A/N: John2851 and myself got a question about the story and the answer is: This story takes place in the Primeverse, but we are mixing elements from the movies and other television series, so you guys may see some bots or things you recognize. In the Primeverse, I believe Ironhide is a Wrecker, but I may be wrong.
We're just trying to make the story fun for everyone. And now, we all get to see what happened after Miko swallowed the key.
Chapter 31: The Hunt-Part 5
Jack paced back and forth, trying his best to wait patiently on Raf to finish up with downloading the secret files onto the flash drive. Yeah, Jack wanted to share the information with Fowler and the Autobots on what Simmons had shown them during the time of their forced stay. But he was worried about the girls and Evac. Especially for his mom and his wife-to-be, Miko. Before reaching the secret black door room, the two had heard multiple shots and explosions that were wild and worrying but it did not shake them to do what they have planned to do since they were used to do dangerous and daring things. Even though the only person amongst them that would do some careless and stupid thing would be Miko.
"Miko." Jack looked worried about his lover. "We need to hurry this up, Raf."
Raf still had his eyes glued to the screen, "You can not rush computer work, Jack. I'm worried about my cousin, your mom, my girlfriend, and Evac. But remember, they will be okay if they stay together. Well, except for Evac. Oh, man, I don't want to think about what they did to him."
"Yeah, no kidding. I can not imagine what they did to him or wanting to do to him," the older boy said while wishing that he had his phone to play some of Marvel app games. Hating the fact that Simmons took their phones on the moment they arrived at S7.
"Well, for starters it is not worth knowing. Trust me, you don't. Believe me."
Both Jack and Raf stopped moving real quick. The feeling of cold shock hitting them strongly after hearing the unwanted familiar voice. Jack turned around and hated to see what his eyes were showing him. Raf turned around on the computer chair and hated to see the man as well. There standing in front of them and blocking the entrance of the room stood Simmons and a female agent holding a black long blast cannon. Simmons could easily see what the two were up to and did not like what he is seeing. Already have the idea of what Jack and Raf were up to and planning on doing, Simmons had a plain facial expression on his face and did not want to get aggressive or chastise them. But after seeing this, he couldn't help but take that route.
"So this is the way you guys thank me? After giving you kids a little bit of freedom and a little bit of privilege? Ya sneak behind my back and steal top-secret information that I was willing to share with you guys. Especially when that top-secret is THE top-secret," said Simmons with his face turned from calm to frown.
Raf pulled the flash drive out and got out of the chair. Jack stood beside his best friend who called him a big brother with no fear on his face. In truth, Jack hated himself to allow Simmons to take them captive and make them do labor against their own will. Let alone make his baby file his and the other agent's taxes and hoped that she messed up on those tax forms. But unfortunately, Miko was too good in her math, all thanks to Raf's tutoring, she couldn't make an error on her numbers. He shook his head when remembering his lover offering her service on doing his tax paper from his burger job, and focused on the task at hand.
"Look, Simmons, Me and Raf are leaving this place with that flash drive. The Autobots have the right to know about this. You can not stop us," he said, ready to fight his way through the man.
"Not going to happen, Jack." Simmons eyed the boy. "Those so-called earth protectors are not to be trusted. They are a threat to us. To our country. To our world. Heck, and definitely the whole universe. The Pentagon and U.S. President have no idea what we allied ourselves with. They can not be trusted no matter what they say or act any kind of heroism."
However, Simmons did not expect to hear anyone speak their opinion about what he just said not too long ago. And he especially did not expect to hear it from his own agent. Especially this particular female agent fancying their soon-to-be freed Autobot prisoner. Magen, who had the cannon gun in her hand did not agree with what her only boss had said about the Autobots. Magen never believed Simmons' theory about the Autobots as this was so far-fetched and can not help but to admit that she indeed has extreme mad love feelings for Evac. She remembered yesterday that he questioned her about her romantic feelings for him. He asked her if she did really love him then why can she not ignored her job policy and Simmons and let him out of his prison. Not only that, but Evac had also questioned about which path she follows in her single and familyless life. Does she follow her job which that doesn't care whether she eat, sleep, or live or does she follows her spark, and be with a man who loves, care, and provides a roof over her head with interest?
Magen had those questions in her mind and finally found the answer. Her mindset was interrupted by Simmons to her irritation. Simmons ordered her to take and destroy the flash drive from Raf before arresting him and Jack, and take them back to their cell as soon as possible. Feeling her anger reaching her limit, Magen turned and pointed the gun at Simmons, who was both shocked and confused as to what she is thinking. This has made Jack and Raf confused as well since this is the first time they meet her and now she is helping them escape for some strange reason.
"No," Magen stepped back to Jack and Raf's side, holding the gun tightly despite it being heavy. "No, I won't do it, Simmons. You are wrong about the Autobots. And you are wrong about Evac. My Evac."
"Your Evac?." Jack and Raf said, asking at the same time and gasped at the beautiful Hispanic woman.
Magen looked at the young boys and blushed in slight embarrassment. "What can I say, you two? I'm madly in love with an alien robot. A handsome one at that. Now then, can one of you young boys grab my cuffs and cuff Agent Simmons for me? I'll make you boys my delicious homemade five-layer fresh fruit salad deep-deep dish crust cobbler."
With the idea of a homemade deep-deep dish crust pie, Jack and Raf quickly fight to get the cuffs off of Magen's waist which made the woman giggle when the boys were accidentally tickling her weak spot. Jack managed to get the cuffs off of Magen's pants and went to cuffed Simmons, who was cussing on being betrayed by his newbie agent and was hating it real bad. Once having his hands cuffed behind his back, they made Simmons move out of the room and walked through the hallway to go reach for Evac and get him out, and then go look for the others and finally leave.
"Magen, you are fired and are going to spend your whole life in prison for turning your back on the United States government and allying yourself with the extraterrestrial enemies," said Simmons, with a threat.
"As if." Magen rolled her eyes. "If I can survive from being in the orphanage and get my butt beat by the people who took care of me and kicked me out into the cold streets when I turned ten, then I can survive girl prison. I don't mind lifting weights and running the joint."
"Wait. How could someone kick you to the curb at the age of ten? In the orphanage of all places?" Questioned Jack, feeling sorry for the woman.
"You just like my cousin, Miko," Raf said. "She was abused as well by her foster care parents. They were monsters."
"Huh, I prefer to call them an abomination. Plus, my orphanage is located in an extreme slums area. Pretty messed up and I always told myself that if I ever have a son or daughter in my life, I'm going to love, care, spoil them rotten until they are grown have blood kids of their own. That is the least I can do since my childhood and basically, my life is forever ruined since I never had a family. Neither have a mom to teach me how to be a proper woman and teach me how to be pretty, while not having a father to spoil, love, care for, and protect me. No child deserves to be fatherless and motherless in my fact-opinion," Magen said with a sad, crying tone in her voice.
This caused all three boys to feel great pity for the woman. And to think that they thought that Miko had it bad. Once they approached the area where Evac is currently in, Magen gladly gave the gun to Jack who almost fell down with it as it is super heavy and he couldn't believe this woman could last long carrying this heavy equipment. Evac got up with the excitement of finally getting out of his prison box let alone seeing some of the others were alright. He eyed his optic at Magen, who was at the stand-up laptop computer typing the access code to open the box. The woman could not help but smile at finally having a man in her life after she pressed enter and watched the large door of the box turned off its electrified field, but also open its door to allow the bot to get out with pure joy.
"Yes, I'm finally out," Evac said as he flexed his muscles and started stretching his legs, getting the urge to just run and not stop. "Alright, guys let us get out of here and..."
Without getting the chance to finish on what he wanted to say due to Magen, who took her high heels off her feet, jumped onto Evac and started laying kisses on all of him, that was, after she had her red lipstick lips make contact with Evac's lips. This shocked the young bot for many reasons as this was his first kiss and the first girl who was bold enough to make the first move on him. Simmons, Jack, and Raf watched the two as if they were watching a strange romantic movie and can not look away, due to being in awe and gasped in shock. Evac did not bother removing Magen from him as he kissed back with so much love that he did not know that he had for the organic women. Eventually, they broke the kiss so Magen could breathe but still have that look of a silly lovesick girl. As for Evac, who had her in his left hand, he couldn't look away from his new girlfriend and the two had three things to say to one another.
"I love you."
Evac and Magen resumed kissing and ignoring everything around them.
Simmons, Jack, and Raf wanted a distraction to break themselves free from seeing this before any 'Con spot them here and take the advantage. But lucky for them, a loud slicing sound was heard and was close to them. And the only person that heard the noise was Raf who turned his head to the left of the direction of where the noise is and found himself going towards the source while temporarily leaving the others behind. He exited out of the other room and walked to his right while seeing the ceiling lights flickering repeatedly to no end, as Raf heard the same noise getting louder and louder as he got near. Once making it to the huge hallway he gasped to see piles of droid Cons who were sliced either in half or into big chunks of pieces with puddles of energon.
Raf looked over to see Windblade stabbing an Incesticon in the chest before pulling the blade out. But then he saw his Cybertonian mom repeatedly stabbing the dead con in pure rage. Windblade was so angry at the Cons than she had ever before and couldn't resist the temptation of ignoring her training from what Drift has taught her. Guess that was why she was still Drift's student for the last few solar-cycle years. Raf was getting ready to step in and stop his mom from overdoing it and wanted to go home, until he saw Bulkhead running over to her and grabbed her by the arm. Raf stood still when watching the two talk and did not expect to hear the conversation to be too personal.
"We have to find our son, Bulky," Windblade said as she felt her sad emotions getting the best of her and started having tears running down her face. "Oh, Bulky, I don't know what we should say to him! I...I...I feel like a sorry excuse for a warrior and wannabe mother."
Bulkhead held his wife and soothed her down. "Wind, I know it is going to be hard for us to tell Raf that one of those Cons had killed his parents and it is going to be hard for him to adjust to his new life with us. Permanently," he said.
"I know I know." Windblade looked at her spark mate with tears running. "But still, how would Raf take and react to the news that Megatron sent one of his goons to torture and purposely kill his parents to get information on the whereabouts of the Allspark and Miko's key?"
"Simple."
Both Bulkhead and Windblade looked down to a teary-eyed, nose running Raf which made the two official adopted parents hurt to see. Raf could not stop his eyes from watering tears and was too hurt to sniff his running shots back into his nose when approaching close to his permanent new mom and dad. Unable to hold his painful emotion he unleashed without holding anything back.
"I'll be crying my eyes out and want my new mommy and daddy!" He said, crying like a little baby that scrapped his knee on the street pavement.
This caused Bulkhead and Windblade sadness to see their son like this and felt their parental instincts kicking into maximum. Bulkhead gently grabbed his crying son and with the aid of his wife, the two performed a close trio hug while comforting their new sparkling with tears of their own. Windblade soothed her child while having her tears running down like a waterfall with comfort and happiness. The new trio family stayed like this for a good while without noticing Grimlock and Ironhide coming into the same area with Simmons, Jack, Evac, and Magen once after Optimus and Fowler had found June and rushed her back to the base to attend a sick patient. The two bots can tell that Bulkhead and Windblade had told Raf about the tragic fate of his parents, and had to back out and give them more of their alone time.
"Everything is going to be alright, sweet spark. Mommy and Daddy will make the pain go away. We will make your life good and joyful. If Arcee can do it with Miko, then so can me and your new dad," Windblade said, putting her beautiful rosy red lipstick lips on Raf's forehead to kiss with such motherly love and passion.
"And Raf?" Bulkhead got the boy's attention. "I know that I have not taken more interest in being your Dad and not calling you my son is because I did not want for you to feel uncomfortable. But now, I'm going to call you my son since...well you overheard what I and your mom said not too long ago."
Raf managed to pull himself together after wiping his face clean with his dirty shirt and smiled brightly. Unlike his favorite cousin Miko, Raf did not let the tragic life drama be his master and limit him from being happy. Even though he is not the biggest or tallest amongst his cousin and best friend but when it all comes down to intellect, Raf was the expert and amazing at the field of dealing with life. Raf returned love to his new Cybertronian parents by hugging them back and give his new mom a quick kiss on the lips to show the symbol of trust and beloved friendship. After doing one more trio hug the three enjoyed the others inside the Autobot base safe and sound after Wheeljack had blown Sector 7 into rubble, since he had a grudge against Simmons for taking the rookie Autobot, June, and the kids.
As soon as they arrived at the beloved base, both Jack and Raf and including Simmons looked to see an unconscious Miko on a hospital bed, and hooked up to a halter monitor. Both Jack and Raf ran up to Miko who looked like she was in a deep extreme coma in fear and anxiety. Jack put his hand on Miko's left hand and lifted it up to rub it against his cheek. Raf was on the other side of the bed holding on to Miko's other hand. Arcee sat down beside her knocked-out daughter with anxiety eating her like mad. She relaxed when June was doing her part in stabilizing her daughter and hoped her earth skills can help fix the purpose mistake by eating her own alien key. Brains was at Miko's side, placing wires to her forehead to monitor her brainwave pattern and looked very concerned about this
"Ratchet what is your status report on Miko?" Ultra Magnus asked, worrying about the little teen.
Ratchet looked over his computers before looking at everyone who was waiting patiently for the results. He eyed back to the screen for a few seconds to read the data before looking back at Miko and then back at his computers. Silas was getting impatient with the whole drama moment.
"Will you please tell us what is going on with Miko?! Come on Ratchet!" Silas demanded before getting frowned by Grimlock.
"Hey, you, I don't know who you are really. But one thing for sure is you need to shut up and let Ratchet have the time to explain before I'll rip your head clean off!" Grimlock warned before hearing Bumblebee to tell him to calm down and growled in response.
"Well, believe it or not, everyone." Ratchet slowly walked up and looked down at an unconscious Miko who looked stiff as a solid rock. "The Spark Key that Miko has purposely eaten had somehow digested itself and mutated her body. You see, I detected her organs being mixed tech and mixed organic blood vessels, organs, and bones. Thus, in conclusion...our Miko has become one of us as a Cybertronian. Well, half. What are her brainwaves, Brains?"
Brains got everyone's attention who were extremely shocked to hear the news, especially for Arcee. "Her brainwaves are indicating that she herself and her body is in self cryostasis as her organic brain is cyberforming into cybernetic. She is becoming part human and Cybertronian. We need a blood sample to go deeper into her condition. June?"
"Right," June nodded when grabbing a small clear bottle, a clear cord, and a needle and started working on getting a blood sample from her dear beloved future daughter-in-law. "What the...?"
Upon getting Miko's blood, June is seeing a mix of regular blood and Cybertonian blood and was shocked to see this and has no idea what motivated Miko to eat her key. Because as of now, Miko was considered an ALF. Which was Alien Life Form.
"It's natural, June," Brains said, but he looked worried.
"Is she going to be okay?" Evac asked.
"I'm afraid only time will tell," Ratchet said. "For now, just hold hope for her and be there for her when she does wake up."
"We will," Jack said, holding his love's hand tightly.
"We all will," Arcee said firmly as they all waited for the girl to wake up.
