Chapter 9. Two Types Of Intrusion. Part 2

A couple of minutes later. The Blue Ranger was running in a straight line until he caught up to the Green Ranger; the latter one had his sight enhanced in detail due to the usage of binoculars.

"Seen anything yet?"

"No sign of any alien flying vehicle." – Kai responded, while attempting to fasten the return of normal breathing.

Damon twisted the dials on top of the binoculars to adjust the zoom function. Some degree of shakiness is experienced.

"And you?"

"No. I'm certain that there must be one, though."

Suddenly, a Kai's communicator started flashing.

"Kai here."

"It's Commander Stanton. We've just received some disturbing news."

There was definite grievance in the male's voice.

"I'm listening."

"We were unable to reach 2 of our men a minute ago."

With that news heard, the recently hurt of the duo swiftly took a different approach to the situation. Main evidence – the removement of the binoculars. An undoubtable outcome of this information is the emergence of grim futures for them & the occupants of Terra Venture.

Back at the Sports Center. Maya was practicing her hand to hand combat with the standard size punching bag; Leo was admiring her in several aspects, with the his back leaning to the wall, when the both of their communicators went off.

"What is it, Kai?" – the Red Ranger asked.

Even though the well groomed male lacked coordination and speed compared to the female, he was unoccupied when the signal came in.

"Leo,… I know you're still not a 100% percent, but it appears that the Unknown are back."

"There maneuverability is amazingly fast."

"True. And given the facts about our last encounter with them, even a 60% you is better than only 3 of us going against the threat."

One could sense that both Kai & Leo expressed themselves with care, caution and pragmatism; the latest of the trio being the core motivator for a still recovering Ranger ready to jump back into the fight.

"Send us the coordinates, Kai! We'll be there as soon as we can." – Maya let out.

"Good to hear you're both ready for the fight. You'll get it in several seconds. Kai out."

The transmission went dead. The Yellow Ranger wasted no time in getting of a pair of boxing gloves, changing her shorts to running ones & launching herself with her intimate partner after the Unknown.

Less than a minute later.

"Feeling overwhelmed, Human?!"

"Not even slightly, Furio." – Crius answered cold-heartedly, disappointingly.

The engaged duo stamped their feet into the ground and decided to test each other's patience. Some seconds passed with silence encapsulating them.

"You'll suffer not only for refusing to give me the scroll, but for the harm you issued onto the Stingwingers."

"You mean there annihilation?"

A vile smile surfaced on the hickory brown eyed male's face.

"They have themselves to blame for not understanding what they signed up for."

"I'll make you pay for that."

At that moment, the blue skinned male launched at the Demigod, took a couple of swipes, aimed predominantly at his ribs. Crius dodged both hits with barely breaking a sweat.

"Alright, Furio. Time for this to end."

Suddenly, a somewhat retreated, backfooted Scroll holder took out a bizarrely arow shaped, close combat weapon. The coloring was two toned: the larger part being gold, while the smaller part – pine green. A circular part resting at the center of the arrow shaped weapon, the end, handle instilling an idea of a tapered triangle; the probable handle showing off equal sections of crimson red & black coal.

Soon, their weapons clashed and achieved a standstill. A tint of surprise entered Furio's mind; main reason – his opponent only resorted to show his weapon when the battle was clearly past the beginning.

"What now?!"

Crius eyes widened, callousness grew within his emotion state.

"This."

In a split second, the male Demigod broke the deadlock of their weapons and with astounding, hard to process movement propelled himself at his opponent. A hard swipe at the upper chest area, a severing of the arm with the saber & vicious diagonal slash from the same arm to the opposite upper hip.

"Aaaah."

Crius arranged his body back to a normal stance; in that timeframe, Furio's life depleting, 3 healthy limbed body fell to the ground.

"Strangely, my mind keeps coming back to the freshness of what is transpiring right now. What has unfolded in the last two weeks is in a different dimension in terms of desire."

He took a couple of napkins and cleaned off his unique close combat weapon. Then with little hesitation got back on track.

Terra Venture's Detention Facility. The defeated, humiliated, faithless Euphrosyne's Esteem Bishop sat on a basic wooden bench inside of a square room. Her arms were triple cuffed, while the legs – only once. It didn't matter in which direction did the being look it was all graphite grey. Throughout the time spent here, the mind's content, flow of ideas had changed dramatically. The smooth brown haired female Demigod purposed Mekasta for the Quasar saber acquisition assignment in front of all the other Demigods. A bold move, remembering that she more than likely persuaded Nemesis to assist her in achieving the goal. That was certainly the conclusion that the other 4 agreed upon. Therefore, in essence, though extremely unfairly, Mekasta had failed every Royal.

The entrance to the square room was of a meter (~3 ft) thick, ash grey door. It had a special designed, one of a kind, gigantic key as a tool to open it. Outside stood 4 guards, 2 on each side and two others patrolled the long corridor going to the sides from the entrance perspective. Out of nowhere, one of the heavy distance covering guards receive a transmission from Commander Stanton.

"Yes, Commander."

"Is the fugitive still contained?" – he inquired in a serious tone.

"Correct, sir."

"Then I must advise you to be extra cautious and warn your fellow guards. Her allies are back on Terra Venture; they might try to free her. Now the Rangers and at least a dozen men are on the lookout for them. If any infiltration is detected, notify me immediately."

"Will do, Commander."

At the Main Entrance. There was a decently thick area of trees about 70 meters (~230 ft) away from the entrance into the Detention Facility. An extremely precise, shrewd, elegant traversing of it had been recently completed by two hooded figures. Now, they stood on the relative 3rd line of plants, completely obscuring their bodies from anyone's eyes that were in front of them.

"They appear to have recently gotten word of Denirium's & Horacio's escapade."

"Still,…we rather not rush this stage of our plan."

"Agree, Yves. Euphrosyne will resort to punish every one of us by herself if we miscalculate our strike."

"Let's not remove Nemesis from the same equation. This would be a joint collapse, Delanfa." – Yves cautiously whispered.

"Without a doubt."

Somewhere else. During the preflight arrangements for the space voyagers, time managing was a crucial step. The leading, governing body had to put together a package of activities for the inhabitants of the soon to launch Space Station. One of the easy solutions was sports. Now, there was the indoor ones that were concentrated to only a couple of locations; one of which was present with Rangers not so long ago. The outdoor ones were spread far along the entire station; an example being a volleyball court just nestled in between a densely populated area. Sadly, that joyous ground was greeted to two figures, who weren't there to use it for its purpose.

"We could reek some damage here too." – said a walking Horacio, arms crossed behind his back.

"The place does appear to have multiple beings close by." – Denirium added.

Several seconds later, out from one of the buildings came the ace protectors of Terra Venture.

"You go no further!" – Kai shouted.

The four Rangers arranged themselves into a line: Damon on the farthest left, then Kai, Maya & the still hobbled Leo.

"Let's Ranger up."

They took their Quasar sabers and ferociously aimed them at the sky. Fairly quickly the quartet was covered in their battle suits.

"You won't be strolling around here anymore!" – Maya voiced harshly.

They aimed their weapons at the duo; everyone's stance – unique.

"They've arrived."

"So it would appear." – said a confident, delighted Horacio.

A button was pressed on a contraption of some sort nestled on his left radius bone, more or less.

Delanfa's normal watch size device saw a dash of chartreuse green.

"They've engaged the Rangers."

"Then we can execute our part of the plan."

Yves grabbed a circular, multiple sharp edged projectile from her back.

"It will either get the two at the back or at the very least divert their attention from us."

"Very good."

A cyan tinted sword handle smacked at the tree with very low momentum behind it.

At the Main Entrance. A guard noticed a brisling of the wind within the forested area.

"Sir. There is movement in between trees."

The male in front of the duo quickly analyzed the situation, swiftly issued a command:

"Get ready! They're here!"

He loaded up his rifle; the duo behind him quickly followed. One of them saw what was making the air particles move out of the way.

"Deadly projectile on the left!"

In an instance, all of them darted their heads to the incoming threat. With extreme precision, the hooded females launched themselves from their spot in behind the trees at the same time. The most forward of the trio captured with the edge of the eye two beings rushing at them from the front.

"They're coming from the trees!"

Yves plan was perfectly manifesting itself in the World. A two fronted assault, both threats being severe to the males' health in seconds caught the trio in an indecisive state. The male in front realized that the sharp edged projectile was aimed at the duo; therefore, he fully refocused his attention on the foot based enemies. The problem with that was that their opponents had timed their attack as best one could hope. So how it all went down?

The duo turbulently moved backward, descended into a crouch position & aimed their rifles at the foot based enemy. Even though their judgement of the sharp edged projectile proved to be accurate, Delanfa & Yves were quick enough to get to them before they could muster up the shot. The front one did shoot several bullets at Delanfa, but she deflected all of them. With an upward slash across the upper body, one fell; Yves smashed the right (by her approach) one's neck with a substantial pole; with a spiral, no look kicked the gun to a direction where a shot would be useless, then with the other half of the pole landed a hard hit to his jaw. The pain was enough to loosen the hands, so gun fell to the ground. Delanfa then landed a piercing blow barely below his right shoulder.

"We've reached the building."

They smiled at each other. As soon as Yves caught her projectile, placed back to its original position, they entered the Detention Facility.

Before the females emerged from obstruction. Both parties at the volleyball court were reading each other's physiques. From the Ranger's standpoint, their opponent, almost certainly allied with Mekasta, extruded some freshness. Rather than being of female sex, both were male; also, possessed distinctiveness. Denirium – a tall (197cm, 6ft 4'), tawny brown skinned, muscle heavy being that fiercely handled a Halberd axe. Horacio – height wise, only a bit over Denirium's shoulder, pearl white skinned, extremely short ginger haired being, explicitly refusing to show his choice of weapon. About 18 meters (~60 ft) separated the engaged opposing forces.

"Leave us be, Humans,…" – Horacio started calmly.

"And we'll forget your wasting of our time." – Denirium ended with more than enough callousness creeping in the back.

"Sorry to disappoint you two." – Damon stated.

"Yeah. We're not going to let you go on causing destruction all over the city." – the Yellow Ranger confidently expressed.

Denirium fractioned his palms at the metal bar; felt a surge of lust for pain.

"Well,… then I'll set the tone."

[The females emerge from obscurity]

Rapidly, Horacio angled his right hand backward, took control of a spear, took a few steps and threw at an immense speed at the Rangers. Luckily for the quartet, Kai successfully read the trajectory, screamed:

"Damon!"

He threw himself at the Green Ranger, pushed himself to his left. By doing so, the spear that Horacio threw went past his head a few centimeters.

"That was close." – Leo mentioned.

Damon soon realized what Kai had achieved.

"Thanks, Kai. I'd have been beheaded."

"Think it as a way… to cement our friendship." – said the Asian decent male, feeling lackluster, imbalanced.

The pearl white skinned male felt a little dissatisfied.

"You've dodged a major blow, Humans."

"Alright. Move onto the next stage, Horacio."

"Right with you, friend."

He pulled out to grabbed to pistols of his harnesses on the lower back.

"Look out!" – Leo shouted.

Small laser projectiles came flying at the Blue & Green Ranger.

"Time to evade." – said Damon.

Maya was the first to rush over and help the duo deflect the projectiles. Leo had started to move to his side, when he saw that the taller enemy had begun to sprint towards them.

"Incoming muscle." – the Red Ranger thought.

"We're going to have a difficult time here, guys."

"They're as coordinated as she and her allies were."

"We've got to be fully in the moment. Their coming to execute us." – the Yellow Ranger mentioned.

And swiftly after, the ginger haired male got back to shooting.

A couple of minutes later. There was intense movement within the corridors of the imprisoned 'criminals'; the leader of surveillance – Captain Eastwon – was walking at a high speed with 2 Humans of both sexes behind him, in a straight line.

"Commander. I've just lost all contact from the man at the Main Entrance." – the male voiced, deep concerning flourishing in the back of it.

"Understood, Captain Eastwon. Try and hold out the intruders as mush as possible. I'll call the Rangers & inform them of your current situation."

"Very well, sir. Eastwon out."

Suddenly, Euphrosyne's Esteem Bishop got flustered due to one of the military members landing a punch to the left part of her face.

"Darn you."

At the same time, Yves got to the ground, used a lot of her energy to knock one of her opponents to the ground. In the preferred fall, Nemesis's loyal female thrusted the pole at the neck. Luckily for him, it did not break it. Soon, Delanfa brushed off the error she made and claimed victory over her foe.

"Still up to the task?"

"You bet."

A satisfied Yves glanced to her right; the impression could not have been much better.

"A staircase."

"One we should use?"

"Absolutely."

A grin of pleasure appeared.

"If you had someone extremely dangerous, where would you lock him or her up? At an upper level? Ground level? Or the lower, maybe even lowest, level of a building, so that escaping would require significant effort?"

Delanfa merely nodded & the two females dashed towards the staircase.

Within interchanging roads. Four laser bolts come flying in at a building's wall; consequently, creating light grey dust in the air.

"Ha!.. Ha!.. Ha!.."

The Blue Ranger was heavily breathing behind the recently damaged structure.

"That guy is a maniac with those pistols."

"Even me with my natural speed can't keep up with his." – Maya painfully admitted.

As of this moment, Kai stood on one side of a street, Damon & Maya – on the other. That left Leo – the seemingly most vulnerable one – against the tall, muscular combatant. Normally, the Red Ranger would engage his opponent with full force throughout the fight. The recent unconscious leaving hit to the face resulted in a different tactical approach. He had to be far more precise with his movement and opportunities to lock weapons. Just now, he threw his body out of the way of a straight cutting attempt from Denirium.

"It hardly seems you're up for the fight, Human."

A reestablishment of one's stance; the Halberd axe being gripped as strongly as before. By this point, the Rangers odds of winning were far lower than losing.

Then, to make matters even worse, Commander Stanton signaled to them, quickly informed them of the attack on the place, where Mekasta was being held.

"A two-front attack? With 2 here and 2 more there?" – Damon asked rhetorically, feeling overwhelmed by the opposing entity.

"That makes winning almost impossible, guys. Me & Kai barely handled one of them. Not to mention the fact that Leo can't sustain his effort against the tall one."

Horacio was less than 10 meters (~33 ft) away from the street intersection. Naturally, when he reaches it, the trio will be back in his sights.

Kai deeply breathed; his mind ran an analysis on the current situation. The first idea that came to mind – the dire reality. Leo was strong, but, instinctively, the Blue Ranger processed that it would not be enough. During the time they ran, while simultaneously dodged or deflected their enemies shots, the sound of an aching foe was nowhere to be heard. One of Damon & Maya had to engage the shooter; therefore, letting him rush as fast as possible over to the Detention Facility. The other – assist Leo in fighting the close ranged one. Was the approach a high risk one? You best believe it. Thought, Kai argued in his mind that they were supposed to be the protectors of Terra Venture & the Universe. While participating in such a role, one should be willing to put his life on the line.

Several seconds later. 4 meters (~13 ft) to go. The Asian decent male made rapid hand gestures to his colleagues; the duo of Rangers examined their meaning.

3 meters (~10 ft) to go.

"Alright. I got it." – Damon whispered.

"Launch at him. I'll aid Leo."

They nodded to Kai; he processed this expression as a signal that they understand the plan. That is why he got a message out to the Commander.

"I'm on way."

And with that, he turned around & started to gain momentum while leaving Horacio & Denirium with the other 3 Rangers. In the upcoming seconds: Horacio arrived at the intersection; since his original target was Kai, he came to it with both laser pistols aimed at said direction, Kai's growing momentum incised the pearl white skinned male to shoot as fast as possible at him. Continuing on, the Green Ranger jumped at the enemy's blind side; unfortunately, the latter oversaw it and spun around to avoid a downward slash that would have most likely cut off his left hand. The Yellow Ranger dashed around the corner with the sole goal of getting to the close combatants down the street.

Back at the Facility. Captain Eastwon was at the Mekasta's cell; there were 10 other guards beside him present in the proximity of it.

"Captain. I've gotten news from the Rangers."

"And? Will they be able to help?"

"One of them has transmitted a note to me that states one will come. Alas, I wouldn't be that hopeful. It appears the Rangers have run into 2 more of our guest's friends."

The male perfectly understood the hidden meaning behind it.

"Understood. Then it is good that we've locked down 2 doors from the direction the enemy will come."

"Well done. That might provide us with enough time. Anyway, I'm coming with 4 men to assist you in preventing her escape."

"Noted, sir."

The transmission cut off.

"Be brave, people! The threat will soon be at our door."

The first part of the message was said with far more emotion than the latter.

In less than a minute, the female duo were at the straight that led to Mekasta's containment room. The Esteem Bishop stepped forward, brushed the door, decided to slowly push it open.

"Locked."

"They know of our presence."

"Guess they're more coordinated than I assessed."

A hint of fear started to emerge within Euphrosyne's loyalist; they managed to arrive at a stumbling point. Fortunately, Yves was groomed with a harsher mindset.

"A setback, Delanfa, but not a complete one."

Nemesis's loyalist grabbed a test-tube of her belt.

"Let me get us there quickly."

She walked over to the door, attached some type of rubber material to the center of it; then the test-tube came sticked to it. Some proved chemical experiment was on the cusp of being seen or felt by ever being on that floor.

Horacio read the Rangers' shifted tactical approach so smoothly that a counterattack was not particularly hard to conceive. When Damon attempted to make use of the long ranged fighter's disadvantage again, the less menacing looking of the duo swiftly put the right pistol away. In its place, appeared a machete.

"Tsss! Tsss! Tsss!"

The sound of Damon's & Horacio's blades connecting with each other.

Meanwhile, Leo had locked his Quasar saber at the lower end of Denirium's axe. The former attempting to slice at the shoulder height of the latter's. The tawny brown skinned male had been perceptive up to this point; the results – he had observed & examined the Red Ranger's attack's strength value. A pattern – one that was greatly detrimental to the 'Chosen Ones' odds of success.

"Your slipping, Human. Surrender before I destroy you."

"No way!"

The tall male felt a sense of delight due to the vision of how much suffering he was about to hand his opponent. The Yellow Ranger took the opportunity to attack at his blind side.

"Hah. Double knock-out."

Suddenly, Denirium incentivized the separation of their blades, took a step and at a high speed bludgeoned Leo to the right of his face with the blunt end of his Halberd axe. The relative energy drain, not fully healed head, as critical as a hit as one could crave – all of these factors culminated in Leo transforming back to normal and falling to the ground on his left side, immersed in pain.

"Come here!" – Damon shouted.

Soon, their weapons entered a standstill.

"No one is leaving this zone." – Horacio mentioned with extreme calmness.

"I see it differently."

The Green Ranger's opponent did not need both hands to handle his weapon; it would prove to be the crucial point in their defeat. The short ginger haired male put his other pistol away. Then poured a massive sum of energy into breaking the deadlock in a favorable way. Several seconds later he succeeded. By appearing in the point he craved, the sight of the fleeing Blue Ranger enticed more effort from him. Damon was out of balance to his side; furthermore, not close enough to stop a long ranged strike. That is exactly what Horacio had planned. He took out another spear, took a couple of steps and threw it at the Kai. The outrageous velocity of the weapon proved to be enough to catch up with the Blue Ranger; not to mention, penetrate through the entire left hip.

"TSAAAAAAAAAAH!"

Due to the fact that he was already running, the inflicted damage sent an unrelenting tsunami of pain to his mind. Being unable to take it, he lost all of his pace and tumbled downward.

Even with the speed that Maya came, which she thought would be enough to get the muscular foe off his stance, failed. Denirium managed to swivel around, fiercely pushed the female's Quasar saber to the side and, quicker than she could return to block, with the back, tiny sharp point of the axe landed a noteworthy hit to her ribs.

"Tsssh!"

He wasn't done yet. An extremely fast reangling of the weapon for another swipe, this time aimed unorthodox at her breasts, appeared on the fruition stage. Struggling, scavenging the Yellow Ranger moved her saber fast enough to deflect at least half of the damage. Still, the axe graced past her costume covered erogenous zone & powered her down.

"Aaaah!"

The female fell to her knees, crossed her hands in behind both armpits.

Another blade lock from Damon & Horacio; in this instance, Damon had been going for Horacio's head. The short ginger haired male spun around his machete into a 90 degree dart; the Quasar saber connected with it near the center.

"Face it. The battle is over. You & I both know it."

Due to their eyesight position, the Green Ranger only captured a small amount of the action between his colleagues and the other foe. However, that miniscule part of the frame still had a revelation to produce. Denirium was going at a normal pace to their position. Damon knew what the overwhelming message was; the sole bright spot – their livelihood.

"I'll get you."

In a split second, Horacio raised his eyebrows; clearly, the intention was to mock his opponent. Couple the incitement with the reality that his chances at prevailing over both of them was unnoticeable, the Green Ranger initiated the blades splitting apart.

He circled around, tried the other side of Horacio's body. The latter one blocked the hit again. More concerning was that Denirium's Halberd axe only needed to bridge a few more meters before conducting a critical hit. The desperation inside Damon's mind created a negative effect – blood circulation throughout all limbs got disbalanced, infrequent, uneven. A last resort attack by Damon was dodged by his foe and, more importantly, an interrupted, upward slash across his left side retransformed him back to his unsuited self. Since the launch had significant movement behind it, the Green Ranger fell down in pain, similarly to how the Blue Ranger went down.

Meanwhile. Clouds of dust circled around near the top of the walls, the ceiling; lots of figures laid on the cold ground. The atmosphere in the corridors – one of a aftermath of a war. 3 beings walked out from an imprisonment room: Delanfa went first, still triple handcuffed around the arms Mekasta – 2nd, last one – Yves.

"I appreciate your company, Mekasta, but…"

The yellow haired female's tone changed from a caring one to grim one.

"…attempt any type of escape before we reach Home…"

"…and they'll be harsh consequences." – Yves finished the messaging.

"I get it." – the failed Esteem Bishop sounded.

The female trio made their way back to the Main Entrance.

A minute later. Denirium just finished examining the condition of every Ranger.

"I believe we're done here."

"I agree. They'll be unable to sabotage our goal from here on in."

"Then we should meet up back at the start."

Horacio nodded & the duo walked away from their injured opponents. The sense of urgency had left them; naturally, their self-awareness of the way things had panned out meant that rushing got pushed to the back catalogue of their minds. Very soon they got a flashing signal, which led to more fruition of delight.

A group of six Humans, grey armored were almost at the Detention Facility. One of the most forward one's eyes latched onto a crucial detail.

"Captain. The front guards bodies." – a female stated.

He swiftly analyzed the same sight.

"Stanton was right. They're already inside."

"Who knows, Captain? They might have already broke out the prisoner."

"A likely outcome, Terrence."

Suddenly, the leader sensed a unique inkling; with little hesitation, he acted on it.

"There coming. Everyone get behind the wall. Now." – the male said at an unnaturally high speed.

"Roger that."

The 6 military members ran out of the visible area from the Main Entrance, loaded their weapons & eagerly anticipated the coming moments.

Astoundingly, the Captain's hunch proved to be correct; Delanfa walked out of the building several seconds after their brushing of the wall. Euphrosyne's Esteem Bishop angled her eyes to both sides at least a dozen times before stating:

"Appears to be void of enemies."

"For now, Delanfa."

"How many of them do you see?"

"2 not counting the imprisoned one." – a male answered.

"Should we engage them?" – a female inquired.

The Captain had a bolt of indecisiveness struck to his emotional state. 2. For the leader, the realization that only a duo managed to infiltrate, slaughter and break out their prisoner, more than likely, unscathed terrified him. If Captain Eastwon could not thwart their efforts with double the man power, what chance did he truly possess? He instinctively argued that the trio would make their way off of the Space Station as quickly as possible; therefore, injuring civilians did not fit into the equation. Debatably, a transmission was being sent from Commander Stanton.

"Commander. Nistov here."

"Have you reached the facility, Captain?"

"Yes, sir. We have."

"What of the enemy?"

"They've just recently left the building & one of my men is overseeing them walking out into the distance."

The Commander took a second to way the upcoming message's context.

"Do not engage them. Send a couple of your men to my coordinates, while you and the remaining ones check out the status of our people inside the Facility."

"May I ask, why do you require a couple of people at your side?"

"No worries, Captain,…"

He took a deep breath.

"All 4 Rangers have suffered substantial injuries from their encounter with the enemy. I'm going to need them to help them get back to the Medical Center."

"Understood. They'll join as soon as they can."

"Commander out."

The six military members swiftly split up.

On the flat planet. The hickory brown eyed male Demigod entered back into the settlement; illustrious, scary, fierce orange flames came from both sides of the path. He did not waste a lot of time in grasping, how long has the demolishing being implemented.

"Seems about right." – he thought calmly, in harmony.

Suddenly, from out of one of the one story clay houses, the High Commander showed his face.

"Lord Crius. As you can see, your wish is being implemented at this very moment."

"A true statement, High Commander. I'm curious about the state of the natives."

"You mean, how we're handling them?"

"Correct. A lot have tried to engage with you?"

"Not so many after the outer circle extermination."

"Excellent, Commander. How much more of our explosive material remains?"

"Around 60%."

"Keep the momentum going with the last 10."

The Demigod took the parchment into his palm and thrusted it out in front of him.

"I've obtained what we came here for. Finish the destruction process and come back to the ship."

The Scroll of Genesis went back onto his belt.

"I'll be waiting for you there."

"Understood, Lord Crius."

While the High Commander went back into the settlement, Euphrosyne's brother chose to go around the inhabitant area. Main reason – lower exposure to the innate toxicity of fumes.

Onboard a Space ship.

"I can't believe it! Furio has been defeated." – Trakeena expressed, clearly displeased at this outcome.

She was fiercely stamping around in Scorpius's Throne room. The realization of where she was started to stabilize her emotional state. Yet, not before Scorpius stated:

"Daughter. Retain your focus."

The female insectoid spun around slowly to face him.

"Of course, Daddy. We must not lose sight of your goals."

"That is true, Daughter. We must not."

A moment of silence came to pass.

"Summon Vorgton to my Throne room as soon as you're able, Trakeena."

A fast sequence countermove was nowhere on the female's radar; that is why she was fairly taken by this different tactic. Again, before she had the chance to voice her thoughts, Scorpius let out a great sum of steam from his body.

"Daddy?"

In less than a minute, the hard to move, seemingly limbless body of his transformed into one which had two legs, four arms and a casual biped figure.

"You're actually going to come out of your dormant cage?"

"Desperate times, Daughter. Desperate times."

He took a couple of steps.

"When Vorgton has come, we'll discuss the way we're going to handle these strong creatures. Furio's will is my will! Mine! And whoever is opposed to me, will suffer severely!"

A menacing, vile, callous laugh echoed through the entire Throne room.
