A/N: Ash and Misty have decided to let their inhibitions go. Whatever the consequences they will need to figure out what this means not just for themselves but for Skye. Hope you like the surprise at the end of this chapter.
Charlie woke up early for once, deciding to try and achieve the morning routine Ash and August had when they were training in Silver Town. While getting tea, Charlie realized in reflecting on those days he never actually found out from Ash how any of the training helped. Though he felt like a better Pokemon Trainer, he still didn't know how chopping wood, carrying water did anything. Noticing a handful of competitors already up, he saw them all looking at their phones intrigued, then he heard audio that sounded like moans. The one trainer who was playing it suddenly got beat red and lowered the volume. Charlie went up and asked, "What was that?"
Leaning over and whispering, the trainer said, "It is possibly Ash Ketchum and Misty Waterflower." Showing him the audio play track that was at the bottom of a gossip article. Charlie pulled out his own phone and making sure the sound was off he read the article trying to figure out what it knew. Deciding not to play the audio he still was a little shade of red, reading the details of what it claimed would be heard in the audio. All he could find was them saying their anonymous source recorded the audio and gave it to them in the wee hours last night. Running back to his dormitory with August and Skye bursting in causing Skye to yelp. Waking up August who was sound asleep. Noticing Skye was in just a towel, Charlie closed the door and waited outside while August got out of his bed and stood outside the door with Charlie. "What led to you bursting in, this morning?" August asked, "I was in such a good sleep."
"Skye needs to stay in the dormitory, if she comes out in her usual look, there are going to be whispers of something I don't think she would appreciate." Charlie said.
"That was very vague Charlie, what could possibly…." August started as he saw the article headline on Charlie's phone. Taking the phone August scanned it quickly, then had a blush cross his face as he read what the article described would be on the audio clip. Skye was opening the door when both boys pushed her back inside.
"What the heck guys?" Skye exclaimed, "First Charlie almost sees me naked, now you both are keeping me inside before breakfast, what could–"
August handed Charlie's phone to Skye, "Read this first then we can figure out how to get you breakfast." Skye's eyes widened as she saw the article headline, and just as she reached the written description of the audio she yelped shoving the phone back into Charlie's hands. Stomping away Skye began pacing, disgusted that someone recorded her parents assuming it was them. "I need food," Skye said, still not stopping her pacing.
Charlie volunteered to get food, only for August to say, "No, I will get it! You stay here with Skye."
Over in a hotel room, a couple was beginning to stir. Smiles on their faces, they eyed each other, brown eyes met viridian. When their lips met they smiled saying, "Good morning." Misty sighed then she heard a vibrating sound, worried it could be Skye, Misty quickly disentangled from Ash and found her phone buried under a mountain of clothes. Ash was ready to stay in bed when he heard his own phone vibrating, weirded out that someone was trying to call him this early. Ash feared it was Clement, Serena, or even May. Misty saw on her phone it was Daisy, deciding it must be important to call this early. Misty answered the call before she got a word out, Daisy cut through saying, "Misty please tell me you didn't sleep with Ash last night."
"What?" Misty said, taken aback by the blunt question.
"Misty–"
"Mom?" Ash answered his own phone.
"Ash, did you sleep with Misty last night?" Delia inquired of her son.
"What?" Ash exclaimed loudly.
"OH MY GOD YOU DIDN'T!" Daisy exclaimed, hearing Ash's voice through Misty's phone.
"Daisy what are you talking about, why would you be asking that?" Misty asked urgently.
"Ash Ketchum I can hear Misty, did you sleep with her?" Delia asked through the phone in a tone that implied do not lie to me.
Blinking as Ash saw Misty's face Ash replied, "Yes, mom."
Putting it together, Misty asked, "Daisy, why would Delia be calling Ash?"
"Misty, there is a gossip article that has gone at least a bit viral." Daisy sighed, "Look if you can say you definitely didn't sleep with him, we as in your family and sisters can be a certain level of aggressive."
Ash wasn't really listening to Misty's conversation with Daisy, as his mom kept ranting about discretion, and other things. Leading to Ash very frustratingly asking, "Why is this even an issue mom? We are two consenting adults and how do you know what to ask?"
"You don't know?" Delia asked with confusion in her voice.
"Know what?" Ash asked back, annoyed tone creeping in.
"There is an article that claims it can prove you and Misty are, if not a couple, well let's say less crass, friends with benefits." Delia said, "It claims the audio clip at the end of the article is the two of you from last night." Ash's eyes widened looking over at Misty who seemed lost in her own conversation with Daisy.
"If you did sleep with him last night, we need to be more aggressive in finding out who was spying on you and Ash." Daisy said.
Misty's face got bright beet red as she soaked in Daisy's words, "Please tell me there are not any photos or videos." Misty pleaded.
"Thankfully it's just audio but it's so short and neither voices on the recording say a name thankfully." Daisy said, "But since, it seems you definitely did sleep with him, we must prioritize getting to the bottom of who recorded you and Ash."
"Ok, oh gosh…" Misty started, "Thanks for the heads up Daisy, put out whatever statement you need to, I need to call Skye and hope she has not gone down to breakfast yet."
Ash finished telling his mom he loved her and was hanging up as well. Deciding he needed to hear the audio to try and see if it was them, he found the article with ease and just as Misty was about to call Skye. The audio played and Ash turned beet red when he could make out that the voice was at least for him clearly Misty. Misty hearing it for the first time was able to recognize Ash's pants. Thankfully the audio clip was barely 15 seconds and like Daisy had said neither voice that was recorded, said a name of the person they were with.
"Misty, I…" Ash started.
"Don't you dare apologize right now Ash Ketchum." Misty said though she still looked a bit embarrassed, "I do not regret being with you, just that well someone recorded us. Now though we need to talk to Skye."
Pressing Skye contact number, Misty put it on speaker, it barely ringed once when it was picked up, "Mom, please tell me you and Ash are in separate rooms and this–"
"Skye," Ash interrupted.
They both heard what sounded like a gag from Skye, "So the audio is you two?"
Misty looked at Ash and together they said, "Yes."
"So you two didn't think hey, make sure you were somewhere private?" Skye asked, trying not to gag again.
Ash, feeling more than a bit embarrassed, froze while Misty said, "Skye, we were in our room, we have no idea how anyone recorded anything." Turning off her scolding voice she continued, "We also are going to be committed to the other, but this sort of story will never happen again. Please tell us you haven't left your room?"
"No, thankfully Charlie got up early for once." Skye said, "But how am I going to see the other round in my group stage?"
"Leave it to me Skye." Ash responded, Misty looked at him a bit confused. but then she saw Ash pulling out what looked like an old janitor outfit. "I'll be right over Skye. Don't worry, no one will know it's me."
Misty was going to stop him but he was already out the door. "Mom, do you know what he means?" Skye asked.
"Honestly, I don't have a clue." Misty said, her hand covering her face hoping it didn't blow up in Skye's face. Whatever Ash was planning. "I am sorry, for embarrassing you Skye, but I won't be sorry about what I did with your father."
Skye grimaced slightly at the comment but responded, "Thanks mom, I'll make sure Ash brings you food on his way back to you."
Just as Skye hung up with Misty, Ash as a janitor came through her door with Charlie and August. "Ash, you look ridiculous." Skye said.
"Well, you can thank me for bringing you a disguise this way, you can go around the village freely." Ash said, pulling out an old disguise involving a beanie and a hoodie. "Skye, I am sorry we embarrassed you, and my only advice right now is to ignore the chatter about your mom and me for now."
"Aren't you a bit scared someone recorded that while you were somewhere that should've been private?" Skye asked, looking Ash in the eye as she finished pulling on the hoodie.
"Yes, which is the next thing I will take care of, I promise." Ash kissed the top of Skye's head before exiting fist bumping Charlie and August.
Skye proceeded on about her day, and thankfully didn't have to use her name very frequently. Sitting in the stadium she was able to relax watching the rounds go on. Ash made sure to bring Misty breakfast before he went about trying to figure out how someone recorded him and Misty. Deducing there was no exterior evidence showing someone used the window he knew it had to come from the door or hallway. Seeing his moment when the manager stepped away, he sleuthed to the hotel security. Ash found the camera in their hallway, moving it back to the time he guessed he and Misty were coming back to the room. They went inside clearly, nothing there then came Brendan to the door of his room, and he was clearly listening with his ear to the door. Ash then recorded the clip showing him pulling out his phone to record the audio of him and Misty. With the security footage in hand, Ash grabbed some lunch for Misty.
Back in the room Misty was on and off the phone. Lance called, trying to verify if it was Misty and Ash in the article. Lance offered to investigate who was spending this time spying on her, Misty declined saying Ash seemed to have a plan. Lance merely chuckled saying, "Well hats off to him for having a plan."
Brock facetimed as he didn't want Misty to be able to lie. When his face appeared on Misty's phone he was giving his classic older brother stare down. "Brock, yes it's us." Misty said hoping to stop his stare. Brock merely began to chuckle infuriating Misty, "If you called just to laugh at us–"
"Misty," Brock said, still chuckling slightly, "I am sorry this happened to you two, but could you both have at least made it to a room?"
"We did." Misty retorted.
At that Brock's face turned sympathetic. "Oh, well that's a bit concerning. Think it's Team Rocket trailing you?"
"I don't know, but I have thought that, hopefully Ash finds something we can work from." Misty said. The door to their room opened revealing a still janitor looking Ash. "Gotta go Brock, Ash is back with food."
"Just let me know if you two need anything." Brock said before ending the facetime call.
"I wasn't sure what you would prefer so I brought a lot of different things." Ash said before Misty kissed him leaving him breathless. Misty took the food and began to eat before asking, "How is Skye?"
"She is alright. I gave her a disguise that should allow her to roam about unrecognized." Ash said sitting down he took on a bit of a somber look.
"What's wrong Ash?" Misty asked looking up.
"I found out who recorded us." Ash said, "I may kill him and I hope you won't stop me."
"Huh?" Misty responded, "Why would you need to…" Ash began showing her the video showing Brendan leaning against the door. Slowly he pulled out his phone recording the audio he could barely hear. Misty wordlessly took Ash's phone. She instantly started downloading the recording to her cloud, picking up her own phone she sent it to Daisy. Misty called Daisy who picked up on the first ring, "Daisy, we found who was recording us, I sent you the recording of him. And I would appreciate you all handling it while Ash and I focus on our daughter competing."
"No problem Misty, leave it to us, that publication will have a real hard time after we Waterflowers are through with them." Daisy said. "Just no exhibition going forward please."
Looking back at Ash who seemed oblivious to the conversation, Misty said back, "Won't happen again." Hanging up Misty strode over towards Ash to start kissing him again.
"Ash, I need you to trust me, that Brendan will be taken care of." Misty said as she kneeled before Ash and started to pull down his pants.
"Ok…but–" before Ash could finish his response. Misty started bobbing her lips up and down his already semi hard cock. Misty stroked it up and down as she engulfed it.

While using what they saw of their opponents they would be facing, they kept their heads to strategizing for their matches. Charlie noticed Skye looking a bit distracted and asked, "Everything ok Skye?"
"Yeah, just hoping nothing happens to my parents' relationship due to this." Skye said.
August said, "For now I think they will be fine, I am more concerned someone is spying here."
Skye just looked at August, "Thanks, now I am not concerned." Getting up with her food, Skye decided she would see her parents. Coming to the room she knocked on it, and was met by her mom opening the door. "Skye is everything ok?" Misty asked.
"Yeah, can I come in?" Skye asked back.
"Of course honey." Misty said allowing her daughter to enter. Skye was relieved for she felt some trepidation as she knocked on the door. Ash was merely sitting in the center of the room; it looked like he was meditating. "Did he always do that?" Skye asked Misty.
"No, but he says it helps him deal with the nightmares." Misty said.
"It helps when people aren't talking about me like I am not there." Ash piped up, opening his eyes during his meditation. Ash smiled to show he was mostly joking. Standing up from the carpeted floor, hugging Skye who went and hugged him he said, "I want you to not worry about your mom and me. We will take care of who recorded us. Just focus on the tournament and having fun with your Pokemon."
Misty looked at him a bit expectantly, when he looked back at her like he was saying, you should tell her. "Skye, Ash and I are at this moment in an official relationship. Hopefully when this tournament is over, he can move in with us in Cerulean." Skye looked between her parents to see if it was a joke, seeing their smiles she knew at least for right now, her family was completely together. Since her birthday they had a group hug then a thought came to her head as she embraced them. "Can you two try and not make me a big sister yet?"
Both Ash and Misty got a bit red in the face, before Misty said, "Skye, if we decide to have more or we are blessed with them we will tell you an appropriate time, but until then we ask you not meddle into our private life with each other."
"Sorry mom." Skye said, though Misty began to remember their previous night's activities. Her face didn't change but she would be sure to watch it in the future with Ash. Ash meanwhile just looked rather embarrassed. "Ash, what exactly are your intentions with my mother?"
"Blah?" Ash started a little surprised by her question.
Skye just smirked, lightly pushing her fist on his shoulder, "Just joshing you Ash, kinda what I felt I had to ask of the guys trying to impress mom."
"Well, my intentions are to prove to her I am capable as your father, and that someday, assuming she still finds me amiable," Ash said, winking at Misty, "I would ask for her hand."
Misty snorted slightly but was blushing rather hard at how romantic he made that sound. Skye laughed as well before saying, "Wow Ash, I didn't realize you could be so corny."
Ash laughed too, "Well I felt if you were joshing me I should play it up just a bit but," Looking back at Misty he said, "I meant every word."
Ash made a run for food, and they all had a late dinner in the room, "So how are you both going to watch tomorrow?" Skye asked.
"We, I think we are going to be fine, we just felt coming out today would keep the pressure up on us." Misty said, "Your aunts, thanks to your father, have been working on it."
"How did…?" Skye started to ask.
"It's not important what I found for you Skye, whats important is that like I said you stay focused on your tournament." Smiling Ash then said, "Let your mom and I worry about the recording."
"We will be out there in the stands supporting you." Misty said. With them eating their dinner happily, Skye left after eating, opening the door to find Pikachu at the door. Jumping up and nuzzling Skye's cheek, Pikachu then hopped down and went to Ash and Misty. Skye returned to her dorm, finding both August and Charlie asleep. Going into the stadium was a bit of an event, as many were clamoring to see if Ash and Misty were holding hands. Ash and Misty decided to hold hands in hopes of it just decreasing the interest. They also released a public statement with the help of the Waterflower sisters. It read:
We as in Ash Ketchum and Misty Waterflower will neither confirm or deny the audio is in fact us. We will state that we are just two co-parents who due to unforeseen circumstances were unable to raise their daughter together for many years. Now that we are back in each other's lives we hope we can continue to co-parent effectively. We are at this moment are in a relationship, and in hopes of being able to know whether or not we can still be a couple. We hope everyone in the future will respect our privacy and our daughter's privacy as well as she is busy competing to be a Pokemon Master. What most disturbs us is that someone whom the publication was more than happy to work with, was in fact invasively spying on us. We do know who did it and have not yet figured out if and which legal actions we will take against said individual as of yet, but we are open to all options available to us.
Daisy reported back to them that the publication did not give up Brendan but they were deeply disturbed when they saw the clip of him clearly leaning at the door and getting the clip. They wanted to be clear they did not ask him to do it, nor that they have employed him. What the publication offered was in fact, an edit stating, "Due to new information on how this clip was obtained, we have removed the audio itself and will keep it off this article. We do not condone how this was obtained and will not keep it up, in hopes of maintaining our journalistic integrity."
Some people took photos of their hands intertwined but they mostly respectfully ignored them. Skye sat between them, back in her usual clothes while sporting Ash's first hat. Watching Charlie battle got intense especially when he took a 2 Pokemon lead and his opponents' Quilava was messing up his Pupitar. Just as it seemed Pupitar would fall it ended up evolving into it's final form Tyranitar. Having it use earthquake followed up with a hyper beam, the match was over Charlie had secured his spot in the round of 16.
Skye quickly congratulated Charlie before heading down for her own round. Skye's was a pretty up and down affair. She prevailed in the end with Milotic advancing to the round of 16. Ash and Misty were jumping up and down holding the other, while Charlie and August were celebrating together. Knowing there would be a break, between the group stage and the round of 16, Ash just nodded at Misty and went to make a call. Misty explained how thes rounds would be incredibly intense. Unlike Indigo where you only had those kind of battles when you got into the top 8.
After Ash rejoined them for celebratory food, they rushed over to the Pokemon Center to see who they would be facing. "I wonder who you both will be facing." August mused.
"Whomever I am facing good luck to them facing my Tyranitar." Charlie boasted.
Skye just smirked, "Between my Lycanroc, Scizor, and Milotic I know I can beat anyone."
Ash and Misty just looked at the other, recognizing some of themselves in Charlie and Skye. "It's a good thing August is nothing like Brock." Misty mused.
"Cept for him being the arbiter between those two." Ash joked. When they found the board showing who would be facing who. They all kept looking till all their eyes found both Charlie and Skye's pictures. August, Ash, and Misty just stared at the board not saying anything. The board showed Charlie and Skye would be facing each other in the round of 16. Both Charlie and Skye looked at each other, mouths dropped, not sure what to do now that they would face each other.
