Chapter 3
After their talk about introducing Bell to the familia and whatnot. Since there's still a little sunlight outside, Finn decided to take Bell out and have him meet someone close to their Familia.
Normal POV.
"Listen Bell, this person tends to be a little bit lively. They also like to experiment things and create some wierd magic items. Of course you can trust them but what I'm saying is that they are a little weird compared to your typical allies. They are also strong adventurers so sometimes when they feel like it. You can invite them to join you on exploring the dungeon. You will learn a lot from them because they always think out of the box. We're here..."
KNOCK KNOCK.
"Yeesss???!!!"
Bell expected someone who look masculine, tall, handsome but a little bit of a joker to come out.
But his expectations were soon clouded by the young man standing in front of him with a slightly slim build, messy hair tied in an unkept ponytail and an average height. He's about as tall as Bell and has an oval shaped glasses.
"How are you Hange? Can we come in for a bit?" Finn asked his friend.
"Sure! Who is he? New recruit?" Hange eyed the white haired boy and Bell could see the excitement from Hange's eyes.
"Y-Yes! My name is Bell Cranel! It's so nice to see you e-uhm... Mr. Hange" He then extended a hand to the said person.
Hange frowned for a bit before turning to Finn who raised both of hands up. Hange then sighed before taking his hand.
"Stop calling me Mr. Hange, just Hange is fine. It feels kinda weird to be called that way..." Hange proceeded to scratch her head lightly before looking at the boy who's so nervous for no reason.
"Anyway. As you knew already, Bell here is one of our new recruits. But there's something so special about him that made me want to introduce him to you. After a week, I'll have Bell buy an armor for himself and after that. I want you to do your shenanigans on it to modify it for him. Of course I'll pay, just say the price and I'll send them to you right away."
"Finn, just this ones. I'll do it for free."
"Why?" Finn was surprised by her suggestion. Even though Hange can modify equipments with ease and earn money on them. Hange said that 'it's free' for reasons unknown.
"Nothing special... I'm just feeling a little generous right now..." She said before giving Bell a wink which made the boy blush.
After a little bit of catching up to each other, Finn and Bell finally left the craftswomen's workshop. But after a little while before they reach their home, Bell decided to ask a question.
"Um... Captain? Can I ask you something?"
"Go ahead, I don't mind."
"Hange-san is a guy right?"
The question almost made Finn trip on his feet, he never knew that Bell would mistake her for a male but he can see a few reasons as to why the rabbit would asume that.
"Y-Yeah. He is (A total Lie), why do you ask?" He tried to hide his amusement with a straight face and he barely managed to make one because of his innocence.
"Then... Does that mean he swings the other way..?! Because everytime our eyes met, he would make this cute and girly expression to me... Not only that but he's way to touchy... I can't explain but I'm starting to get confused myself..." He said as his face lost all of it's color.
They reached the mansion and after entering the gate, Bell was surprised when Finn said that he'll go ahead and started running so fast.
"I wonder what's wrong...?" The rabbit asked himself.
Twilight Manor (Finn's Office).
SLAM
Riveria was already about to yell at the person who slammed the door loudly but stopped when he saw the captain of their familia slowly walking with his head down.
She then closed the door and was freaked out when Finn started to shake uncontrolably.
"Hey Finn! What's wrong?! This is the first time ever you're crying!" Gareth said with a huge grin on his face.
"Uhuhuhu... AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!"
Loki, Riveria and Gareth's eyes widened when they saw Finn rolling on the ground with his hand on his stomach. This is the first time they saw him laughing so hard that he loses all of his composure and starts acting like a kid.
"What's wrong Finn? Did you eat one of Tione's cooking again?" Loki asked worriedly.
"N-No... Our newbie... He said... Hange was... HAHAHAHA!!!" Before he could gave his full answer, he started laughing again when he remembered that Bell called Hange 'Mr. Hange' earlier.
"Stop laughing will you..? Or I... Might start laughing myself... Bahahaha!" Soon Gareth joined him even though he doesn't know the source of his amusement.
"Finn... WHAT'S GOING ON...?" Riveria as she herself has started to get irritated by their action.
"Okay okay... I'll tell... Earlier, we went to Hange's workshop near their familia and I asked if she could modify an equipment for Bell. But when I introduced her to him, Bell called her 'Mr. Hange'! He even asked me if he's gay because Hange's always looking at him with bright eyes... AHAHAHAHA!!"
"Is that it Finn!? You should've told us sooner! It's so funny I might die laughing! AHAHAHA!!!" Soon, the goddess of mischief joined the two who's laughing their hearts out.
"Well, you won't understand us since you did the same thing! You even tried to kill her when she entered the bath with you one time... BAHAHAHAHA!!"
The laughter continued. While Riveria couldn't deny herself that she too mistook her for a guy.
Almost an hour have passed before the laughter died. Finally, Riveria found silence and could now relax on her own sit.
"I should thank Alise-chan for bringing such an interesting kid to us... Maybe I should take her to the public bath-ouch!"
"Don't you dare Loki. But I agree that we should thank her for bringing Bell to us, he will become a great asset to us and is probably the only one who could surpass HIM." Said the high elf.
"Ottarl huh... Well we're not in a hostile relationship towards the Freya Familia but we're not on good terms with their members either... Especially Allen Fromel. He hates our guts especially Bete." Gareth said while placing a hand on his chin.
Finn already had this on his head the moment he accepted him to their Familia, he planned on making all of them pretend that Bell's fast growth is also news to them and that he does not have a skill that supports it.
He already also had a plan on how to make him level up by beating an adventurer on equal footing as him or a level higher than him. Of course if someone who's also in the brink of leveling up defeated him, he also won't mind as he will also level up. So it's a win-win all in all.
"Everyone, I have a plan. About how we can utilize his skill to it's absolute limit. But we should assign someone who we can absolutely trust on his secret skill... Someone who won't just tell anybody about it and someone who can accompany him everyday to the dungeon without raising any suspicion..." He said as he sharpened his gaze to the two executives.
"Well... Let me think for a second..." Said the dwarf.
"So you'll assign another person again on him?" Asked the Elf.
"Yeah... But in secret... Probably late at night, I'll call whoever we think of here and ask them if they can do it..."
"Can I say something?" Loki raised hand.
"The only ones we can ask about this were probably Lefiya and the others..."
"Lefiya is no good. If she find this out, she will probably tell this to Aiz or worse will throw a fit because WE, especially Riveria is giving him a special treatment..." Finn replied.
"What about Cruz?" Gareth suggested.
"We can't do that, you know that he's in charge on training and accompanying the level 2s and level 1s to their usual dungeon exploration. Remember, he needs to grow as fast as possible so we can't have him fight with lots of people. He needs solo experience to fullt utilize his Liaris Freese. We only have to get him a person to ensure his safety."
"You're right... I can only think of the girls at this point... Since the guys are usually busy." Loki commented.
"Ah... I'll get a drink or something, I can't think straight right now." Loki was about to get out but Riveria blocked her way. The high elf also said to her that she won't be able to think properly if she drinks. A thing that both Finn and Gareth agrees.
"So basically. Aki, Narvi, Alicia, Rakta, maybe Tione, Cynthia and Carmilia. I was thinking about Line but I remembered that she's just level 2 and was always in Cruz's party..."
"We can trust the first four... Or maybe five but Tiona will probably join them if we assigned Tione to him. And not to mention her being hot blooded... She's always itching to fight. Same goes to Rakta since she loves fighting monsters... Alicia is fine, she can use magic and can heal him when needed. She can also support him from the back line to give him enough space thanks to her incredible sharp shooter skill. And then Aki and Narvi. The last two are probably the most basic companion for him and he will probably need a healer if the last two were to accompany him since unlike Alicia, they don't have healing magic."
Hours have passed and they are still can't decide on whom to choose, even though they themselves are almost convinced that Alicia were suited for him as a partner. Finn was still against it.
"Why Finn? It's obvious that she's perfect for this mission. Why are you hesitating?" Asked the impatient dwarf.
"See this?" The pallum held out his thumb.
"You know that this throbs whenever there is trouble or danger around. And this now is throbing because I'm thinking of having Alicia accompany Bell inside the dungeon." They all went silent again when they saw his finger.
It is true that his thumb sometimes surpasses even the god's intuition. That's why they decided to trust this to Finn.
"Alright I've decided..." Finn finally relaxed.
"What's your decision?"
"No one will accompany him inside the dungeon. We will let him explore it himself and find companions himself. He won't be bound by the restrictions of our Familia. He can explore the dungeon as he pleases and will find equipments and weapons as he pleases, but if he decides to ask us for help, be sure to lend a hand on him. That's all"
Twilight Manor. (While Finn and the others are talkings)
Bell slowly walked inside, trying to ignore the sharp gaze that the other members are giving to him. He have his head down until he bumped into someone.
"What the hell?! Look at where you are going you damn rabbit! Or I'll gauge your eyes so you can never see again!" The werewolf roared at the kid on the floor.
Bete was about to kick him to the stomach but a women stopped him before he could land his attack.
"What are you doing to our newest member!?" The red haired women said.
"Don't get in my way you weakling. Do you want to get kicked out first before that boy?" He glared at the girl who's currently helping Bell get up.
"You're just like that because you have a higher level than me but if we both removed our Falna, we both knew that U will win the battle because I'm stronger than you in hand to hand combat." She returned his hostile glare with her own.
Seeing how heated the exchange has become, The other executives decided to intervene and stop the werewolf from his rampage.
A few seconds later, the werewolf was now nowhere to be found thanks to the twin amazoness who took him out of the scene. After that, Bell decided to thank them.
"Um... Thank you for your help earlier Ma'am!" He said as he with a straight body and very polite tone.
"Oh please don't be too formal to me, and also don't thank me. It's normal for us to help each other, we're family remember?" The red haired girl smiled sweetly which made the boy blush.
"Wow... She looks beautiful when she's smiling..." He unknowingly said out loud.
This made all of them except for Bell to gasp in both surprise and amazement. Questioning how he can just say that casually to someone.
"Wow you're quite a womanizer aren't you?" Said the long haired amazoness.
"Eh what? I said that out loud?"
"""YES""" Everyone including Narvi herself replied.
"EEEEEEEEEEEEHHHHHHH!!!!!!??????"

A/N: So I just finished Hori-san to Miyamura-kun AKA HoriMiya. So what should I read next? I want something that's already over so I don't have to wait for the next chapters.
I've already moved on to what happened at the Classroom of the Elite but I still hate what happened to Suzune.
Anyway, the next chapter for the BellxAki fic is on the way. Expect it to be dropped this week or next week.
I was also sent home since the doctor said so. They don't want me to catch the virus again so they sent me home with an ambulance earlier. And my relative is also doing fine and just needs a little assistance from the nurses from time to time but she said she can manage it on her own.

EDIT:
After thinking again, since nothing is set in stone in the story yet, I'll just proceed on Bell's development. The pairing comes later but Hange will stay in the story. She's still one of the heroines but it's not 100 percent her.
I was also considering other girls especially Alicia and Narvi. Maybe Mikoto since no one has done a fic with her and Bell together.
