A/N: So I'm writing Chapter 2 sooner than I planned as I didn't realize there is a 12 hour probation before I can post after activating a new account. In boredom and adrenaline from wiring again after about five thousand years I figured what the hell might as well keep going. Excuse any typos - let me know if they are and I'll edit ! (I try my best but I hate the editing lol)

Not really sure how long or how far I want to take this, but this is the sequel I kind of imagined after the conclusion of the story that I'm stewing on right now. Just wanting to spend some more time in BBRAE fantasyland.

While I love the reaction people have to the written word I will say this story is purely for my own selfish, self indulgent comfort and therefore may contain copious amount of fluff, slow burns and all the tropes. All the romantic tropes. Reviews are appreciated but respect that I live and breath for this ship. (Epitome of healthy coping skills and attachment style, that is me.)

Anyways enjoy!

Songs I was listening to while I wrote this:

Beauty and the Beast (Celine Dion version sorry not sorry)

Save the Best for Last (Vanessa Williams) - will 100 percent write a songfic with this at some point… are those still a thing?

I Won't Say (I'm in Love) - Susan Egan (Yes from Hercules!)

There was no damage to the city, no commotion in the forest beside the commonplace shuffle of the branches and occasional howling, and no sign of where his teammates had disappeared too.

Robin stared intently at the computer screen, unable to press any buttons or decide on any click of the mouse. This was a huge problem. While "The Beast" didn't look nearly as out of control or animalistic as it had before, it afforded that villain the same amount of care he would have given a piece of lint he was flicking of his shirt. Two inner... monsters? (No, that's not quite the right word is it…) Well, two whatever the hell you call them were an unexpected addition to his team, his family. Two dangerous and unpredictable new members. Raven's demonic side had caused a major issue with the Doom Patrol months before, and this also isn't the first time Robin has noticed the strain on Beast Boy's face and uniform during battle. He's been working to keep that thing in check. And now those…"beings" been introduced to each other? The way the entire rest of the world disappeared to these two sides of his friends made it hard for him to swallow the last bit of his coffee. The rest of us could have been tossed aside just as easily, if they'd even registered we were there.

He slammed his coffee cup back down, the remaining liquid splattering the desk. It just didn't make any sense! All the Titans were in danger constantly, all of them had sustained life threatening injuries. There were enough bleak moments to create a 5-way trauma bond with the strength of Tungsten. So why did The Beast and The Demon, for lack of a better word, seem to only come out for Raven and Beast Boy respectively? They had gotten a small taste of Raven's demon a few times before, but nothing like what happened in September. He pushed his cup away in disgust as flashes of that night came to mind. Snatching his mug and sighing, he rose slowly from his chair and with heavy steps left his room and headed for the common space.

Cyborg was singing with a weird grin on his face while cleaning the dishes. Starfire wore a content smile while gently stroking Silkie and listening to Cyborg's serenade. Robin wanted to throw his cup against the wall for the utter lack of concern he was assaulted with.

"Tale as old as time, true as it can be…BARELY EVEN FRIENDS"

"Cyborg! Do you mind keeping it down? Or did you forget we have two missing Titans and a MAJOR FUCKING PROBLEM to try and solve?"

Cyborg and Starfire shot each other a confused look.

"What do you mean Robin? Was is the problem to which you are referring?"

"Oh I don't know Star, the giant green man-animal and 7-foot demon that obliterated a warehouse and disappeared into the night? Or is that just a typical Tuesday for us now?"

Hearing Cyborg chuckle, Robin gritted his teeth and offered a gentlemanly

"WHAT"

"Hey Robin I know that this may seem like the end of the world, but I know those two will be back probably within the hour so no harm no foul."

"No harm?!"

Starfire flew to Robin's side and gently placed her hand on his forearm.

"Do you not know?"

"Know what?"

Cyborg continued his jaunty tune.

"Then somebody bends unnnnnnneexpeenttllyyyyyyy… Just a little change, small to say the least…."

"CYBORG"

"ROBIN! WHAT"

"What are we going to do? We have two teammates with powerful inner … inner… parts of themselves that are getting activated for some unknown reason! How are we suppose to account for that? How am I suppose to prepare for missions or try and devise a last minute strategy during an emergency? Three months ago Raven almost destroyed an entire block of Jump City and the two head members of the Doom Patrol. And now this side of her is running off with Beast Boy's uncontrollable primal state? How does this not concern you?"

"I mean, they only come out when they're trying to protect each other. It makes sense that it would start to happen a lot more now. I mean don't get me wrong… it's terrifying and I am using every bone, ha, left in my body to stay in denial about what's probably happening in the forest right now but… you're telling me you're not a little happy? I think once the initial… introductory phase is over they both will start to gain a little more control over whatever is riling them up."

Robin turned to Star, eyebrow raised and eyes searching for any assurance or camaraderie. He only got a small chuckle. The doors to the common room suddenly swished open. A red-faced Beast Boy and very red-faced Raven hesitantly stepped down the stairs so they could avoid eye contact and stare at the floor in shame. Despite the grittiness of the battle not hours ago, they both looked freshly showered and put together. Had they snuck in when he was arguing with Cyborg?

"Titans… we need to have a meeting."

Robin crossed his arms across his chest and glared slightly as Raven and Beast Boy made their way slowly to the couch. Cyborg and Starfire couldn't hide the amused smirks as they did the same.

"First off, are you both okay."

Raven had her hood up and was sinking deep into the couch while Beast Boy was leaning forward and cradling his head in his hands. They both nodded.

"So are you planning on telling us what happened?"

Beast Boy shook his head while Raven (is she smirking) offered up a sheepish

"We were playing tag."

Beast boy's head shot up, now a solid materialization of a tomato and looked at her in utter terror. Robin's grip on his cup tightened as did every muscle in his body.

"What"

He growled under his breath. Raven felt something skip in her chest before continuing on. Not the time for humor, not that she knew how to wield it particularly well. (Who is she kidding, yes she does).

"Look I'm sorry things got out of hand earlier, but we both just needed to burn off some excess energy before we could uh… get back to normal. We both went far out of jump and far away from any…cough… others."

Beast Boy looked like he was trying to dunk his head through his palms, like Narcissus when he was drowning himself in the water. If only he could disappear into the ocean right now. He felt like he was going to throw up.

Sneaking a quick glance at the shapeshifter Robin pulled his shoulders back and glared down at the two of them with disdain.

"Don't offer me these half assed explanations like I'm just suppose to ignore the very worrying scene I witnessed today. What is causing these sides of you to wake up. Is this becoming a pattern? Something is going on here that you're both not telling me. We can't continue to operate with this as if it's just some kind of new normal"

The accused sat in complete silence.

"Certain as the sun, rising in the east… tale as old as….OW"

Cyborg rubbed his head staring down at Robin's maroon coffee mug now smugly nestled into the floor beside him.

Glancing back at the two on the couch, the Boy Wonder noticed Raven was leaning fully into the back of the couch and tugging her cloak as close to her face as possible. Beast Boy let out a low groan. Robin was suddenly hit with an image from when Elasti-Girl was leaving the tower after their recent visit.

"Don't be too upset Robin, people do crazy things when they're in love."

He thought she had meant Mento.

The tension in his shoulder eased and as soon as his palm smacked into his forehead, he could hear traces of Starfire's laughter hidden under Cyborg's guffaws.

"Oh my god…you guys… I'm sorry I didn't… I didn't realize…uh"

"Oh Rob man you're KILLING THEM"

"Can we go now?!"

Beast Boy jumped up and power walked to the door followed by a floating Raven.

"We…we will still have to do an actual meeting about this at some point!" His cheeks were flushed but he prayed his voice was laced with enough authority to be taken seriously.

Cyborg let out a soft chuckle as he waved at the pair rushing back to their personal abodes. He finished with an encore worthy

"Beaaaautttyyyy and the Beast"

But they didn't hear him. Once the door shut Beast Boy grabbed Raven by the wrist and pulled her into a soft kiss. Both still red from the interrogation, he broke and shot her a cocky grin.

"Could have been worse?" Scoffing at him she started heading down the corridor to her room. Glancing over her shoulder, one eyebrow raised slightly, she asked

"Are you coming?"
