It had been four nights since Chase, Skye, Zuma, and Liberty been captured by Galvin and Waldo. They were starved and lacked exercise. The foursome were dozing off to slumberland when Zuma heard a rustle, somewhere nearby. He sat up and scanned the area, but saw nothing. As soon as he laid back down, he heard the sound again! He inspected the area again, but this time he noticed a raccoon found its way into the garage. Zuma nudged Chase.

"Chase, dude; look!" he whispered.

"What?" Chase inquired, drowsily.

"A raccoon got in!"

"So?"

"If a raccoon got in, we can out!"

Chase got up, excitedly, with an immense smile on his face.

"Skye! Liberty!" he exclaimed. "We can break out of here!"

Skye rubbed her eyes. "How?"

"A raccoon got in, so there must be an opening somewhere. Then we'll be able to escape!"

"But won't be have some very… violent punishment?" Liberty stated.

"It's the middle of the night!" Zuma rejoined, "Nobody's going to be outside at this time."

"Okay…" Liberty replied, hesitantly.

The pups had begun searching for the opening the raccoon had entered and exited from. Soon enough, Zuma located it!

"Guys! I found it!" the Labrador exclaimed!

It was a hole in the side of roof. They could climb up a tool shelf to it.

"How will we be able to out without snapping our necks?" Liberty questioned.

"When we were pulling in, I saw a storage shed by the house, with boxes by the shed. I think it was by where the hole is." Zuma answered.

While the other pups murmured with uncertainty, Zuma started climbing the tool shelf. Slowly yet steadily, he made his way to the top. He stuck his head out the hole and looked below; The storage shed and boxes were beneath him.

"Yup!" he exclaimed. "The stuff is right where I thought it'd be!"

He wriggled outside onto the top of the shed. Soon Liberty came out, followed by Chase and Skye. The pups descended the box staircase. Almost immediately as they reached the bottom, Chase's cat allergy was triggered. Waldo, the cat, was watching them.

"How have you all escaped?" the feline wondered aloud.

He ignored it and started yowling an alarm.

Shortly, Galvin strode out.

"Oy, Waldo, what is it?" he asked, hazily.

Momentarily, he snapped out of his drowse and remarked the pups had broken out. The canines began scampering every which way. Galvin and Waldo dashed after them. The tabby was threateningly swinging his claws. Before long, Waldo had got paces away from Chase. He clawed the pup's flank, causing it to bleed to a great extent. Due to the bleeding, Chase collapsed; he felt very woozy and lightheaded. Skye retreated from running to go check Chase.

Meanwhile, Zuma and Liberty were running side by side, with Galvin chasing them. The two pups were relatively far away from the man. Liberty tripped and severely scraped the front of her paw on the asphalt. Zuma swiftly boosted Liberty on his back and hastened off. Luckily, Galvin had his hands on his knees, and trying to catch his breath.
