Sally's Secret

It has been a while, and Arthur has reached Level 26 in Fix-It Felix Jr. Sugar Rush is still going intense, and a number of gamers have started questioning Sally's racer, Rancis, and some rumors have been popping out about Sally's Rancis having the RV1 instead of the Kit-Kart, although he still uses the latter too for gamers. Molly wants to know what Sally did to get this kind of kart, but she didn't know that there has been a significant rumor regarding the kart, and that rumor can be traced back to one storybook that TobiKomi believed.

One Sweet Race

Rancis Fluggerbutter loved nothing more than to race, and he had made a special bookshelf with a special spot for his very first Sugar Rush 1st Place trophy. All he had to do is to win one, but hard as he tried, he had never won a race. Previous victories under the belt of gamers don't count, and EVEN the Random Roster competitions don't count because the reward for winning is a Roster Spot. The other racers made fun of him, even Vanellope and ESPECIALLY Taffyta. But these two, despite being on top of their game, still manage to cheer him up.

Vanellope: "Maybe next time, Rancis."

Taffyta: "Don't give up; I know you can still win."

Rancis pretended not to care, but he did. One day, Rancis has had enough. He counted his coins he earned from racing, and sold everything (Except his old kart) and with that, he has a LOT of coins to buy the fastest kart the bakery ever made. It was a Chocolate Ice-Cream kart, and Rancis pulled up to the starting line. The other racers looked at his new kart. All Rancis knows is that he is going to win, and nothing else.

Taffyta: "Um, Rancis, are you sure you're going to win with that? Have you tried practicing?"

Rancis: "I did with my old one, and I'm sure I can control this. You'll see."

Vanellope:" Well, good luck. I hope you know what you're doing."

The green flag drops, and Rancis accelerates uncontrollably, bumping Jubileena off to a Guardrail, Rancis Biffs Minty, Crumbelina, and Adorabeezle off the track, slammed into Candlehead, causing her bubblegum windshield to get busted, and as he caught up to Vanellope and Taffyta, the latter two were worried.

Vanellope: "Rancis? Are you able to control that?!"

Taffyta: "Seriously, calm down, Rancis!"

Rancis: "I won't lose to you that easily!"

Rancis insisted that he could win, but he was wrong, he veered off to some Chocolate covered Cherry boulders. Luckily he was able to control it, but he is now behind Vanellope, Taffyta, Candlehead, Adorabeezle and Crumbelina. He was unfortunate to win, but manages to cross the finish line, placing 6th of all 15 racers. This time, Taffyta won first place, and Vanellope came Second. The two decide to cheer Rancis up, but he just ignores them. At least he's a bit happy with the race-completion medal and coins he got from this race, but not enough to fix the kart. Then, Fix-It Felix Jr. and Sergeant Calhoun came to see him.

Felix: "What's wrong, Rancis?"

Tamora: "Did someone get Chocolate on your Fluggerbutter?"

Rancis: "It's nothing, guys…. Argh who am I kidding… I tried to prove a point to Van and Taff, by selling everything I had to buy this kart. Although I did get coins from this race, it's not enough to buy a new one, and I can't upgrade my old Kit-Kart just because I want to since the Stats have been established, it would be cheating."

Felix: "Well, why not build one?"

Tamora: "So stop moping around, Soldier, and follow us."

Rancis, Felix, and Tamora started with a Blueprint, with Rancis designing the kart. Tamora tells Rancis about Aerodynamics, and Felix tells Rancis about car upgrades. First, they take a Stale Cake for a Car body from the Stale Cake depot, and start to make the design as shown in the blueprint. After finding parts for the kart, they did it; they made a kart without abusing the Kart bakery minigame.

Felix: "Jiminy Jaminy, you did it, kid! What would you name one of these things?"

Rancis: "Um, well, I'd like to name it after you guys."

Tamora: "To be honest, not a good idea, since Wreck-It had a good excuse with Vanellope's ordeal."

Rancis: "Oh, I know! RV1! R for Rancis; V for my Target prize, Vanellope, oh my Sweetheart; and 1 for the Icing on top of the cake!"

Felix: "Alright, I hope you know what you're doing."

Rancis: "Oh, I know alright…"

And so, Rancis pulled up to the starting line, and everyone was shocked…. A HUGE Wave of "Oh no, Not AGAIN!" is already visible on their faces, and all of a sudden…. Rancis PUNCHES Vanellope and threatens her!

Rancis: "You're going down, President Junkpile, BRING IT ON!"

Vanellope smiled, despite Rancis' intimidating glare at her, and grins viciously…

Vanellope: "Then you gotta prove it, Fluggerbutter…."

Rancis: "Oh, I will!"

And so the race starts! Rancis overtook all the other racers, and is now behind Vanellope and Taffyta. Knowing those two would shove their victories in everyone's faces triggers Rancis' jealousy, but what he learned from Felix and Tamora is that Rancis must exploit his envy to his advantage. Vanellope and Taffyta had no idea that Rancis is with them, and Taffyta uses her Power-Up just in case, Sprinkle Spikes, which Rancis manages to evade. Rancis got a Power-Up himself, Ice Cream Launcher. But he keeps it for later. Rancis overtook Vanellope and Taffyta. Taffyta got herself a Power-Up, Sugar Boost to accelerate, and Vanellope glitches to overtake Rancis, who suddenly activates his Power-Up, landing on Vanellope's kart and eliminating her cone of sight!

Vanellope: "MMMMFFF MMMMMFFHH! (In a muffled voice: AAAAAAAAGH! I CAN'T SEE! I CAN'T SEE!)"

Rancis just laughed as he overtook Vanellope again. Taffyta witnessed in shock as Vanellope was covered in Ice Cream that she is driving uncontrollably, and then, Rancis unleashes his Character Skill: Fluggerbutter Sludge, which Vanellope drove into, causing a Wipeout, Crashing into Taffyta, and causing the two to skid off to a Molasses Swamp! Thankfully they managed to recover and drive back to the track. Rancis came First, Taffyta came second, and Vanellope came third. Rancis finally got his First Win in a race that is NOT the Random Roster competition or under a Gamer's wing. Taffyta and Vanellope congratulate him.

Vanellope: "Great Job, Rancis, you sure delivered a sweet kick to my butt!"

Taffyta: "Awesome race, you sure still got it, even with a different kart."

Rancis: "Thanks, girls, and Van, I'm sorry I went Calhoun on your jaw…"

Vanellope: "Ehehehehe, Ranics, don't sweat it… I kinda deserved…"

Rancis then kissed Vanellope's cheek, specifically the one which Rancis punched on earlier.

Taffyta: "Awwww… looks like you guys should start dating."

Vanellope: "Maybe… Say, Rancis, where are you going to put that trophy? You sold your furniture, right?"

Rancis: "Don't sweat it, I can make new furniture on my own, remember. But JUST to be clear, I'm STILL keeping my old kart, because ONE, that is part of my theme, and TWO, for the sake of the gamers so that they don't think I'm cheating!"

And that is how Rancis got his RV1, depicted in the book, but that's NOT the actual thing, so how did Rancis get the RV1 in reality? Well, the events on the book were FICTIONAL, and Rancis never made the kart. He got the kart when Sugar Rush was upgraded The only reason he used the kart in Off-Hours before Sally managed to do something that granted her Rancis with RV1 instead of Kit-Kart was because he wouldn't cheat, otherwise, if he was seen driving the kart as an NPC opponent, it would be suspicious.

Gamers can ACTUALLY drive Rancis in his new kart, but they have to do so by inputting a secret cheat code. All he can hope for now is to not have someone fool enough to expose that secret. As time passed by, Sally, Swati, Nafisa and Isaac have stopped playing, as they ran out of quarters. And then a big commotion happened on Fix-It Felix Jr., and it was Arthur, as he managed to reach level 124 with 148900, and his game was over at Level 125 with 149600. That afternoon, Arthur and his siblings go back home, as tomorrow is Arthur's first day at his new school.

Author's Note: Okay, so this fanfiction has another story that was altered, and that is One Sweet Race. Now, many people have this "VanillaButter" pairing, and i'm fine with that, but maybe, a Love-Hate relationship should start off. So, Rancis, was jealous of Vanellope and Taffyta, and he just wanted to prove a point to the two rivals. Vanellope wasn't the one who helped Rancis build RV1, instead, it was Felix and Sergeant Tamora/Calhoun who did it for him. Now, you know how Tamora would punch Ralph or Felix when they screw up, so i had to have Rancis do it to Vanellope. If you find it offensive that Rancis had to go Calhoun to Vanellope, then i'm sorry, but not every relationship starts nicely. So yeah, in this OSR, the moral is: If you're jealous, use it to inspire you and to your advantage.

This also raises some questions. If the story said that the developers believed in that storybook, does that mean "Wreck-It Ralph" as a movie was set as an In-Universe movie? The answer is, YES! Ralph did help Vanellope race, but the events played out differently as well. To make it clear, My Wreck-It Ralph Fanfictions take place in an Alternate Universe where the stories in these fanfictions are Actual events, while both movies are purely fictional To make my answer clear, i made a REWRITTEN Adaptation of the first movie: Wreck-It Ralph REWRITTEN.
