Hello! This is my first fic about Naruto and it contains shounen-ai, but I hope you will like it :D
The night was dark and cold as we walked towards the village. It seemed to be so far away, but we still kept walking despite our exhaustion. We had to get there, we both wanted to sleep after our long journey. It was the last small village before we would be back in Konoha.
"Look, there's a tavern." Sasuke said, pointing towards the only light in the village.
"Let's go then, I want to get some sleep." I said and started to walk faster.
We reached the tavern quite soon and the innkeeper looked at us for a while. I'm sure two tired, blood-covered boys were unusual sight in that small village. I was too tired to ask him why he was looking at us like that.
Sasuke went to him and said: "We would like to spend a night here. Do you have two free rooms?"
"Unfortunately this tavern is almost full already, we only have one small room with one bed." The innkeeper said, still looking at us. "Will you take it?"
Sasuke took a glance towards me and didn't even let me say my opinion. He just answered: "We will."
"Hold on now, Sasuke." I said as we walked upstairs. "Do you really think we would sleep in same bed?"
"Well, yes, unless you want to sleep on the floor." Sasuke answered.
I bit my lip with slight anger. We had slept on the ground for a week during our mission, and I definitely wanted to sleep finally in real bed. So I just sighed and didn't say anything.
Sasuke opened the lock with the key the innkeeper had given him, and I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the room. It only had the bed and a small table, it was smaller than I had ever thought. The only window was covered with old curtains, and even the moonlight couldn't shine in through them. The room was completely dark when Sasuke closed the door behind us.
"Do what you want." He said. "I will go to sleep right away."
I sighed again and changed my nightclothes on. Sasuke was already in bed when I went there, his eyes were closed and I saw he had left some space for me too. I moved the blanket aside and went next to him, closing my eyes too and trying to start sleeping.
Sasuke wrapped his arm around me before I even realized it. I could feel his chest moving against my back as he breathed, I could feel his warmth in the cold night. I opened slightly my eyes, grabbing his hand onto mine.
"Sasuke… what are you doing?" I whispered.
"The night is cold. We both have to keep warm." He whispered back.
I closed my eyes again. Sasuke pulled me nearer him, now I felt his breathing on my neck. I turned my head a little, to see him leaning on my shoulder eyes closed. I had to admit it: he was cute when he was sleeping.
I turned back towards the wall and closed my eyes, for the third time. But this time either I couldn't sleep, when Sasuke suddenly kissed my neck.
"What the…"
"Don't say anything." Sasuke whispered.
So I stayed quiet. He kissed me again, and this time I enjoyed it. Before I realized myself what I was doing, I pressed my lips onto Sasuke's lips. He seemed to confuse a bit at first, but then kissed me back and pulled me against himself.
"Naruto…" He whispered onto my ear. "I… think I love you."
"Yeah… I love you too, Sasuke-chan." I whispered back, kissing him once again.
