Hey guys, I'm back with the latest update… It wasn't too long a wait, was it? I'm getting better at updating more regularly, I posted the last chapter of 'Drunk Dial', 'High School Never Ends' and my new story 'Growing Up' within the last couple of weeks, possibly 3. I'm trying! I know a lot of writers on here write a story first then post it every few days as it's already written but honestly If I did that it would never get posted because I'd forget and it would be wasted on my laptop, forever unseen lol. I prefer to write a chapter at a time and post it as I finish it because I like to read your thoughts on the chapter I worked hard on and actually remember what I've written. I know a few of you are worried as I have 3 in-progress stories that are not completed, but I promise that I plan to complete all of them. Just because I've started a new story doesn't mean I will abandon my others. Don't forget I was a long-time reader before I started writing, so I know what it feels like to have a story abandoned and years later still wishing for an ending that will never come. Sometimes I get writers block or stuck on a story (like this chapter, for example), so I switch to one of the others until I get the story the way I want it, I'd rather be constantly writing than to fall out of the habit of it. Rant over lol.
As I write this, it's a sunny, early spring day and I'm sitting on the edge of a riverbank as my girlfriend is magnet fishing #LesbianCoupleGoals lol. Don't worry, we're alone and abiding by social distancing and the river is in front of our house so we're not breaking the 10-mile travel limit. If these beautiful surroundings, fresh air and the calming sounds of the river isn't inspiration to write, I don't know what is lol. Chapter 6:
As the blonde finished her heartfelt declaration, the brunette took her face in her hands and wiped away the younger woman's tears. Alex stared into glassy, ocean blue eyes for a few seconds, only to confirm that the blonde was being sincere. She truly meant every word. Alex leaned in closer to the younger woman, their faces only an inch apart. The brunette waited a few seconds (that felt like a lifetime), fearing the blonde's rejection, only it never came. Alex closed the gap between them and gently pressed her lips against her ex-girlfriends. If it were a movie, there would be fireworks and cheesy music playing in the background as the screen went to black and the credits started to roll. Unfortunately, this was not a movie, it was real life.

The blonde grabbed the phone, forgetting to check the caller ID and answered it just in time before it went to voicemail.
''Hello?'' Piper answered as she put the phone to her ear.
''Hey babe, I just got home… Where are you?'' Larry asked happily.
