Ch 11: One Last Selfish Affair

Tortus Heilligh Kingdom, Capital City Royal Palace, Guest/Hajime's room September 8th, 3:15 pm Hajime and Zelretch pov

If there's one thing Shiro never expected in being summoned by his master, comrade, friend, and soon-to-be kouhai to an unknown world that's still in the age of gods. It would be standing face to face to his with the two infront of him. It would've been one thing if the two infront of him were either Ishtar, Ereshkigal, Parvati, BB, or hell even Kama. But for the life of him, he can not mistake the two infront of him were pseudo servants he's used to seeing back in Chaldea and had relationships with. No these two were the genuine Rin and Sakura he used to know all those centuries ago. His former master, lover, and kouhai before being summoned by his new master Gudako and being a part of Chaldea alongside her brother Gudao and 3rd master Hajime. However is then after a few seconds of complete Silice that Rin, Sakura, and Shiro heard Hajime speak up.

Hajime "As you can see Shiro, we have some unexpected guests at the moment. Two of which are more familiar I'm sure. Since that is the case as the three of you are just staring at each other like deers caught in headlights. Why don't you take both Tohsaka-san and Matou-san around the capital city for a few hours? I'm sure you can muti tasking in mapping out the city and entertaining your former 5th holy grail war master and your former kouhai." he says to them in an honest but informing voice

At his words, all three snap out of the disbelief and slight denial trace and look towards Hajime. Who like Zelretch next to him has a slightly amused but cheerful grin on his face. Shiro hearing his comrade and master requesting him to essentially keep Rin and Sakura occupied for a few hours by his lonesome. He speaks up after heaving a reluctant but slightly tired sigh in defeat.

Emiya "If that is what you ask of me Hajime, I'm sure I can manage somehow." he says to him back in a respectful but honest voice

Hajime "I have the utmost faith in you. Who knows maybe you guys might even enjoy the experience in strolling around the capital," he says to him in an honest voice

Emiya "Then might as well be on our way then." he says to him in an infroming voice

As his words both Sakura and Rin watched in silence as both Shiro and Hajime interacted with one another. However, they did notice that the both of them know each other in some shape or former from how causally they spoke with one another and having smiles on their faces. But it was then while having slightly mixed feelings at the moment about possibly Hajime having a better relationship with their Shiro. They felt something grab them by the waist and without a moment to collect their thoughts.

Rin "Wait..." she tries to say to Shiro in a flustered and panicked voice

Sakura "Hold…" she also tries to say something to Shiro in a slight flustered and panicked voice

However, they could get out their words in time as Shiro grabbed both of them by the waist and bolted out through the balcony door. And proceeded to jump into the air and ran across the rooftop to rooftop to get away from the royal castle at high speeds.

Hajime and Zelretch seeing Emiya disappear from their sights along with Sakura and Rin. Both turn towards each other with an amused grin before each returned to their respectful but professional expressions

Zelretch "Now that they're gone and won't be seeing them for a couple of hours. Shall we move to the topic of most importance ?" he asks him in a respectful but professional voice

Hajime "I suppose so, so do you wish something to drink while we discuss?" he asks him in a questioning but respectful voice

As he goes to the closet to get one of the various wine bottles he still has alongside to glasses.

Zelretch "I don't mind if your offering. Well since I know you don't beat around the bush as much as I do. I'll get straight to the point" He says to him in a respectful voice as he accepts one of the wine glasses

Hajime "Go on," he says to him in a professional voice as he pours a custom wine to fill Zelretch glass.

Zelretch "Not going to lie but all things considered, it could have been worse. Though it doesn't make your guy's situation any better" He says to him in an honest but professional voice

Hajime "Oh is that so? well then what's the verdict that you and the Magus Association came to about us?" he asks him in a slight honest but professional voice

Zelretch "Well for one should anyone here ever return. They would have a sealing designation marked on them. Two should they fall to comply and surrender to the association then they're free game to anyone. So at least it's not killed on sight. Still bad though" he says to him in an informing voice

Hajime " Could've been worse although, that doesn't mean it's going to stop a more desperate and inhuman magus in trying to capture one of my classmates should they ever return. So what about their families?" he says to him in an honest but respectful voice

Zelretch "Ah well sorry to say but they'll have to be disposed of should any of your classmates ever return. Apprealty it's for research and studying purposes since they think their families would come into contact and interact with your classmates. They might get something from just being exposed to their sons or daughters after returning from this world. Apparently, they would be valued high materials to be procured." he says to him in an indifferent but honest voice

Hajime "Ah well I'm not surprised one bit they would think that. So then what about me and my family since I'm sure it came up in the heated discussion the meeting?" he asks him in an honest but professional voice

Zelretch "That you did. So like my apprentice mentioned but I did tell them that you were an informant of mine within Japan. As well gave your name out to everyone there along with you being a spellcaster. And that you were the only one within your family who actually knew about the moonlit world while your father and mother remained unawares. So that would technically by all accounts make you this first generation of your family." he says to him in an honest voice

Hajime "Is that so? Well your not wrong about that although since I am by all accounts. The first generation of my family lineage it would be up to me in getting the ball rolling. Such a pain," he says to him in an honest voice

Hajime "So then you still haven't answered the question," he says to him in an honest but respectful voice

Zelretch "I was getting to that. Not surprisingly almost half of the Magus association wished to make you out as the culprit. Even though I said you were just a spellcaster. However, thanks to our resident vampire hunter along with a few others including my apprentice and her supposed biological sister. A compromise was achieved." he says to him in an informing voice

Zelretch "As such should you find a way to return yourself. Your parents would be spared from the fate of being lab rats. In exchange, you would have to be a part of the magus association as a family head to complete your training into a proper magus. Along with being slapped with a sealing designation and every once in a while be subject to non-threatening experimentation in drawing out fresh research materials from you." he says to him in an informing but respectful voice

As soon the words left Zelretch's mouth about his and his family's fate should he ever return. His expression turns to that of a cold and uncaring one. As releasing as much bloodlust as he could which filled the entire room. Which double as his feelings of anger and rage. Though Zelretch merely raised an eyebrow at the sudden bloodlust within the room while still taking a sip from his wine glass. However, he stared back at Hajime's currently cold and uncaring expression with one filled with slight amusement and seriousness. However, after a few moments passed the bloodlust within the air subsided and returned to its natural state.

Hajime "My apologies kaleidoscope, it seems my emotions have gotten the better of me." he says to him in apologetics but respectful voice

Zelretch "Don't worry about it, 3rd master. It was bound to happen so I sympathize with your current situation. After all, I do know why you are so upset at the association and maybe even the U.N. My other self from that timeline did explain everything. That being said it's safe to say you aren't going to cooperate with the association's demands." he says to him in an informing but understanding voice

Hajime "Ah that's right. Though it's best you report back saying I understand my situation and I'll cooperate with the association in any way possible. Though that won't mean much, later on, should I find a way out of this world. After all, I have the means to oppose the association considering everyone here is using actual magic like it's nothing." he says to him in a conforming but honest voice

Zelretch "Oh? Well then I'm honestly looking forward to your inevitable return back home," he says to him in a pleased and honest voice

Hajime "You actually believe I can return back home?" he says to him in questioning but respectful voice

Zelretch "I do. It doesn't matter if you do it in a few days time to even a century. You'll find a way to return back home compared to everything you've gone through. This entire situation to you should be child's play. There aren't even real gods or goddesses within this place. Well at least within tortus that is. The question is how quick is it that you can return and will you even be a human once you do." he says to him in an informing and honest voice with a slightly amused smile on his face

Hajime "That's the question isn't it? I'll be sure to finish up writing down what I need you to bring back here. After all, I spent more than enough time within this room looking for a few things. After that I'm sure you wish to see sights as well." he says to him in an informing but respectful voice

All he sees is Zelretch give him with a slight grin for his confirmation as he continues to sip his wine from his glass. From there he sets down his own wine glass before heading towards one of his bed stools. Where an open notepad having a few things written down within it. However, a single thought goes through his mind as he begins to write an extra few things on it.

Hajime (So then...there are other continents within this world. That's good to know since as far the natives within Tortus is concerned. This continent is the only thing they know and haven't made any expeditions out to see. At least that's what everything I read entails at least. It's good to know I have another escape option to me should things go south or I need to disappear.) he says to himself mentally in a calm but serious voice

Heiligh Kingdom's Capital city, Market Area random street, September 8th, 4 pm multi pov

It didn't take much time for him to leave the palace behind him. Of course, he made sure no one notices him carrying the two beside him. Who were current for the past 40 minutes or so just been going around from vendor to vendor looking through the various wears, foods, accessories, potions, magical items, weapons, and various suits of armors.

Though he always intervened since for some reason both Rina and Sakura couldn't read or understand the language here. Unlike himself who was able to understand it. So if there was something that they wanted he would always step up and speak for the both of them. To which the two of them had bought quite a few things by now since he was reduced to a translator and bag carrier. It was like olds times before he made the contract with Alaya. Though he always made sure to be on high alert since he and the two in question looked vastly different compared to everyone here.

Which was understandable since the three of them were from Japan. It also didn't help that Hajime or his class of naive heroes had left the confines of the palace grounds. At least that's what Hajime had told him via telepathic messages between each other. However, a slight smile did appear on his face as he sees the two smile and talks with each other like the sisters they truly were.

However, after spotting to rest by a bench somewhere away from the crowded streets of passing carriages and people walking through. The topic the three of them were avoiding was finally brought up

Rin "Hey Shiro, how is it that you know Nagumo-san? And why is it that they both of you looked like you enjoyed each other's company?" she says to him in an honest but questioning voice

Shiro "I discarded that name long ago Rin, I would go by EMIYA or simply archer. Though I guess for old times sake I'll allow myself to be called by that name. As for how I know Hajime well a lot of things happened that I wouldn't have enough to explain or rather be allowed to explain. Since our world may or may not follow that exact same timeline. Though I'm hoping that just my paranoia speaking" he says to them in an honest but infroming voice

Shiro "But to sum up, he would be the fourth master I had the pleasure of knowing along with the second and third masters. Who I also had the pleasure of knowing as well. Not going to lie to you Rin but Hajime along with the second and third masters were the best masters I'll probably ever have. Even if for a time where they all were novices compared to you." he says to them in an honest but informing voice with a smile on his face

Sakura "That's a bold claim your making senpai. You're making my sister jealous. Though from the sound of things you make seem that you've known Nagumo-san, along with supposed 2nd and 3rd masters for quite a while." she says to him in an honest but curious voice

Shiro "I did. I'm sure the kaleidoscope can explain to you but. Hajime-san is actually a year younger than Rin and the same age as you Sakura. Even though he looks like that, the things he and the 2nd and 3rd masters accomplished and went through have no doubt. Have earned them within the Throne of Heroes for the seven years I've had the pleasure of knowing them. Though I wish that all it was considering that Hajime did something stupid after myself along with a few others waring him. So now he's a future kouhai I'll have to, unfortunately, teach the ropes when his time comes to pass." he says to her along with Rin in an honest but slightly sadden voice

Sakura "Is that so? Well, I don't know how to feel knowing that my senpai is going to have another kouhai to look after." she says to him in slight amusement but understanding voice while having a smile on her face

Shiro "Just letting both of you know but he won't go down easily conceding how much training he went through from other servants. In fact, I'll simply say that if Hajime wanted to. He'd easily be a second or third Mage killer depending on who you ask." he says to them in an infroming but honest voice

Rin "I'll be sure to keep that in mind. I guess it's a good thing we've prevented him from being executed should he return." she says to him in an honest but intrigued voice

Sakura "Then shall we carry on with what we planned to do Rin?" she says to her in an honest but slightly amused voice

At her words, Shiro ends up hearing Rin cough a little trying to hide the slight blush on her face. So knowing what they meant Shiro heaves a sigh before speaking up

Shiro "What do you mean exactly. I'm assuming you have other plans in mind since it seems the both of you are done shopping," he says to them in a slight questioning voice already knowing the answer

Sakura "Ma you could say that. Though this is mostly an impromptu decision once we saw you back in Nagumo-san room." she says to him in an informing but honest voice while having a smile on her face.

Shiro "Ah I see. Well then I'm assuming you have a place in mind you all wish to go?" he says to them in an honest voice

Sakura "We thought we'd let you decided that. After all, you've been here longer than the both of us. So I'm sure you have a place in mind?" she says to him in a questioning but honest voice while still having a smile on her face.

Shiro "Are sure you guys wish to go through with it? I mean doesn't Rin have a husband already? Plus I'm sure you must be dating someone as well Sakura?" he says to them in questioning but an honest voice?

Rin "First off how is it that you know I have a husband? And second Sakura hasn't been seeing anyone at all once you've left us." she asks him in a slight surprise but a questioning voice

Shiro "Remember when I said that Hajime is going to be my future kouhai? Well the reason I know that you have a husband Rin, is because of him. After all, he was the last person I saw before I was sent towards the gallows. Though at the time I didn't know him. Though it seemed he knew of me fairly well and called me an idiot for leaving you and the people I care about behind. Though later on, I knew who he was afterward thankfully. As to why he was there, it seems Alaya sent him to retrieve Avolon from me before he left me to my fate." he says to them in an honest voice

Sakura "Is that so? I guess once everything is over we are going to need to have word with him before we leave don't we Nee-san?" she says to them in an honest but slightly cold voice

Rin "It seems we need to since there was a reason why I wished to get away from earth awhile. But well it's not like he had my heart completely since there was only one person who did." she says to her back in an honest but slightly warm voice

Shiro "I guess if that's your answer, I'll just need to say something to Hajime real quick. Before we go on whatever the two of having planned for me."

Seeing the both of them just nod in understanding he processed to contact Hajime

Shiro (Hey Hajime you there? I need to ask a favor of you real quick since it seems I'm not getting out of this one) he says telepathically via the connection they have as master and servant.

Hajime (Sure what is it you need? I've just finished up what I needed from the old man.) he asks back in questioning but honest voice

Shiro (Mind if I borrowed your room for a couple or so hours? It seems Rin and Sakura don't have much more money to spend since the bag you have us is almost out) he says to him telepathically in an honest but informing voice

Hajime (You mean one of the silver bags you stole? Well doesn't matter since they were your funds anyway for the day. Sure you can use it since you need to come down both Toshaka-san and Matou-san. So it anger or hate?) he says to him back telepathically in a knowing but sympathetic voice

Shiro (Most likely both...Also, watch out later on since Rin and Sakura want to have a word with you once we're done. It seems they aren't too happy at the moment at me knowing that Rin has a husband for some reason) he says back telepathically in a warning but infroming voice

Hajime (Just had to through me in the fire didn't you? Just make sure to make them so weak that they can't move. Just in case I need to escape when I speak to them) he says back telepathically in an honest but informing voice

Shiro (I'll make sure it happens. Though don't blame me if you still can't get away from them) he says back telepathically in an honest but sarcastic voice

Hajime (I'll make sure the room isn't a mess by the time the three of you get here. As well as making sure to put an obstruction and silence bounded field around the entire room. Just make sure you don't break the bed. I'll talk to you later EMIYA) he says to him in a kind but honest voice

Shiro (Later Hajime) he says back telepathically in an understanding but honest voice

After he was done he turns to face Rin and Sakura and speaks up

Shiro "Then shall we off then? After all it's literally a palace people around here wouldn't have a chance to enter. Best part it's free for us for the night if we so wished to stay." he says to them in an honest but infroming voice

Sakura "Sounds promising," she says back in an honest but slightly excited voice

Rin "So where are you taking us then?" she asks him in an honest but curious voice

All they get in response is Shiro grinning at them before they proceed to walk towards an empty alley. From there feel Shiro grabs both of them from the waist once more and hugs them tightly along with the various bags he's carrying. And proceeds to Jump towards one of the nearby roofs to hop across one by one in the direction of the Royal Palace.

Heilligh Kingdom Capital city, Royal Palace outside the massive Ballroom doors. September 8th 8 pm Liliana, Meld and Hajime pov

As the three simply awaited outside the doors that lead into the viper's den. To which the two most comfortable having already been inside said den for quite a while. Turned to face Hajime who was in a rather impressive outfit. That being a Blueish sliver long coat which has an unknown crest that only Hajime knows about(Chaldea Logo) with black gloves. Short sleeve white vest with a black long sleeve button-up shirt. White pants with a black belt with black suit shoes. His hair is combed back giving his hair a slightly spiky feel to it along with having his black glasses. Especially the two golden one-edged long swords that were sheathed to his right and left thighs.

However, the entire aura around Hajime was one that commanded respect and almost a regal feel to it. Which is something that both Meld and Liliana have slight questioning going through their minds as to why.

However, it was then that Meld finally spoke up before they go in. To meet with the various Nobles, Church officials, the Hoelscher Empire's Emperor, Prince and Princesses, Liliana's father and mother the King and Queen, and final the other apostles who were already inside.

Meld "So then ready to begin princess Liliana, Hajime-sama?" he asks them in questioning but respectful voice

Liliana "As always, how about you my escort for today Hajime-sama?" she asks Hajime in a composed but questioning voice

Hajime "Ready when you all are, let's make this entrance somewhat grand shall we," he says to them in a respectful but slightly amused voice

At his words, both Liliana and Meld have slightly amused grins of their own. At that, the door was finally opened for them revealing everyone in the room. However, as they stepped through the doors neither they nor everyone else within the room knew. That This would be Hajime's first and last time within the viper's den. Along with he would be a crucial part in the coming terror of saving the rest of the apostles.
