Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Horde of Horrors. Enjoy the 1200-word chapter. I don't own She-Ra, Mattel and a few others do.
Catra looked at Brennus who sat in the back of the skiff. He looked at the woman who sat across from her. He cleared his throat as the Horde rode back to the Freight Zone.
"You are a warrior." Brennus said while Spyder played with a string of web. "You have fought before. I can tell, you are a fighter." Brennus said while Scorpia turned to look at them.
"Uh… People from Voruta are mostly warriors." Spyder put in as Brennus hummed. "Brennus and our dad are the strongest warriors on the planet… It's how you get the throne, rite of combat and such. Bren is pretty good at reading people, says its from so much fighting." Spyder added and got a raised eyebrow from Spyder.
"Oh, so you know people now?" Catra asked with a smirk as Brennus straightened up, he was easily as tall as She-Ra.
"It's in your eyes." Brennus retorted with a shrug. "You are cunning, you take advantages of any weakness. You're a warrior who cuts throats as soon as she sees an opportunity… Am I wrong?" Brennus asked while he raised an eyebrow and looked at Catra with a hum.
Catra said nothing, that was true, but Brennus didn't need to know. Hordak would want to know about Brennus.
"See, making friends already!" Spyder said hugging the duo which caused Brennus and Catra to let out a growl. "Hey, your not being hurt!" Spyder stated to which Catra and Brennus huffed.
The duo stared at each other. Both eyeing the other with interest, trying to mentally analyze each other. Spyder and Scorpia both shared looks at each other.
"Where are we headed?" Brennus asked to which Scorpia perked up.
"It's called the Fright Zone. Big home of our little happy family." Scorpia said to which Brennus hummed.
"I have heard of the Horde before." Brennus said while turning to his brother. "And they are at war with someone who is invading our home currently… Which means out father is still at war with them." Brennus stated as he sighed and closed his eyes.
Entrapta who was busy sitting on her own skiff. She was still gushing out over Brennus's armor, Catra had told her to study it when they arrived at the Fright Zone.
"Hey, dad can fight a war at the moment." Spyder said and shook his head as Brennus opened his eyes. "Besides, he saw us get sent here from that bomb or… Whatever it was." Spyder said to which Brennus raised an eyebrow.
"Should I point out that we were still fighting at the moment when we vanished?" Brennus responded and cracked his fingers. "He doesn't know where we are. Anyway, we have things to deal with at the moment… Like what we're going to do next." Brennus stated as he turned and hummed at Catra.
Brennus tapped his clawed fingers on the skiff. He looked at the soldiers surrounding him as well.
"If you're the commander of these soldiers, why do you look like a scavenger?" Brennus questioned with a raised eyebrow at this. "None of the soldiers are dressed like they've been in major war before." Brennus said while Catra smirked.
"Because I'm the important one." Catra responded as Brennus blinked.
"The important ones usually fight rather then allow their soldiers to do it." Brennus pointed out. "Where I come from? You must gain the right to command people…. Someone has hurt you, it's why your so good at hurting others as I see." Brennus said which got a glowering glare from Catra.
It didn't faze him. He had fought warriors before. Ones who had done everything from trying to burn his planet to ash to beating it like their war drums. Brennus simply raised an eyebrow.
"You mentioned a 'Hordak' when speaking to Entrapta." Brennus stated which got both Scorpia and Catra to turn to him. "I'm assuming he's your commander and ruler. That explains why so many troops were mobilized." Brennus said to which Spyder spoke up.
"You can stop with the war lingo, big bro." Spyder added and got a hum. "Besides, your speaking far more then you did back home." Spyder put in to Brennus.
"We were fighting a war back home." Brennus put in and swung his head towards Spyder. "I didn't have much to say. You also seem to forget dad told me to look out for you. I am doing that right now. Catra almost cut your skull open if I hadn't intercepted her." Brennus said as he and Catra resumed their staring contest.
"Your fast for a big guy." Catra responded and got a chuckle from Brennus.
"And you are quite skilled and powerful for someone small and scrappy." Brennus said before straightening up slightly. "We are not enemies… Yet. I am simply defending my brother; I will meet with this 'Hordak' without compliant. That doesn't make us friends, however. I have yet to note if you are enemy or simply defending yourselves from us." Brennus said while drumming his armored fingers on his shoulders.
"And if there is going to be violence anyway?" Catra asked as Brennus smirked under his armor.
"Then I look forward to fighting you again." Brennus said and chuckled. "I haven't fought many who could actually match me. It's impressive. Spyder? You still shouldn't conversate. Most of Voruta's knowledge is forbidden from outsiders." Brennus said while shaking his head and lowered his gaze.
He knew very well he couldn't blame his brother for his care and admiration. Brennus knew their father had taken efforts to keep his younger brother out of their more violent affairs.
"How long till we arrive at the Fright Zone?" Brennus asked with a hum. "I would like solid ground under my feet soon. There are many questions I'm sure we're both have." Brennus said as Spyder smiled.
"Great, new friends!" Spyder said to which Brennus hummed and brushed off his armor. "Should I point out that Brennus and I love new friends?" Spyder shouted and got a shake of the head.
"I wouldn't phrase it like that, little brother. I wouldn't phrase it like that at all." Brennus stated as he hummed and looked to his brother. "But I do like meeting people who can fight. She can fight, I will enjoy another fight with her." Brennus said while pointing at Catra before clicking his tongue once again against the roof of his mouth.
Catra said nothing, thinking about what Hordak would do next when it came down to it. Brennus sighed and awaited his meeting with Hordak.
Scorpia and Spyder were just happy to meet others who could become friends.

Phew. Another chapter done! I want to point out that next chapter will be delayed or such. Hordak and Brennus will be speaking soon and such. I also want to point out there will be a civil war, plotting against each other, an invasion from Skeletor and his forces and Prince Adam and them will be in the story. Next chapter will be in 2-10 months and will show more bonding and Brennus and Hordak meeting and talking. Until then, Lighting Wolf out!
