Cp made a great land.

Also, dunno if it helps, but I listened to Clattanoia- the opening song for Overlord lol. the English version while writing this one

"Alright, now dont make any sudden movements you two, we dont want any reason for her to call her tribe."

If shes a real Urgal, like you say, she would probably fight her tribe first.

"A truth, yes, but I would prefer not to even give her the chance. I doubt she would be any help in a fight anyway, she is older for an Urgal. Now lets go, try not to drag that deer too much, no need to leave a scent trail."

It didnt take very long to return to the Urgal, maybe ten minutes max. It was just a small wooden hut. Outside I could make out a few wooden stands, some tubs, a couple metal tools. Maybe for tanning? There was also a faint light comming from the window I could see.

Arya put her hand up, slowing me down and stopping me from moving forward. Saphira settled down on the ground beside me, looking rather comfortable if not a tad tense.

I could understand that for sure. I only sat there, senses on overdrive and muscles tense. This was such a bad place for a meeting, an open clearing surrounded by dense trees and foliage. Basically an ambush point. Why did I need a saddle so badly! I should have just waited till Teirm!

My eyes kept scanning the area, but my ears were picking up some parts of the conversation.

"Not very impressive in size... How are there two... The deer better not be damaged... Quickly, your group is the only one that could help... Id rather not have the possibility of you being seen."

She seemed nice enough, if a bit ornery. We were given a gesture by Brom to bring forth the deer. I bent down, opening my jaw to pick up the deer-

Snap!

I spun my head to the noise so fast! How did I not notice this horrible smell? Was it because I thought the smell was just this Herdall? Stupid stupid stupid!

Mine Heart! Prepare your pointed stick!

I could feel her confusion, not hearing what I had. Saphira having heard it was also on her claws right away with a small growl escaping her.

What is it Silvren-

A loud horn cut through the night, followed by a second on the opposite end of the clearing. Oh fuck...

Then there were roars, many, from all around us. Urgal roars, but still, it was... Intimidating. Enough so that I let out a defiant roar in response. Hopefully scaring a couple.

We need to leave Arya! Now! I looked in her direction, the three two legs were moving back to back, preparing for a fight.

I could see Urgals slowly stepping out of the cover of darkness. Big, smelly, gray skinned, with two horns growing from the top of their heads. The only good thing I could see was that they didn't seem to be Kulk sized.

A few on the other side of my Rider from me roared and charged, sprinting at them.

I roared, crouching low and then jumping with all I had. I snapped my wings out, turning my jump into a glide. I flew over our group towards the charging Urgals. I could feel Aryas panic from me charging into danger, but I ignored it. I had to protect them.

As I was in my falling trajectory I swiped my claws at them. Finding out that my natural weapons were VERY deadly. The ease at which I tore all three of them in half with one swing was... a little disturbing. I roared with all my rage at the remaining Urgals.

Apparently they thought me a worthy challenge, for they roared back at me and charged.

I felt Arya step up beside me, heard her sword shink out its sheath. A determination filling her mind, before we proceeded to decimate the Urgals infront of us. I could hear Saphira's roar behind me, and the sounds of two leg combat behind me. Apparently Brom and Eragon decided to fight.

We need to get out of here! I said to Arya. There are too many of them! She slew another Urgal by putting her sword through his neck. Another comming up behind her. Get down! I said. She dropped to the ground as I swung my tail around, sending a flanking Urgal flying. Brom! We need some space! Lets fly out of here! I broadcast to everyone, slicing another Urgal diagonally.

"Ill get us some time!" Eragon yelled. I heard Brom protesting, but couldnt really focus on them, to invested in protecting my partners back.

There was a yell from the male Rider, and a large blue flash of light and heat. I heard Saphira roar again, in.. panic, I think.

Taking a moment to look back, Eragon was pass out on the ground, six Urgal bodies scorched and strewn around him. Fuck...

Strap him to Saphira and lets get the hell out of here! I yelled as Arya and me backed our way back to them. By the time I turned back around Eragon was on his back and Brom dealing with another Urgal.

I jumped in, decapitation the disgusting being. Get him out of here Saphira, Brom get on! Let's go Mine Heart!

Brom began to protest. "You arent big or old enough-"

I can do it! Hurry up old man!

He looked reluctant and began to hop in my saddle as Saphira took flight. Arya helping me take care of the last close enemies before hopping on and letting me take to the air.

I didnt expect a small thing old man to add so much weight but.. Damn! this is rediculous!

Straininf with effort i managed to get out of there. Leaving a large amount of Urgala roaring in anger at their prey getting away.

Arya seemed to notice the effort flying needed, for she sent me some of her energy. Are you sure you can do this?

I must. I said. Following after Saphira, heading into the night sky, the full moon following our path.

About a league away, a large portion of the Spine burst into flames.
