- Baby Janet -
Daniel Jackson sat on the bed, to get the usual after trip through the gate medical check-up. The doctor was about to proceed when his team rushed into the Atlantis's infirmary with a stretcher. A bleeding man was on it.
"I'm sorry, Doctor Jackson, have to go."
Daniel tilted his head, understanding.
"Airman Wells, could you perform the check-up, please?" the doctor asked to a woman in her twenties.
She nodded and came to Daniel while her boss was handling the emergency with other nurses.
"Have we met before?" Daniel asked, a bit ashamed he couldn't recognize the lady.
"I started two days ago, sir. You were in D.C.," she explained while putting on exam gloves.
"Oh, welcome!" Daniel grinned. "Airman Wells... I knew a Wells at the SGC, but that was many years ago."
"My father, indeed. You and Doctor Fraiser saved him on P3X-666."
The airman checked Daniel's eyes with a light. She seemed to be expecting a reaction as she glanced at him a few times. All of a sudden, Daniel looked at her from head to toe, thunderstruck.
"Wells... Janet Wells?"
The lady smiled and nodded.
"How's that possible?! Last time I saw you, you were just a newborn!"
Daniel couldn't believe that Simon Well's daughter was standing right in front of him.
"Feeling old, sir?" she chuckled, pleased that Daniel recognized her.
"Extremely," Daniel sighed, still in shock, but moved.
Janet Wells outguessed his questions, "I joined the Air Force after high school and became a nurse. I guess my dad telling me about Janet Fraiser when I was a kid played a great part in this life choice."
"And now you're in the Stargate Program, like your father."
"And you're the head of Atlantis."
Daniel smiled, moved to see what baby Janet had become.
"Oh, my dad says hello," she added, recalling this mission. Then, she checked Daniel's tension, and he asked after Simon Wells.
