I am getting reviews with what everyone is questioning me if I wrote this chapter for the wrong story. So I stopped my update on EOTKMCH27

Chapter 44

With the adrenaline rush finally coming down from the attack and his fight against Garaa and with the new power surging through his body. Naruto slowly begins to sway back and forth before falling onto his face.

The Shinobi nearby rush to his aid as the boy had proven to them that he will not back down when faced with the destruction of his home nor when his comrades are in danger. He has proven to be more than a Chunin. He has proven here today that he would make an excellent Jonin to maybe even ANBU with the skills he holds within himself.

Unknown to the Jonin and several ANBU surround the boy. Protecting him from anyone that dares to attack him while in his weakened state there are several pairs of eyes on him. One being the ANBU Commander, Jonin Commander, and two men that are wanted from Kiri and the village they are currently hidden within.

Dragon's head slightly moves towards the man standing next to him with drooping eyes. "It appears I have found my replacement." He tells the other.

A chuckle escapes the man's lips. "Yes, I do believe you have. As I have found my own. It might be seen as favoritism." Said Shikaku Nara as he moves his arms up to cross them across his chest.

Dragon snorts from under his mask. "Then that could be said about your father. As long as I can remember Nara has been placed as Jonin Commander as your mind is the best when it comes to peace and war." He tells the man standing next to him.

"Troublesome. It is true. Since my Clan had become a part of this village the first two Hokage's felt my Clan would be a great asset to the village with our minds alone. Not even bothering with our clan's bloodline." Said Shikaku with a tired sigh.

Dragon looks at him from the corner of his eye out of the Dragon Mask on his face. "Hmmmm….True. This village is built on the shoulder of bloodlines. One those who are special in many different ways. I have many questions. I know I should never question our home. In the past few years many questioning things have happened." He comments to the man standing next to him.

"Hmmm… You are right." Said Shikaku as he moves his hand to his chin rubbing his stubble. "Since the night of the 4th death along with his wife… Our village leader as well as those on the council have done several shady things." He said looking towards Dragon once more as his eyes moved towards the roof that the 3rd Hokage is standing on. Noticing the elderly man looking down at the boy with a sneer on his face. This left an unsettling feeling with this sight before him.

Dragon notices the uneasy expression on his friend's face as he follows the man's line of sight with a frown growing on his own face. This wasn't the Hokage he grew up to know. Not the man he had served before he had stepped down and had taken up the mantle of Hokage once more.

'I was hoping he would have been killed during the Exams or during the attack. Master will not be too pleased with this little bit of information.' Sarutobi thought darkly to himself. As a sneer crosses across his face as he knows his time is drawing close and he truly needs to give his Master the thing he wishes for the most.

Snake Lair

A single crimson eye glows softly in the dark as the massive stone door slowly opens as cursing could be heard from the now opening door.

"Hello Orochimaru. It appears our plan has failed. You have failed me once more." Said the glowing crimson eye.

Flames on the candles that surround the room come to life around them. Sitting before the Snake Sannin is a man wearing a wooden spiral mask with a single hole for the man's lone crimson eye. "What has brought you here Madara?" He demands with a strain voice.

A dark deep chuckle fills the room sending chills down the snake's back as his golden eyes dim with something unknown to the snake. "My dear little snake. You are an investment to me that I need to keep around just a little longer. For you to make me some interesting little play things to handle things I do not want to deal with or for my little pawns to handle." He told the man with a sparkle in his lone crimson eye.

Orochimaru turns his head away from the lone crimson eye, borrowing deep into his soul. He lets out a long deep sigh. "There are several of my test subjects that are ready for you to take. I regret to inform you that the sound four have fallen during the attack as the Kyubi brat brought the seal barror that they had erected to keep all out of our way. As well the final member of the sound 4 has fallen ill for his bloodline is slowly killing him and is being healed within a seal sleep to keep him a little long so I am able to extract some DNA from him to create a new clone or test subject out of him." He told the man sitting on his throne.

Madara hummed as he slowly nodded his head to the snake's words. "I would like you to push on recreating his bloodline as the dead bone would be a great weapon I would like in my rankings. Have several carried within women that you believe would be fitting to carry the children. As well I would like for you to make several clones. I have several test items that I would like you to splice into their DNA code." He told Orochimaru as a portal opened up before him as he threw the vials at the man. Orochimaru quickly used his tongue to catch the vials.

"As you wish." Said Orochimaru as he bows to the man that is finally standing up and moving to the black portal vanishing from the Snakes Lair. 'Now let's find out how this will work out.' He thought with a nasty smirk on his face as he turned on his heel to head down to his lab.

'Let's see how an Uzumaki's blood would work with carrying one of those children.' He thought as insane laughter is hard echoing through the caves his lair is built in.

Uzumaki Compound

"Kit." Calls Kurama from his open cage as he watches the meadow before him as bunnies and butterflies dance around.

Waking up leaning against a large oak tree. He blinks his eyes several times as he tries to figure out where he was at. His head snaps over to the open cage doors that the cage had been slowly turning into a cave with ivy and flowers growing over the cave walls. "Kurama?" He rasps out as his voice appears to be weakened during the battle and with all the screaming and yelling he had done in a short amount of time.

"Yeah kit it's me." Said Kurama as his body shifts into a man with long crimson hair with crimson eyes. As he is also wearing a tight black shirt showing off his muscles as well as black cargo pants with black boots.

"Why do you look like that Kurama?" Questions Naruto a little shocked at the sight before him.

A deep strong chuckle escaped his lips. "I am finally complete." He told him with a massive shit eating grin on his face.

Naruto's jaw drops open with shock on his face. "Re…..really?" He questions with shock. "B…..but….but…how?" He questions once more with tears brimming at the corner of his eyes.

Kurama stands before his kit. "The Shinigami showed up when you began transforming into Hades. You were absorbing me into yourself." He looked away from his kit as he moved his right hand up to the back of his neck rubbing it. "You almost killed me. Shigagami appeared and pulled my other half out of your father. For it isn't my time just yet to pass. With this form I am able to leave your mindscape as I have been tasked with aiding you to grow into your new powers. As you are not ready just yet. You need to awaken more of your memories of your past life as Hades. With your life with Princess Serenity. The future Queen of this world. For when she comes to age. She will rise and with the power of the Silver Crystal will purify the world of hate, lust, and other dark thoughts." He tells his kit with a smile on his face.

Naruto dumbly nods his head at what he is being told.

"I will tell you about this kit now. Once she comes into power. You will not have all your other wives. They shall just be members of your court. For your heart and soul is just meant for one and only one. I know at this moment you had married those girls to protect them from what could happen to them. As well the children you have with them will not be seen as the Lunar Royal court. They will only be seen as the Uzumaki Royal family." Kurama tells him as he watches the guilt grow on the boy's face.

"I know…..I have wondered if some of them truly love me or just love the idea of me saving them from past pains." Naruto tells his brother…his father in all but blood. His eyes never leave the man/BIJU standing before him.

Kurama nods his head in agreement. "I do understand and know the feeling. For you have been destined to be with Serenity before the Moon Kingdom had fallen. That day was a very dark day in all worlds when the Princess had died…..when the Queen….no Goddess had given up her life to make sure her daughter and royal court would have a second chance in life." He said as he shook his head from the thoughts of the past life he had before he had become the Kyubi with a frown on his face.

Naruto cockes a brow at the man's actions before him. "You are keeping something from me Kurama." He tells him as he crosses his arms across his chest.

Kurama looks back up at him with a sheepish smile on his face. "I am. For now it isn't the time for you to learn about what I am hiding from you." He tells his kit with a smile.

"Well I do hope the time will come soon." Naruto tells him as he looks down to the grass below his sandals feet. He looks back up with a soft smile. "I do respect your wishes." He adds with a smile.

"Thanks kit. I am glad you are allowing me this time I do need." Kurama tells him with a gentle smile on his face.

"I am glad." Said Naruto with a beaming smile on his face as he is glad for his father except him.

Naruto cockes his head to the side with a single thought. "How did you get your other half with my father dead and with his soul trapped in the body that snake fuck had him in?" He questions wanting to know this answer as it had been weighing heavy on him as he now thinks more about it.

Kurama chuckles as he just grins. "That is a story for me to tell." He tells his kit as he motions his chin to the right of Naruto.

He turns around to follow the line of sight. His eyes widen with shock as there are two people standing next to the oak tree he had been sleeping against.

I hope you all enjoy this replacement chapter as I am going to go and enjoy "Keeping Secrets by Sharry93." For it's a pretty good One Piece story that is the 3rd book in the series as it centers our Zoro and Mihawk. The first book will have you in tears. Hell, even the third one will as well.
