Ch 15: Momentary Respite

Also, it's been a while since I updated this story though hope you all had a merry Christmas and a happy new year. Decided to get this chapter out even it wasn't as long I wanted it to be. Or else this chapter may have become over 25k words at that point. As well because I may end up continuing writing chapters for other stories as well and leaving this chapter on the back burner a whole lot longer before I would get to it. As well as having a minor case or writer's block for this chapter and other stories as well. Anyhow, I hope I still did a decent job in writing this chapter out as well as I have done thus far.

It didn't surprise him all that much after his demonstration on Amanogawa yesterday. That everyone for the moment we're making sure they gave him a little space. It also didn't help that majority of the class sided with Amanogawa in regards of keep Nea away from me. But couldn't do anything about it considering that Meld was making sure Kouki kept his promise towards me in leaving me the fuck alone.
As well them probably thinking I would attack them as well suddenly as I did to the supposed hero and strongest of the group. Seeing as how nighter he nor his close friends or even their sensei for that matter is saying anything to him. They decided to not risk earning his supposed ire. What was he a rabid dog? But well as long it gave him some peace for the remainder of the trip then he was all for it in what they thought of him. But such is the life he supposes, but well since we couldn't go into Orcus at the moment because the stars were out.
Meld escorted all of us towards the Advaneturs guild so that each of us would be certified into going into the labyrinths as Adventures. As well the perks that came with being said adventurer such as having no borders you can't cross and such. As well being all to make our own income on the side should we choose too. Of course, being the typical adventurer style we did receive various looks from the hardened veterans and senpais around the guild as well. The ones at the bar as well. Of course, the majority of the class was intimidated but the sudden attention and pressures were directed at us.
Some probably wondering who we were, others wondering what country we come from considering all of us was unique being of Japanese descent unlike everyone else around here. Others sizing us up to whether or not we're up to their standards or the guild. Or perhaps like most being a little rowdy since both men and women have had a few drinks in them and started to call us out. By various sultry, flirtatious, or complementing yells wanting something in return.
Of course yet with all of that happing they're still were ordered within the guild itself as if they had discipline at least within the Guild itself. Though the ambient melody and music were enjoyable to listen to at the moment. Shame though we came at the end the young women's performance with the lyre as she ended and gave a bow. Which was brought with cheers and applause with how well she has done.
Seems she is a regular adventure around these parts and a fairly good one being sliver plate. The same could be said for the party she was with as well all being sliver plates. Anyhow once the receptionist Meld asked came back, she'd asked all of us to follow behind her towards one of the larger rooms so that she could explain to us in full detail what we were signing ourselves up for. The whole explanation as well as us getting registered as adventures were about 2 hours or so and since we're going head into Orcus early in the morning. We headed back towards our booked Inn and each got our rooms thanks to Meld paying for all of it. As such not wanting to be near any of my classmates any longer than usual I ordered Nea to follow me while saying goodbye to Aiko-sensei and headed up for the night.
The room itself was spacious enough for five people able to walk around the room with decent size beds able to fit two people each. As well as having a desk and chair with a magical lamp next to it. The bedsheets were simple blue and white with the pillows being white. As well as having a decent closet to put your extra luggage or gear inside. Such as the two duffel bags I have. Thus after locking the door and placing multiple boundary fields around the room for extra security. That he knows for sure all the adventures around here would understand what he did was magic. Or at least in their eyes an unknown version of it same could be said with Meld and the knights as well. Maybe after tomorrow the rest of his class will know he could use Magic as well. Or at least be able to sense him using it. Too bad they'd be wrong in that assumption considering it wasn't magic but magecraft. That despite being inferior to magic, at least within this world still in the age of gods. It's a tier below in power and strength that if he fought a mage here. He's pretty sure he'll be able to hold his own for just a bit before being overwhelmed and he'd have to use his other training in tandem with mage craft to beat said the mage.
Though he's pretty confident he'd be able to dominate any weaker mage than the mage instructor the kids had back in the Kingdom. Though seeing the last of the boundary fields were up Emiya materialized within the room startling Nea a bit as she let out a cute yelp of surprise.
Emiya "Ah my bad kid didn't mean to frighten you by doing that," he says to her in a slightly apologetic manner but still having a warm smile
Nea "Ah no my bad for being scarred easily Sir Emiya-san. It won't happen again" she simply says slightly scarred but having a warm smile
Emiya "Right then so Hajime though you are aware of the various exits should you need to use them. Everything at the moment seems to be relaxed a bit as much it can be in a town like this. Also, you don't need to worry about any of your classmates coming towards your room at least for tonight. Don't know about tomorrow though but what do you plan on doing. Since I doubt you'll want to leave the beastmen kid here alone?" he simply asks
Hajime "Ah yes that…I was planning on you honestly keeping an eye on her while we were within Orcus tomorrow. Considering I don't trust any of the less savory adventurers around here. In either doing something to our little Nea here or trying to steal her away from me even though I'm her master at the moment." he simply says
Emiya "That's fair I guess she did get a lot of unsavory stares throughout the town and within the adventures guild," he says understanding thinking back at the countless unnamed people
Hajime "She is, unfortunately, a rare beastmen to be around these parts. It also doesn't help that I look fairly young and naive to everyone around. I honestly bet that none of the less savory people here didn't try anything because of Meld and our escort detail. Along with us being in a big group. Though I'd expect sooner or later some of them would try to do something foolish" he says honestly
Emiya "True still though while you're in there make sure you watch your back Hajime. After all, a lot of unfortunate things could happen in there even if you're well guarded and protected," he says to him slightly serious
Hajime "Yeah I know, though worst-case scenario or If by chance I see an opening involving me not returning. I'd want you to take Nea here towards the Sea of trees and if you can to her tribe full haste. Along with my two duffle bags of course," he says bluntly while looking at him
Emiya "I'd honestly expect the second one to happen instead of the latter one. But yeah will do since I don't doubt one bit. However, just don't overdo it Hajime after all you're only human," he says to him seriously as well
Hajime "I know, but you know how our luck has always been. So I can't promise to not overdo it entirely. Especially when I'm forced into a corner with no option. But I'll certainly try" he simply says with a knowing smile
Emiya "I guess that's true in a sense, just make sure it doesn't involve having to sacrifice your life. I'd rather not have altered me, my alternate stepdad, kouhai, or the peacemaker and his dragon girl come after me should you suddenly become Alaya and Gaia's agent." he says with a sigh but also having a knowing smile as well
Hajime "Even I ain't that cruel of making you go through that Emiya, though it would bring me slight amusement in seeing it. Though I would love to chat more it seems that we have company this late in the evening" he simply says with slight amusement looking towards the door
Emiya "Shame, well I'll just make sure no one comes and tries to take the little brat away from us. So see what the paladin wants with you this evening" he simply says before dematerializing
It didn't take long after that all three of them heard a knock on the door and such he'd spoke up
Hajime "Who is it?" he asks though knowing who's on the other side
Meld "It's Meld, I was wondering since we didn't get a chase to have that drink early within the kingdom. I'd figured if you want to grab a quick drink a local bar within the adventures guild?" he hears him says in a questioning voice behind the door
Hajime "I did promise you to have that drink huh…I'm assuming the others are within their rooms yes? I'd rather not deal with the hassle as to why I'm with you privately. Considering they don't know the private conversations and banter we'd had within the royal library with Liliana-hime" he simply asks
Meld "Ah was just making the rounds since we're supposed to wake up early in the morning. You're the last room I'm checking up for the night before I was supposed to turn in. Though may as well though we'd have a nice late-night drink while telling our respective experiences. While we still can at least." he heard him says with slight honesty but respectfulness in his voice
Hajime "...just give me a few minutes of making sure Nea is sound asleep before I go. Since we never know the night may hold," he says back honestly with a slight smile on his face
Meld "Ok then, I'll wait for you on the bottom floor of the Inn. Make sure the child is also protected considering dubious characters do live around here." he hears him says in understanding but giving a subtle warning as well as he'd felt Meld leave down the hallway.
Hajime "All right then Nea-chan, I'd suggest you get to sleep since I doubt I'll be back here anytime soon if at all. I'd feel it's going to be a long night after all." he says her with a slight smile
Nea "Alright then mas…I mean Hajime, do you mind if I play cards with archer before I go to sleep," she asks in a meek voice with a slight hopeful eye
Hajime "I'm sure he wouldn't mind. Just make sure you don't go outside okay and if you need to use the restroom. Take Archer with you okay?" he asks her
Nea "Okay, have a nice night then," she says in understanding with a slight warm smile on her face with her rabbit ears flapping up and down in a happy manner
Hajime (How adorable…kind of almost makes me feel bad leaving her here.) he simply thinks to himself
Hajime "Good then I'll be off, make to lock up okay?" he simply says to her kindly
Nea "Will do," she says back honestly
At her words, He proceeds to head out though not before giving Emiya departing words as well once he rematerializes once more with some playing cards in hand. That he'd taken from one of the duffel bags to which Emiya does the same as he heads out the door and down the hallway towards the Lobby on the bottom floor to meet up with Meld
Horaud Town Adventures Counter Table Bar, September 10th, 11:20 pm Multi pov
It didn't take long to reunite with Meld as both made their way through the nightly lit streets of Horaud. Passing by various bars with people being merry and having a nice time. As well as a few nightly establishments that wanted both of us to partake in. Though very kindy we turned them doing in a manner that made them understand. All the while we made small talk to simply pass the time before arriving at the illuminated adventurers guild as well hearing the melodies and music being played within as other establishments did as well. And so we went in with the bouncers upfront if you can call them that let us pass through the doors.
At that, the loud noise of various adventurers being merry, having a discussion, or simply cheering at the group upstage putting up a good performance. As well the aroma of food and drink made its way towards our noses and ears as we made a be line towards two empty stools on the bar countertop. As we simply sat down looking towards the stage and seeing the group of four young to mature women most likely adventures judging from the attire and gear. Probably one of the higher-end ones as well considering some of the gear looks fairly expensive but well used. Such as their blades or Warhammer.
We also paid our greeted towards the adventures near us as well to which they did the same. Though the more experienced ones within the guild itself knew I wasn't the naive rich kid as I looked like at the moment. So after telling our order to one of the bar/Inn maidens running around the place of a simple meal. We ordered our drinks from the barkeeper who gave me an impressed look since I ordered something strong and heavy. Unlike the various wines, he had upon display with his alcohols. Since I order a mixed combination of them after I told him how the Negroni was made.
I simply told him he could use the recipe for himself if it turned out well. Turns out some of the adventurers nearby hearing the name of my drink out of curiosity ordered it as well to give it a try.
Of course as the slight upbeat but merry music played on within the background by the attractive but strong women on stage playing various instruments. Meld decided to speak up once more after we toasted our drinks.
Meld "I guess I should say this now but honestly thanks for not hurting our ace too badly. Even if it was I who gave you the warning, I know it must have been difficult in trying to get him to understand you had zero ill intentions for the beastmen child" he says sight apologetically but honest as well with a grin
Hajime "No worries I doubt anything less would have made that foolish hero understand. I'd say it's gotten worse since now he thinks he has enormous power to make a difference. Like I said in our previous talks you have your work cut out for you Meld. You lucky you have Yaegashi and Ryutarou with you to keep him somewhat inline." he simply says honestly with a grin as well
Meld "It isn't that bad plus he honestly makes you want to follow him and the ideal he wishes to accomplish. A hero of justice how nice that would be if such a thing was achievable. But even I see such a thing is hopeless. You wouldn't be a human anymore going down such a path. I bet good money as well our demon enemies would say the same." he simply says with a small smile but a sad expression on his face
Meld "I only say such a thing since you said you've known two people who achieved such a thing. If you don't mind those two men or women who pursued such an ideal. Did they achieve it?" he asks honestly with a sad expression
Hajime "...They did…but the price in doing so was too much and even such an Ideal ended up betraying them the most. For one hates and regrets following such a stupid ideal. While the other for the most part didn't care if such an Ideal betrayed him as long he has the chance. saving one child's hand as he still goes on. But they only achieved such a thing because they were machines in human skin. Forever damaged from what traumas they experienced early on within their childhoods. Amanogawa isn't and he'll end up becoming our enemy if he continues going down such a path. He'll be eaten up and spit out the horrors, lies, sacrifices, and pain humanity will inflict on him time and again." he says with a slightly frowned expression
Hajime "When that happens he'll break and become a greater threat to you and everyone he fought for. I dare he'll become one of the greatest villains the world has ever seen, or at least up there since I known and hung out with such villains from time to time long ago" he simply says honestly having a nostalgic smile appear on his face
Meld "I would say you're just spewing lies but I know you aren't. Your eyes say as such," he says sadly looking towards him
Hajime "I just wish you would stop hesitating in giving the kids their first kill experience. They'll need it and that way you could weed out those who would survive on the frontline. And those who'll need to stay back and act support units or last-minute reserve. Since if you sent them in the frontline against the demons. They would hesitate and died causing others around them. Good soldiers die with them as well in trying to save their supposed heroes. It's a whole different game in between killing a monster and killing a humanoid enemy who's sentient and acts like it's human after all." he simply says sadly looking back towards him
Meld "I see your point…but I still need to think up a scheme that would force them into taking a human life. It's not like they'll easily be ordered to kill someone. It's as you said they come from an era of peace where such a thing isn't just part of daily life. I have no doubts that tomorrow they'll struggle a bit in killing the monsters. Though I'm sure as we progress down the floors it'll become easier for them as time goes on." he says as the music performance by the veteran female adventure group going by Valkyries had reached its zenith
Hajime "I'm sure they will, all I could honestly hope now is that when it comes down to kill. They in process of freezing up don't end up costing someone's life or multiple in trying to save them from giving the enemy space to take you with him" he simply says with a sad expression having remembered within the E Pluribus Unum Singularity.
Because of his hesitance in taking a life multiple times be it, soldiers, from Medb's and Cu alter camp or Edison's American soldiers. It always ended up in either the servents getting wounded like Mash. Or in the case of Billy the Kid, Regular Nero not the bride version, Sasaki Kojiro, Jack the Ripper, and Mordred having to die in either against an enemy servant or saving to save his ass from a legion of enemies and phantasmal beasts.
Meld "I guess you weren't the person you are today huh…it's sad reality in the war you fought in all that innocence, naivety, doing away with people being simply as good or evil, or never once staining your hands with blood. All of that was forced off to the side to become who you are today…but tell me Hajime doing you still feel guilt in taking a life even now?" he simply asks with sad eyes looking at the child forced to become a veteran soldier
Hajime "...yes I do but I don't let such a thing affect me in the heat of battle or a serious situation. I'm honestly surprised even after so much death in my wake alongside the ones I'll call family and comrades. I'm not desensitized to such a point that any guilt in taking alike hasn't vanished it." he simply says hearing the music reaching the endpoint
Meld "Then I guess that's good since there is a thin line between being a human and a monster. Even more so when it comes to men like us who've known only the battlefield and death at every corner. It's easy to lose yourself in war and coming back from it even in the first battle as a monster" he simply says honestly while he sets done his glass on the counter much like Hajime as he starts to clap as the performance ends.
Hajime "Fairly true" he simply says with a smile and claps as the valkyries give a bow towards the audience around
With the adventures around the place and the bartender are cheering and giving out praises. With both Meld and Hajime merely having slight grins at how merry the atmosphere is without a care in the world. As well them both having finally finished their first drinks and ordered another. They have money to spare after all. He still spoke up while having his attention towards the performers on stage doing a good job. You don't spend a lot of time with Mozart, Marie, the Elizabeths servents, the Nero servents, and other servants that dabbled or were interested in the performing and musical arts for nothing. Even more so as downtime in trying to fix your terrible voice to make it decent enough to perform onstage.
However, both notice that the valkyries in question send a quick glance their way. As well merry giving the both of the smiles that sort of having the air of mischievous and intrigue. Something while being polite and not rude simply smiles back while raising their glasses to them before turning back towards the bartender who merely gives them a knowing but pitting look. And so having finished their second drink as everyone is merely claiming down waiting for the next performance. They begin to hear whispers and slight chuckles about how the newbie tradition is about to start. Or how the next unfortunate victim of the valkyries is about to start. Even through the loud merry ambiance, they could hear the multiple footsteps coming towards them in a slow but happy matter. And so Hajime having gotten his third drink for the night alongside Meld, spoke up to the bartender whisking his glass having taken a sip from it.
Hajime "Gotta have to ask but this happen often?" he simply asks the bartender with a grin drinking his glass alongside Meld
Bartender "Only when the Valkyries are within the town. A bunch of poor fools earring their attention doesn't last long within the adventuring life. And may Ehito help you somehow good enough to join them upstage within their various soothing and entertaining performances. As well be a decent fighter. The last one only lasted a month before having died during an adventuring job within Guren's Dessert near the Dukedom of Ankaji. The poor lad was a hero to us all for lasting that long, he had a bright future too" he simply says honestly with a nostalgic expression remembering the said young promising adventure. Same with the people around them at the counter hearing the bartender speaking briefly about the young hero who was doomed to fail under the valkyries watch
Hajime "Heh, then I'm simply assuming there is no way in escaping these valkyries sight. Once they found you intriguing enough is it?" he simply ask while Meld is attentive at the footsteps get even closer to them
Bartender "Not really no the only way out is death unfortunately and just so you no one has ever laid with them either" he simply says looking between the both of them and the oncoming four valkyries
Hajime "Is it beacuse they won't let their purity be sullied unless their stronger enough to keep company with them or be the one they seek?" he simply asks still having a girn on his face drinking his half-empty glass
Bartender "It would be a lot easier if that was the case but well you can say their debut was an interesting one. One that even now the most hardened adventures are afraid to court them or prevent newbies from trying to try such a thing. Saying various facts about them and how terrifying they were even at your rank. Not even Gold-rank adventures, be it man or women would try to get to know them" he simply says honestly
Meld "Ah so their the infamous beauties of destruction I've heard about on within the capital and even the frontlines. Knew the name Valkyries was familiar," he says knowing the stories he's heard about them in a recalling expression
Hajime "Heh then I'm assuming some poor dumbasss thought they were easy pray or use until well the women coming towards us put them in their place I'm assuming?" he asks with a slight intrigued grin
Bartender "That about briefly sums up their debut yes, although it was a lot more complicated at that especially when a royal prince from the Hoelscher Empire was involved. Let's just say the prince was quite vindictive as such he made sure for his supposed humiliation none of the valkyries can court a man beacuse of that event and other minor ones later on in their career as up and coming adventures reach sliver rank within 5 years. possible the fastest anyone within the guild to reach silver rank status." he says while nodding in agreement
Hajime "So then beacuse of this prince these still pure flowers are well past the marriageable age within these parts. By the way, may I know this prince's name?" he asks having finished his third drink
Bartender "No problem considering you're about to find out anyways from others around you telling what happened that day 5 years ago. It's prince Baius D. Hoelscher" he simply says while shrugging his shoulders
Hajime "Ha, damm should've known such an ass wipe would be such vindictive and petite having his whole image about women simply be reduced to playthings to use. would be forced to go through reality by these women kissing his and whoever else's ass" he says and chuckles a bit in slight amusement with a large grin on his face
? "Heh most men after hearing royalty was involved. Especially one close to becoming the next king of the Hoelscher Empire when Gahard finally kicks the bucket somehow. Would be somewhat fearful, not complimenting our actions that day?" he hears a voice says in somewhat bafflement but amusement as well.
That he sets his third glass on the table turn to face the four as he spoke up
Hajime "Let's just say I'm one of the lucky few who know that women could be far superior to men in terms of combat and intellect. Plus women who can kick your ass is somewhat a turn on for me if I'm being honest" he simply says honestly with a grin while shrugging his shoulders
? "Heh your an interesting one aren't you and not just about your exotic looks around here not to mention a little cute" a different girl having a grin on her face spoke up
Hajime "if anything I'm adorable but that's beside the point. What can I and my escort do for you today our Valkyries of Battle? Hope it's not to drag us towards Vallhala since I think we're still young to die or have done much in terms of being heroic. Well at least anyways I don't know about Meld though" he simply says to them with a grin before turning his gaze towards Meld who was watching them interact
Meld "Can't say either all I've been doing is what a commander and soldier does while on the frontline. Though I'm assuming Valhalla is your term for where Ehitos paradise resides right? the Holy precincts if I'm remembering what the churches teaching says" he merely asks in recallment and curiosity
Hajime "You could say that yes, but not quite since there are multiple in regards where people go towards the afterlife. I'll perhaps explain later when we have a chance sometime in the future" he simply towards him still having a smile on his face but for a quick second saw the flash of recognition within the four young battle maiden beauties at him mentioning Valhalla.
? "Your just full of surprises aren't young newbie, even more so you seem friendly with the Heiligh Knight Order Commander of all people." says a different one with intrigue while still having a grin on her face
? "In more ways than one considering he seems to have been marked by three of our sisters already, the fourth being from big sister as well." says the one with long sliver azure hair in slight curiosity but amusement as well
At their words for a brief moment, his eyes slighlty widen at their mentioning that but quickly regains his composure still having his amused grin on his face.
? "That seems to be the case, huh, but I don't see them around here either shame would be nice to reunite with them once more" he hears the first one who spoke up simply say with slight amusement but honest in her voice
Hajime "Well... let's just say your sisters and your big sister's boyfriend went back towards their home within Vallhala after sorting some issues they had with each other. Would've joined them as well but wasn't my time yet so I'm here instead. Talking towards you guys right now seems like your newest victim alongside Meld here" he simply says to them with a smile while having his eyes closed for a brief moment. so that they wouldn't see his true veteran self reflect towards them within each of their eyes.
? "Ah they already told you about that huh? Well, no matter you did catch our intrigue but sadly you specifically have our attention now for better or worse. Hope that doesn't bother you knowing such a thing oh young hero." she hears him says towards him honestly with a grin
Hajime "Figured as much, just letting you Meld courting any of these girls or if your so bold marrying all four of them would make you a happy man. I would know considering how their sisters were. Don't mind if they're past the marriable age since that means all the idiots afraid of these maidens of battle made a foolish mistake at not being with any of them" he says honestly and bluntly almost as if the Valkyries and Hajime are in something secret only towards them judging from the slight warm but knowing grins each of them had
? "Heh your even trying to help us in finding a man for ourselves. I'm assuming you're also on the table as well no?" she simply says to him in slight gratefulness but honest as well
Hajime "Sadly no see I only belong to three of your sisters already along with a few others. I'm sure you wouldn't be on the spears end of your furious sisters when you met them once more within Valhalla of trying to take a man belonging? Though I'm sure it would be fine if every once in a while we simply used each other as a way to relieve stress from each other. Be it in sparing or a different kind of sparing within a dimly lit room" he simply says honestly having remembered the time Hildr, Thrud, and Orthlinde having drawn spears at Brynhildr and Sigurd in trying to take him away from them and the others within their massive relationship.
And after a very destructive but heated sparring match it ended up with Brynhildr having to accept a compromise of simply occasional one-night stands. Like with others that caught her yandere's interest much to Sigurd send giving us a guilty and sorry look about his wive's tendencies. something that all of Chaldea could only respect such a man is still able to Keep Bynhildr to himself the majority of the time. Always making sure Byrnhildr Yandere's love was always directed towards him since well he was one of the few who could survive his wife trying to seriously kill him most of the time. Even it was a curse that was always with them that wouldn't vanish even as servents within Chaldea.
? "Awfully bold aren't you Oh young hero, but well I guess it would be bad in seeing them again knowing fully well trying to take their hero and man away from them. Though I'm assuming you'll take responsibility should we show how to judge your suggestion and end up with a child?" she simply says honestly in agreement while having a slight wincing expression on her face. Possibly imagining much like the other there having to constantly try to fend off their various dead sisters and comrades' wrath
Hajime "Should that happen well even I know it would be stupid of me not to take responsibility. I'd rather not get my ass beat by my various shishous and friends after all. A quiet but engaging melody and uplifting tune were being played by a different group keeping the mood and merry atmosphere. As well everyone was chatting they were simply awaiting if the newest victims were going to go upstage and try to perform like previous victims of the valkyries.
Hajime "Perhaps but you don't mind if I went up there joining you guys while performing one of the various songs from my era? Since I doubt Meld has dabbled a bit in the musical and performing arts as I have. I had various good teachers and friends in teaching me after all with your sisters being a few of them. No offense meld" he says respectfully with a slight grin
Meld "None taken Hajime, I'm actually am interested in hearing a few of your homelands songs as well," he says honestly and intrigued
? "I suppose you could but I doubt you could teach us in less than a few dozen minutes before the performance is over?" says the beauty with the sliver azure hair
Hajime "That would normally be the case but If you are what you say then memorize a few musical notes and lyrics from a song if not multiple in such a short time. Would-be child's play compared in having to full memorize a basic rune much less primordial ones if any of you had the chance to study the last one anyways" he says with a wide grin
? "Perhaps...alright young hero we're game if you think can be on par with us onstage. Just hope you're adequate to not bring down our performance too much. Since other than the pride within ourselves being stronger than most people here. We have pride in our music and performance as well" she says honestly but excited as well
Hajime "Then Meld I'd suggest you book us a room for the six of us here just for the night. Since it seems we won't be heading back towards our respective inn room within the town," he says with confidence but having a respectful grin
Meld "Confident are you? Well hope your right about this since it would look bad if it was just the two of us having to return towards the Inn. While having to pay these maidens rooms for the night," he says in slight curiosity but having a slightly amused grin enjoying the night so far
Hajime "Ah that's beacuse I have an advantage over anyone else here, especially the era where I come from. Music has evolved over the centuries becoming part of our daily lives back home." he simply says honestly
Hajime "That being said may I know all your names since it would become a lot easier in coordinating upstage. Since you four will mostly be in the spotlight after all. And after today you girls will cause the inspiration and movement of musical and performing arts to boom." he says to the four of them with a smile
However, all five of them noticed somewhat hidden mischievousness within it causing all five of them to have somewhat warry but heavy intrigue and excitement at what Hajime means. After a few dozen minutes passed by in having listened towards the mystic code music box containing numerous songs that some within his homeworld haven't even come out yet. Via a few wireless mystic code headphones, Hajime went back towards his room to get out of his two duffel bags. As well Hajime getting a kick at seeing the shocked expressions of Meld, Eir, Gudr, Herja, and Sigrun with having a smug on his face.
He along with four members of Valkyries ended up playing acoustic versions of Starset's Trials, Three doors down's When I'm Gone, 30seconds to mars' Kings & Queens, Tomme Profits's Enemy, Lindsey Stirling's What You're Made Off and Hollywood Undead's Take me Home. The reception towards the import too sudden concert of the Valkyrie onstage was immense as more and more people tried to list. Only had to mostly stop the concert so that they could continue outside where people cheered, clapped, sang along from time to time, and screamed their names as well demanding an encore.
So they did with the various local nightly establishment offered imprompt too free drinks and company smelling money within their performance. Plus it gave all those men or women from said establishment breathing room as well perhaps made their week at perhaps witnessing the birth of music being reborn into different forms of music. That perhaps the world would enjoy to the fullest and maybe start up a new job vocation all aspiring musicians could be. Whether that being alone or in a group like their performance and doing various smooth dances to entice the crowds of people even more. The only silver lining was that none of his classmates ended up having to wake up from how late everyone with the early hours of the morning. Though as they need their second preform can having get paid massive tips from the entire town. Both Hajime and Meld along with the Valkyries ended up spending the night together at the adventure built-in Inn.
As to how that went well let's just Meld and Hajime ended up becoming good friends throughout the night with the valkyries after 19yrs of being supposedly pure. Perhaps experienced the best night of their life other than having done a long three-hour concert. As well as finally perhaps finding a man they could call their own being the Knightly commander Meld. Though that didn't mean a few of their small groups would try to make Hajime fall for them...at least that was the plan for Eir and Sigrun when the next day came and changed everything drastically in more ways than one

Well, that was the chapter like I always said in my previous chapters by now but do leave reviews and criticisms should you wish to do so. It helps me a lot and hopes the chapter was a decent enough read-through. I wanted to add a little bit more to the chapter but didn't know how to fit it within this one as to how it turned out. Also, no the Four "Valkyries" aren't servants but reborn ones who are just a tad bit stronger than the humans within tortus on par with high-tier demons. With their status being 300 across the board also letting you know this now but you won't be seeing them perhaps at all after the next few chapters come out. All I can say is it has to do with a noble child in Furren going on a little adventure. Still, though I hope you all thought the various interactions between the characters weren't forced in any way. As to when the next chapter comes out. Well, can't say considering a mixture or wringing chapters for other stories such as Thus the Maou Fought there! or Sudden Extra seven as examples. As well as how much time my Job IRL demands me to go on my days off from time to time cus co-workers suck... Still, though so much time has passed that yet again more servants came out and well what's going on within Europe...Hope it doesn't get worse than it already has since I like living and would like to avoid armageddon or IRL Fallout happening.
Won't add any new servants to Hajime's FGO Harem list but will to both Gudao's and Gudako's cause well...you already know how that is. Still, I hope it doesn't become three months again or is four in mee getting out a chapter for this story. No promises though, anyhow hope you all have a good day or night, and well stay safe out there now since sadly we are watching history unfolding within our eyes all I can say is this.
