After seeing Darknest's true form, one constellation came to mind:
Ophiuchus. The Serpent Bearer. The Thirteenth Zodiac.
Thus, my mind came up with several theories:
~ Darknest was an alien who fell in love with one of the Star Princesses. He wanted her to stay with him, and travel the universe together. When he found out that she refused due to her duties, he fell into despair.
Or...
~ The thirteenth princess, Ophiuchus, and the youngest of the Star Princesses is actually Fuwa. She once was close friends with her pet serpent. Then one day, her serpent disappeared. In truth, he transformed into Darknest. At some point, he attacks the Star Palace, forcing Fuwa to use up all her power to stop him. This only led her to power down to her baby alien form and for Darknest to revert to a crystal.
~ Darknest will show himself to the Cures. Criticize me all you want, but I want to see a scene where Fuwa suddenly shields Darknest, begging the Cures to not hurt him, still thinking he's still a good friend in the inside. Darknest is unfazed, then attacks Fuwa. When all 5 Cures, including Prunce, are badly beaten, Fuwa realized she has to fight Darknest herself and becomes the 6th Pretty Cure, Cure Wish.
~ In the Final Battle, Darknest is fully purified into his true form, a rather cute serpent.
Or...
~ He is purified into his true alien form, reconciles with the Star Princess he fell in love with, they marry, and live happily ever after.
I'm excited for the next episode. I do hope Hikaru's dad becomes the next secret keeper of the Cures after seeing his daughter fight.
I also wish we could see Lala's parents. I mean, come on. A teenage alien lands on Earth with two small aliens looking for Legendary Warriors and we haven't seen flashbacks of how they met or even her life on her home planet before the series even started.
I even wonder if Lala is a princess on her home planet.
I do hope the Cures' families and friends become secret keepers in future chapters. I also really, really, want to see their allies join them on the Star Palace the next time they resurrect a Star Princess.

By the way. Do you guys think the Notraiders are actually corrupted aliens from different races? Can you imagine Kappard, Tenjo, and Aiwarn in their purified original forms?
