Bell's POV.

A very cheerful looking girl was standing right in front of me with a huge smile on her face, she's also holding of what I can only guess as a jagamarukun. I don't know the flavor but from the looks on her face, it must be delicious.

"Huh? You want some of this? Here you go! This is the special edition Scarlet Harnel Jagamarukun!" She shoved it straight to my mouth and I was surprised when I tasted it for the first time.

It was so spicy, I felt my whole body on fire and I have no choice but to swallow it since it would be rude to spit it out when she went out of her way to give her food to me.

"W-W-W-WWAAATEEERR...!!! *COUGH *COUGH"

"Ahahahahahahaha! I know you'll like it!"

The girl laughed furiously while holding to her stomach. I only wish I've bought some water since right now, I don't have a single valis left in me.

"Ugh... Why are you crying? Sorry. Do you not like it? Maybe it's too spicy for you, wait here I'll buy you a drink!" She dashed off with a worried look on her face.

She came back fast with a bottle of drink I never saw before, she handed it over to me. I took it and drink it.

"W-what is this!? It feels like something so little exploding inside my mouth! It tastes amazing too!" I said in surprise as I look at the bottle in my hand.

"Ah, you're new here I see. That's a soda, it's one of the best drinks here but you shouldn't drink too much of it or your throat will get sore."

"Thank you so much, um..."

"Alise! My name is Alise y'know!" She hold out her left hand which I took.

"My name is Bell! Bell Cranel! Thanks Alise-san!" I bowed at her before smiling to show my grattitude to this incredibly lively girl.

"Don't mind it, I was just trying to cheer you up new commer. Anyway what's bothering you earlier? You look like you just want to go home or something.

"You're absolutely right Alise-san, I was thinking of going home today because no Familia accepted me. I even encountered a god who's looking for his first member to start his familia but brushed me off since I look weak and crybaby. And all of my money is gone now."

I saw her smile slowly leaving her face but then returned soon when she sat beside me and put an arm on my shoulders. Sje then brought her face to mine with a huge grin on hers before speaking.

"If it's a Familia you're looking for, then you're very lucky since I have many connections here and friends! And that's because I'm a captain of our Familia! But our goddess does not accept boys in ours so sorry I can't take you but I'll introduce you to some nice ones I know!"

She then dragged me out of my seat and walked around with me hand to hand into the whole Orario, finding me a Familia that would take me in.

But even with the help of the incredibly famous Alise-san, I'm still homeless right now.

"WHAT'S WITH THEM!? CAN'T THEY JUST TRY IT FIRST AND NOT JUDGE A PERSON BY HIS OR HER APPEARANCE!!?? GRAAAHH!!! THEY'RE GETTING ON MY NERVES!!!!" She's now stomping furiously at the ground like a kid.

Well I can't blame her since even her friends refused a favor of accepting me in, and I can't also blame them since if you really don't know me. I might really look weak and always deffenseless.

"It's okay Alise-san... You've done your best already so there's no need to be mad, I also don't mind. I'll just go back to my village tomorrow... Good-"

"Wait!" She grabbed me by my shoulder. It looks like the word 'Give up' is not in her dictionary.

"I remember a Familia. Their executives were always fine with a newbie member to them but the problem is their regular members, they are a little bit stingy especially if they saw you getting a little special treatment from their favorite senior... Not to mention Loki... But I'm sure Grandpa Gareth and the others will look after you! Let'ssss go!!"

I sighed mentally as we ran towards the northeast and saw a Castle(?). She smiled when it came to our view and sped up even more. Clearly oblivious of me not having a blessing.

We reached the front and that's where I collapsed while panting heavily on all fours.

She let me catch my breath before she dragged me in casually inside their garden and inside their home base.

"Oh Alise!! What's up!? And who is he!?" An amazon girl walked up to us. She's wearing a typical amazon clothes and she's... Well. Flat.

"Oh! He's a new commer here at the city, apparently he's been looking for a familia non-stop for 3 days and none of them accepted him. I'm sure he also tried to apply here but got shunned by the guards because he's a kid."

I couldn't hear their conversations since I'm kind of getting some intense glare from everyone around. I'm getting nervous to boot since I can't handle all of them if they decided to attack me all at once.

"Oh if you're looking for Finn then, He's upstairs talking with Loki and the others"

"Thanks Tiona! Bell let's go!"

And I was dragged again by the scarlet girl upstairs. Who knows, I might find myself a Familia now.

"Come in." After knocking, we heard a voice of a boy from the inside. I don't know who he is but he must be holding a special place for a kid to be inside the captain's room.

She opened the door and revealed a 3 person and 1 goddess inside. They are all from different races and the one that I heard earlier was not a kid but a pallum instead, on to the left one was a dwarf. Sitting on a chair with a drink. Finally, a very beautiful tall lady that has an emerald long hair and eyes partnered with the same color of clothes. By the looks of it, she no normal Elf but a High-Elf and royalty.

"Finn! I'm here to ask you a favor. You see, I found this boy sulking early in the morning at the Plaza and apparently this boy is looking for a Familia for the last 3 days non-stop and no one accepted him. Even the smallest ones kicked him out even after me bringing him there did not cut it that's why I turned to you. Please Finn, because I can't take him to Astrea-sama."

He eyed me a few seconds before thinking. He then looked at his goddess who doesn't seem to mind. Finally, he stood up and smiled at me for some reason.

"You know kid, it might not look to an amateur but I can see and feel that you are used to fighting giants."

"Y-Yes... I used to get training from my uncle but how did you know?" I blinked cluelessly.

He just laughed it off before gesturing me to follow him. Alise-san and I followed him until we reached their backyard. There I saw a familiar looking girl.

"Aki, Aiz. May I borrow this place for a bit? I'm going to test something." He said as he walked towards the middle.

"Wait. Captain did you invite him in?" She asked and the captain nodded.

"We met again, I take it that you're going to join our Familia?" She went to me and smiled.

"Yes... I'm kinda nervous actually"

"Don't worry, it's going to be simple. You just have to hit me once and if you did, you're more than welcome to join us. Okay?"

I nodded at positioned myself but forgot that I had no weapon. I told them that I'm not used to hand to hand and they let me borrow a weapon from one of the girls.

I received a sword from the cat girl and positioned myself. Since I don't have a blessing, I planned on doing what uncle Zald taught me since I was a kid. *Dictating my opponents movement.

"Are you ready?"

"Yes!" The 68th movement he's going to do is a left swing to my torso. I made a mental note before clashing with him.

We arrived at the 50th move and by far, he's doing my bidding and striking the area that I left open on purpose. While gathering my strength, I continued to match his movement until.

I did a fake big swing from my right side upwards as if I was trying to knock up his weapon, he took the bait by ducking to the left side with his spear ready to swing to my torso.

I smiled and continued my swing to the left side to meet his spear. But when it did hit the spear, the force of his swing overwhelmed me and send me flying towards the wall.

"Oy Finn!! You're going overboard!" I heard Alise-san shout before running to me.

She was surprised to see me okay, since I was used to getting beaten up by two level 7. This is now nothing to me.

"I'm okay, I'm used on getting sent flying."

"You pass. Welcome to the familia, may I ask your name?" He offered me a hand which I gladly took.

"Bell! Bell Cranel! But why? I didn't manage to land a hit on you?" I tilted my head towards the side.

"Yes you didn't because I used my full power against you earlier. It was just my reflexes as an adventurer, you did nothing wrong. In fact, you exceeded all of my expectations and you proved to me that those who wronged you are just scums." He smiled again and so did the others.

But little did I know that after the announcement, the friend of mine who brought me to where I am right now has already left.
