Chapter 16 Collapse:
Well now it's time to face Phantom. I'm gonna give him a couple new pokemon in this story as we only saw Pinsir, Parasect, and Chatot (who decided to go with Jackie when the Sea Temple flooded). So, it's entirely possible he had more Pokemon that weren't shown in the 9th movie. Being a pirate, he had to have some water ones I think so I'll give some others.
"Prepare for trouble
And Make it Double
To Protect the World from Devastation-
"Shut up! I'm not the type of man to waste time on a lame motto!" Phantom yelled at Jessie and James.
The od pirate turned to Ash and his friends, though the only one that mattered to him was Ash, as the boy had been the one to take Manapy from him.
"Well, boy… been a long time. Good to see you and your girlfriend again!" Phantom grinned.
Ash narrowed his eyes. "Girlfriend? You mean May?"
"I'm not his girlfriend!" May exclaimed with a heavy blush.
"But you wish you were!" Max teased his sister.
"Max, I don't think now is the best time to tease your sister!" Misty said.
"You two aren't a couple huh? Hmm… well it makes no difference to me boy! You two and that damn Pokemon Ranger were the ones that mainly got in my way when I tried to take the Sea Crown!"
Ash frowned deeply as the last two times they'd run into Team Rocket recently. "Hey May. I want you to stay behind me. I don't want you getting hurt again."
"Umm… okay," May said as she did what her old mentor told her.
Her face held a nervous expression, but her heart gave a small smile because he was saying he wanted to protect her. May had faith in Ash. He was always there for her whenever she was in danger. But… she had to support him as well. She couldn't just stand by and let him fight alone.
Misty gritted her teeth. "What? You want to protect her but not me!"
"Hey, she was the one that got taken hostage and poisoned the last two times!" Ash shouted. "But yeah, I'll protect you too! And Dawn and Max as well."
"Aww… you're quite the noble type of man, aren't you?" Phantom said. "Afraid I'm not though! Parasect go!"
"Parasect!" the Mushroom Pokemon stepped forward.
Parasect huh? Ash thought. In that case.
"Charizard! Go!" Ash said as he threw his pokeball that he'd had in bed along with the other chosen guardians.
His pokeball opened and Charizard emerged.
"Rarr!" it growled.
"Hmm." Phantom hadn't expected a powerful pokemon like that. But even the strongest pokemon would be powerless if put to sleep. "Spore Parasect!"
"Sect." The orange pokemon let out a spore from its large Mushroom back to put Charizard and the others to sleep like it had with Officer Jenny and her deputies.
"Charizard flap your wings and send that spore back!" Ash said.
"Rarr!" Charizard flapped his wings, sending a powerful whirlwind that sent the spore back at its user.
Parasect was hit with its own spore attack and fell asleep. Phantom was fortunately (for himself at least) out of range. The pirate grunted.
"You useless mushroom insect!"
He pulled out Parasect's pokeball and returned it.
"Shall we assist you sir?" one of the Team Rocket grunts asked.
"No! I don't need your help! I have a score to settle with this boy!" Phantom roared.
Delia, Norman and Caroline all arrived downstairs.
"Mimey!" Delia screamed in worry at the sight of her captured pokemon.
Norman wanted to send Slaking out to help, as did Misty, May and the others with their pokemon. But there wasn't enough room in the house for too many pokemon. If they were to unleash attacks in here…
"Charizard quick, free Pikachu and the others!" Ash ordered.
"No wait Ash!" Misty tried to say.
Charizard nodded and instinctively flapped his wings to go to the rescue… only to end up banging his head on the ceiling! The house wasn't large enough for him to fly freely in. The distraction gave Phantom the chance to call a new Pokemon.
"Feralligator go!"
The large blue alligator-like pokemon appeared.
"Feralligator!" it said.
"I didn't know he had a Feralligator!" Max said.
"When you work as a pirate you have to have a water pokemon or two! Though I like bug Pokemon as well!" Phantom said.
"Eww!" Misty exclaimed with a shiver. "Ash defeat him before he sends those out!"
"Ferralligator, take down that Charizard with Hydro Pump! No wait! Use hyper beam on them!" Phantom said pointing at Ash and his friends.
They all shivered in fear. Hyperbeam would really hurt them!
"Mime!" Mr. Mime shouted.
Then the Team Rocket grunts holding it and Brock were suddenly lifted into the air, and thrown back against Jessie and James. Mr. Mime then rushed toward Ash as Ferralligator charged its Hyper Beam!
"Mimey!"
"Mr. Mime!"
The clownlike Pokemon put its hands out in front. The hands glowed and a bright glowing mirror appeared as used its Reflect ability. In that instant Phantoms Ferralligator unleashed its Hyper Beam. It hit the Reflect, creating a bright blinding light and explosion. Ash, May, and all the others shielded themselves with their arms. Norman held Caroline protectively.
"Guys!" Brock shouted as he was out of range.
The explosion cleared, and everything had gone black. The explosion had created a large hole in the Ketchum residence and cut the power.
"No! Our house!" Delia exclaimed.
Everyone gasped at the massive hole. Then the house began to shake. It was collapsing!
"We got to get out of here!" Ash said.
He and his friends and the three parents all ran for the hole in the wall. Brock managed to run before he could be recaptured. Phantom, Jessie, James, Meowth and the dozen Team Rocket grunts went back through the door that the pirate had broken down. Just in time too. Because the house went all the way down as the last member got out.
"No!" Delia said with teary eyes.
Ash stood in the backyard with wide eyes and open mouth. All friends had similar expressions and looked at him sadly.
"Pika-pi."
"Rar!"
Charizard and Pikachu made their own sad expressions as they saw Ash's home reduced to rubble. Then Ash clenched a fist.
"No one messes with my home! Or my friends and family!" he shouted. "Everyone come out!"
He threw all his pokeballs into the air. From the remaining four, Sceptile, Snorlax, Tauros, and Donphan all emerged from them.
"Find Phantom and Team Rocket!" Ash yelled. "They'll pay for this!"
Everyone was scared by Ash's fury… but couldn't really blame him.
"We're not going going anywhere boy!" Phantom's voice called as he walked around the side of the house he'd just destroyed, followed by all his accomplices.
Everyone else drew their pokeballs. Now that they were in open space, they could all use their pokemon. Time for a big battle! But would they win? Ash, May, Brock, Misty, Max, Dawn, and Norman. That made a total of six trainers and a Gym Leader there. But Phantom had the aide of Jessie, James, and Meowth as well as a dozen other grunts of Team Rocket! More than twice what the good guys had! This would not be easy.
