So far Season 4 has been... satisfactory.
Now I just want to see a few things happening and I can finally forgive the Zag Team for Season 3:
~ Marinette's classmates (excluding Lila), one-by-one, discovering their favourite red heroine is actually their classmate through certain separate events which they have to undergo through. (Alix, while trapped in a maze... Nathaniel, while escaping from mummies... Kim, while hiding from animated toy robots... etc.) They keep this revelation to themselves, not knowing their fellow classmates know until a few episodes later. Marinette herself will not know that her superhero alter-ego has been discovered multiple times.
~ Alya finally realizing that Lila has been lying to her and her classmates about everything: When Lila asks Rena Rouge for an interview, the heroine refuses, claiming she already promises an interview for the LadyBlog. This leads to Lila making up a lie about Alya being a "corrupt" reporter, claiming that she posts mean things about other people, even her classmates. Lila keeps insisting that her lies are true with fake tears, finally convincing Rena that Marinette was right.
~ After discovering Lila's true character, a dismayed Alya tells Trixx that Lila would have made a better holder for him, after her classmate was able to trick everyone in school in believing that she was friends with famous, influential people and evaded punishment for framing Marinette. Trixx immediately refuses, claiming he doesn't need a liar for a holder, but a friend he can trust on.
~ There should be an artifact - an ancient monument of some sort - depicting an individual only Trixx recognizes as his former holder. He'll start talking about his previous holders, some of who were thieves who abuses his power to steal from the unfortunate. He hasn't had a good partner for a long time, and was grateful Alya became his holder.
~ Unlike the previous season, not only will there be new heroes, but they will be interacting with their future kwamis before they are entrusted with the Miraculouses. Some will be given their Miraculouses, but not from Ladybug.
~ Mullo might have accidentally fallen inside Marinette's backpack, resulting to her unknowingly bringing the kwami to school. This leads to the kwami unexpectedly meeting Mylène. The two bond over their fears: Mylène, afraid of performing before a large group of people, and Mullo, afraid of being lost in a new environment and being discovered by bad people. It's through Mullo Mylène discovers that Lila was actually planning to intentionally make her fail in the last audition so that her liar of a classmate can be the lead star of the play. Her anger towards Lila gave her the motivation and confidence to perform well, earning her the spot of lead star. Before the play, and after the Akuma Attack, she helps Mullo return to Ladybug. In return for her kindness, Mullo watches her on opening night and secretly sends her a flower to show her support and gratitude. Few episodes later, they see each other again, now a part of a team.
~ Orikko wanted to see an exhibit on display in the museum, so he secretly snuck into Marinette's bag. When the villain-of-the-day attacks, Orikko was separated from his Guardian and her friend. He comes across Nathaniel, who protects him from the villain-of-the-day's minions. Instead of running away to safety, Nathaniel decides to rescue his friends who were being held captive. Orikko, after reading his superhero comic, tells him that it wasn't the time for him to be a hero, but he argues that he's not trying to become a hero; he just wants to save his friends. This impresses Orikko. When the two meet Ladybug, Orikko manages to convince the heroine to give the Rooster Miraculous to Nathaniel.
~ And since we all want Lila to finally be exposed as the ugly liar she really is, Nathaniel, in his new hero form, finds Lila deliberately tossing the birthday present Marinette made for her in the trash. Once the fight's over and the Miraculous returned, Nathaniel retrieves the disposed present and returns it to Lila, asking loudly why she would throw it away. Of course Lila would lie, saying she was allergic to it, to which Nathaniel will counter. Soon she'll be saying more excuses which the rest of the class will counter with lies she told them in the past, wondering if their classmate was telling the truth or not.
~ I think we can all agree that we want Gabriel to cut ties with Lila, right? Akuma Attack... Gabriel and Lila stuck with Marinette... Unable to transform... They have to stay inside the bakery in order to keep safe. Since Gabriel has suspicions of Alya working closely with Ladybug, he thinks he can get more info about her through her best friend. Well... he could have gained valuable information, if Lila hadn't constantly kept Marinette away from him. Eventually he manages to talk once more with Marinette, but the subject wasn't Alya. The next thing he knew, he was opening up to Marinette, both sharing the fear of losing the ones they care about. To Gabriel, he already lost one, and didn't want to lose another. Marinette makes him realize that he is about to if he keeps distancing himself from his son's life. When the villain's minions reaches them, Gabriel drops an important gift Adrien gave him, forcing Marinette to run back to retrieve it. This leads her to almost fall off her living room and into the hard pavement, had Gabriel not transformed into Shadow Moth and saved her. In the end, when Lila tries to make Marinette look bad in front of Gabriel by showing a picture of her being saved by Shadow Moth, Gabriel permanently deletes the picture off her phone as a sign of gratitude for her selflessness and empathy. He even considers cutting ties with Lila after she made it sound like his son was a prize of some sort. On the way home, he doesn't notice his Miraculouses glowing eerily.
~ When the civilians are held hostages and locked in cages, Marinette tells the kwamis to unlock the cages while she, and maybe a few or so of her friends, distract the villains. In order to secretly and quietly get the prisoners out, the kwamis have to reveal themselves, introducing themselves as friends of the heroes. One of the kwamis sneezes, catching the attention of the guards. Ms. Mendeleiev has to fake a sneeze so to remove any suspicions.
~ So Chloe isn't Queen Bee anymore. She has returned to her Season 1 self, but worse. But can the appearance of her sister really, finally change her for the better?
~ The future dog hero. Her name sounds... fancy. Maybe I'm over-thinking it. But maybe... just maybe... It's actually someone we least expect. (Not Little Miss Liar-Liar-Pants-On-Fire.) If I didn't know any better, I'd say Barkk will finally set this hero straight.
~ Adrien realizes he has fallen for Marinette. Unfortunately, Marinette has fallen for his alter ego. Lila notices this and ropes Chloe into tearing the two apart. Lila tells Adrien that his father will never allow him to be with Marinette, adding that he controls his son's decisions and life. Chloe goes to Marinette and gives her back the lucky charm she gave Adrien which he somehow "lost", telling her to stay away from him and a lot of nasty stuff. This leads to Shadow Moth to Akumatize and Amokatize Marinette into Princess Justice. Feeling guilty that she had selfishly dragged her friends into a magical war, her guilt and desperation to stop Shadow Moth summoned Sentimonsters in the form of her friends' akumatized forms, intending to make them replacement holders of the Miraculouses.
~ Realizing her best friend has been akumatized, Alya rushes to retrieve the Miracle Box. In the process, she runs into Sentimonster Lady Wifi, who declares herself as "Trixx' new partner." Luckily for her, Nino rescues her in time. The other temporary heroes came to help as well. Somehow, Chloe, Sabrina and Lila are there. Something happens which will lead Lila to lie that she's Ladybug... only for the group to laugh. They reveal they know who Ladybug is, due to Marinette's struggles as the Guardian, and that they also know that Lila is a pathological liar. Angered, Lila blindly thrashes, revealing how she tricked everyone with her lies, unaware she was being recorded. She even bragged that her "skills" would have made her a better hero than Alya, which Trixx immediately, and strongly refuses.
~ The kwamis emerge from the Miracle Box, wanting to help save their Guardian's friends. Although... they also need help after: Rose is reunited with Daizzi, who declares that she's a stronger and braver princess than Sentimonster Fragrance. Though Markov can't see Kaalki, he helps distract Senti-Gamer so that Max can save his kwami, who expresses her gratitude to both of them, verbally and through morse code. After Ivan saves Stompp, the kwami states how the big boy has a soft side despite his size, after Ivan claims the kwami's tough for someone small, then (Stompp) states that they are gonna get along just fine. Xuppu, despite claiming that Kim is a moron, states that he rather have him as a holder rather than Senti-Cupid.
~ So Shadow Moth only intended to have Marinette akumatized. Imagine his and everyone else's reactions when he finds out that Adrien has been akumatized into Prince Charming, despite being nowhere near Marinette when she was akumatized. (New leveled-up power. A bond so strong, both hearts are affected, no matter how far apart they are.) As Prince Charming, he has the same powers as Princess Justice; bless those with selfless hearts, and curse those who bring harm to others for their own selfish greed!
~ Oh. And he asks Princess Justice to marry him. (Insert laugh) Oh the reasons he tells Chloe and Lila in disgusting and insulting tones to why he can never be with either of them. And Alya will be all like, "I object! I object! I OBJECT!", stating numerous reason why her akumatized best friend, in her own words, should not be marrying the akumatized boy of her dreams in an early age, and in their current situation.
~ Of course, Shadow Moth is against this as well, despite his newfound respect for Marinette. Still, Princess Justice manages to get on his good side, but he still wants them to wait until they are in the ages where they are liable for marriage.
~ Now... Pollen is upset that Chloe betrayed the heroes' trust, but the kwami expresses her guilt for not staying by her previous holder's side. She really wanted to stay with Chloe, and even begged to Master Fu about it, but the rules prevented her from being approved. For centuries, she has been of service to many vain queens. She thought Chloe was different and just needed a friend to guide her. Too bad the rules prevented the kwami from helping her holder turn a new leaf. Hearing this, Chloe was touched, and expresses guilt for mistreating her kwami. This led her to finally hand-over her Queen Bee mantle to her sister.
~ So before Prince Charming and Princess Justice could officially tie the knot, the heroes, and their friends, manages to reach out to them, giving them the strength and resolve to break free from Shadow Moth's hold on their own. Then we have Marinette and Adrien being forgiven because their friends understood they lied about their secret hero identities to protect their friends and families. The same can't be said to Lila, who stillpretended to sound remorseful, since she lied only to make herself look good and hurt other people. And on top of that, even if everyone was cured by Miraculous Ladybug, she has been exposed as a pathological liar to the public.
~ Lila tries to blackmail the others into forgiving her by taking pictures of them with their kwamis. Unfortunately, kwamis can't be seen in phones.
~ Impressed by the his foes' friends' loyalty and trust, and after Princess Justice reminded him of the real reason why he wanted the Miraculouses in the first place, Shadow Moth decides to surrender the Peacock Miraculous and Duusu to Marinette, telling her that he will do the same to the Butterfly Miraculous and Nooroo if she can prove to him that there's another way to fix the past.
~ So Marinette's Akumatization attracted the Celestial Guardians of the Miraculous. The temporary heroes speak up for their friends, pointing out the many sacrifices they made in order to keep them, and the city safe. Rather than taking away the Miraculouses, the Celestial Guardians grant Marinette the honor of choosing her permanent teammates, after realizing their old ways and teachings would not work well for the new generation of heroes.
~ Having watched Lila's tantrum earlier, Gabriel finally cut ties with Lila, labeling her as a manipulative, unstable gold-digger. He even approves of his son's friends and his blossoming relationship with Marinette. (After breaking free from Akumatization, our favourite duo are reduced to stuttering messes who looked like they saw each others' birthday suits.)
~ Almost forgot: When Sentihorrificator attacks the heroes in order to stop them from crashing the wedding, Mullo suggests that Mylène use her Miraculous to weaken the Sentimonster. Mylène was unsure, so Lila offers to be the hero. Unfortunately for her, she can't get the Mouse Miraculous out of the box. Like Marinette, the Miracle Box doesn't trust her. She starts making excuses on why Mylène shouldn't be a hero, only to give Mylène the determination to retrieve the Mouse Miraculous and transform into Multimouse. Multimouse manages to weaken and shrink Sentihorrificator by using her mini clones to mess with her.
~ Let's say Marinette loses the Peacock Miraculous when she attempts to use it to defeat the Akumatized villain. Someone finds it and transforms to save the heroes. After saving the day, she runs off but secretly returns the Miraculous to Ladybug. In the next episode, we'll have the team trying to figure out who the peacock heroine was. Lila, who still hates the heroes, (as usual), tries to constantly expose their identities to the public, but fails many times. Her frustration gets her akumatized into a peacock copycat villain. She attacks the civilians with Sentimonsters to make the real peacock heroine look bad. She even creates a Chat Noir Sentimonster to trick Ladybug, but is she for real? Her lies have gotten so predictable, its practically boring the heroes to death.
~ As for the real peacock heroine, not wanting to lose the heroes' trust, she reveals herself, which the heroes knew, ALL ALONG. She reveals she only did it to help Ladybug and didn't think she was in the same level as the others. The heroes disagree, and agree that she's a true, brave hero for helping them before and selflessly returning the Miraculous when the job was done. Ladybug entrusts the Miraculous to her, and she confronts the fake peacock. The fake peacock challenges the hero peacock to a Sentimonster Battle. The hero peacock refuses, knowing if she accepts, they'll put innocent civilians in danger. The fake peacock mocks her cowardice, claiming civilians get hurt all the time since they're not heroes. The fake peacock celebrates her "victory", only to be scorned by the people of Paris for revealing her true, selfish side. And cue Akuma defeat, followed by the welcoming of the new official member of the French Miraculous Team.
~ The kwamis should also have some additional skills other than their main abilities; Trixx sniffing out lies, Longg winning against Kagami in sword-fight, Wayzz being a DJ, etc.
~ Still wishing for a puppy for Marinette. Overall, I want this season to end with the defeat of the TRUE, main villain: Lila. Because I truly believe, Gabriel Agreste is redeemable.
