Padme walked out of the inn – on the narrow dense lanes of this city: Phellar. She had been here before… a long time ago. As a Senator, she was once expected to make a retinue trip on Eriadu. That was some time ago.

She walked with the receiver, until she was at some distance from the inn – but she managed to find a more secluded spot on the streets.

"Bail." She expressed her voice on the com.

"Padme! I am so glad you received me. Are you all right?" She heard the steady and prompt reply.

"No. I am not." She said; how on earth can I be?

"I understand. These are difficult times. We must be strong." Organa said sincerely.

"I don't think I can, Bail! I don't even want to."

"I understand, Padme. But you must tell me how you are. Where are you?"

"Obi-Wan was with you…!"

"He is. But he will respect my wishes. I have told him it doesn't make much sense to rush in and kill…" Bail gave his commitment; to protect his friend and colleague, whom he perhaps trusted the most in the Senate - her and Mon Mothma. Though Organa was probably more closer to the former.

"He can't kill Anakin, Bail!" Padme desperately exclaimed.

"I know; But Anakin is a threat right now. He is dangerous."

Padme began to sob silently.

"Padme, please know that I am here for you.

"How is Anakin right now?" Bail asked seriously.

"I don't know. He is with Ahsoka…" Padme answered… thoughtfully.

"We managed to escape a clone patrol... Anakin piloted his way out. And then he just fell unconscious. He is resting ever since then."

"What do I do now, Bail?"

"Anakin is the father of you child?" Bail asked.

Padme didn't answer that... but her silence and heavy breathing did.

"Why do you think he has turned, Padme? You must be truthful with me."

"I don't know. I don't know him anymore.

"He speaks of these visions… Jedi visions… he has of me dying in childbirth… He said Palpatine had the power to stop them… to save me."

"I do not know much about the Force," Bail replied, "Palpatine, they say is a 'Sith Lord'."

"How has he been with you?" He asked tersely.

"He's been wild… but he was calmer the last time… he was begging me to come with him to the Chancellor…"

Bail considered everything deeply.

"Nothing can happen to him, Bail… Please." She once again, pleaded.

"But you can see he is not your husband anymore… the way he is going… Think, Padme. Can you really live like this?"

Padme didn't speak for a few moments…

"I don't know. Maybe I can't stay with him if he goes down that path. But I will always love him. He will always be the father of my child. And my…. our child has every right to know his father. To know Anakin. I won't deny him that. I can't let anything happen to him."

"What about his loyalties right now?"

"I don't know."

Bail then asked. "And... Ahsoka Tano? His former Padawan, wasn't she?... How was she with you on that ship?"

"She had come from… Mandalore, I think, yesterday. I didn't know she had also snuck aboard the ship."

"How come Anakin has not harmed her?"

"Anakin would never hurt her, Bail!" Padme said, aghast, "He loved Ahsoka. They were devoted to each other. He would never do that!

"Ahsoka is talking to Anakin. He trusts her."

Organa acknowledged this with a nod.

"What is going to happen, Bail?" Padme whimpered.

"I don't know, Padme. I must do my own work now. I wish you could join us."

"I can't leave Anakin…"

"Talk more to Anakin. See and understand why and where he is. He will listen to you, Padme. Be careful, but strong and firm too... trust your instincts...

"Skywalker is supporting a dictator right now. We must not forget that."

"The galaxy is a ripping apart …." Padme whimpered.

"Yes, it is. It is. But we must not lose sight of our aims. Master Yoda has gone to defeat the Emperor. But I don't know how successful that will be.

"We can only, wait now, Padme. Time is on our side – right now the Empire is still on the offensive, quick to immediately dominate and eliminate… They are high-spirited and impulsive right now… As is Anakin, I am sure… time will only help, Padme. Please be patient."

Padme thought deeply and sighed again… she felt some strength sustain her.

"Thank you, Bail. I don't know how much I can thank you."

"You do not need to. Stay on your guard, Padme. Be alert. Don't lose yourself right now."

Padme nodded.

I must go back to Anakin now... Anakin!

I must be collected... I have to be.
