The Super-Insane family had a family chat outside the house next to their banged-up truck. "I know the last few months have been hard on you all. There's a lot going on. Morgan Edge, giving people powers, mystery guy trying to kill your dad. I just want to know how you all feel about this," Kara said to her kids.

"If not for Morgan Edge's experiments, this town would be boring as fuck," Kon said obnoxiously.

"I have to agree. A small town in ancient times is not my scene," Mara agreed.

"So, are you either of you stressed out, nervous?" Kara asked them.

"Nope," Kon and Mara shook their heads.

"Well, okay then. I'm going to the DOD to question our Black Luthor," Kara said and then flew off.

Mon turned to Kon and Mara. "Let's go to the barn and see what we can find in that RV," he ordered them. The three entered the barn where the RV had been parked.

"Anything?" Mon asked Kon and Mara.

"It's lined with lead," Mara replied.

Mon entered first in case there were any Kryptonite traps. Looking around, he saw only a normal RV. "Classic creepy mobile," Kon remarked as he went inside.

"Exactly," Mon agreed.

"Identification required," the computer system demanded.

"Kara Zor-El," Mara said, perfectly impersonating her mother's voice.

"Voice authentication confirmed," the computer system allowed. "Good morning, Kara."

"How do you know my name?" Mara asked.

"You are one of my authorized users. How can I help you, Kara?" the computer asked.

"Tell me everything about myself," Mara ordered.

The bed flipped showing two computer monitors, a keyboard, and two joysticks. "Sick!" Kon said as he saw it.

"Well, that was easy," Mon smirked.

At the DOD, Kara strolled in like she owned the place. The soldiers stared at her in awe and fear. She entered an interrogation room and found Black Luthor. "Have a seat...John," Kara said to him. "That is your real name, isn't it? John Henry Irons, ranger, two tours in Afghanistan, got into the private sector and made a name for yourself in mechanical engineering. The problem is...John Irons died six years ago before I even started this gig and under mysterious circumstances by the way," Kara began.

"We have facial ID, fingerprints, you can't deny it," Kara said disappointedly.

"I don't deny it," John said finally.

"Why did you let me think you were Lex Luthor? Do you have any idea how much that hurts me to know you're not him?" Kara shook her head dismayed.

"What made you think I was telling the truth about that?" John rolled his eyes. "Do I look like Lex Luthor?"

"Well, you're bald," Kara pointed out.

"I'm Black," John said obviously.

"Do you know how many people thought you were a woke incarnation of Lex Luthor, a race-swapped character just for the hell of it? Do you know how many people were critical and lost hope because of this so-called twist you tried to do?" Kara asked.

"I don't give a damn what those people think. I fought you and your fake Superman. I can pilot interdimensional ships, design mech suits, and fight Kryptonians. I'm a fucking badass," John told her off.

"And that's the only reason you're still alive," Kara admitted. "How did you get here?" Kara asked.

"I was in my ship and then I pushed down on the joystick really really hard," John replied.

"Fair enough," Kara smiled amused.

"All you need to know is that I'm the one that's going to end you," John told her.

"Words I've heard so many times before from so many others," Kara said dismissively.

"You, like my own Superman, will go traitor. You're a soulless monster that feels nothing for the billions of people that believe in you," John accused.

"You have no idea how much I care for these people. It's like...a lot," Kara said defensively.

"I do know. What happened on my world is already happening on this one. The Kryptonians are here and you joining them is the last thing to happen before it all goes down," John said angrily.

"Let me set you straight. The only Kryptonians here on this planet are my own kids...who are total angels, by the way. The other Kryptonians are on Argo and they're weak-as-fuck. I don't join shit. I am the shit. No one tells me what to do. The buck stops with me and if you've done your research, you would know I've had plenty of opportunities to sack this world and I haven't. You know why? Because I don't give a shit about such things. I'm just here to pass the time until I go back to the future where...I actually do sack the planet. You know what? I don't have to answer to you. I thought we had a connection when you were still Black Luthor. Now, there's nothing between us," Kara said annoyed.

"On my world, we were married," John said bitterly. "You may know nothing about me, but I know everything about you."

"If that's the case, start talking about our sex life. I want to know everything," Kara demanded.

Mon, Kon, and Mara went over John Henry Iron's profile pictures of him graduating college, being in the service, and playing football. "He's like John Stewart, Victor Stone, and James Olsen combined," Kon mused.

"He's from another universe," Mara determined.

"So, on his Earth, there could be other versions of mother?" Kon wondered.

"Possibly," Mara said as she went through more photos of John's awesomeness. She finally clicked on John and Kara being really close. They then saw pictures of John and Kara getting married, John proposing to Kara on the beach.

"Well...shit," Mon muttered.

Kara was still peeved with John. "You...lied to me."

"It was for my own good. I didn't know what you would do to me," John said defensively.

"Yeah, I don't trust you for shit now," Kara said to him.

"You're the one we shouldn't trust," John said angrily. "The Kara of my world was everything to me. She was kind, gentle, and not overpowered as fuck. She died fighting Superman who was just as OP as you are. She was the love of my life, my wife, the mother to my daughter. But when I researched who you were and what you've done, it became clear to me that you're nothing like her."

"I did what had to be done. With great power comes great responsibility," Kara said defensively.

"That's bullshit. You enjoy killing people and being in the fight. You're dangerous, Kara, and you must be stopped," John said passionately.

Kara exited the interrogation room and met up with Gen. Lane and two of his senior officers. "We need to change tactics to get what we need to know," Gen. Lane said.

"You mean to torture him? Only if I get to watch," Kara allowed.

"That's not your call," Gen. Lane shut her down.

"I just...I just want to watch," Kara promised him.

"I'm going to go in and Lt. Trask here is going to assist me," Gen. Lane said vaguely.

Kara looked up at Lt. Task who appeared to be seven feet tall. "God damn," she remarked.

"I'm going to get my tools," Lt. Task said walking off.

"Is this happening? Is this real?" Kara wondered.

Kon looked intently on Natalie, the daughter of John and Kara in the other universe. He saw her doing various activities in the photo album. "Too bad I didn't get to meet you, Natalie. You seem pretty cool," Kon said out loud.

"Are you perving on your genetic half-sister?" Mara accused.

"Now, you made it weird," Kon complained. Kon then opened a video of the fight between Supergirl and the Justice League. In the video, Supergirl was stabbed through the back by Aquaman's trident, had her head sliced off by Wonder Woman, and then had her head crushed under Superman's boot.

"Brutal as fuck," Kon remarked.

Mara went to the RV bathroom to throw up. While Mara was freaking out, Kon calmly searched the RV and found the weapon's locker. "Nice," he said looking over the submachine guns. The RV alarm system then went off, the windows became shielded, and the computer demanded identification.

"Uhm...Kon-El, Kon Danvers, Kon Kent," Kon said quickly.

"Sorry, you are unauthorized to be here," the computer said.

"You sound like every girl's parents I ever dated," Kon said not taking the computer seriously. The computer then fired a barrage of machine-gun fire on Kon. The bullets bounced off Kon and ricocheted all over the RV. Kon used his X-ray vision and found the computer system core. He fired on it with his hand ending the assault. Mon then tore the door off and looked around.

"You guys good?" he asked.

"Yep," Kon said smiling.

"Well, okay then," Mon said walking off.

Mara then exited the bathroom. "What was that?"

After the incident, Mon had a heart-to-heart conversation with Kon and Mara. "If those bullets had been Kryptonite, you would have been dead," Mon said to Kon.

"Yeah, maybe," Kon rolled his eyes.

"No going into weird-ass vans without me. If any of you die, it fucks up the whole timeline and we have to start all over again," Mon said. "The enemy knows your weaknesses. They can use lead to shield from your X-ray vision and then use Kryptonite bullets or bombs."

"We understand," Mara said.

"You find anything interesting?" Mon asked.

"I found some guns," Kon said wide-eyed.

"Nice. I'll be going back inside to retrieve them," Mon told him.

"We saw mother get killed in another universe," Mara said tearfully.

"Yeah, it was so sick. She got stabbed through the heart, head chopped off, and then Black Superman crushed her head. It was fucking brutal," Kon said excitedly.

"Black Superman?" Mon wondered.

"He looked like Barack Obama in a Superman suit," Kon said. "We must avenge mother's death. We must attack!"

"I like where your head's at, but we need to gather intel first. It's possible this Superman is as powerful as your mother in this universe," Mon said.

"He'll still have a weakness to Kryptonite," Kon pointed out.

"As will you, your sister, and your mother," Mon said obviously.

"Is killing really the answer?" Mara objected.

"Yes, he killed our mother. He has to die," Kon said resolved.

"It's in another universe. There may be countless universes where our mother is killed by someone. Do we risk our lives trying to kill every single of them?" Mara asked rhetorically.

"Yes!" Kon said slamming the table.

"Let me be clear, the only Kara I can even tolerate is the one in this universe. I've been to other universes where your mother is weak and an insufferable blond ditz. We must avenge our kin but we must also weigh the risks. Your mother and I will discuss our plan of action. Neither of you is to do anything on your own," Mon ordered.

"Yes, Sir," Kon and Mara said together.

"Dismissed," Mon said to them both.

Gen. Lane came in to interrogate John. "You think you can sit here and waste my time like this is some kind of joke?" he asked.

"Yeah," John said nonchalantly.

"On the other side of that mirror is a girl that won't hesitate to beat your Black ass. There's also another guy that will inject you full of drugs to get you to talk," Gen. Lane threatened.

"You talk tough but you don't have the balls to torture me," John said confidently.

"You think you know me because we were comrades-in-arms on some other world? If I am something to you, tell me what I want to know," Gen. Lane ordered.

"You want to know how you died? Like a hero, trying to save the world until Superman murdered you. You can't trust these Kryptonians," John said.

"Well, we finally agree on something," Gen. Lane agreed. "Supergirl and I have a marriage of convenience. Now, she could have sacked the world anytime she wanted to but she didn't. She could have allied with Astra and Non, but she didn't. She could have gone back to Argo with her own people, but she didn't."

"The moment she changes her mind, you're fucked," John said stubbornly.

Gen. Lane came out of the room frustrated. "Send him back to his cell," he ordered his men. "We should talk," Gen. Lane said to Kara.

Lt. Col Rosetti escorted John back to his cell only to be interrupted by Lt. Trask. "How about you go on break, colonel. I'll handle him," Lt. Trask volunteered.

"Negative, General Lane's orders are for him to go back to his cell," Lt. Col. Rosetti replied.

"You know what you're problem is, Rosetti. You're a stickler for the rules. Very uncool," Lt. Trask said grabbing John out of his hands.

"I am a lieutenant colonel, an O-5. You don't talk to me like that. It's okay, I got you. I'll solve all of your problems, right now," Lt. Col. Rosetti said outraged. He took hold of Lt. Trask and slammed him against the wall several times at high speed killing him instantly.

"Holy shit," John said amazed.

Lt. Col. Rosetti then eyed John with glowing red eyes. "Your problems have just begun."

Kon and Mara finally decided to show up to school after hours to watch the drama auditions. "You haven't been answering my texts," Mara said annoyed.

"I don't feel we're on the same page," Kon said.

"We can't go around killing people in other universes," Mara told him.

"Why the fuck not?" Kon asked incredulously.

Sara turned her head thinking she had misheard them. "You're the only one on this planet I can identify with and you're not understanding my pain," Mara said tearfully.

"Oh, shit," Kon realized Mara was making a scene.

"What are those for?" Mara asked of Kon's flowers.

"Being supportive," Kon said.

"You're in the friendzone," Mara identified.

"What? No way, I'm an Insane prince," Kon doubted.

Sara then came up to Kon and Mara. "Have you seen my dad?"

"No, try the bar down the street," Kon suggested.

"I can't do the performance without him," Sara said anxiously.

"I got you. I'll pull the fire alarm and get him over here," Kon volunteered.

"But then the audition would be over," Sara pointed out.

"Honestly, I'm not really good when it comes to cause and effect. I just...do things," Kon admitted.

"Sara Cushing, you're up," the drama teacher ordered.

"He's not coming," Sara realized.

"I can be your dad," Kon offered. "I mean...I can sing with you."

"You don't even know the music," Sara said.

Kon glanced at his smartphone and memorized the lyrics and all the musical notes. "Now, I do,"

"Let's go, Sarah, move your ass," the teacher ordered.

"Okay...okay...okay," Sara relented.

"Almost like we're all drama students instead of real people," Kon said to Mara as he left with Sara. The two got on stage and did a musical number with Sara singing and Kon on the piano. Sara was shaky at first but then was encouraged by Kon's playing. Mara watched Sara intently for any imperfections and finding few.

At the DOD, Kara and Gen. Lane had a chat. "You still thinking to use Trask because I still want to watch him squirm," Kara said.

"I know you do but maybe what we need is Superman," Gen. Lane said. "I know he's not the real Superman, he's someone else that you dressed up as Superman. I don't believe for a moment you would marry your own cousin. My research indicates you hate the man, or, at the very least, are resentful of him. It doesn't make sense for Superman to be married to both you and my Lois. So...what the fuck?"

"Okay, he's Insane. He's Mon-El," Kara revealed.

"The son of Queen Rhea who killed thousands in Metropolis a few years ago? That Mon-El?" Gen. Lane asked incredulously.

"Look, I will acknowledge we could have handled that better," Kara winced.

"Why are you making your Insane husband fly around as if he is Superman?" Gen. Lane asked.

"For kicks and giggles," Kara said seriously.

"Do you have any idea what this is doing to Superman's reputation?" Gen. Lane asked.

"That's the whole idea," Kara said obviously.

"Well, maybe it will entice Superman and Lois to come back and never return to Argo," Gen. Lane said seeing the silver-lining.

"That's the spirit, general," Kara smiled.

"We need to bring Mon-El in to assure John that you can be trusted or stopped. Then, maybe he'll talk," Gen. Lane suggested.

"As I see it, the case is closed. He's just a man. Without his ship, his RV, his suit, his toys, he's just a dude," Kara said dismissively. "I don't know if bringing in Mon would even be a good idea. He gets jealous as fuck. If he finds out I was married to this guy and had a kid with him in another universe, it could be dangerous."

"I don't have time for this drama shit. I have to save the world. So, get Mon-El's ass over here," Gen. Lane ordered.

"Fine but not because you told me to," Kara relented.

Alarm bells then went off. "Shit," Gen. Lane realized.

The two of them entered the command center. "We have a breach in sector 5," a sergeant informed him.

"Where's Irons?" Gen. Lane demanded.

"Unknown," the sergeant replied. "Wait...Lieutenant Trask is dead, Sir."

"Well...shit," Gen. Lane and Kara said at once.

"I want eyes on Rosetti," Gen. Lane ordered.

"I'll go," Kara volunteered.

"Wait...you can't go in Sector 5," Gen. Lane stopped her.

"Why the fuck not?" Kara asked outraged.

"We have Kryptonite in there for peaceful research purposes," Gen. Lane said.

"Well, shouldn't be a problem if it's all contained properly," Kara shrugged.

"They're actually prototype weapons, blades, grenades, gas," Gen. Lane admitted.

"Nice," Kara smiled.

"You're not offended?" Gen. Lane asked confused.

"No, I'm actually impressed," Kara said and then activated her watch.

Mon instantly arrived inside the DEO wearing his Superman suit and entered the lab. He found Rosetti putting on a gas mask. "Where's the Black dude? I'll help you kick his ass."

"You've got it all wrong. The only one that needs help is you," Rosetti said as he used super-speed to blast Mon with green Kryptonite gas. Mon went through the gas and punched Rosetti against the wall.

"Go," he said to John.

Rosetti blasted Mon with more gas. Mon went through it, twisted the muzzle of his weapon. Rosetti disconnected the gas tank from his weapon and let the rest of the gas flow into the room. "You're on the wrong side," Rosetti said as he vibrated uncontrollably.

Mon took off his mask and sent the gas into his face. The two engaged in a fistfight with neither side winning. Mon allowed Rosetti to show off his army fighting skills as he took his time with him. Suddenly, John sliced Rosetti through with a Kryptonite spear. "Really," Mon said disappointedly.

"On my world, we also had this room. This was by far my favorite weapon to kill Kryptonians," John said.

"What's your kill count, bro?" Mon asked suddenly interested.

The room was suddenly flooded with army soldiers, Gen. Lane, and Kara. The Kryptonite gas was sucked out of the room through the ventilation system. "Hold your fire!" Gen. Lane ordered his men.

"But, Sir, it's a Black man with a weapon," one soldier protested.

"John, that spear will do nothing to him. Don't get yourself killed here. We'll avenge your family. More importantly, we'll avenge me," Kara said to him. "I see that you're an angry Black man. I know that face well whenever I pissed off James Olsen. Those were good times. You can't blame yourself for your family's death. You're just a man against gods. It's amazing how far you've come."

"It really is. I kill most of my opponents in the first encounter," Mon agreed.

"It's not your fault they're gone, but it's not his fault either. He's not even Superman," Kara said.

Mon took off his facial mask and then touched John's spear to show it had no effect on him. "John, if Kara ever goes berserk, I'll be here to take her down."

John nodded and then dropped his spear. The army guys then took him away.

Afterward, Gen. Lane had a chat with Kara and Mon. "It's a synthetic Kryptonite gas designed to weaken your respiratory system so you would become vulnerable to conventional attacks."

"Nice," Mon smiled.

"Of course, I never intended to deploy it," Gen. Lane excused himself.

"Don't lie to me, general," Kara said knowingly.

"I hope for the best but prepare for the worst," Gen. Lane said unapologetically.

"Trust goes both ways. I'll tell you everything about us and you tell me about your toys," Kara said.

"Rosetti was a third-generation soldier, loved his country, loved the army. I never saw this coming," Gen. Lane admitted.

"That's how it was with many metahumans in Midvale. The power corrupts and makes people go crazy," Kara recalled.

"Are you saying Irons might be right?" Gen. Lane asked alarmed.

"Fuck yourself, general. I am the epitome of morality and sanity," Kara said insulted.

"Morgan Edge is creating an army with X-Kryptonite. Soon, he'll reveal himself on the battlefield," Mon smiled.

At the house, Kara, Mon, and John came back. Mara eyed John as he went about fixing his shot-up RV. "He tries to kill father and now he's a house-guest?"

"I don't think mother would invite him over if he was dangerous," Kon said dismissively as he played piano.

"Since when have you trusted mother's judgment?" Mara asked him.

"You two talking shit?" Kara asked as she came in.

"No, mother," they both lied.

"Why the fuck is the RV shot up?" Kara demanded.

"It...did it on its own," Kon lied.

"Oh really? That sounds like bullshit. So, neither of you were in the RV when it went off?" Kara asked.

They both shook their heads. "No going into creepy vans without your father," Kara ordered them. "I know you both want to save the world and worlds in other universes but if anything happens to either of you, the timeline gets reset and everything you've done will no longer exist. You two are the most important things to me. So, are we all on the same page?"

"Yes, mother," Mara and Kon said together.

Kara and Mon then went outside to have a chat with John. "So, I'm just free to go?" he asked them.

"We have a friend that can track your ass," Kara assured him.

"So, this is cat-and-mouse?" John assumed.

"If there is a war coming, we'll need...all the help we can get," Kara scoffed.

"I'll fight these metahumans first and then...I'm coming for you," John said to Kara.

"Glad to hear it," Kara said pleased.

"I've come to terms with my wife's passing. You're not her. You just look like her," John realized.

"John, I'm going to see if it's possible to reach your earth and defeat your Superman and all of his allies. And when we do kill them all, I'm going to send your Black ass back to your home where you belong," Kara said seriously.

"I won't hold my breath," John said skeptically and then entered his RV.

Once he was gone, Kara called up Brainiac 5. "Send a probe to Earth-23. I want to know what I'm up against," Kara ordered.

"Certainly," Brainiac 5 replied.

Kara went to see Dr. Wong in Metropolis. "Thank you for seeing me on such short notice," Kara said gratefully.

"My door is always open for someone like you," Dr. Wong replied taking a seat. "So, what's the problem now?"

"I've been having some life changes, major life changes. Don't get me wrong, life has always been complicated for me. I'm good at being complicated but recently I've been falling apart. Like everything was slipping through my fingers. I pretended to be gay to help Trump win, then he lost, and I took that personally. I went into a deep depression and didn't want to be around my husband or my kids. I felt like I was not appreciated or respected by the people I save countless times. Then, today, my kids nearly got killed in a creepy RV," Kara said.

"I'm worried that if I don't get it together, I'm going to hurt people I love, maybe even sack the planet. I mean, I got this Black dude from another universe telling me that I could go bad because of my immense power. This guy is an accomplished attractive brave man...but he doesn't trust me. What the fuck does that say about me?" Kara asked rhetorically.

"Do you have regrets?" Dr. Wong asked knowing the answer.

"I don't really feel regret," Kara admitted.

"Do you no longer believe your friends can put a check on you?" Dr. Wong asked.

"Mon and Barney have always been there to prevent from going too crazy, but I wonder if they can even stop me. If I were to have the element of surprise, could they really stop me? I don't even think my own sister, Karina, can stop me," Kara said wide-eyed.

"What do you think might trigger you to go on a murder spree?" Dr. Wong asked.

"I don't know. I don't know what I would have done if Kon and Mara ended up dead in that RV. Would I have killed Mon for incompetence? I surely would have tortured John to death and any soldier that got in my way. I can imagine myself doing twisted, crazy things," Kara admitted.

"The only way to fix this is for you to go back to your own time where you belong, the 31st century," Dr. Wong said.

"I just feel that's kicking the can down the road. What's to stop me from going crazy in the future and killing even more people? I'm supposed to run a Galactic Federation. I am more powerful than any fleet of ships in the galaxy. I can destroy planets with ease," Kara said.

"If you're that afraid of yourself, you need to give your friends and family the tools to destroy you...or do it yourself," Dr. Wong suggested. "Or find ways to stabilize yourself so you're not on such a short fuse."

Kara got up and looked out the window. "Perhaps, I just need to get out all of my aggression and hate all at once."

"What do you have in mind?" Dr. Wong asked slightly concerned.

Kara envisioned herself as Supergirl facing off against Superman, an army of metahumans all with Kryptonian powers, the Justice League, and the world's combined military power in a Metropolis that was not her own. "You think you can really defeat me and my army?" Superman-23 scoffed at her.

"You should have brought more," Kara smirked as she went Prime.
