3rd Person's POV:

Shannon quickly went to put her request back, "Here, I'll put mine back, alright?"

LeeAnna quickly shook her head, "No, keep yours, I'll put mine back."

"I couldn't do that to you! Please, tell someone we'll be taking your mission and not mine!"

Shannon went to put her request back, but her hand was smacked away by LeeAnna. This noise caught the guild's attention, including Sting and Rogue. What could they be fighting about? LeeAnna held her request back up to the board and retorted back, "Yours is more timely, besides, I'm sure it will still be there when we get back-"

A woman wearing a blue dress had heard enough of their argument. She smirked as she walked over to the duo arguing over which mission to take and calmly stated, "Once a request is off the board, it must be taken. That is the way of Sabertooth."

LeeAnna and Shannon looked at each other, gulping as they stated, "Yes, milady."

Milady, known to LeeAnna and Shannon as Minerva Orland, smiled, "Good, you cubs already know the way of the guild. Even families have to be separated every once in a while. You'll live...hopefully." She then calmly walked back to sit down.

Shannon turned towards LeeAnna and smiled weakly, "So, I guess this is it, LeeAnna."

LeeAnna nodded in agreement, "Yeah. I never thought we would have to break apart this soon. At least we can use our majors to guide us."

"True. We also have something else guiding us." Shannon placed her hand over her guild mark, "Our hearts. As a wise man once said, 'May your heart be your guiding key.'"

Hearing this aloud caused Sting and Rogue to think about just standing by. Sure, they were the newest members, but they were close to the other. Closer than the Twin Dragons themselves were. Were they able to handle their chosen missions solo?

For Rogue, the answer was easy. Blasting apart a storm was dangerous work! Plus, it would probably be dark there, and having someone that can see through the darkness and shadows would be helpful for Shannon. So, he calmly walked up to the female Dragon Slayers and took the request out of Shannon's hand. The Light Dragon Slayer gasped, until she heard Rogue say, "I'll go with you."

This jump started Sting into action. Lacrima Vision couldn't have been hard to set up. In fact, it sounded pretty easy, easier than what he was used to, but what if Leeanna needed to work at night? LeeAnna also was..well, a female. Her going up against a group of thieves would not end well for her, even if she was a Dragon Slayer. Unlike Rogue, he quickly ran up to LeeAnna and asked, "Do you mind if I go with you?"

Both women nodded, looking at each other. This couldn't be real. Not in their wildest dreams would this happen. Shannon turned and smiled at Rogue, "Alright! I'll just get that approved by someone...where is that someone?"

Rogue calmly walked up to the bar in the guild and showed it to the bartender. Knowing not to argue with a Dragon Slayer, the bartender quickly stamped it. Rogue came back to Shannon and handed the request back to her, "Here. It's already approved. Let's get going." Rogue started to walk out of the building, while Shannon was still registering what happened. She quickly shook her head and dashed out the door.

Sting wasn't about to be outdone by Rogue. He snatched the request out of LeeAnna's hand, and took the flyer to the bar. He stamped it before the bartender could look at the request. Walking over to LeeAnna, he smiled, "Ready to go, milady?"

LeeAnna nodded, "Yeah, but just call me LeeAnna. Also, can we walk with Shannon and Rogue? I don't want to leave my Little until the last moment."

"And why is that? Are you afraid of Rogue hurting your sister?"

"Because we're siblings. Is that a crime to suddenly want to watch over my little sister?"

"Fair enough, but we need to catch up. Rogue has left the building, and you do not want to test his patience."

Lector nodded in agreement, "He's scary when that happens!"

LeeAnna shook her head, "That doesn't surprise me at all. Let's get going then." This was going to be the longest few days for her. Why, of all people, did she have to be stuck with her crush?

As they walked out the door, LeeAnna saw Shannon walking with Rogue. Much to her surprise, her Little had caught up with the Shadow Dragon Slayer. LeeAnna kept her eyes on the two people in front of her, until a voice whispered, "Still worried about your sibling?"

Putting her hand over her heart, she turned to face the source of the voice-Sting. Sting smirked at her response, until she retorted back, "Yeah! I'm her Big after all and it's my job to protect her!"

"Why?"

Did she tell him? Maybe later, after all, it was going to be a long time around Sting and Lector, but for now, she would hope that Sting would accept, "Because she's my family. And we don't leave each other behind."

"Makes sense. You two really are different than most in the guild."

"How so?"

"Well...you two actually have a bond with each other that extends far beyond a battlefield. The closest I've gotten to that was with Lector, and sometimes Rogue. Plus, milady is the Master's daughter, and those two aren't nearly as close."

"I'm not going to leave her like that." While they were not blood related, LeeAnna cared for Shannon as if she really was a younger sister to her. Plus, leaving behind the only person in the world that would know what was going to happen would be dangerous.

She was quickly snapped out of her thoughts when she heard her sister gasp, "Whoa! This place is like South Station in Boston! It's got a bit of everything, even a clothing store!"

LeeAnna jogged up ahead to her and saw the station, awestruck. Around it looked like a normal mall, but the tracks were on the inside. Her eyes scanned the storefronts, and eventually landed on a black dress, with red trim around it. Except, neither Shannon nor her had the means to purchase new clothes.

Rogue broke their trance by quietly saying, "Where's South Station at?"

Shannon pivoted on her heel, a slight pink tinge on her face, "It's a place...far, far, away from here. Like...really far away, and the city is larger than this one!"

"Is it like Crocus?"

Shannon had no idea what Crocus was beyond what she saw, so she nodded, "Sort of...except there are much taller buildings. It's tough to explain."

Frosch piped up, "Fro would like to go to Boston!"

Shannon shook her head as she walked into the station, "I don't think you can." She turned to her big and mouthed out, "Sorry Big."

LeeAnna smiled calmly and dismissed her sister's concerns. She felt a little homesick too, and worried. This world was much different than theirs, and they either had to adapt or perish. First task: getting through these missions.

The two of them walked past the ticket counter without worrying about paying, thanks to the generosity of the Twin Dragon Slayers. Though, they weren't sure if they even had to pay, since the worker just quickly nodded at them and pointed at two separate trains. One was at platform 9, and the other was at platform 4. Shannon walked up to LeeAnna and smiled, "So...this is it?"

LeeAnna nodded, "Yeah. Don't do anything stupid out there, alright?"

Shannon chuckled, "You stole my line right out of my mouth. Don't let Sting do anything stupid to you."

LeeAnna started to blush, "Don't let Rogue bring your mood down." The two sisters started to laugh, which caused the other four to watch them in confusion. What was so funny?

Their laughter was only interrupted by two high pitched whistles, coming from opposite ends of the platform. Both LeeAnna and Shannon looked at each other and nodded. They quickly embraced, and then went to their respective partners/crushes.

As they walked away, Shannon turned around and yelled to LeeAnna, "See you on the other side!"

LeeAnna retorted, "Don't miss me too much!"

"Now what am I supposed to do?"

"Your mission, maybe? I kid. Be careful, sister." LeeAnna was going to try and wave goodbye to her Little, but was pulled onto the train by Sting.

Shannon wiped a tear away as she stepped onto the train, "Same to you, sister." She couldn't cry though, after all, Sabertooth members don't cry!

However, this did not stop Frosch from noticing, so the Exceed asked, "What's wrong?"

Shannon shook her head and put a smile on her face, "I'm just going to miss my sister. Do I need to know anything about how y'all fight?"

Frosch shook its head, "Not really. Fro flies, while Rogue fights!" The Exceed then went up to Shannon and hugged her, "What will you do?"

Shannon looked at Rogue and smiled sweetly, "I'll do whatever you need. I'm used to doing a lot, so nothing can scare me!"

Rogue nodded as he sat down near a window seat, "Good. Darkness can be a little scary sometimes. We'll have to walk to the coast in order to get the mission done. The train won't even go there because of the fear of darkness."

"I see, but I believe in this: 'Happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light.' As long as I'm here, I'm going to look for the light in the darkness."

"Fro will too!" The train started to move, which caused Rogue to groan. Shannon had completely forgotten about how a Dragon Slayer hates moving things...but why wasn't she feeling queasy?

She shrugged this off as she closed her eyes, the noises of the train lulling her into a deep slumber. Rogue looked at his partner and smiled to himself. At least, he wouldn't embarrass himself in front of her. Maybe, just maybe, he was developing more than just an acquaintance with her.
