Chapter 28: The Hunt-Part Two
"I am an A honors student. I did not spend half of my summers every year to be doing mandatory hard labor," Cindy complained while digging her hand in the soapy bucket of warm water.
"Well, I rather do this than be in our cell," Miko argued, also scrubbing the dirty floors.
It has been a total of two days since the six were locked up in Sector 7, and they hadn't seen daylight during the time. And during those times they were being integrated by Agent Simmons in either in a duo pair or solo, minus for Evac who just stuck inside his prison box doing some tests for the agents. And now, Agent Simmons was nice enough to let them do some labor work by force. He made Raf and Jack do some mopping around the building while making June help around the medical room due to a shortage of nurses. And finally made Miko and Cindy be floor scrubbers. However, this gave the girls some time to talk face to face and talk girly such as talking about fashion or personal things.
"Alright, ladies times up. Time to get back into your shared cell," a black agent wearing shades said.
Cindy raised her eyebrow. "Me and Miko are sharing a cell together? For what?" She asked.
"To prevent you kids from going insane. Oh, and you also will share the same cell with June as well," another agent added.
Miko put her hands on her hips. "And why is Ms. June staying with us?" She asked.
"Easy, she wanted to spend time with her future daughter-in-law," the black agent said.
This put a smile on the young Asian girl's face and Cindy nodded, seeing that perhaps some of these agents weren't as cruel as Simmons, something she was grateful for, but she was seriously wanting to kick that man in the face.
Once getting inside their new cell, Miko was quickly got pulled in a loving hug and kisses on both of her cheeks from June and couldn't help but to do the same with her mother in law. All three talked a bit until their meals came. After a bit, June went to sleep with her mouth all wide with a small trail of saliva running down her chin. Both girls watched the woman talk in her sleep dreaming about Agent Fowler and making love noises, which made them quietly giggle.
But this also gave Miko and Cindy time to continue their chat about personal stuff. But the Asian girl did not expect to discuss the next topic.
"Hey, Miko, I have been meaning to ask you this. Do female bots have the same body types as us?" Cindy asked very interestedly.
Miko gave her best friend a weird look. "You mean like we do? Yes. Do you notice their front plates on their chest?. Well, that's both their clothing and armor. As for their feet, those are their shoes. Mom gave me a small talk about their people's biology. Heck, she even made smell her stinking feet just for a laugh and for me to say 'eww'."
Cindy laughed quietly as that would a typical mom would do. "Your mom is funny, Miko. So both the guys and your mom and aunt aren't so different as us humans. Cool! Say, have you and Jack been fooling around during your engagement?"
The last part made Miko choke on her water when hearing that question as it is unexpected. Cindy helped Miko from choking anymore of her water and handed her a napkin to wipe her face.
"Oh, girl, I am sorry! I just thought that you two were getting cozy since seeing you two been holding each other and kissing so often. I take that as a no, yes?" Cindy asked, a little embarrassed.
"Me and Jack are only kissing, hugging, and sometimes we sleep together, but not in that way. Our moms told us no lovemaking before our wedding or else," Miko said to her. "Which makes sense. We're kind of too young to have kids yet anyway."
"That's cool," Cindy said, taking a bite of her Oreo pie. "Did you guys have plans on where your wedding will take place?"
Miko relaxed a bit. "On my mom's homeworld. Space weddings so beautiful and awesome than your regular weddings. Just wish mom can figure out how I can live on Cybertron without dying due to no oxygen on their planet," she said softly.
Meanwhile, while the two girls were talking, both Raf and Jack were sharing the cell as well and had the same conversation about Jack doing stuff with Miko behind Arcee and June's back. The older boy told the younger boy that it wasn't true and then got on his case about him messing around with Cindy.
"No! Me and Cindy haven't done anything, Jack. My mom has been keeping a strong eye on us especially on Cindy," Raf explained, feeling embarrassed.
"Now, are you talking about your biological mom or Windblade?" Jack asked while playing chess by himself.
"Duh, my space mom. You know, I have been noticing some things with my mom and Aunt Arcee," the younger boy mentioned seriously.
This caught Jack's attention when hearing this. He knew what Raf meant when noticing how Windblade had been giving Cindy a pointed look when she was holding Raf or snuggling with him and had to either pull herself away or gently push him off of her. Arcee herself made Jack do the same thing with Miko to her huge confusion and slight hurt feelings.
"You see, I believe my mom Windblade and Aunt Arcee are scared. Scared that you and Cindy are trying to take myself and my cousin away from them. Now, let's not forget that those two have been through a whole lot in the war and lost good people along the way. Miko and I are the things that they wanted to have all their lives. And that is being a mom and a wife. Now, they got the marriage part down pat with my aunt being a widow and my mom married to Bulkhead, who happens to be my new dad...,"
Raf stopped talking when Jack raised his hand.
"I get it, Raf. And I'm not going to take Miko away from Arcee. Me and Miko have already discussed what our plan was when we get married in which I will tell my mother-in-law about as soon as she and the others come to get us. Man, they are taking their sweet time here," he pointed out.
"Tell me about it. Wonder how Evac is doing?" Raf asked, joining the older boy in the game of chess.
Evac was both bored and irritated with the endless tests that the agents were giving him. He couldn't decide which test that he hated the most. Either the stamina test or how fast he could go while transformed into his car mode. He went through a lot of Q&A tests that a few of them asked him without raising cain. He was currently dealing with a female Hispanic agent who was both new and a rookie who had never seen live-action. If Evac was being honest, she was kinda cute for a human female and he felt strange around her. Unlike the other agents, the woman, whose name is Magen, always smiled at him and gave hints of romantic interest towards him. Such as purposely dropping her pen and bending over to reach it or puckering her lips for no reason. Now, it would be a different story if she was bot like him but that was not happening.
"So, since we have finished our daily testing, I have a personal question to ask of you," Magen said with a smile.
Evac felt himself blushing when seeing Magen approach his box with a loving look on her face, "Which is?" He asked curiously, reading her body signs that she seemed to have a major crush on him.
"Are you seeing another woman of your kind lately?" She asked, looking down at her high heels to hide her blush.
I cannot believe that a female human has romantic feelings for me. And I'm an alien on top of that, Evac thought to himself before noticing Magen waiting patiently for his answer.
"Uh, no. No, I'm not seeing any girl. Why do you ask, Magen?" He asked.
Magen beamed happily at the answer. "I ask because for an alien robot, you look very cute. And since you are single, then it is safe to say that I will be your new girlfriend. Between you and me, I want to kiss you right here and now." She sighed sadly. "But unfortunately I can not do so for two reasons. My job and you being locked up."
"Or you can just get me and my friends out of here. Then we can kiss and date in this strange relationship," he said coaxingly with a wink.
Magen grinned at the idea of doing so, but it quickly became a sad smile, "I wish I could do it, Evac. Really, but I can't. This is the only job that was accepted to. I mean, every time I apply for a job, I either get no phone calls or get denied by being ignored. I truly love you, Evac. I do, but I need the money. Sorry, but I have to defend myself since I grew up as an orphan and never had a family until this very day."
"Huh, that was how Miko was until she was adopted by Arcee. Tell me more about your sad story. I'm all ears for you, Magen," Evac said honestly. He was hoping that by maybe getting her to open up to him, perhaps he could convince her to join them and get them out of Sector 7.
This made Magen smile and she began telling him everything about her miserable life while not noticing that her boss was listening in.
Agent Simmons watched the screen and did not know about the newbie's scarred life. Especially having similar pain to Miko's.
"I swear we just let anyone be caretakers to orphans. This is one sick world I'm living in," he said before looking back at the two girls talking about some other things and he sighed, rubbing his eyes, not knowing that soon, he was going to have to content with some visitors.
And two of them would be very angry moms.
You've all heard the term 'Never get between a mama bear and her cubs'? Well, Simmons is going to wish he followed that advice.
Now before someone mentions that this took a long time to update, John2851 and myself do not write 24/7. We do have lives with jobs outside of writing, so please, practice patience with us. Thank you.
Also, be sure to check out John2851's other stories and send him a PM if you'd like. He'd love to hear from you all. :)
Please leave a review for John2851 and myself, but no flames.
