They Don't Know About Us

Author's Note: Hey everyone and welcome back to They Don't Know About Us! So… surprise? Teach isn't dead. Like seriously though, that man isn't normal even in canon xD He's the perfect tool to use whenever I'm stuck on something, plus time to give Ace a slight? Break xD So, Shanks xD I hope you guys are enjoying! On with the fic!

Additional Notes: I do want to make it clear that Rayleigh/Shakky are still involved with each other and very much together! The whole Rayleigh/Rouge think will be explored further. I really love Shakky okay xD I can't just leave her hanging. She does play a key role in the whole situation because Shakky is a badass.

I have made the decision that I will be doing a version of this where Ace isn't pregnant so Marineford events will be different or basically how this fic would have played out if it wasn't for me asking you guys if Ace should be pregnant xD I think it would be fun to explore that version too. Just gonna go through and edit and fix things probably will end up adding in some more things too. So, if that's an interest for you, I will be doing that. That one will also include Roger's backstory that I kind of forgot I planned to do for this fic and never did it. I'll give more details once I have them for you if you're interested in it! I'll be completely honest… I'm so far in love with this dynamic I created that I just keep wanting to do different fics with them outside of just small oneshots in We Are (Family) xD like even an alternate universe where Shanks was a WBP for a while etc. So many choices and story ideas I have. So because I'm gonna be doing this, I'm going to update the summary to include this is the pregnancy version and the other isn't.

Thank you all for reading this fic and I'm so happy that you are enjoying it!

Chapter Warnings: Teach is an absolute creeper

Chapter Twenty-Seven: Scream (by Zac Efron)

Chapter Summary: Preparing to depart, the others discover Shanks never returned to the Red Force. Buggy is forced to reveal what happened leading up to Shanks' disappearance as they try to figure out what happened. Sengoku makes the decision to visit Law in person. Mihawk goes into a rage. Meanwhile, Shanks wakes up to find himself in the hands of Teach with an ultimatum.

When Law woke up the next morning, his heart fell to his stomach as the air caught in his throat. Eyes wide as he looked around, noticing the misplaced clothes over the area around them they were on. He peered over his shoulder, noticing that it was still early enough that no one was up and around. He took a look at Luffy, who was still halfway clothed, passed out cold. The Omega scooped up his clothes as quickly as possible, slipping them back on before he was starting back towards where he knew his crew would be.

He couldn't believe he allowed that to happen.

His heart beating against his chest as he got back over to his crew. All of them still fast asleep. Hell, most of the pirates were asleep around the campfires, curled up or in piles on top of each other. He had already seen Sabo and Koala curled together next to Ace and Marco. Sanji was asleep directly on top of Zoro a little from them. Chopper was asleep on top of Robin. The Whitebeard Pirates were practically a large dog pile. Even Whitebeard was asleep in the grass. Loud snores leaving the Alpha from where all of his Commanders were laying up against him. Rouge was passed out in the curve of his arm. Using his bicep as a pillow.

He sighed as he leaned back into Bepo. The mink curling around his back as he leaned back. His heart still pounding.

What the hell got into him the night before.

X

As Luffy's eyes opened, flashes of the night before came to mind. The drunken fog rising as his face flared in heat as he remembered what happen just before he had fallen asleep. He pushed himself up, looking around and noticing that Law was already gone.

Luffy let the smile slip onto his face either way. He never expected for it to happen, but it did. He wasn't going to regret it in the slightest. There's no way he could.

Straightening his clothes back into place, he started back up to where the others were. "Luffy." He paused, turning to see Rayleigh approaching. A large grin came to his face as he noticed what was in Rayleigh's hand. "Brought you something."

"Thanks Uncle Rayleigh!" He exclaimed, jumping up and wrapping around the man with a large grin on his face. "Man, I wish I had this with me before." He stated as he jumped back down, the elder Alpha handing over Yoku to him.

Luffy was bouncing on his feet as he secured Yoku back where it belonged. Readjusting his sash to make sure that his sword stayed. Sure, he never used it, but it was a comfort to have it with him. "We'll be leaving soon, once I stop by and see Shakky again, but your friend is taking us to where I will be training you." Rayleigh stated, motioning behind him to where Hancock was standing.

Luffy laughed, rushing forward, and wrapping his arms around the woman. The Warlord instantly muttering about Luffy hugging her. He pulled back, gazing up at her with his trademark smile, "Thank you, Hancock. For everything! I wouldn't have been able to save Ace without you!"

Hancock's face was a bright red as she muttered, "No problem at all. Anything for you, Luffy."

Luffy chuckled as he pulled away, leaving Hancock in a mess of her emotions in front of him. "I gotta say goodbye to my nakama before we go." He stated, calling back and yelling, "Thanks again!"

It hadn't taken long before the pirates started to stir, the lot of them complaining about the soreness in their bodies from sleeping on the hard ground. The cooks were up now, already starting to cook breakfast. Those staying in Paradise were going to be departing soon after breakfast ended. Ace groaned at the pain in his stiff neck, blaming the fact that he actually allowed himself to fall asleep on the ground but being by Whitebeard's side sounded better in that moment. He planned to stop by and see Shakky while they were waiting for their ship to get coated. It seemed like Shanks may have had the same thought, since when Ace checked his room for him, he wasn't there. Out of all of the ships, the Moby would take the longest. Soon enough, they would be heading back to the New World. A fresh start he supposed to would be.

He paused as a hand rubbed at the back of his neck, the dancing flames across his skin that had him relaxing in seconds as he leaned back against Marco's chest. "Probably not a good idea to sleep on the ground." Marco muttered.

Ace shrugged. "I don't mind. Wouldn't be the first time."

Marco chuckled, continuing to massage at the tense muscles. "The Strawhats will be leaving soon. The Revolutionaries are already preparing." Ace nodded, the small smile lingering on his face. The Alpha turned, leaning against the rail that Ace had been holding. "You should go say goodbye. You'll see them soon enough."

Ace looked through the corner of his eye, leaning over and placing his head against Marco's shoulder. "How can I ever thank them for what they did. All of them. They came in with prisoners from freaking Impel Down. Breaking into a prison for me." Ace paused, eyes widening as he leaned back up. "Oh shit, I forgot to talk to Jinbei."

"Jinbei? What about him?" Marco questioned. "He's with Oyaji right now."

"When he refused to fight… he was in my cell. I asked him to take care of Luffy for me if something happened to me." Ace stated. "He did just that."

The Omega turned on his heel, starting back off of the Red Force and back towards where the others would be, Marco hot on his trail. Everyone was now awake and moving around. Preparing even more for the departures that would be happening. Most of the allies would be departing soon or finding other coating mechanics to get back to the New World.

It was almost hilarious that Sabaody was completely surrounded in pirate ships and Revolutionaries. There were so many of them here for the ships that didn't get destroyed at Marineford. Ace was grinning as he rushed towards where Whitebeard was, and sure enough Jinbei was standing there speaking with him. Rouge was next to Whitebeard as well. Smiling at the Fishman as they spoke together.

"Jinbei!" Ace exclaimed, catching the other's attention.

Jinbei smiled at him as he turned. "Ace-san, how are you this morning?"

Ace ignored his question in favor of bowing. "Thank you, Jinbei."

"Ace-san…"

"You protected my brother for me. You honored my request, and I can never thank you enough for everything you did for Luffy." Ace stated, staying in his bowed position the entire time. "You fought so much for and with him."

Ace only looked up when he felt the hand on his shoulder, forcing him to look up and see Jinbei smiling down at him. "I could only do that because Luffy-kun gave me the opportunity to get to Marineford and lay my life on the line for you." Jinbei paused as Ace got back to his full height. A smile on the Omega's face. "You have a great brother, Ace-san. You were all he could focus on the entire time."

"He really is." Ace whispered, smiling as he looked over his shoulder to see Luffy with his crew. Tearful goodbyes going through the Strawhats. He did notice the addition of Yoku to his waist. Luffy must have made a trip to his ship. Wherever it may be on this Archipelago. "If anyone will be King one day… it's going to be him."

"I have no doubt, Ace-san."

Luffy's attention had turned to them, his grin getting bigger as he said something to his nakama before crossing over to them. "Ace! You look happy." Luffy said as his arms wrapped around Ace's midsection.

The Omega smiled, leaning his nose on the top of Luffy's head. "I am. About to head out."

Luffy nodded. "Rayleigh is gonna go say goodbye to Shakky before we go." The Alpha stated. "Hancock is going to be taking us to some island that I don't know where it is."

"Just the fact that Uncle Rayleigh will be training you." Ace laughed. "He's gonna knock the last few brain cells you have left out." He paused, motioning towards Luffy's sword, "I see you have Yoku again. Went to your ship?"

"Uncle Rayleigh got it for me." Luffy grinned, pulling away from Ace as he said, "He helped train mom but he's fine."

"Cause he's mom." Ace retorted. "You are you."

Luffy shrugged. "If I get stronger… that's all I care about because I have to kick your ass in two years."

Ace smirked. "Let's see if you can beat me."

"I'm going to." Luffy stated.

Ace snorted, turning back towards the others. "Speaking of mom… anyone seen him this morning? He wasn't in his room when I went onto the Red Force."

Everyone looked at each other, almost looking for the others for an answer when heads started to shake. "I thought he was on his ship." Rouge said.

Ace shook his head. "No, he wasn't." Ace looked back to the Red Force, noticing that Yasopp was coming down towards Usopp. Lucky was out on the deck, and Benn was speaking with some of the Whitebeard Commanders. Ace frowned. That was odd. Mihawk was also around, speaking with Zoro.

Ace let the frown settle on his face. Where was he? Did he go and see Shakky without telling anyone? That didn't seem like him. Even Buggy – who Ace really wanted to punch in the face now for his comments – was still hanging around, thought he heard the Alpha was planning on departing soon to meet back up with his crew. Wherever they may be.

"I'm sure he's just shopping or something." Marco stated. "It's Red-Hair, nothing will happen to him."

Why did Ace not believe that?

"He might have gone to see Shakky." Rouge stated. "Why don't we head over and see her. I'm sure she's itching to see you boys after that war."

Ace nodded. "Yeah, I guess so."

X

The trip to Shakky's was faster than what Ace thought it would be. Himself, Marco, Luffy, the Strawhats, and Rouge made their way to the bar. Rouge taking the lead as she hummed to herself. "Hey, Gran…" Ace questioned. There had been the question lingering on his mind ever since he heard the conversation between her and Shanks. The revelation of what Rayleigh and Rouge had done in order to protect Shanks. It left Shakky right in the middle. It would have been around the time that Rayleigh had met Shakky. He had been married to the bartender for as long as Ace could remember. Even before his own birth. He couldn't imagine what it was like being married to someone knowing they had a bond with someone else. It really was a weird situation.

Rouge hummed, peering over her shoulder. "You want to know about Shakky and I."

Ace nodded. "I know it's strange… but you're bonded to Uncle Rayleigh. Isn't it a bit weird."

Rouge shrugged. "It wasn't ideal because it felt like I was betraying Roger… mating to his own best friend. His sworn brother. If it wasn't for the fact that Roger had asked and Shakky gave her consent…" Rouge smiled. "Though, me and Rayleigh have never done the deed. Just a mating mark."

Ace blinked. "You can mate someone without having sex with them?"

Rouge laughed. "Of course, Ace. Didn't Benn teach you this?" Ace hummed, the flush coming to his face. He didn't actually listen to when Benn was teaching them about it. He didn't even listen to Shanks when he was explaining it. He had thought that he wouldn't ever actually want to have a mate. Not after seeing Mihawk and Shanks being away from each other. He didn't want to have the same pain. That was until he met Marco. "Really, it's kind of messed up if you think about it… just a pierce of teeth into a bond gland and you are tied to someone. Thankfully, for stuff like that… there's medications that can be taken to break a bond or surgical intervention. There is of course the death of your mate. Of course, a full bond is usually done during a heat or a rut but doesn't mean it can't be formed outside of that." Rouge paused for a second to take a breather, the smile on her face still. "I just needed to be bonded with Rayleigh enough. That's all. It had worked in the end. You have to have the intention to mate for it to hold."

"That's kind of messed up." Ace muttered, shivering at the thought. Bonds were a scary thing. Though, he doesn't mind. Not when it's the right person. "Does anyone know about that?"

"Mostly just those who know the history." Rouge replied. "Pups nowadays are taught that you have to do a complete bond for it to hold to keep from having ones that you don't want. It's just to protect others that they just leave it out."

"Wait… so you didn't sleep with Uncle Rayleigh?" Luffy questioned.

Rouge laughed. "No, I didn't. Bonds are a peculiar thing. Mating bonds have to be created by biting, while pack bonds are done with nails. There's a difference but they can work just the same."

"And Shakky approved of this?" Ace questioned.

Rouge nodded. "She did. It was right before they got married, but Rayleigh loves Shakky with everything he has and never wanted to hurt her. Even if it meant dishonoring a request."

Ace smiled. That was good to know. Now it was starting to make sense why Shakky would joke and call Shanks her step pup. Even though Shanks didn't even know why she said it. It all made sense now.

Getting to the Rip-Off Bar, Rouge was the first inside, immediately heading for behind the bar as they took seats around it. Rayleigh was at the bar, Shakky standing behind it. "Well, hello." Shakky stated, cigarette in hand.

"Hey, Aunt Shakky." Ace said as Shakky walked over, wrapping her arm around his shoulders.

"Don't pull a stunt like that again, young man." Shakky scorned.

Ace gave a grin as she pulled away. "I promise I won't."

"Good." Shakky stated, standing back up and taking another drag from her cigarette, blowing it away from the direction that Ace was. "I see you had to use Roger's back up plan."

"Unfortunately, yes." Rouge stated. "He was right in the end."

Ace leaned back, leaning into Marco's side as he watched Shakky walk over to Rouge and wrap her arms around the Omega's shoulders. "Just as long as if you all are okay." The Alpha woman stated, hands on either side of Rouge's face. "Roger was a smart man. He knew what would happen. The World Government proved as much."

"Commander Rouge was saying that you agreed to it." Robin stated. "That is an admirable thing to do."

Shakky smiled. "Of course. Roger was Rayleigh's best friend and his brother. Roger wanted to protect his son. I could understand why he wanted too." She said, taking another drag before adding, "That's why I told Rayleigh he should do it. He originally wasn't going too."

"Really?" Luffy questioned with a tilt of his head.

Shakky nodded. "Rayleigh had been put into a tough position. Though, it worked out."

Ace smiled. "Speaking of mom… have you seen him today?"

Shakky paused, corking her eyebrow. "Not since yesterday when I told him the same thing I'm telling you now. Left sometime before you guys had your party."

Ace frowned.

Where the hell was he?

X

Departures were put off as Shanks didn't show back up around lunch time. The concern starting to go through most of them from his sudden disappearance. The Red-Hair Pirates moved out onto the Archipelago to check the local areas to see if he just got distracted for a while. Though they all came back with absolutely nothing.

Ace was starting to get more concerned. Shanks could absolutely take care of himself, but he didn't just up and disappear on anyone. That was Mihawk's thing. Shanks always told someone if he was going somewhere.

With everyone back at where the ships were docked, Ace stood amongst them. The Omega chewing on his thumbnail as he looked around. "What was the last thing Shanks-san did last night?" Sabo questioned.

"Last time I saw him… he was dancing with Papa." Ace said.

"He walked off for some fresh air." Mihawk suddenly interjected, walking over now completely dressed back in his normal outfit with Yoru on his back.

"Did he even return back to his room?" Luffy questioned. "I was… busy." He added, a flush coming to his face that had Ace narrowing his eyes.

"No." Mihawk said, his gaze sharpening as he crossed his arms over his chest. A frown settled on his face as his nails dug into his arms. "I was using the night to prepare for departure back to Kuraigana."

Ace sighed looking away from them, pausing as he noticed the annoyed look on Buggy's face. He wasn't the only one who noticed as Mihawk growled, his eyes narrowing. Almost piercing as he looked at the other Alpha. "What do you know?"

Buggy made a choked noise as his eyes darted away, "The bastard drank to much and got sick." Buggy stated, pointing a little away from them. "Over there. That's where I saw him last. Stupid bastard probably is just passed out somewhere."

"Not this long." Benn said almost immediately. "He can be black out drunk and still awake in the early morning hours."

Ace hummed. Buggy knew something. He just wasn't saying. "There's more. Isn't there?" Mihawk continued to question, starting forward that had Buggy completely freezing in place. "You didn't just see him walk away, did you?" The Alpha growled.

"That's it. He was getting sick. That's all." Buggy said.

Rayleigh stepped forward, placing himself between Buggy and Mihawk. The elder Alpha's eyes glued to Buggy. "You're not saying the full truth. The face you're making… you made it on the Jackson when you and Shanks were up to something." Rayleigh stated.

"Buggy, just spit it out already." Ace hissed.

Buggy huffed mumbling, "I may have kissed him." Ace blinked, trying to make sure those words he heard correctly. Buggy… kissed Shanks.

Ace ran forward the second he saw Mihawk's hand move towards Yoru, hands out in front of him, placing them against Mihawk's shoulders. "Hold up." Ace muttered. He could feel the anger radiating off of Mihawk. How quick his face was getting red. "It's not like you can cut him anyway."

"You did what?!" Rayleigh exclaimed.

Buggy huffed, crossing his arms over his chest. "Don't worry, he shoved me away and told me to leave." The Alpha stated.

Mihawk let out a low growl as Marco stepped up next to Ace, placing a hand on Mihawk's shoulder. The Swordsman snarling the second he did so. "Buggy, what happened? Tell us everything."

Buggy eyed Marco for a second, his gaze moving between Mihawk and Marco for a second. "The bastard was getting sick. We argued. I kissed him. He shoved me away and told me to leave. I left. End of story." Buggy stated, shrugging like there was no issue.

Ace growled, baring his teeth as he hissed, "You call him a whore… just to turn around and kiss him?!" He paused, sucking a deep breath through his nose. "Why? Why would you do that when he literally married Papa just a few days ago?! That was never going to end well."

Buggy huffed, throwing his arms up. "I wasn't exactly thinking. I had been drinking and he was there and it just… happened."

Mihawk growled, breaking free from the two before Yoru was pulled and already slicing through Buggy's midsection. The blue-haired Alpha splitting apart just in time. "What the hell?!" Buggy hissed.

"You kissed my husband." Mihawk growled. "And now he's gone and took off. What did you say to him?"

"Nothing!" Buggy said as Mihawk grabbed the front of Buggy's shirt and pulled him forward. Ace moved over along with Luffy, grabbing ahold of his arm that he had pulled back. "He was fine when I walked away."

"Bullshit." Mihawk stated, bringing his fist down and hitting Buggy square in the nose. The haki radiating off of him pushed Ace and Luffy back, the two stumbling before they fell down. Marco and Rayleigh moved to separate Mihawk from Buggy, pulling the snarling Alpha away from Buggy.

Sabo rushed forward, kneeling down next to the two of them. "You two, okay?"

Ace nodded, rubbing at his hip that he landed on with a displeased look. He was getting really tired of falling on his ass as of recently. The Omega stopped, noticing that Luffy's hat had fallen off of his neck, laying on the ground. He reached over, pulling at the band where a vivre card was peeking out. Within the confines were all the ones that Luffy had collected.

The realization dawned on him as he exclaimed, "WE'RE IDIOTS!"

Everything around him seemed to pause as he pulled out of the vivre cards. Flipping through them until he came to the one with Shanks' name on it. The vivre card fluttering in his hand. "It's Mom's vivre card!" Luffy exclaimed a smile on his face.

Ace frowned as he noticed that all the others were stationary like they should be, but the direction that Shanks' was pointing wasn't towards the Archipelago rather away from it. The Omega pushed himself up, frowning as the vivre card continued to flutter in his palm, pulling away from him as he started off towards the ocean. "Ace? What's wrong?" Sabo called out.

Ace stopped at the shoreline, watching the way the card kept trying to pull away. His eyes widened as he felt his heart sink. His throat going dry as he looked over his shoulder to the others. All of them dead silent now.

"Mom's vivre card…" His voice trailed as he looked back out to the ocean, eyes scanning the waters. "It's pointing away from Sabaody."

X

"Garp!" Sengoku bellowed the second he walked down the halls, the other Alpha coming into his line of sight as he rounded the corner. Sure enough, Garp turned with a bag of rice crackers in hand. Munching on the next one. Sengoku took a deep breath as he walked over.

"What is it, Senny?" Garp questioned.

Sengoku peered over his shoulder for a moment, making sure that no one could hear him as he muttered, "I want to go see him, but I want you to go with me." The Alpha stated as he looked back over to his long-time friend.

Garp snickered. "Paternal instincts kicking your ass?" He questioned as he took another bite. "Sure, why not. I always have enough Fist of Love to go around. Got a bunch of brats to beat up."

Sengoku let the smile come to his face. "Garp… what if he wants nothing to do with me? I am the Fleet Admiral?"

Garp bellowed a laugh, the smile still on his face either way. "Senny, it's fine. Look at me. Don't sound so uncertain."

Sengoku sighed. "You knew what I meant."

Garp could only laugh again. "Nah, you'll be just fine. He loves Corazón enough to want to kill that Doflamingo bastard. I'm sure he'll speak with you."

Before Sengoku could say another word to Garp, a subordinate came running forward. Stopping directly in front of them with a salute. "Fleet Admiral, sir. Vice Admiral Garp. Some news from Sabaody Archipelago."

Sengoku put back up his demeanor, turning to face the man completely with a serious expression now plastered to his face. "What is it?"

"The Saber of Xebec… the ship of the Blackbeard Pirates was spotted leaving Sabaody Archipelago late last night."

Sengoku sighed, running his palm over his face. "So, that bastard survived."

"Seems so." Garp hissed.

"That's not all, sir." The Marine stated.

"What else could there possibly be?" Sengoku groaned.

"The Whitebeard Pirates, their allies, the Red-Hair Pirates, and the Strawhats arrived at Sabaody that morning." The Marine stated, this piqued Sengoku's interest. He hadn't been sure if they were actually heading for Sabaody or not. Though to get back to the New World, they would have too. Based off of the time, they would have had to stopped a few times for even a little bit of time.

Garp tensed next to him, a deep frown settled on his face. "What else is there?" Garp growled.

"It seems that the Red-Hair Pirates have been searching for their Captain. Red-Haired Shanks seems to have gone missing."

X

Mihawk felt the ringing in his ears as Ace's words reached his ears. Shanks wasn't here. Wasn't even on the Archipelago. There was only one possibility to why Shanks wouldn't be on the island and Mihawk didn't like the thought of it. The Alpha walked up, coming up behind his son and peeking over his shoulder. Seeing the fluttering of the paper in his palm, showing every sign that indeed indicated that Shanks was no longer on Sabaody.

Mihawk tsked, turning his head to level a glare on Buggy. "What else did you see last night? Where was he?" Mihawk questioned.

Buggy pointed away from them in the same direction he had seen Shanks walking towards. Mihawk pushed passed the others, a few of them hot on his trail as he walked over to the secluded spot. He stopped for just a moment, peering over his shoulder. From where he was standing, no one would be able to see him from where they were partying. He would also assume it was quieter. A small creek was just beside it with the water flowing through the small area. The Alpha looked back, surveying the ground.

"This is where you were?" Mihawk inquired, looking back to where Buggy was practically being manhandled over by Marco and Thatch. The blue-haired Alpha nodded.

"He was by that tree." He stated, pointing to the one that was a bit further away.

Mihawk continued through the area, walking over, and pausing at the exact tree. The evidence of Shanks' sickness at the trunk of the tree. Proving Buggy's words correct that Shanks had indeed gotten sick the night before. The Alpha paused as something caught his eye. He moved around the tree, kneeling down as he picked up a bottle from the ground. Completely empty.

Though, it wasn't the fact it was alcohol bottle that caught his attention. It was the brand. One that wasn't sold on Sabaody. One that he had seen in the sash of a familiar pirate that pissed him off beyond belief. He stood back up, a low growl leaving him. This could only mean one thing, and they had all missed it. No one had even noticed because they all had their guards down.

Mihawk should have known.

Ace gasped before a growl left him as Mihawk showed the bottle to the others, holding it up for all to see. Marco and Thatch were quick the growl too. The snarls coming to their faces.

"That can't be." Rouge muttered, hand going to her mouth as her eyes widened. "Oh God… Shanks." The tears started to pool in her beautiful wine-colored eyes as the realization dawned on her.

"That bastard is still alive, and he has Shanks." Mihawk hissed, the bottle breaking as his grip tightened. The glass cutting into his palm as he felt the sting behind his eyes.

How could he be so stupid?

Why didn't he think to check and make sure that Teach was actually dead?

For the man who was rumored all over the seas for not sleeping once within his entire life. A strange man entirely. Of course, it somehow worked in his favor. The entire world believed he was dead. They believed he was dead. How could he not be? Whitebeard had been close to ripping his heart out, stabbing him twice. Shanks had stabbed him through the chest. Mihawk had landed his own hit. All their blades had been covered in haki that should have negated Teach's Devil Fruit powers. How did this happen?

His nails started to sharpen as he felt his canines grow within his mouth.

He was going to cut this bastard's head clean off of his head once he got his hands on him.

Mihawk turned, fist slamming into the tree as it snapped completely in two and fell over. Crashing against the ground. Teach had been here. He had followed them. He had gotten Shanks. He could have even gone after Ace again and they never would have known.

Shanks was at the hands of the same man who told him he would force Shanks into submission.

And they had given him all the tools he needed to do so.

X

Everything was spinning as he finally came too. Though, even if he opened his eyes it was completely dark. Judging by the fabric that he felt on his skin, he knew all to well that he had been blindfolded. His head pounded, the pain erupting through his skull. The sickening twist of his stomach from the mixture of the drugs in his system and the alcohol he had consumed the night before.

Shanks groaned slightly, trying to move his hands, but only to find them bound above his head. The sound of the chains clanking slightly from the movement he gave to them. The memories from the night before were hazy. He couldn't hardly remember anything except the absolute amount of shock that he had been in.

The hairs on the back of his neck stood erect, his Observation haki running ramped to notify him of someone approaching. He sucked in a deep breath as he felt fingers running down his jaw and over the crook his neck, lingering over the bond mark that was there from Mihawk. Twirling around the scarred skin.

The stench came to his nose next. A scent that lingered within his nightmares. His heart started to pound against his chest.

This was impossible.

He was dead.

"You seem surprised again, Red-Hair." Teach's voice filled his ears, nails scrapping harshly across the gland on his neck. Shanks barely flinched, choosing not to give this monster the satisfaction of gaining one from him. "How surprised can you be? You think that would kill me?" The Omega remained silent, exhaling sharply through his nose. "It was so easy to capture you. The famed Red-Haired Shanks. The untouchable… got captured within seconds."

Teach's fingers moved along from his neck, moving down to the revealed part of his torso, grazing almost too gentle across the tanned skin that showing. Shanks tried to keep his breathing even as the buttons started to be undone. Slowly. One by one until his shirt was open and hanging at his sides.

"Still not going to say anything to me?" Teach started to cackle again, hand laying flat over his abdomen. Shanks shivered in disgust. "Despite having two pups, your skin is flawless. No stretch marks. No nothing."

"You don't think I can't get out of this, Teach?" Shanks finally questioned.

Teach chuckled, fingers dancing over his navel now, stopping just short of the sash around his waist. "Oh, I know you can." Teach stated. "But you won't."

"What gives you that idea?" Shanks shot back.

"If you even try, I'll go catch me a little Omega named Ace." Shanks' blood ran cold. Ace had already lost to this bastard once. Teach would do it again. Shanks couldn't even doubt that. Not when he felt the power himself. "Just be a good little Omega and stay put." Teach whispered, leaning down until his lips were ghosting over Shanks' ear. The Omega turned his head, attempting to move it away from the Alpha lingering above him. "One step out of line and your pup loses his pup."

Shanks jerked at the chains, snarling as he said, "Don't you dare lay a hand on him."

Teach chuckled, leaning back away from him, hands leaving his body as Shanks was left there, laying flat on his back. His mind was still foggy that he couldn't pinpoint exactly where Teach was. Just that he was still within the room. "Want to know what I told Commander Ace at Marineford?" If Shanks could glare at this asshole as a response, he would but unfortunately there was fabric in the way. "I almost had a complete set. The two of you." Teach was laughing again, his footsteps echoing. "You've always been something special, Red-Hair. Ever since we were just apprentices. I knew I had to have you. Ace… he's just a bonus. So kind, and generous. He's just like his mother. It's appealing really. The things I could have done to him when he was on my ship. So helpless."

Shanks jerked his arms again, letting out the low growl that was rumbling in his throat. "I swear to God, Teach, I'll fucking kill you if you dare—"

"You've already tried to kill me, Red-Hair. Twice. It didn't work now, did it?" Shanks mouth snapped shut.

"How the hell did you survive?" Shanks questioned.

"If I told you, that would just ruin it." The Alpha replied. "To think, I was able to come in and sweep you right off your feet without even your mate noticing. Though, I guess it would be husband now?" Shanks felt the air catch in his throat again as he felt a tongue suddenly move over his neck, directly over his bond gland. He shuddered involuntarily as he threw his head forward, smashing his already pounding skull into Teach's. Not even a second later, he felt the pain explode on his cheek as Teach's palm connected with it. The force sending his head to the side. "What did I just tell you, Red-Hair? No acting out. Maybe, I'll go kill Straw Hat instead." Shanks snarled, thrashing at this point as he tried anything to attempt and land another hit on Teach. He only stopped when he felt something cold and sharp touching his neck. "You wouldn't want to leave your pups without their mother, would you?"

"What the hell do you want?" Shanks questioned, letting his voice drop as a hand curled in his hair, pulling backwards to reveal his neck even more. The blade pressing deeper that he felt the nick on his skin before it was followed by a thin line of blood.

"You."
