Chapter 17 Rocket Hypnosis
All of Ash's pokemon were now out of their Pokeballs. He glared at Phantom as the pirate stopped at the sight of all the pokemon.
"Uh-oh! Looks like we made the twerp mad!" James said.
"We can still beat him!" Jessie stated. "We never give up!"
"We might wanna rethink that!" Meowth said as he looked at all of Ash's powerful pokemon.
"Well, going to use the big guns now huh kid?" Phantom asked. Well two can play at that game! Go!"
He threw his four remaining of his pokeballs into the air. He had lost his Chatot to that insolent Pokemon Ranger Jackie. But he had a couple more pokemon in reserve. His Parasect (still sleeping), Pinsir, Armaldo, Pelliper, and Seelio joined Feralligator.
Ash didn't reply. "Charizard, flamethrower, Pikachu Thunderbolt, Snorlax Hyperbeam, Sceptile Solarbeam, Donphan rollout, and Taurus Tackle!"
Phantom gritted his teeth and kicked Parasect. "Wake up and use Solarbeam! The rest of you use your strongest attacks! Go!"
Pinsir and Armaldo fired hyperbeams, Pelliper and Feralligator both used hydro pump, and Seelio blizzard. They met the attacks of Ash's pokemon. Ash's Taurus and Donphan were stopped by the hyper beam and ice beam from Armaldo and Seelio respectively while Feralligator blocked Charizards flamethrower, only to be hit with Pikachu's thunderbolt. Pinsir and Snorlax exchanged Hyperbeams. Sceptile met Pellipers hydro pump with its solar beam.
A massive explosion covered the area as both Ash and Phantom unleashed their wraths. The smoke soon cleared and the two were still facing each other. The moment had been so instense, the other trainers on both sides had forgotten to throw their pokeballs. A six on five battle with all of the pokemon out at once was quite a spectacle.

Giovanni had to agree to that as he watched from high above in the safety of his private helicopter. In the copter with him were Double O-Nine, as well as Butch and Cassidy. His highest ranked agents were ready to put in motion the next part of his plan.
"Are you ready?" he asked.
"Yes boss!" Butch and Cassidy said.
"Yes sir," Double O-Nine said as she held her signature black tulip.
"Bring us down," Giovanni told the pilot.
They descended toward the now ruined house of Ash Ketchum where the battle was still going on. Giovanni knew that despite the fact they held the numbers advantage, his men would not be able to defeat Ash and his friends. They all held powerful pokemon, and Team Rocket for the most part specialized in the use of Poison pokemon. Still they would serve as a distraction while Giovanni set in motion his real plan to capture Ash Ketchum.

May watched the massive exchange of attacks between Ash and Phantom. But after it was done, the Team Rocket grunts and the regular Team Rocket members stepped forward. They'd initially been scared by the sight of all Ash's pokemon… and who could blame them as he had some powerful pokemon like Charizard and Sceptile. What did they have, Golbats and Koffins like the ones she'd run into?
"Go Zubat!" both grunts shouted.
A pair of batlike pokemon appeared. May would have laughed. Did they actually expect to defeat a top coordinator with those?
"Mareep, Wartortle I choose you!" May threw her pokeballs.
The electric sheep pokemon she'd caught in Johto, and the blue turtle pokemon she'd gotten her two years ago appeared.
"Reep!"
"Thunershock Mareep! And Wartortle Ice Beam" May ordered.
"Dodge it!" the grunts ordered.
"Reep!"
"Wartotle!"
Yellow electricity and a cold blue beam shot at the Zubat who both dodged the attacks that would have done great damage if not one-hit-coed them. May cast a glance around her for a split second, seeing the other grunts and Jessie, James and Meowth were all joining the battle. Jessie's Seviper and a dragonfly-like Pokemon faced Misty's Gyarados and Starmie, along with a grunts Nidorino and Nidorina set! Misty had to take four on two! James' Carnivine and another pokemon went up against Brock's Chansey, Meowth faced Max's Ralts, and her father and Dawn faced two grunts each.
Then May heard a sound. A helicopter, getting close! She looked up and saw its lights, it was right above them!
"Don't tell me that's more rockets!" May said.
Sure enough the chopper stopped above them, all the battles halted and the choppers doors opened. Gionanni stood there looking down at them.
"What are you doing here?" Phantom asked.
"Hello Ash Ketchum," Giovanni said.
"Giovanni," Ash snarled.
"Sorry about your house. I'm sure I can buy you a new one… if you swear loyalty to me," Giovanni said with a smile that showed he wasn't really sorry at all.
"I'd never work for Team Rocket!" Ash shouted up at him.
"None of us would!" Misty agreed.
"Yeah… Pokemon are our friends!" May said.
"Tsk, tsk. You all have such remarkable skills… Gym Leaders, Trainers and Coordinators that have made it to high places in the major events across several regions. You could accomplish much… and have more power than you ever dreamed of. What I offer you is this. A chance to rule the world! You would be wealthy and everyone would know your strength! As I recall you want to become the greatest Pokemon Master in the World correct Ash?"
"Yes," Ash admitted. "But I'd never use Pokemon to hurt anyone! I'd be the worst Pokemon Master than!"
Giovanni's smile faltered. "It seems you will not be persuaded. Very well then."
"I'll crush him!" Phantom said.
"No Phantom, I have a better solution," Giovanni said. "Butch? Cassidy? Your Hypno?"
"Right away!" Butch said as he pulled out a Pokeball. "Hyno go!"
He threw the pokeball out the copter and from it emerged a Hypno. A large yellow pokemon with a hypnotic pendulum in its hand. It was the Drowzee that had helped Butch and Cassidy take control of multiple pokemon in the orange islands. But it had a device on its arm that carried the pendulum, a device that boosted its abilities.
"Put them under the bosses control Hypnosis!" Butch ordered.
"Hyno! Hyno! Hypno!" It chanted while swinging its pendulum.
Psychic waves made their way down to backyard of the Ketchum residence, unlike when it was a Drowzee in the Orange Islands, its hypnotic abilities allowed it to control both people and Pokemon. And with the technology Team Rocket had developed in the last four years, it was able to achieve the same result with a smaller device. It wasn't quite on the scale as the big machine but it was enough for a backyard. Ash, May, all their pokemon, friends and family… as well as the allies of Team Rocket were put under Hypno's control.
"Report to Team Rocket Headquarters!" Giovanni ordered.
"Yes, Master Giovanni!" they said as one.
Jessie, James, Meowth, Ash, May, Misty, Brock, Norman, Delia… everyone… began to move. Giovanni called a few more choppers and they picked up all of them before taking off to their destination.
Uh-oh! Giovanni's got them! He's got them all! Except for… Professor Oak and Tracy? Will those two be able to rescue everyone? What will Giovanni make them do, and will they be hurt? Just wait and see. Another chapter should be coming out next week. Then I will be skipping for Christmas the week after. Also, I may start working on some other stories as well… so it might rotate a bit. If anyone is a Naruto fan you might like that story too if I get around to it. I was a bit inspired by a Narusaku story that had Sakura start loving Naruto early on, so I have an urge to do something like that.
