Timeless Hero Chapter 1

Naoto's POV

All my teammates awaited my answer and anxiety began to surface inside once again. I needed to change things to save my wives and children but if I acted out of line, I could potentially give away that I would betray them. I did kill Kami and her daughters but I still hadn't erased The Sage of Six Path's souls. This meant that he could in theory had done this but how? Could he have made new allies? This was more likely has he never showed himself to fight or hinder me and sent people so the latter options seemed more likely in this case. The mysterious youth also send me back this far meaning there was something I should stop here to progress towards my goals. This would mean that staying here would potentially allow me to figure out who his allies are. I then nodded and signed my form as we made our way there. We gave our form to the secretary only to be talked to by this green-spandex-wearing bowl-cut weirdo. This was Rock Lee and I knew where this was going as I took my brother Naruto by the shoulders as I would slowly try to erase Asura's Influence and hold of him to weaken The Sage of Six Paths.

''Oi! Where are you taking bro?'' he asked me before I steeled myself. The seal Olga had given me could eat Chakra so all I had to do was eat Asura away and make Naruto himself? I slowly did so as he fell asleep almost as if he was into a trance. I could feel Asura dying anger at my attempts at preventing peace through understanding and love. LIke that FUCKING PARASITE had any right to judge since he was no better than his father in my book. With Asura now permanently gone I could feel the Real Naruto surface. I also noticed Mom's Chakra in there along with that fucking Fourth Hokage. I slowly awakened Mom's Chakra with her memories from where I was king so she could brief Naruto in his mindscapes once I did. After that, we could see Sasuke beaten and bruised by Lee as Sakura followed him. It seemed he expected Naruto to jump in before him but apparently he was taken down a few pegs. He seemed to glare at me for doing that. I mentally sighed. Geez Sasuke, you can't always expect Naruto to always jump in before you do so you can have data before fighting.

''Naoto you left us to...''He tried to say but I interrupted him.

''No Sasuke, I didn't He issue you a challenge. You're just pissed that Naruto and I didn't fight him first to give you data about him. How do you expect to kill your ''Specific'' Someone if you need others to do half the work for you? Besides, Naruto and I wouldn't have fared any better since that dude had damaged hands. His hands should have healed but they weren't under those bandages meaning he trained harder than any of us. We wouldn't have done or helped you any better.'' I said as he humped away as Sakura nodded meekly to me. It seemed she understood why we didn't. It is not because we didn't want to but because we were just that outclassed we were so there was no point in fighting a losing battle.

As we entered the hallway we saw Lee's team trying to get in as his teammates Ten-Ten, and Neji was trying to fight the guards to allow them in but Sasuke decided to chime in as Sakura was meekly looking at the sign. I immediately punched him behind the back of his head. Sasuke just got up and snarled angrily before yelling at me.

''NAOTO! WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU!?'' He screamed or tried to as I punched him again to make him shut up before explaining by whispering to him why I did so. I would allow him to make things harder for us when it isn't necessary.

''Would you just shut the fuck up! We KNOW there is a Genjutsu on that door! It's meant to week out the weaklings! How do you expect to kill ''Him'' if you can't even think like a basic Chuunin mook!?'' I explained to him as he kept struggling and I decided to blackmail him by saying something bone-chilling to him.

''You KEEP THIS UP and I FORFEIT for these exams and I am sure YOU KNOW what that MEANS!'' I said to him while ready to break one of his arms to prove my points. I could see the hate building up in his eyes. It was almost as it said. Do it pussy, I fucking dare you! I would have gladly done so but a voice interrupted us as all of the remaining Konoha 13 were there. Shikamaru, Ino, Choji, Lee, Ten-Ten, Neji, Shino, Kiba, and Hinata were all there but there was another that I recognized. Kabuto would of course come out soon and voice his thoughts. Well Jokes on you asshole since I'll get you kicked out of here and possibly killed. Kabuto then decided to speak up.

''Keep it down, you rookies. You don't want unwanted attention now, do you?'' He asked as Choji question him next.

''Who are you?'' Choji asked as Kabuto introduced himself.

''I am Kabuto Yakushi and I am taking these exams once again.'' He said as Kiba snarked at him.

''Yeah, you just sucked then,'' Kiba said only to be trolled openly by Kabuto.

''I suppose so since it is actually my seventh time taking this exam. It does give ample time to collect information on its contestants. Would you like to hear some?'' kabuto asked as Sasuke stepped forward.

''I want information on these three. Rock Lee, Gaara no Subaku, and Naoto Uzumaki.'' Sasuke said as Kabuto began to look at his cards Sasuke smirked at me evilly. So this was your payback huh? Well, two can play that Sasuke I thought. As Kabuto was about to channel some Chakra in his cards I slowly used some Lightning Chakra and fried his entire deck into dust. There you go assholes and no info shared as that happened but when I smirked I noticed four people caught me doing so. Shikamaru had noticed me doing so of course and gave a calculating frown. Sasuke was now glaring at me since I ruined his chance and was now suspicious of me. The third was, of course, Kabuto and he didn't like it but he recovered fast so you'll miss it if you blink. The fourth and last one was Ino? She apparently noticed what I did and became suspicious. Great just great. Like I needed the gossip queen to notice what I did but they couldn't call me out on this as the Proctor arrived and called us in for the first exam. Once we were all inside he introduced himself.

''Hello, Maggots and welcome to the first phase of the Chuunin Exams. I am Ibiki Morino and I will be the examiner for this phase. Now you WILL take a written exam and I'll tell you right now. You will fucking fail since those questions cannot be answered by ANY Genins! Do you think this is cheating? Well, tough luck bitches this is my exam so my rule! Deal with it. Now you have thirty minutes to do so. BEGIN!'' He said after he explained and I decided to answer by memory. I already knew them since I did them in the past so I'll just use them and if he thinks I'm lying he won't be able to prove it at all. I have more important stuff to do so bite me if I'm not gathering tell bitch. we started with fifty-three teams in here and by the time the Chrono was up the number of teams was down to ten. Considering that each team has three genin it means that only sixteen Genins made it out of the one hundred and sixty ourselves included. He literally cut our starting challengers by ten times their original size. He then said the very anticipated words.

''You Pass,'' Ibiki said. The surprise was evident on everyone's face except mine since I lived this once but that four pigtails blonde girl asked him a question. That's right it's Gaara's older sister Temari.

''Huh, but I thought that the tenth question was?'' Only to be cut off by Ibiki as he explained the reason for it.

''The REAL tenth question wasn't on that paper of yours. It was choosing to stay or run away. As a Chuunin, YOU WILL lead teams into mission or battle and as their squad leader, their lives will be YOUR RESPONSIBILITY. Sometimes the mission you're given cannot be canceled or given to someone. What happens then? You take and not completing it can harm your village in a crucial spot. Becoming Chuunin isn't just becoming a higher Ninja. It's taking the first step of big Ninja as their lives are in your hands. Those who ran under the pressure or quit this test failed. You all passed because you stayed. Now as for your next phase...''He explained only for him to be interrupted by a massive sound of breaking windows.

''BREAK!''

After the broken window came this trenchcoat-wearing woman with spiky purple hair tied in a ponytail. This was the second Protoc of the Chuunin exams. She gestured for us to follow her to training fifty-five as everyone did so. As we arrived we were given a scroll to each team before she explained the rules for this phase.

''Alright listen up. Welcome to training ground fifty-five A.K.A the Forest of death. Each team was given a scroll with either Heaven or Earth on it. Your mission is to find your missing scroll and bring it to the tower in three days. Where is the tower? You know it when you hear it ring its bell dipshits! Now please sign the forms ALL of YOU. They just make us not responsible if your killed or die or starvation in there. ready? HAVE FUN AND KEEL OVER!'' She said sadistically as the gates opened for us four to go in for the second phase of the exams.
