A/N: So, in the first Section, the alternate universe from Anakin and Obi-Wan duel and his desecration into Darth Vader, has been replaced, with a short journey throughout the galaxy to Eriadu. But what is Eriadu? What planet is it? And what are the kind of politics about it? Presently, the political order of the galaxy has changed, and its consequences must be felt and responded to by the different star systems across its expanse.

Anakin, Ahsoka and Padme sat silently in the room… after all the events, it was strange and odd to be so inert right now… but it would soon solvate, Ahsoka thought… I don't know in which direction it will go so…

And it did erupt! A bang was heard… must have been from the street ahead; at least a few blocks beyond the inn.

"We must check what's going on outside." Said Padme.

"Why?" Anakin said. "Why are we involving ourselves on this rock of a planet? We can't just run away and entangle ourselves somewhere else in whatever whim you find." And this is away from the central events of the galaxy...

"Anakin." Ahsoka said. "The war… the new war can come soon anytime. And they're capable of destroying everything."

Anakin listened to Ahsoka; he trusted her. But event after the other forced him away from the path he wanted... he who sought ultimate power found it ebbing away from him... But.

I will not lose myself now, he thought... I have to decide... I will be there for Padme, for anything she needs. But I will have to go to Sidious... In some way or the other... as Sidious cannot be left in the dark... he will not be. He has... made? me kill the Jedi and sent clones to exterminate them all across... He promised me power! To save Padme!

Was he wrong? Was he lying? What are his plans for the galaxy? Was he merely using me? Has he but destroyed my world? I do not know. But I do know, that I cannot trust him. Padme is right. I will make my own path.

I am not with the Jedi and... I am not with the Emperor either... I must carefully manage now. Ahsoka? She is with us now. She is with me... in what way though? I will find a way for us. I will. And I can.

He was calm now; having a determination not unlike the likewise strong one he had with the Dark many hours ago, but more like what he had, as Anakin when he would lead his men in battle, when he would make a decision with Obi-Wan or when he gave serious instructions to Ahsoka... as he had learnt and grown in the clone wars. Anakin was ready - for anything to come.

Ahsoka and Anakin changed from their robes into some new clothes Padme bought… and the three went out of the doors… C-3P0 and R2D2 were left with the star-fighter - to guard it.

Ahsoka saw Anakin walk very warily. Usually events like these would jolt him in enthusiasm and action… in fact, the duo of them… with their battalion… Rex!... reveled in them. But Ahsoka knew Anakin was not lax – at any second he would pull out his saber and and eliminate any threat… like he has done so recently…

Outside, they saw a great hustle and bustle. People were running up the lanes. "What is going on?" Padme asked a woman.

"The Republic office here was bombed just now… probably by insurgents. The Repu… Empire… is sending troops. The city council is now briefing us."

They reached a podium – an enormous platform around which hundreds of people stood, all anxious… they have to be, thought Ahsoka. They could see – not too clearly due to the crowd – five men arrived and took seats. They all looked solemn.

"Citizens of Phellar!" One of the men in the podium said. "There has been a crushing terrorist attack here! Attacking a Republic outpost! This treason will not be permitted. All of you are asked to immediately list out any possible suspects as terrorists. We will hand these over to the Clone armies arriving here. We have to show loyalty right now to the Republic at this time. The war is over! Chancellor Palpatine has assured peace! As you know, he has dealt with the Jedi who instigated this entire conflict. We must show our support for him."

One of the Councillors turned to the speaker and spoke slowly, "Councillors, I believe we should be cautious… We must not excite ourselves. These men may not be fervent terrorists. No one was killed in the bombing; there are no casualties. Let us de-escalate it with the officers the Republic is sending…

"Things have transpired very rapidly… the Chancellor has just transformed our thousand year Republic into an Empire… the Jedi have been hunted and… neutralised… brutally so in fact… I understand that our Senate in its wisdom voted for this change, but still, Councillor Tari, we must show restraint at this point."

"Councillor Voax, what you are saying is treason!" Tari curtly responded. "We can show no mercy. Any terrorists here are a disgrace to our planet, which has shown all loyalty and support to the Republic in this war. If we do not show likewise action, Phellar and Eriadu may be rooted for suspicion and disloyalty." The man seemed somewhat affrighted now.

Councillor Voax simply nodded, his opinion firmly entrenched in his expressions. Tari continued. "All those who vote for this move, say Aye."

The Ayes arose from all the men except Voax. Tari's 'aye' was vehement, but after hearing Voax speak, the other Councillor's votes were more hesitant.

"Very well," said Tari. "Our watch will work with the citizens to get out the names. We have only about an hour till they arrive."

But the capital ships arrived just then… so instantaneous… Ahsoka didn't have the same experience in the Clone Wars. And she knew: We must be prepared for whatever is coming... more so than ever... As I thought, this is the very and only battle of our lifetime. The odds don't matter.
