"Did Jazmine ever meet up with you that night?" Huey asked.

"Yeah, she met up with me," James answered.

I was at my penthouse waiting for Jazmine because I was sure she was going to come over. That session we had in the laundry room was not going to be easy to avoid. I've been told by a bunch of women I get the job done down there.

She was most likely gonna want seconds if she came over.

I couldn't get my hopes up because there was a 50% chance she wasn't going to come over. When I offered her the option she seemed to question it a bit. She didn't ask but it showed on her face.

It's like she knew it was wrong but she couldn't resist herself.

When Jazmine asked if I felt something after our first time, I lied and said I didn't. Having sex and drinking just took my mind off of it. It actually felt as if there was a spark between Jazmine and me.

I felt it and I'm pretty sure she felt it as well. There was no denying that there wasn't a connection between us. She was into me and I was into her. Either if we were drunk or sober.

I heard a knock at the door and I snapped my attention away from my thoughts. I was going to rush to the door to answer it because it could be Jazmine, but at the same time if it was Jazmine I didn't want to seem too desperate for her attention.

If you give females too much attention they'll take either take it for granted or they'll feel too grateful for their own liking. Jazmine might seem like the girl who wants the perfect guy, but whenever she gets the perfect guy she's never satisfied with them.

That's why she's with her boyfriend, Huey, which she finds more interesting than the perfect guy. Women love fucked up men because they think they can fix them or the men will try to change and do better for themselves for the woman.

Around the times we're in, men will not do shit to change themselves for a woman. They'll still be stuck in their old habits until they reach a certain age which is the age of maturity. This starts to click in a man's mind when he's close to the age of 50.

That's when they want to treat their woman with respect, be financially stable, and try to start a family. But they're unable to do that because the woman is reaching the age of menopause. That's why most men who are older are seen with young women. They're fresh and ready to have fun, unlike the older women.

By the way, Jazmine describes Huey, I highly doubt he's doing anything to break his old habits. He smokes all the time, has sex with multiple women, doesn't say much, and he's always gone. It's a perfect example of a cheater. I don't know any auto repair shop that is open 24 hours.

They're all ready to go home once their shift is over. So Huey would have to be out having sex with other women. It most likely would be women he met at the college party he and Jazmine attended.

Jazmine said that there were a bunch of girls trying to throw themselves at him. And even before then, there were a bunch of girls trying to throw themselves at him.

I'm assuming he's good in the sexual department because that's all females want nowadays. Women say they want a perfect man which is kind, well respected, financially stable, and a family man.

A man can have all those good qualities and still not satisfy a woman. Women want sex! They don't care if you're broke, rich, have a bunch of kids, tall, short, mentally unstable, criminal, or even a narcissist, all they want is sex.

If you can please them in bed, you're good. Women generally hate putting up with our shit and sex is a way to ease off their stress from their surroundings. So if you can't provide them with good sex then they don't want you. It's simple as that!

People make it so complicated to think that they actually care about the good qualities of a man. They just care about the sex.

In Jazmine's case scenario she is stressed and frustrated with a lot of things, such as long hours at work, bills, trying to prepare for school, family issues, and not seeing or being able to have much trust in her boyfriend, and she's sexually frustrated.

All she wants at the moment is sex!

I answered the door to be met with Jazmine who looked tired and still in her nurse uniform. This indicated she just got off of work.

"Hey!" I said greeting her as she awkwardly smiled at me.

"Hi!" she responded.

We just stood there in awkward silence until I asked: "You wanna come in?"

"Yeah," she answered as I stepped aside for her to enter into my penthouse. I closed the door behind her and then went to go to the living room. She followed behind me as I sat down on my couch and she sat down in one of the chairs nearby.

"So how was work?" I asked as she sighed.

"It was tiring like always," she simply answered.

"When did you start working night shifts again?" I asked out of curiosity.

"Not too long ago. I don't have anything to do at home so I just went to work another shift," she explained.

"Oh right," I said. She would come over to my penthouse after work and since we haven't talked or seen each other like that, I guess she took on nightshift again.

"James I want to talk about what happened in the laundry room today," she said as I sighed. I tried my best not to roll my eyes because the same situation went on not too long ago when she wanted to talk about us having sex for the first time.

"What about it?" I asked.

"I don't want to do that type of stuff in the workplace," she started.

That was unexpected!

"Wait, so you want to have sex but you don't want to have sex in the workplace?" I rephrased.

"No, I don't want you touching me and doing that type of stuff while we're at work because that distracts me and I need to focus on work so I can bring money to the house," she simply said.

"What about after work?" I asked to be sure.

"No, there's no point wasting time having sex when I can be earning money at work, and plus I have a man at home, so I can't be doing that type of stuff," she said as I wanted to laugh at that last part.

"You didn't say anything about having a man at home when we did it the first two times," I mumbled. I don't think she understood what I said because she couldn't hear me.

"How about I offer you a better deal," I said as she looked at me a bit confused.

"What do you mean by that James?" she asked.

"What I mean is why don't I offer to pay you to have sex," I simplified.

"That's called prostitution," she said.

"Yeah when you put it that way," I said unphased.

"Money is not a problem for me if that's what you're wondering. I know you're struggling with your finances because the job you currently have is not paying you enough and your boyfriend expects you to bring a certain amount back home," I assured.

"And?" she asked a little unimpressed.

"And I can offer you twice the amount you earn at work. So you can multiple paychecks coming in. You can use one to pay bills, the other to save for school, and another for your own personal use," I said as she started to get interested.

"Where's the third paycheck coming from?" she asked confused.

"It's coming from if you do extra stuff," I said as she seemed unsure.

"I don't know about this James. What if anybody finds out about what we're doing?" she asked.

"Like who?" I asked.

"Like Ms. Grace, the nurses, the other doctors, my boyfriend, or people we know," she named.

"Easy, we can just do it at hotels so people won't catch us," I said taking it into mind. Some people live in the same complex as me so it's best to avoid them if Jazmine and I do decide to go through with this.

"Okay, but I'm not going to keep coming across town to try and meet up with you at night knowing it's dangerous," she said. She's not wrong. It's not safe at night time.

"I can just pick you up and we either go back to my place or go somewhere else if we have to," I simply answered.

She seemed like she was thinking about it and I was waiting for her answer.

"Okay!" she said.

"Okay, you'll do it, or okay you're not interested?" I asked questioning her tone.

"I mean okay I'll do it," she assured.

"So you'll have sex with me in exchange for money?" I asked as she nodded.

"Okay!" I said.

"Do we need to make a schedule when we're going to do it?" she asked as I shook my head.

"It's not fun to be on a schedule," I disagreed.

"What if I have my menstrual cycles?" she questioned a bit concerned.

"Do you bleed out your ass?" I asked as she shook her head.

"Then that really shouldn't be an excuse unless you're cramping," I said as she looked taken back.

"Tomorrow I'll bring some paperwork to work so we can both sign our signatures," I said as she looked confused.

"Why do we need to sign a paper for this?" she questioned.

"Because this needs to be consental," I simply answered.

"Consental? But I'm giving you consent," she exclaimed.

"Verbally, but it needs to be written down for legal reasons," I pointed out.

"What legal reasons?" she asked still confused.

"Prostitution, health, protection, money, and of course consent," I simply named off the top of my head.

"Okay," she said a bit unsure.

"So when you come into work for tomorrow I'll have the papers ready," I said as she slowly nodded her head.

"Okay, then I'll see you tomorrow," she said getting up from the chair.

She starts making her way towards the door and I get up from the couch to ask: "Do you need a ride home?"

Jazmine turned around to look at me and said: "No, I'll just take the bus", and then she left my penthouse.

"So Jazmine came over to your penthouse to turn you down because she didn't want to mess around anymore until you offered her money?" Huey asked just to be on track.

"Yes," James answered.

"Were you that desperate for sex?" Huey asked causing James to glare at him.

"Excuse me?" James said changing his tone.

"I mean it's just that you could have had sex with any woman in all of Washington, for free, and you specifically picked out my wife to be your human sex toy, knowing that she had a boyfriend, and on top of that you paid her when you could have simply just let her go," Huey exclaimed.

"You do realize that Jazmine made the choice to do this, right?" James reminded.

"And your point?" Huey asked a bit unphased.

"And my point is that it wasn't just me doing all of this stuff, Jazmine is guilty of some of what happened as well," James pointed out.

"I'm not saying she's not in the wrong on some choices she made back then, but then again you're the main one who started all of this. You probably got heartbroken by a couple of women and you were most likely able to recover from the heartbreak," Huey exclaimed.

"What's your point in all of this?" James asked.

"My point is, why Jazmine...why out of all women would you pick Jazmine?" Huey asked.

"Because she was the only woman who satisfied me," James answered.

"Satisfy, what exactly do you mean by that?" Huey emphasized.

"I don't know how to explain it. I just simply enjoyed her company," James simply said.

"You sure because from all of the stories you're telling me so far and most likely in the future, it sounds like you like young girls and you love to have sex with them but you can't say that out loud because it would be wrong," Huey said calling James out once again.

"I wouldn't call it that," James said.

"Then what would you call it? I don't think you actually loved Jazmine because all you did was use her for sex," Huey argued.

"You think you're any better? You're worst than me, there's no telling how many women you had sex with, and at the time you were only 18. Hell, after Jazmine left you reverted back to your old ways and started having sex again," James argued back.

"First, when Jazmine and I got together I never cheated on her. I started to sleep with other women when our marriage licenses got revoked," Huey argued once again

"I highly doubt that you didn't sleep or flirt with anybody while you were dating her! You're always high so you probably did it without noticing," James disagreed as Huey started to glare at him.

"What was going on during you and Jazmine's affair?" Huey asked. He was waiting for James to answer but part of him didn't want to hear all of the dirty details that went on between him and Jazmine.

He was hoping they didn't do it as much as he thought they did. It just confused him how this completely went over his head.

"What do you mean?" James asked.

"You know what I mean," Huey said.

"So do you want me to give you the dirty details or how many times we met up to have sex?" James suggested.

"Surprisingly, no...I want to know when you started falling in love with Jazmine," Huey said surprising James.

"You don't want to know all the stuff that was going on behind the scenes?" James asked.

"I don't want to know because I already know it's going to come up in the question I just asked you. And it's obvious the two of you were having sex this whole time. You can't really surprise me with that line anymore. I've heard it way too many times," Huey sighed.

"Why do you want to know when I started falling in love with Jazmine instead of me fucking her?" James asked.

"The reason I'm asking you when you started falling in love with Jazmine instead of having sex with her all the time is because this affair cost her life. It's one thing to fuck without any strings attached and go about your life, but it's another thing to have an emotional bond with somebody and not be able to get over them," Huey explained.

"And your point is?" James asked.

"My point is that you mentioned all the women you've ever been with couldn't satisfy you, but Jazmine could. Even Sarah and your ex-wife, Jane, couldn't satisfy you. Some women either slept with other men including you or you found them too boring to date. Out of all the women you could have given AIDS to, you give it to the most unexpected person. You could have given it to someone like Sarah to expose their devious actions, but you give it to someone like Jazmine who rejected you and knew what she wanted in life," Huey explained.

"Admit that you actually cared about her during your affair and that's what led to her death and mental breakdown," Huey exclaimed.

"But I didn't care about Jazmine," James plainly disagreed.

"That's a lie!" Huey exclaimed. "If you didn't care about Jazmine she wouldn't have gotten AIDS or ended up dead. Now, if you listen to your own story and track your behavior, you were a nice well-respected guy until something in you snapped. Both Jazmine and Ebony agreed that you were a Sadistic Narcissist," Huey continued.

"Where are you trying to get at Freeman?" James asked a bit bothered.

"I'm trying to make you admit that you cared and loved Jazmine, that's why you did what you did in the first place. It seemed like it got worse after she left. Normally a person who doesn't care wouldn't stalk somebody but you kept stalking her throughout her entire pregnancy," Huey explained.

"You know Freeman, I must say you're smarter than what you look like," James commented, impressed.

"Just because I'm black does not mean I'm slow," Huey retorted.

"This has nothing to do with you being black," James argued. "Believe it or not I actually have some respect for the black community, it's you, in particular, I don't like," James cleared.

"Anderson, what have I done to make you hate my fucking guts, because last I check I've never done anything to you," Huey asked.

"You didn't deserve Jazmine!" James answered.

"Aside from Jazmine...what have I really done to make you hate me so much?" Huey asked once again.

"I despise people like you," James answered once again.

"What do you mean by that?" Huey asked wanting a clear statement.

"What I mean Freeman is that people like you are very smart but sometimes they're stuck in their own ways and it's not in a good way. Judging by how your career went you are definitely an intelligent man. But before you became this famous lawyer and great entrepreneur, you were a fucked up individual. You're still fucked up now because you never got the help you needed growing up," James explained.

"Help, what do you mean by help?" Huey asked taken back.

"I mean like a psychologist or somebody who you can go talk to about your issues that happened while you were growing up," James answered.

"I never had issues growing up," Huey lied.

"Freeman, we both know that's bullshit!" James said laughing a little at Huey's lie.

"How so?" Huey asked.

"Oh, so you don't want to admit it bothered you when your parents died when you were 10 years old when you and your little brother moved in with your Grandad and moved to the suburbs, or when you were sexually traumatized as a kid which led you to have sex with multiple women, restrict certain sexual acts, smoking, and drinking or bother you when Jazmine was dating guys who were better than you or bother you when you were out on your own and you had to learn how to be independent or when Jazmine left you and not long after your Grandad died or when you started college and started meeting new women or when you found out you got your ex-wife who was your current girlfriend at the time pregnant and you had to start a life with her and you had to spend the next 27 years putting up an act for your family and the public to protect your own image of you as a black man and not be put in the stereotype your people were in, or when your daughter came to tell you about her existence, or when you found out Jazmine was pregnant and cheating on you while you guys were together, and last but not least, my favorite, when you found out Jazmine was dead after 30 years of wasting your life away thinking she was alive and safe?" James exclaimed.

"How the fuck do you know all of that?" Huey sternly asked.

"Freeman you're not the only one who can get information about someone's personal life. Plus some of the stuff that Jazmine told me had added up when I looked at your background history," James smirked.

"I never told Jazmine about me being raped when I was a kid," Huey argued.

"You didn't have to. As soon as she mentioned that you had multiple sex partners, you smoked weed, and you didn't let her do certain stuff while you guys had sex, it all added up to you being sexually traumatized," James said.

"Freeman, my point in all of this is that you're fucked up and you're too stubborn to go receive help. That is mentally unsafe for you and other individuals around you because it causes you to act out. You're fin to get a divorce because you finally realized what's the point of marriage if you already finished your duties as a husband and father. That leaves your wife and kids upset at you for your decision because it most likely came out of nowhere. I've met Adaline and she seems like a lovely woman. When you were with Jazmine, it left Jazmine questioning you guys relationship because of some of the things you did in the past and what you were doing while you were dating because she knew you as a completely different person back then. And you coming to my doorstep smelling like weed lets me know you're bothered from what you've heard about Jazmine so far," James explained.

"Personally, I think this is a generation thing with your behavior in certain situations. When your parents died you didn't have a good role model. You had a finically unstable grandparent who didn't want to take in two kids because he wanted to enjoy his own life he had left to live. That included him chasing women, spending money on unnecessary things, and making stupid decisions and you didn't want to look into that. Plus you were always surrounded by men and you didn't have any trust for anybody to talk about your thoughts and feelings. Men are taught to never discuss those two things with anybody because we have to keep a masculine image. And on the other hand, I highly doubt your Grandad could afford a therapist in your area during that time," James ended.

Huey didn't say anything because James was right. He didn't have an opening argument like he always does. For the first time in a while, he felt defeated.

"I'll tell you about me falling in love with Jazmine and why I snapped at the end," James simply said reverting back to the question Huey asked him before.

Huey knew James had a lot to say about his and Jazmine's love affair, but he questioned was it worth it? Was it worth getting mad and giving her AIDS that caused her to die?

He also questioned if James felt any type of guilt at the end of all of this?
