Bella punches Jacob, Carlisle saves her
"Damn it!" I yell as I feel the pain shot through my arm.
"Bella?" Jakob asks worriedly and I shake my head and start walking towards the border. "Bella!" He yells and grabs my arm, pulling me tightly against him and kissing me again. I struggle to get free but he just gets more mad and moves his hand in under my shirt and then I see a white hand grab his neck and throw him away from me. I suddenly find myself in a pair of cold, white arms and relax relieved.
"Are you hurt, Bella?" Carlisle asks worriedly and I shake my head distantly. Suddenly I hear a lot of growls and I realise we are still in La Push. "Bella sweetheart, you need to get away from me." Carlisle says as he lets go of me slowly, gently and watches the pack closely. I shake my head and cling to him. "Bella, I broke the treaty." He says to me gently and I nod and then I let go of him, just a little and move until I'm behind his back. I wrap my arms around his neck and jump up so I cling to his back with my legs around his waist and arms around his neck.
"Bella." I hear Sam's ordering voice somewhere in front of us and when I look up from Carlisle's back I see that he has changed back. "He broke the treaty." Sam says and I hold on tighter to Carlisle.
"He wouldn't have had if Jakob didn't try to rape me." I say weakly and Sam turns his hard gaze towards Jake, who is still in human form.
"Change!" He orders and they both change quickly. Sam starts circling Jakob threatening and Jakob cowers in the middle as he whines. Two of the other wolves push Jakob into the woods and Sam changes in the woods and comes back with a new pair of shorts on.
"I will let this pass since Jakob attacked one in your family first. I understand if you see the treaty as broken but we wish to have it still working." Sam says to Carlisle and then he looks at me. "We will take care of Jakob, he will not bother you again Bella. I'm sorry he did that." He says and I nod to him and cling tighter to Carlisle.
"We see the treaty as still in effect. We will leave now." Carlisle says as he starts backing towards the border slowly. The wolves follow us with their gaze and as soon as we are over the border Carlisle starts running quickly, holding one hand on mine so I wont lose my grip. After a few seconds he walks in through the door and Edward is quickly there, helping me off Carlisle's back.
"Love, what happened? Are you hurt?" He asks desperately as he looks me over for injuries. I just embrace him hard and start sobbing into his chest. He rubs my back comforting and moves me over to the couch so I sit in his lap.
"Carlisle? What happened?" Esme asks gently and I look up to see Carlisle looking as if he is in shock, frozen in the middle of the room and Esme gently caressing his cheek.
"The pack…" I start weakly and then I take a deep breath. "Jakob tried to rape me but somehow Carlisle got there in time but he passed the boarder. I clinged to him and explained to Sam what Jakob tried to do. They let it pass this time since Jakob attacked me before Carlisle crossed the border." I whisper. They are all growling and Carlisle and Esme is hugging each other desperately. I cuddle closer to Edward and he holds me protectively as he still growls slightly.
"Did he hurt you?" He asks and I shake my head and he stops growling.
"I will kill him!" Emmet growls and I shake my head.
"Sam said he would take care of him." I say and he growls but nods. Carlisle pulls Esme with him towards us and hugs me gently.
"Thank you, sweetheart." Esme sobs when I hug her and I shake my head.
"Carlisle saved me first." I say and Carlisle hugs me again and kisses my forehead.
"Carlisle?" Edward asks and we look at him. "How did you know Bella was in danger?" He asks and Carlisle takes a deep breath.
"I was hunting and got pretty close to the border and then I heard Bella struggling. My instincts were in complete overdrive so I didn't even think I just ran to her and helped her. Then we were surrounded by the pack and I realised that I passed the border, it was completely worth it though. I tried to get Bella away from me but she wouldn't let me go since she knew they would kill me if she was out of harm's way." Carlisle says and looks fondly at me. "Thank you, sweetheart." He says and I smile slightly to him and press his hand. He relaxes slightly and gets up on his feet again and walks to stand in front of everyone again.
"I have been meaning to bring this up for a while but it has never seemed like a good time… there isn't now either but it is becoming rather urgent." He says and everyone nods for him to continue. "We need to move. I have had some humans asking me about how I look so young and Edward has told me people have been thinking a lot about our unchanging appearances." He says and then he looks at me. "But we wish you to come with us this time, Bella. We would never want to leave you." He says and I nod.
"There is one more problem…" Edward begins and everyone looks questioning at him and nods. "I think we need to leave before graduation, preferably as soon as possible since I have heard some thinking about testing Carlisle's blood through gently bumping into him with a needle and so on…" He says and everyone nods and looks at me.
"Just come up with a plan." I say and shrug as I hug Edward closer.
"Bella, there are two ways this can go… either we fake your death now so we don't have to worry about it now or you and Edward elope and get married." Alice says and Edward looks at me with gleaming eyes and stands up with me in his arms and then he puts me down on his feet and disappears.
"What-?" I get interrupted by Edward suddenly being on one knee in front of me, holding a small blue box with a stunning ring.
"Isabella Marie Swan, would you make me the happiest being in the world and do me the honor of being my wife?" He asks and I look shocked at him.
"This isn't just because of a cover up plan?" I ask hesitantly. Edward glares at me and I smile slightly at him. "Yes, I'll be your wife Edward." I whisper and he beams at me and puts the ring on me gently and then he kisses me hard as he holds me tight against him.
"I love you, fiancee." He whispers and I smile at him and peck his lips quickly.
"I love you too, fiance." I whisper back and he lifts me up in his arms and sits down with me in his lap.
