-==Chapter 7==-
Slaughter-Anon
That night, at the Game Central Station, Ralph, Vanellope, and the bad guys board a train to the Internet. Their destination is Slaughter Race. As Ralph promised, since Shank cannot visit Game Central Station, Ralph and his bad guy allies agree to move the Bad-Anon meetings from Pac-Man, to Slaughter Race. The meeting took place at Shank and her crew's garage.
Ralph: "Evening, lads."
Arcade Game Villains, Vanellope, Shank, Little Debbie, Felony, Pyro, and Butcher Boy: "Evening, Ralph."
Ralph: "Alright, who would like to talk first?"
Shank: "I would. I'm Shank, the lead Bad Guy of Slaughter Race, and I have a story to tell. Have you ever thought of what would happen, if you would have to lose a loved one?"
M. Bison: "Yes, it is a very awful topic. The people in the real world have it harshly."
Shank: "Exactly, and it's something that one of my gamers have been experiencing through. And even if you are a video game villain, sometimes you have loved ones you just care for, and that you don't want to lose that someone."
Clyde: "Well, that is a sad story. Would you mind telling us who this particular gamer is?"
Felony: "His name is Jackson Madison, or by this game's username, DirtySocks537. He is one of the greatest Slaughter Race players out there, and the most feared of all."
Little Debbie: "Except, that he learnt it from his late sister, Heather Elizabeth Madison, who died last Friday."
Arcade Game Villains (Except Ralph and Vanellope): "(Gasp in fear) THE HELL-DEFILER?!"
Shank: "Well, yes… I take it that you guys know about Jackson's sister?"
Zangief: "Know her? Damn right we know her, lady! She has been Crushing men's skulls like Sparrow Eggs between Thighs, and she has been making records throughout our arcade!"
Pyro and Butcher Boy: "Huh?"
Dr. Eggman: "He's talking about her making notorious records that encourage the gamers to take risks! Look at Ralph's game, the record is now Level 136 with 187900 points! The previous record was Hell-Defiler's!"
Kano: "You can-NOT underestimate gamers, Shank! You are a bad guy, and a Gamer's immense Skills are something you must brave against if you wanna win!"
Shank: "I know… I take it that she inflicts fear upon you guys when her name is mentioned?"
Bowser: "Pretty much… Why do you want to talk about her?"
Vanellope: "Hey, people…"
Arcade Game villains, Ralph, Shank and her crew: "Hey, Vanellope…"
Vanellope: "I'm Vanellope, and... I'm a star racer who felt like a Bad Guy… and I have an answer to Shank's reason and Bowser's Question. Actually, Heather…. Is dead…"
Arcade Game villains (Except Ralph and Shank): "DEAD?!"
Vanellope: "She saved a boy named Arthur from getting wrecked by a truck, but her heroism is at the cost of her own life. And to make matters worse, her death was celebrated by some School Bullies."
Zangief, Bowser, Kano and Saitine: "OH MY GOODNESS!"
Shank: "Just yesterday, Jackson made a video regarding the death of his sister, and many game fans were devastated about the news."
M. Bison: "That…. Was really… a sad story, so, what does this have to do with video game bad guys?"
Felony: "Actually, we kinda sympathize with the Hell-Defiler's family, having to lose a family member in a violent way."
Vanellope: "I too have once asked that question, about wanting to make someone happy."
Zangief: "Well, there is one way. Just be present at the game they are playing. It will remind them that someone is on their side to help them recover from sad events that affect them negatively."
Ralph: "And you don't have to try too hard, Shank, like I said, we Video Game characters are capable of helping the people in the real world. But we must make sure that we are using a safe method. Being simply present in a game they are playing, is good enough. And that is what can also be described as, taking life one game at a time."
Shank: "Thanks, Ralph…."
Everyone in the room: "(Applauses)"
Zangief: "So, anyone else want to talk about something?"
Everyone at the room tell stories together, and after a while, it's time to return to the arcade to make morning preparations.
Ralph: "Okay guys, that wraps up for this week. We shall close with the bad guy affirmation."
Ralph, Vanellope, Arcade Game villains, Shank and her crew: "I'm bad, and that's good. I will never be good, and that's not bad. There's no one I'd rather be, than me."
Vanellope: "Alright, guys, we'll meet again next week."
The Arcade characters take a train back to Litwak's. The next Monday, as the arcade characters rise to go to work, Arthur attends the new school which is closer to the Arcade.
To be continued...
Author's note: This chapter is about the Bad-Anon, and how it plays out with Shank and her crew, well, albeit this being one of their meetings, and not the first one. And to take humanity into account, there ARE video game villains who want to make people happy, like what Shank wants to do to cheer up a young boy named Jackson, whom we will meet in the next chapter. Also, since Shank cannot visit the arcade because of her game's circumstances, Bad-Anon meetings take place in Slaughter Race, specifically, Shank's garage.
