I don't own Naruto and all the good stuff.
Um, this is angst I suppose? Rating about be K, there's nothing bad in it. Only warning is slash, want to flame me because of it?
Go right on ahead! I'm built like a troll and I eat flames for lunch.
No more chapters other than this, unless I magically get some inspiration.
Umumumum I think I cleared everything, if not, screw that.

START

Umino Iruka had a mission.

He was going to be bold, he wasn't going to back down and be his scared little self. He had proven those rumors of his weakness true so far, but while he lacked physical strength and the sheer damn luck to be a good ninja, he wasn't going to support the countless whispers that spoke of a weak spirit.

The school teacher's mind was beyond the bustle of the small town, beyond the usual sounds and events of the village, it was only settled on famous copy-nin that… was very hard to find.

"IRUKA-SENSEI!" came an all too familiar yell. Stopping quickly, he turned back to see Naruto run towards him, the usual large grin on his face. "Let's go out for ramen, yeah?"

"Sorry Naruto, I'm busy," he said with a large grin. God, this feeling was too unrealistic, the whole floating sensation.

"Awwwww."

"Maybe later. Oh, and, have you seen Kakashi-san anywhere?"

"Yeah! I saw him at the bookstore."

With that Iruka was off, a trail of dust behind him. Naruto watched, wide-eyed as his normally reserved teacher danced along the village at such a fast speed.

The schoolteacher, after dancing through half the town and being greeted by at least twenty people, was finally at the front of the store. Peering into the large stall curiously, he could see him, Kakashi. His heart felt like it was going to tear through his chest. Gathering up the last of this sudden burst of insanity, he took a deep breath in and charged right into the store, getting even more stares.

"KAKASHI-SAN."

The white-haired shinobi raised an eyebrow as he looked up from the book he was reading, "Um, yes?"

"I… I… I'm sorry if this is really random, but, I was wondering if you'd go on a date with me," he asked, his confidence suddenly gone as his heart began to beat fast. Chocolate eyes looked with desperation to try and read Kakashi's thought.

"Eh, sorry Iruka-sensei, but no," answered Kakashi, his voice as cool as ever. He went up to the cash register, paid for his book, and left swiftly. He left Iruka behind, not even giving him a look.

THE END

I felt like an angst, so stfu.
