quick sip, and walked back up the stairs.
He arrived back upstairs and walked back into his room and closed his door and went to sit at his desk and put his phone on his desk and turned the screen on only to still see no response from Taylor, He sighed but figured she just took his word and she carried on playing with Mikey and maybe Lily of she was still with them at the park.
He opened his computer and set his phone on the desk next to his computer and decided to watch some YT or anime on his computer. He felt tired again but he didn't want to sleep and be back in those Nightmares and have to go through the terror again...
